My Son wanted to go to Carbone for his birthday. So here we are! Their parking lot is mostly for Valet. If you don't want to pay for valet, you have a bit of a trek from a lot across the driveway entrance to the complex. Which, as a disabled person, wasn't fun. They should leave some of their handicapped parking accessible, in the valet lot, for people like me. Once you arrive at Carbone's door, everyone is very courteous, from opening the door to enter, to the staff at the hostess stand, drink server and our personal server, Kate. She is funny, polite, attentive, caring, knowledgeable and simply a damn good server! We started with espresso cocktails. Followed my apps of calamari, truffle ricotta bread, mini meatballs and a salad. All very good For entrees, we ordered a Margherita pizza, their famous Spicy Rigatoni Vodka Pasta and an order of their deconstructed lasagna. All very good, and it's true what everyone says about the spicy rigatoni, it's amazing Lastly, Kate brought out the hazelnut, chocolate ganache cake w a candle for the birthday boyIt was rich, so sharing one slice was a smart decision...All in all a great experience, it's a bit pricey, so we will be back for special occasions.

I was incredibly excited to try this spot after hearing so much buzz about Carbone, but unfortunately, it is mediocre. Came here with my boyfriend yesterday for an early Valentines dinner & immediately had a bad taste in my mouth. You can't bring flowers. They take them from you & leave it somewhere until after your dinners over & you leave. Ok, fine. Sure. The complimentary bread, cheese, and salami was yummy. I honestly think it was the best thing we ate at Carbone. Right off the bat, we ordered a $200 bottle of wine- which I would assume, the server would be happy with & be more attentive. Wrong. We ordered the calamari, spicy rigatoni with meatballs, the lobster ravioli, and literally never saw our server again. Hahaha. It's kind of funny really. (The portions are also NOT family style. Maybe it's family style if everyone has ONE SINGULAR piece of pasta!)The food was also cold when it got to our table. The rigatoni was chewy. It is NOT WORTH THE HYPE PEOPLE!Never asked how the food was. He literally never came back! Our bottle was finished right as we finished dinner & we usually drink more after that but who could we order with if our own server abandoned us? It's crazy. It's actually crazy. He was too busy attending to his other three tables who were 4+ people. If you're coming here as a pair, don't do it. You won't get good service for the price you're paying. This is a one and done experience. No thank you!

What a beautiful restaurant! Really enjoyed the dark, moody ambience. Service was really good here! They check on you often, refill drinks and are good at their job. Now for the food, wasn't a huge fan. Overhyped. Personally found the spicy rigatoni to be chewy/gummy. Their bread basket and Cesar were delicious! Personally, not running back here. Another pro was their onsite valet.

The thing I love about Carbone is how consistently good it is. You can always expect your food to taste the same as you remember. It is a dark moody vibe inside but it's great for the vibes. The servers are always super attentive!!

The vibe of Carbone is definitely it! It's dark and lovely. And the music is at a perfect volume so you can still have good convo with friends. I came here with a group of 6 for dinner! We had a good time, but the food didn't really do it for me, I was kind of shocked! The best part of the evening for me was the bread for the table, and the special truffle fettuccine pasta. The bread is soooooo good! This doesn't mean I won't try Carbone again, I might, but I'm not running back. We got a spread of food - calamari, tuna, ribeye Diana, lamb chops, and more. The calamari was good, but they asked if we wanted to put this sauce over it, and we said yes, and it made the dish pretty soggy/salty, so I kind of wish we didn't. We ordered the potato Louie, but I was too full to even try it and it looked so good. I've had the spicy vodka pasta at carbone vino a year back and really liked it, but I wasn't super crazy about it this night. I also didn't care for the lobster ravioli which I was really shocked about. It needed more flavor IMO. Our server was amazing and very knowledgeable. The only thing I found odd, was when I went to the bathroom, I couldn't find paper towels to dry my hands. I was so frustrated with wet hands. When I tried to tell someone they were out, they tried to tell me there was extra under the sink. I was like ummmm, yeah not going to re-stock the bathroom for you. This could have just been an off night, so I may give this place another shot.

Incredible food and service - what a special dining experience! I have been wanting to try Carbone for the longest time and our dinner did not fall short of high expectations. We came for our New Year's Eve dinner and had an amazing time. Parking - Complimentary valet on site. Ambiance - we were fortunate enough to sit in the main dining room and it was so so stunning. The entire building was gorgeous and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Food - Ok let's get into it! When you sit down you get an assorted bread basket, a hunk of cheese and a meat platter. The bread platter was to die for and i couldn't get enough of the cheese! So good! We shared the spicy rigatoni as that's a must and it did NOT disappoint. We also got 2 of their specials for the night: Truffle fettuccine and one of the steaks (I'm vegetarian so I don't pay attention lol, it was $170 and my boyfriend LOVED it). The truffles were flown in that day from Italy and they brought the box over for us to see prior to shaving over our pasta. It was incredibly expensive ($175) but was the best truffle dish I've ever had. We did not save room for desert and didn't order any more drinks but all the more reason to come back.Service - impeccable. This to me is what separate good/nice fancy restaurants and exceptional. This is the type of place where it feels like you have 5 people waiting on you at a time and folds your napkin all fancy when you leave for the bathroom. Our main waiter was incredible friendly, knowledgable and made for a special experience. Carbone made our new years eve dinner so so lovely - can't wait to celebrate and indulge again in the future!

I recently visited Carbone and had an excellent dining experience overall. While this location doesn't quite match the ambiance of the Miami spot or perhaps some of the other Carbone locations, the food and service were top-notch.Carbone and Vino are housed together, with Vino offering a relaxed, laid-back vibe and Carbone feeling more intimate. Our server was outstanding--attentive, knowledgeable, and thorough in explaining the menu, which elevated the experience. We started with a glass of wine and enjoyed the complimentary bread basket, which included vegetables, Parmesan cheese, and meat. The garlic and pizza breads were the highlights--so good that I was tempted to ask for more! For appetizers, we chose the Caesar Alla ZZ, which was prepared tableside. They kindly accommodated my request to omit anchovies, and it still tasted incredible. The crisp lettuce, perfectly portioned Parmesan, and warm, seasoned jumbo croutons were standout features. The special winter white truffle menu caught our attention, and we decided to indulge. The truffle was aromatic yet not overpowering, and they even showed it to us before preparing the dish--a nice touch. The truffle fettuccine was delicious, with a light sauce that let the truffle shine.Of course, I couldn't leave without trying the Spicy Rigatoni Vodka, which absolutely lived up to the hype--it's a must-try!I had seen reviews mentioning complimentary Italian rainbow cookies, which I was looking forward to, but unfortunately, we didn't receive any. To satisfy my sweet tooth, we ordered the hazelnut cake, which was a delightful way to end the meal.Overall, Carbone delivered excellent food and service, and while the ambiance may not have been as impressive as other locations, the dining experience was still memorable. I'd definitely return, especially for that Spicy Rigatoni Vodka!

Sadly, an underwhelming experience. My fiance took me here for my 30th birthday and I don't think we will ever be back. While we really loved the ambiance, the food was just OK. There are many better Italian options in DFW at the same or more affordable price . PROS:-The bread they start you off with is absolutely delicious. Big fan of the Parmesan and salami as well.- oysters come pre-dressed and are good- espresso martini is delicious.- pasta is amazing . Don't even bother ordering anything else . The tortellini al ragu and truffle fettuccine were excellent- service is goodCONS:- never been to an upscale restaurant that doesn't celebrate someone's birthday or anniversary . Don't recommend for any type of celebration.- the bass alison has no flavor whatsoever . I had to order pasta because the fish was extremely bland and simply tasted like olive oil :(- too much pesto on the crudo.Overall, I would not recommend . There are just way too many better options in Dallas .

The service was excellent- until I knew the pasta sauce was way too salty.I loved Carbone but now it's just not worth it-Being from New Orleans my palette needs a well rounded meal - the ambiance was great until i told them about the sauce.Every place has a bad day- I did not like their treatment after mentioning it.The way they hurried us out- Not at all what i fell in love with - going out of my way to eat at Carbone and sometimes going to Dallas to eat there. This place may be on the way down- I like consistency- too bad it failed epically-The waitstaff needs to learn how to behave better- every restaurant has an off day.
