My brother rented this venue for my niece's college grad party in the last week of December, 2023. Before then, I'd never heard of this place but I'm not a local so that's to be expected.Tucked into a small strip mall-like storefront, this place is great if you're looking for a more intimate spot. I'm told it functions as a nightclub primarily, but is rentable for private parties, such as ours was.It isn't much to look at on the exterior, but the interior is well-appointed; a lot of dark woods with gold accented fixtures, it looks relatively new and it was very clean - my experiences with nightclubs tend toward 'good at 10 feet' but any closer and you can see the dirt and rundown. Not so, here.The staff were all very courteous and professional; my brother sprang for an open bar so we had bartenders who were very good at their job (and really easy on the eyes too). The catering was done by a local celeb chef, though I can't recall his name - the food was good on the whole, and there was no lack of it.All in all, we had a really good time, and if I were looking for a venue for another party in Dallas, I'd definitely consider this place. They offer valet parking as well.

Was very skeptic on coming here from reading other reviews on yelp and google, however, I am so happy the guys and I did! We had the time of our lives at Candleroom. The security upfront were really friendly and nice and greeted us in to the table. We had a very good location too in the middle. Came here to celebrate my brother's birthday and it was definitely poppin on a Wednesday night. We did arrive close to 11pm and it was not packed at all but a good amount of people. Around midnight it does get packed especially on a weekday. Bottle service is the choice to go with. They take care of you and the ratio at this place are good. Everyone is so friendly and we made new friends. Music is house mix with hip hop. Would for sure come back here again!

Had an amazing time last night with friends! It was "International Night" so the music was 10/10.Women get in free until 12am and men pay $15. Most people in the club were dressed very nice, they have a dress code, but it is not too strict (a couple of our people were wearing sneakers and hats and it was no problem). Service was quick, and bartenders were very kind! Will definitely be back.

If I could give negative stars I would. The guy pictured below was extremely disrespectful he deserves to be fired. Apparently this place is his club..not sure why as an owner you'd be standing outside as a door man asking people who purchased a table why their was so much "Dick" at their table... idk maybe because we are celebrating a Bday and we bought a table and we had 4 guys and 2 women. Then he had the audacity to say "Is Pussy paying for this table?" Disgusting human being. That's not how you talk to people. Someone from staff please contact me. I will gladly share my video if corrective action is taken. Dude was on a power trip over compensating for something small clearly but still no way to talk to anyone. He told a women who was asking for recommendations on food nearby to "fuck off." Never buying a table here ever again. I could see if we did something to the guy but he just had a terrible attitude and a disgusting mouth.

From Sneakers to Stilettos! For 20+ years Candleroom bar has been welcoming those craving upbeat entertainment, from diverse demographics, offering different genres of music throughout their week. Similar to many clubs/lounges in Dallas, Miami Vibes are now promoted, complete with flared bottle service, and LED Presenter Signs. Although the layout, nor design offer anything awe inspiring, Candleroom Dallas maintain's a certain level of nightlife charm. Never a fan of armless banquette, or bench like seating that encourage squatting on their backs, nor non-clearly defined reserved areas, especially when little common area is available for partiers. I am however a huge fan of bartenders such as Whitney, who have years with an establishment, share their history, and make you feel right at home. Because sharing is caring, I'll share this partier beware; because of aforementioned design details, it's incredibly important to have well trained, and respectful security. Candleroom Dallas absolutely has some work to do in this area, and recognize there are reasons patrons grace your doors, or not! Xoxo Lorenzo!

It was OK. If I could do 3.5 stars instead of three I would but not four. Don't go before 11 or 11:30 or you'll be the only ones there. We got there about 10:45 and there was maybe 10-15 people. Not a big area so it does fill up quickly. Only real complaint was they played tejano music nearly non stop. Actually several people around us commented on that too. Come on DJ....change it up a bit. The group we were with had bottle service so our server was great but can't speak for getting a drink at the bar and the service that goes with it.

The greatest getaway you could ask for.Kind of similar with the Marquee Club was in England for anybody looking for a fun night out on the town. As the Rolling Stones would say, it's definitely the Midnight Rambler..,

I visited Candleroom for the first time on a Wednesday night. They have a cute photo booth station. At the photo booth you can take as many photos as you like and send them to yourself. The DJ was very good and played mostly hip-hop music. We had a section so I wasn't too concerned with what was going on outside of my section. I left my purse at the club and I retrieved it two days later with everything inside of it. I had a Saint Laurent (YSL) clutch with car keys, drivers license, house keys, and money. Management was extremely professional and courteous when I reached out regarding my purse. They told me their staff is honest. This makes me feel extremely comfortable.

Candleroom was a pleasant surprise... came out on a whim with my bro and sis that were in town.. and it was nice and quaint... the DJ was the bomb... didn't try any drinks because we were already tipsy... unsure about food but the club vibe was pretty spot on

This place is extremely RACIST! If you are a person of color, DO NOT go here! The crowd there does not like us in there. I went last night (Saturday) and got called slurs several times in the 5 mins I was there. Not only that, people would make disgusting comments like "there's a whole herd of them here (my Latino friends and I)" or "I thought Trump got rid of them already". This is unacceptable and would not recommend this to any Hispanic or person of color. Wouldn't even feel safe taking a drink from here!
