As a third generation Dallasite I know it's wrong to say this but here it goes:Campisis is bad. If the place was a new joint opening with a different name but the same food they wouldn't last 6 months (probably why they only lasted that long in Lubbock as they didn't have their legacy there). I'm convinced us Dallas natives go for the nostalgia alone. The food quality and taste is inconsistent. The Alfredo sauce is bitter (and it's the same at Mockingbird too). The quality is meh and it's expensive for meh quality. The pizza was sliced way too big and had way too much sauce. This location night be the worst but Campbell and Mockingbird have the same issues. Will I be back? Probably. Will I be back to West Plano? Doubtful.

Disaster. Walked in at 6pm. Restaurant was less than half full. Told to seat ourselves which is fine. Sat for 5 mins and no one came around. Another patron dropped a menu at our table as I suspect they had been sitting a while and took it upon themselves. Sat for another 10 mins. Nothing. Left the restaurant. Ordered Campisis on uber eats and it arrived 5 mins after we got home. I don't mind waiting, particularly if they are short staffed, but they should be upfront about it. Rather "sure pick a table". How about "pick a table but to let you know we're short staffed and wait times are going to be longer than normal. You'll get better service ordering through uber eats". Better to be up front vs us finding out for ourselves.

Simply the best Italian and Siciliano food in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with several locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area. The wood fired earthen pizza oven make up a hearty meal, with bottles of wine are available during your meal.Cheers,Mark F.

Came here for lunch while making office calls in Dallas. Came in and was immediately greeted and sat at the bar. Got the lunch lasagna and some of their fancy spiced garlic bread, and a salad. Overall it was pretty good. Was dead quiet, but that's okay it's lunch. The food was pretty good, wasn't a fan of the bread but different strokes for different folks. Would come back if I was in the neighborhood.

We've visited here three times, and the best I can say is that the food is consistent. It's neither great nor lousy. The pizza is quite good with plenty of toppings and a crust that iscrispy and chewy all at once. It's a nice change on a thin crust. On this visit, we tried the "Randy White" ravioli. I suspect they use frozen ravioli, as once toasted, the edges are very, very tough. We experienced the same phenomenon with the regular toasted ravioli. After experiencing the original toasted ravioli, in St. Louis, it's hard to rate this very high. The sausage & peppers app (we ordered it as one of our meals, was plentiful, at least as far as the sausage was concerned. Had it been my meal, I'd have knocked it down a notch for under-cooked peppers. That's my taste, of course, but it was not for me. The sausage itself was flavorful yet slightly dry.Given all that, we were not disappointed, but not enamored on any of our visits. The dining room is so dark, you'd expect Al Capone to be sitting in a corner. Our server on our last visit was...odd. He spoke very quickly and at a relatively high volume, but he had difficulty listening, or better said, understanding, our order. He was friendly enough. I have to say, though, that his accent seemed to be sliding between affectations. I'll leave it there. His pace was oddly unsettling - he tended to make some visits back-to-back while other times he was...absent. Again, he was not bad but also not great. We will return, of course, but it's not our first choice for pizza or Italian.

The one star goes to the waiter! Good service but some of the worst Italian food I have had. Wish I could say better things, but this place was not it. We tried multiple dishes and they all were bland. We had the garlic toast ( soggy), calamari which tasted like all breading, chicken parm, vodka pasta, and chicken scampi.

Pizza, salad and tiramisu were all outstanding! Picking it up was a cluster. Disorganized and bordering on rude. Normally not that way.

Ordered via DoorDash. Ordered was half wrong. I called the restaurant directly and was told it was their fault but they couldn't address the matter. I contacted DoorDash who provided a credit for me to reorder. The food came quick but was not good. Penne chicken with their special butter sauce but it was definitely just olive oil and garlic. No flavor at all. I have a lot of nostalgia for campisi's of old on mockingbird but this is just terrible food and service. Won't be back.

2025 we had 10 people and the whole place was packed. Good thing we had reservations. Saturday after New Years. Food was excellent and service spot on. The thin crust pizza is my favorite. Toppings are extra. This is one of our family's fave places to dine out at.
