Do NOT let the derogatory description of a Canadian foo you. I would put this classic Dive Bar up against any Dive Bar in Texas. Come here only if you love America, cold beer and your fellow man. Complainers need not apply

Great little dive bar. Not much to look at on the outside but the inside is fairly nice. Drinks are cheap and on Saturday nights they have a live band. They have darts, shuffle board, pool tables and domino tables. Place is pretty spread out and is attached tona hotel in case you get lucky. Room s are 40 bucks.

Wasn't expecting much when I saw this place is inside an old hotel. This place is what a dive bar should be. It's dark, great drink prices and a few quiet corners for people who just want to be left alone. Came on a Sunday afternoon and the regulars were there cheering on their favorite football teams. Talk about some die hard fans!! The bartender easily kept up with all those people in the bar effortlessly. They have a full size shuffleboard table and a nice set up for bones.

GREAT local bar, especially if you like shuffle board (they have tournaments) and darts. I'm also a jukebox freak, and they have one of those too. Beer/drink prices are reasonable, it's a huge place so it never seems crowded, people are nice, bartenders are nicer! My ONLY complaint is the bathroom is in the hallway, because it's a hotel and the food hours are kinda strange. I never really know when I can and can't get food? BUT the food is also relatively new, so I'm cutting them some slack. It's very clean and again very reasonable. It's kind of divey, but I like divey! There's also live music from time-to-time and it's always been good! Don't let the hotel location turn you off, I think you'll enjoy yourself here!

This is a local hangout, but they welcome everyone just the same. Music is loud enough, the greens are clean and ready, the staff is on point, don't knock it till you try it. If you want to HEAR music and want to get that shuffle down then this is the place. It's my 5th time and I see many more because it's laid back but good enough to brag about.

I had intended to leave a review for the Texan Inn that adjoins Canucks, however, there is NO listing for the hotel which is comprised of a square built around a pool. It makes sense, however, to just leave the message with Canucks as the music last Thursday evening was emanating from the place! LOUD, LOUD pulsating music until well after 10PM blasted throughout the hotel complex. When I contacted the hotel front desk, the off hours man stated that the loud music would continue until 11 - 11:30PM. NO CONSIDERATION REGARDING THE PATRONS OF THE HOTEL and they are the people paying for his wages! Instead of at least attempting to resolve the situation, he was fine with me missing two hours of sleep :/ On the uptake, the person who checked me in was very accommodating and a good soul - Debbie. I had another problem the third day of my stay but take responsibility for that one. Ultimately I went through the booking agency and wanted to secure a refund for the second night and the hotel was just as smug as they had been about the loud music well into the night. Watch out for the unpredictable when you decide to stay at the Texan Inn. I will never do so again.

Good place, used to go there whwn it was the ramada, like 10 years ago, not much has changed at all, its been updated, its a great cheap clean safe place to stay, clean pool and great staff

Badass local bar. Steph is a great bartender and the churros are delicious. Ambiance is local dive bar so if that's your thing give it a shot.
