Catrina Grill

Holy yum! This place is worth the drive!! This is the most authentic west coast Mexican food I've had since we moved to Texas! We had the street tacos (chicken and carne), soft tacos, quesadilla, fresh made blue corn tortilla chips, and red and green salsa! Everything was delicious and we will be back SOON! The service was great, everyone was kind and the food came out fast. The ambiance was great and we really enjoyed the music and seating. They have fresh tortillas, chips, salsa, and goodies to go. If you love Mexican food you're going to want to try out Catrina Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner!

I ate here recently after looking for a food spot in the area it was the only restaurant in the strip. I went with the pastor and beef fajita tacos. It took probably about 7 minutes for them to be served me . I liked that they separated the cilantro and the chopped onions on my plate. The pastor taco was good it wasn't the robust with flavor but for the price versus taste it wasn't bad, but it was average. The meat has a nice temperature the seasoning was a modest as well. The beef fajita tacos was okay as well flavor wise. The meat was a little dry. The flavors was bland. I did add green salsa to both tacos to help enhance the flavor and alleviate the dryness of the meat. The green salsa was basic flavor wise. There's wasn't any kick to the flavor this was a mild salsa. However this spot is worth a try. I would eat here again the prices is phenomenal and the tacos aren't bad at all

Wanted tacos after we landed to Dallas, so we stopped by this place. Small little restaurant in a plaza. We order the chips and queso and street tacos. I ended up getting asada and al pastor. The street tacos came with 5 small tacos which was perfect. Also comes with grilled onions, cilantro and onions on the side. It was good. Seemed like they made their own tortillas. Service was quick cause you order your meal and they bring your food to your table.

Saw a video of this place on TikTok. Gonna be real here if it wasn't for TikTok. I probably wouldn't have ever stepped foot in here. I had seen the video a couple of weeks back but hadn't had a chance to hit it up. We'll today was the day, and I was gonna try it. Location is about 5 miles away from my place. I finished my workout and said to myself Catarina it is! Showered up, got dressed, and drove over. Place was about to close and got here around 8:30ish. There were 3 people i side ordering. Checked out the menu while i waited and knew what I wanted. Staff was friendly and asked what I wanted. I ordered a street taco plate and a taco birria plate. Got to compliment location. This place was super clean and well kept. Got my order pretty fast. Got home and feasted. Let me tell you the food was fantastic.Both plates were stuffed with meat paid about 20ish bucks but well worth it. Flavors were on point, and the corn tortillas looked homemade. You can also buy flour and corn tortillas to go as well as pastries.-Business cleanliness 10 outa 10 -Menu selection 10 outa 10-Staff 10 outa 10 just cause I went late and they were still nice.-Street taco plate 10 outa 10 stuffed with fajita-Birria taco plate 9 outa 10 only cause it was 2 tacos only, but consome was good.This place is a must visit. I will definitely be back and actually eat here at a table. They offer free chips for dine in.

Catrina Grill has a very chill and relaxing ambiance.Drive-thru, dinning in or catering- they got you. Owner Luis (not me - another Luis lol) has two locations serving up pan dulce, tortillas, chips and Mexican food. I look forward to going back for more.

Cool little spot!! The reason I came was to get the green salsa!! It's !!! So so good! So I grabbed tacos to see how they were!! The breakfast tacos were good! The barbacoa was super greasy and the worse part was they serve it with tortillas de harina - tacos de barbacoa go with tortillas de maiz! Anyway the flavor was pretty good but yea with tortillas de harina made me sad lol!!! They should ask what tortillas we want !!! Tacos = tortillas de maiz -- im going back to try the lunch

Very good spot! Stopped in with the wife and upon entry I was impressed by how an and welcoming the restaurant was. We ordered the fajita plate as well as a half chicken. Both came with rice and beans. The fajitas were tasty and well prepared. The chicken is where it is at though! Great size and very tasty. The green sauce that comes with it is the bomb and the tortillas were very fresh and tasty. Rice was well prepared and the beans had a great flavor. The service was on point and the nice cashier answered all our questions. Great local spot and well worth a try.

Birria tacos were delish, the consommé was flavorful and that cheesy shell is the stuff dreams are made of. Too bad I ate them too fast to take a pic! If you're in the area, this casual, family run restaurant is definitely worth a stop.

I went to the Dallas location and it was SO good. Of course like the most recent reviews I saw it on tiktok and they did not disappoint. The Birria tacos were 10/10. Service was great, definitely making this a go to spot.

Worst experience waited 30 min for the food never came the tables where dirty never coming back horrible service here
