Amigo K. "I was here for Grand Opening almost 5 years, and knew back then that Standard Service had all the potential to become a destination dining experience. The outdoor receation features, and the firepit seating, and outdoor stage with a large screen for media display such as pro sports sets Standard Service apart from most other facilities. Whether you need to relax, or want to play with your kids on the pickle ball courts, the expansive outdoor area has a place for you & your crew. Indoor main dining area has comfortable seating in a variety of styles. Reservations are strongly suggested for big groups which Standard Service can handle. The sportsbar, I was hoping it would expand in size, but I'm not owner. Still, it is a nice bar, and seats fill-up quickly. There are 2 other locations, 1 in downtown Dallas, TX and then northwest of DFW Airport in the toney Trophy Club area. The staff is warm & welcoming, Jessica was very kind & helpful as our Octogenarian guest was here for their first time. The menu has leaned back to casual dishes, more like refined bar food, with some healthier salads.Online, I had spotted Beef Stroganoff, so that was my target dish I wanted to try. Wow, this was a generous serving that 2 persons could split. Very beefy, with only a few large slices of mushroom, and white onion slices softened to an easy bite.Noodles cooked properly, with a nice sauce that was flavorful, yet mellow. I might have licked the bowl, in my younger years. The sweet potato fries, skinny like shoestrings, were very good, but lost their warmth in 2 minutes. Do the NFL 2 minute drill, no timeouts, chug these down. The Chicken Fajitas (2) were large and tasty. The 3-piece fried cod plate was also some good eating.Happy bellies, but we skipped the pickle ball game, too full. If I had brought a different crew, probably a beer outside in the adirondack chairs, then light the firepit after sunset. One of a kind dining & relaxing spot, with plenty of outdoor space!"

We opted for patio seating since it was such a nice night. To start we decided to share the Kale salad which consists of Arugula. Kale, radicchio, apples, goat cheese. Chili pecans, pickled red onion, craisons, and topped with pomegranate balsamic vinegar. The salad was light and refreshing and a perfect size to share. We also ordered the Mac n cheese and for an entree the braised short ribs|Demi glaze|garlic whipped potatoes and brocolini. The short ribs were amazing so tender and flavorful, I can't wait to go back and order this again. To end the night on a sweet note we decided on the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream."

David S. "A buddy of mine recommended coming here for the chicken fried steak, so the wife and I made it out this past Saturday to grab lunch. We always like grabbing an appetizer or two just to try things out. We love deviled eggs so we gave theirs a try. They were delicious!! We also had the Chili Lime Shrimp and let me tell you, that the shrimp were perfectly cooked and the sauce they had these guys setting on had a nice spice kick to them. I highly recommend them. Both appetizers came with thinly sliced jalapenos, this is Texas so yeah, we put jalapenos on everything. ;-)The ambiance is pretty cool. It feels wide open but yet if you get a booth, the walls are high enough to keep your table private. I will say this, I can see this place getting loud. We were greeted with a smile and immediately sat down. We also had a great waitress that was just super friendly and was very attentive. We will be back and for those drinks that I saw on the cocktail menu."

First of all I have a disability and sometimes at the end of a long day I can't even walk. When I tell you after getting my groceries from CENTRAL MARKET, this was just the case. I randomly called Pizzeria Testa pizza place because it was on our way to drive back home. I can't believe Ive frequented so many pizza places in the area; but this was a place I've never been to or heard of before. From the time we pulled up the convenient roundabout in front of the door, to them bringing the pizza out to us to us, eating it in the car was convenient and helpful. It was so hot, that some of the cheese had slid off; and here I was driving down the street in the dark, eating crust and sauce. And it was STILL the best pizza I've ever had, and I consider myself a pizzaologist (one who specializes in pizza). I am originally from Erie, Pennsylvania. We have a "Little Italy" Community. We are home to, "the pepperoni ball," so I've had some great Italian Mom & Pop experiences growing up. This was special; this tastes like Italy. The sauce, was like no other. I can't wait to go back!"

Lots of video screens showing the games. We grabbed a table and people watched! The regulars were having a wonderful time! I even saw regulars from other establishments I frequent! We had an appetizer (Jersey Sliders) and then ordered a couple of pizzas. Service and speed was really good, but keep in mind, it wasn't crowded at that point. Our food was exceptionally good. The sliders were OUTSTANDING! The pizzas were the stars of the night. They had the right amount of ingredients and were baked long enough to burst some of the veggies on top and melt the cheese. The crust was perfectly baked and a good flavor. As we were finishing paying our check the crowd had quadrupled and the place was packed with many obvious regulars by the way they all were getting along."

One of my favorite stories to tell people is that the first day my wife and I moved to Dallas from California, a rep from Peticolas let me try some velvet hammer for free and take it home... and this was in the before times when you could only get beer home in a growler! So for someone just out of college and just getting their start in a hot hot apartment, having a growler of velvet hammer and no furniture but making it work is a very special special memory to me. I go out of my way to get their beer whenever I can, especially at Torchys!I've run their 5K twice, and it's a super fun event with an excellent vibe and excellent swag.I had the honor of meeting the founder at an event at Alamo Drafthouse, and getting to tell him my story and he seems like a totally great dude!If you haven't gotten to come here and watch a soccer game yet, add that to your Dallas bucket list!"

Jess F. "We visited Culpepper for the Fajita Friday special advertised on social media, we stopped in around 11:30am. Seated after a few minute wait and we were greeted by our server promptly with fresh tortillas and butter. We each ordered the fajita specials to try, one beef and one chicken both with flour tortillas (no substitutions or changes). Our fajita orders arrived within 1-2 minutes after ordering and overall was just okay. Portion sizes were small and the plates contained mostly onion no peppers; served with a small side of rice, beans, cheese and toppings. Flavor wise the food was bland, however the chicken had more flavor than the beef. We were hopeful based on the fajita advertising on social media, but not as impressed as we'd hoped. We might give another shot and return to try Happy Hour and other menu options, we hear there are live music nights."

I felt like I was in a magical forest.-The area is about a 50 minute drive from Dallas so the location isn't too far out in the middle of nowhere and it still has a beautiful vibes of nature.-The indoor venue is a cozy ,comfortable and was well ventilated with air conditioning. Cons-This location is that it's not made for big weddings. Any more than 200 people than it would have crowded in my opinion. -The parking and roads into the wedding venue is composed of rocks and gravel. Ladies need to be careful when wearing high heels and dress shoes to the venue. -There's wasp and bees at the venue.
