Cafe Max

We loooove Cafe Max. The staff is always so friendly and kind. I love how when their restaurant part isn't open they have a separate area to just order food and go. Their food and portions never disappoint. My 3 year old requested the Caesar and fruit and he looooved it! My husband and I always get the chicken and pasta. It tastes SO good together and you would never expect apples and pecans to go with chicken but omg. My favorite. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is for the to go container..it was so flimsy the food fell in the bag hence the messy look in the picture with the salad trio. But I so appreciate how much food she gave because it became 2-3 meals easily. Will be back as always!

Food was delicious and served in generous portions, just like advertised on their yelp site. Very friendly people serving the food. Casual dining in their cafe. Holiday music was playing in the background, and it was at the perfect low volume that didn't interfere with conversations. A real hidden gem.

Very basic restaurant with the most amazing caesar salad.I stopped by for the first time this week after hearing of their salads. I got a container full of 1/2 caesar and 1/2 pasta salad. While the pasta salad wasn't my favorite, the caesar was absolutely the best i've heard. Perfectly dressed and the right amount of garlic.

I was in the area for lunch time and didn't know what to eat. I was looking around and saw the reviews and thought ok the place doesn't really scream I'm here but everyone seems to like it so I gave it a chance. It was great. Menu was simple which I appreciate. I had the sea food / cucumber and tomato salad & the Caesar salad. The portion was giant. All the food was flavorful. The staff was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back for more!

Favorite lunch spot. The staff is friendly and the servings are generous. I got the salad trio, and can seriously eat off it for three meals. My favorites are the seafood salad and Caesar salad. Highly recommend!

I liked the cucumber salad and Caesar salad enough to visit a second time. The second time, the lady finished ringing me up, and just went to wipe down tables. I looked around a bit to realize what happened and then reached over the counter to grab my food and leave. I just greeted the gentleman and the lady and ordered my food. I wonder what I did to offend her. Too bad. I live near the place, but there are plenty of other good places that appreciate my business.

Love Cafe Max! So good. So disappointed i can't get a 3rd party to deliver to my houses. Broken leg & can't drive & it's all i can think about! PLEASE partner with a 3rd party home delivery service for individual orders!!!!

Cafe Max is still holding it down after all these years. Quality and flavor has never wavered. I have been coming to Cafe Max for nearly 10 years now and have never once had a bad experience. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. They will even let you try one of the salads to make sure you are getting what you like! I usually stick to the salad trio, the portions are HUGE and consistent. If you want to try a bit of everything then i would go for the Salad Sampler that way you can get a taste of all of the salads and pick your favorites for next time. They offer a daily soup as well, you can check their website to see what they are serving for the day. Cafe Max offers catering and to go orders, they have recently re-opened their dining room after being closed for quite some time due to covid. They are only open during lunch hours and no longer offer any later pick ups so make sure to get their before 3pm or you will be missing out! Cafe max is a quaint lunch spot offering cafeteria/cafe vibes. It is quiet and a great spot to get a quick bite.

Salads are consistent and the portions are huge. I typically get a duo or trio and it lasts 2-3 meals, easily. My favorites are the pasta, chicken, caesar, and cucumber salads. I don't like seafood but I hear it's also amazing.

If you like salad...more salad than you can possibly eat...and you haven't been here, your life is incomplete. I was originally introduced to Cafe Max many years ago when I worked in Richardson. If there are better salads anywhere, I haven't had them. I don't know anyone who has ever been here who says that someone else has a better version. The salads are that good. It's takeout only, and the hours are limited. So go now and go hungry. You're welcome!
