Canopy by Hilton Dallas Uptown

I was in Dallas for business and wanted to stay somewhere different. I am a Hilton Honors member and wanted to stay in the uptown area. I like the Canopy brand so off I went. I really enjoyed this property in so many ways. The bar upstairs, the lobby, the room everything was on par. The staff was very helpful in every way. I would definitely recommend this location and would stay here in the future.

I recently stayed at the Canopy Hotel in Dallas and had a mixed experience. While the hotel itself is quite nice, my stay was marred by a few significant issues.Firstly, the front desk staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. From the moment we arrived, we didn't feel welcome as guests. This lack of hospitality was disappointing and set a negative tone for our stay.Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. The floors were very dirty, which was quite off-putting. To make matters worse, housekeeping services are not provided unless you specifically request them. This policy was inconvenient and contributed to the overall feeling of neglect.On a positive note, the hotel's amenities and decor were pleasant, and the location is convenient. However, the poor service and cleanliness issues overshadowed these positives.I hope the management addresses these concerns to improve the guest experience in the future.

Beautiful hotel in the Uptown Dallas area. Love the proximity of all the shops nearby and walking distance. You have shopping, fitness, bar, and food all around the area. The keep the rooms clean and well maintained. Staff was very helpful if we needed anything.

Great spacious indoor and rooftop seating! Open till midnight, pleasant ambiance. Good views of the city especially in the night. Bartenders were friendly to make you any drink you want. I got a lemon drop and my friend got a passion fruit palp

My friends and I stayed here while were in town for an event and really enjoyed our stay. Immediately when I walked in I was impressed with how nice the place looked and how great it smelled. Check in process was a breeze and our hotel room was spacious, clean, and perfect for our needs. The front desk person recommended a restaurant to have lunch in and even gave us a coupon. His recommendation was outstanding! (The Rustic)We really liked the neighborhood it was in, close to downtown but actually had parking. I was particularly worried about parking since my buddy has a lifted truck and the garage wasn't an option. We easily found on-street parking and I am planning to stay at this location the next time I am in town.

On 9/24/24 I was commuting to work on an electric scooter. I was just down the street from this hotel when I hit a bump in the road and fell. I bumped my head hard enough to break my helmet, cut open my eyebrow, get a swollen black eye, and was scraped up pretty badly. Someone at this hotel must have seen it happen because moments later an employee drove up in her car to ask me if I was ok. My memory is fuzzy, but I think her name is Marie and I think she said she is the Assistant Manager. I told her that I had called my husband to come pick me up. She mentioned that she worked at this hotel and asked me if I'd like to come and wait in the lobby rather than the planter I was sitting in on the street. She escorted me and my scooter down the street and inside, got me water, made sure I was feeling ok, and introduced me to the men at the front desk. They were all so kind and caring, and I can't thank them enough for coming to my aid and giving me a safe place to wait. I can't comment on the rooms, or what it is like to be an overnight guest, but the lobby is beautiful and the staff are top notch and clearly care.

Great place to see the skyline of Dallas! Your able to park and go right on up. There's also a bar and a seating area

There's no swimming pool. Valet staff and bartenders are very friendly. Rooms are modern, clean, and nicely decorated. Front desk staff are a bit rude. They don't have managers on site on weekends, nor a way to communicate with them in case of an emergency, at least that's what they told us. In my experience, front desk people would at least tell you that they would try to communicate with someone to see if our issue could be resolved. But in this case, we just got a reluctant NO from the front desk person. Though, our issue was resolved the same night... we opted to leave the hotel the next morning.

By far the best view in Dallas. The service is subpar and so are the drinks but the ambiance and the view of the city is the best it gets IMO. The atmosphere is very cool and relaxed.
