Cajun Bay Seafood & Bar

This was my initial, but certainly not my final, DoorDash order from this establishment. I placed an order for the catfish basket, which includes four fillets and a choice of one side. I selected French fries, which also came with two hushpuppies.Upon arrival, my food was exceptionally hot, and the Dasher arrived seven minutes ahead of the estimated delivery time. The fish was well-seasoned and flaky, while the fries were crispy. I have no complaints about the quality of the food.The packaging was also noteworthy. The food arrived in an attractive red and black shopping bag, and the container holding the food resembled a takeout container for Japanese cuisine.I highly recommend this restaurant to seafood enthusiasts. I will certainly be reviewing their menu again in the near future to place another order.

Near to my house; went kinda nuts ordering to-go maybe 4 times in the past 2 months because hey! Forney does NOT have many seafood options. Tried the steamed oysters for the first time with the "house" blend (the same one I always get with my choose-your-own boil in a bag) lotttsss of gahlic, mild kick of spice, great "cajun" flavor. Sadly the door dash menu needs to be FIXED because it forces you to choose the 12 piece (dozen oysters) option but theres an error in pricing. It charged you DOUBLE the price- so if I want half-dozen it should be $12 or so I forget exactly, but the radial button you would choose to select forces you to choose 12 and it shows as the price of what 24 oysters would actually be. The only way around this is a phone call pick up order. So I have been meaning to call them and inform them but I AM HOPING they simply read this and fix it. Anyhoo; love the sweet potato waffle fries; when I order my boil its usually 1lb shrimp (head on! IYKYK) with .5 lb clams, or black mussles (for some reason green mussels are more dry). Comes with come red potatoes and a half cob of corn. SometimesI add an egg, sometimes extra corn. Always so good! We have also dined in a few times and it's always been laid back, nice atmosphere,Friendly prompt service and coldBeer and for that we thank you! :)

The waitress was pleasant and very honest about the menu and what she had tried. I definitely appreciated that. Even with that I don't think I need to try this place again. Overall the food just lacked flavor.

This place is so good and 8 minutes from my house. I love coming here. Recommend the fried rice

We finally tried this place out. What a cute nautical environment. Great service and loved all the options. I got the shrimp boil, cajun cajun, which was great. He got the catfish and loved it. We also sampled thr stuffed jalepeno and the crab Rangoon. Both great! We will be back. Even nicer... hubby once again left his stuff on the table and they ran way out into the lot to get it back to us.

We came here during dinner on a Thursday night. We ordered the Thursday special which had1. Crab claws2. Sausage3. Corn4. PotatoWe also got the scallop ramen, Crab fried rice and shrimp fried rice and the calamari and broccoli. Even though they did mess up on our order, our server was very kind to make things right like when they mixed up the sausage in the meat and they gave us extra as my brother's family does not eat red meat. Food overall was good and enjoyed the sauce as they do load it up quite a bit. There were other stuff we wanted to try like alligator and raw oysters, but my brothers family do not like that kind of stuff. But my wife and I shall go another time.

The food was good. Restaurant appeared clean and the people were friendly. We got it to go and food was hot and ready upon arrival.

We came for a graduation celebration. And they had an area set up just for huge parties like ours. I like that we can all be in one room. The place is beautifully decorated and was very clean. This place is definitely good for huge parties.The food was amazing. If you've ever been to a seafood boil type restaurant, this is just like that. But they serve other items than seafood: like fries, onion rings, fried rice, chicken, etc. The oysters were delicious, they tasted fresh! Of course I ordered the seafood boil (crab, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn) I couldn't get enough of it!I also had a taste of their fried rice, OMG it was one of the best fried rice I've ever tasted! It was seasoned well and the rice was cooked perfectly. Service was great! Our server was quick. The food came right away and it was nice and hot! I love that they did separate checks!!!

LOOOVED everything we had! It was Cajun meets Asian infused food! Delish!!! The firecracker shrimp was the best! Got it as an appetizer and will get it for a meal next time! I don't want to share! The boil was delish! We live super spicy so it could have been hotter but the flavor was a chef's kiss!! Oysters on the half shell and steamed oysters (I call them grilled). Staff was very knowledgeable and fun!

Was hesitant to try based on previous comments but, I'm glad we tried it! Ordered gumbo, which was not watered down but was one of the best we've had in DFW! Also ordered a boil bag with the house seasoning and it was great! Would have been a full 5 but my added lobster was missing from the original steam bag and had to be served seperate. Plus an extra corn n potato (they are small), would have gotten an extra star.Clean place and service was great!We will be back soon!
