"We came to visit Dallas a few months ago and saw Dos Tacos. My husband kept mentioning we should try it. Let me start by saying don't be fooled or even a little nervous to try it out because it's attached to a car wash/gas station. It is very clean and I love the outside patio if you decide to eat your food there. We both ordered taco platters I did the classic and he got the loaded. My tacos were al pastor and it was okay there was something missing. My husband enjoyed his taco but didn't wow over them lol Here's why I'm giving them a 4 is because we also ordered quesadillas and they were delicious. I got the spicy chicken and my husband ordered the steak. The quesadillas were a good size and had a lot of the chicken & steak throughout every bite. I love quesadillas but sometimes feel like the protein is lacking not the case here. If you're in the area give them a try"

"It's been a long time since I'd been here and I was glad to see the food and service were as good as always. Since I was there last (but probably not recently) they enlarged and enclosed the front patio...very nice space! The inside dining area is a good size and cozy. It's easy to carry on a conversation even when it's busy. I had the brisket enchiladas for lunch. The tortillas are dipped in a guajillo sauce that has a really good kick. Not overwhelming, just really good. Even a wimpy palate like mine can handle (and appreciate!) it. The enchiladas are filled with mashed potatoes and topped with brisket, onions and mushrooms. The brisket is flavorful, tender and juicy and you get a good portion. All of this sits on a nice poblano sauce. This is soooooo good and very filling. Definitely not your traditional Tex Mex!"

"I was in town and meeting up with the cousins who frequent Sueno. I was pleasantly surprised by the setting and immediate service. Each server was so happy to be of assistance and made excellent suggestions. I had the shrimp tacos and also tried a birria taco. Both were really great and full of flavor. The highlights were the chips and salsa and churros. I've never had such delicious churros. Don't miss them. They also do a smoking Old Fashion that is impressive. If you're with an Old Fashion lover, get it just for the show!Also Christian came by at the end and was awesome!"

"This was my first time coming here today. Been wanting to check this place out for a while. SO glad I did! First and foremost, the staff were amazing and so very nice! The lengua tacos are the best I have tried in this town so far!! Lots of meat and it's cut in chunks rather than shredded. It does make a difference if you ask me. I love the salsa bar that offers many different types of salsa and garnishes. The elote is really good as well. Lastly, the horchata is delicious! I will be back for sure!"

The core of what they do is great in so many ways: tamales are pure Americana, a cuisine that goes back for thousands of years in the region. They are well suited to the modern world, and people with special dietary needs will find vegan tamales and no gluten. And it's fast, convenient food; mine were heated up in minutes.Ordering a platter with four tamales, I got two of the vegan ones with black beans and two bean and cheese. I could hardly tell the difference between the two, but they were certainly delicious, especially with salsa. More beans and rice on the side made for a filling meal, and at around $10, it's as good of a deal as you're likely to get.The one caveat is that they are not open particularly late, and from what I heard, online ordering closes an hour before close of business. So plan ahead, and head on over."

"We were hungry but not in the mood to go out. Checked my trusty Uber eats and we decided to give this place a try after passing by multiple times in the last year (it's very close to home). Food was fresh and amazing. We shared a beef quesadilla, the flautas with queso and a chicken/beef fajita. Plenty of leftovers and the beans were silky and yummy. Guacamole and tortillas are always important to me and Fajita Pete's did not disappoint. Don't be turned off by the strip mail ambience, we would definitely order again! Prices are a tad high as others have mentioned, but the food and convenience and speed of delivery made it all worth it."

"Ixtapa Bay Mariscos... To start off the place wasn't difficult to find. Parking is on their lot and spacious. My boyfriend, and three friends of mine went on a Monday, it was everyones first time. The place wasn't crowded at all. We entered and we were the only customers their, it took a while until someone came to sit us down but no biggie. We all ordered our drinks and the drinks came out pretty fast, we had chips and salsa to snack on while we waited for our food. I ordered a small shrimp cocktail that cost $8.49 and my boyfriend ordered a chimichanga plate for $7.95. (We all agreed our food tasted good) All in all the the customer service was good and the place was nice and clean."

"Loved the food, service and decor. It isn't one of those places that look nice but lacks in service or food. It had both. My waiter was great very quick but I also came during a non peak time so I can't speak to how quick they are during a rush. The ambiance is super cute. Low led lighting. Photo board. Size wise it's on the quaintish side. I can see how it could get crowded and I'm not sure if it could hosts a party but maybe against the wall seating. For the city of sunny vale and it's surrounding residents, it definitely a good addition to the city. The fish was good as well. It had a kick to it which I wasn't expecting but I likely didn't read the menu close enough. Still tasty. Definitely would come again"

"We were visiting TX from FL and had a very early flight home so decided to stay in Dallas the night before. We were having dinner with friends in Richardson and while looking at places to eat the food sounded great. Our friends had never eaten here, so we decided to try it. We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The waiter took drink orders and brought chips immediately. Their salsa and another dip they served were excellent. When looking at reviews I noticed that if you check in, you also received a free queso. The menu has a great selection and the food was exceptional. The presentation and quality were top notch Tex-Mex. The margaritas were fabulous and the only negative was they couldn't make mojitos--which were on the menu. Our waiter couldn't explain why, but the house sangria hit the spot. It's easy access and has plenty of parking. Definitely something to try if you live in the area and haven't or are visiting."

"I really wanted to like Crazy King but they just missed the mark slightly for me. The restaurant is cute and clean. The workers are nice and greet everyone as soon as they walk in the door. The menu is pretty straight forward, they have their standard burritos (that can also be bowls) and there aren't too many changes/substitutions that can be made. Some of the burritos come in a small/medium size and there are a couple that only come in King sized. I ordered the Crispy Cali Burrito because it was one of the few items that only came with chicken - also, it's only available King size which I was hesitant to get but I thought I was going to like the flavor profile. My date got the asada, also king size. We also ordered the hot bean dip....because who doesn't like a hot bean lol Listen, the star of the show is the hot bean dip! The queso on top is the *chefs kiss* that had us scraping the pot trying to eat every corner lol The burritos were massive, as expected with "king size" with a perfectly grilled tortilla....I cut mine in half and tackled it that way. I ended up only eating half because 1) it was massive but 2) I really wasn't a fan of the flavor profile. I'm not sure if it was the potato/ranch or something else but each bite there was something that I didn't like. I saw they had churros on the menu so I was excited (churros are my favorite) - so I ordered one to share (my date never had a churro and wasn't sure if he would like it)...I'm glad I only ordered one because the churro was meh. Unfortunately, Crazy King Burrito, the best thing you had for me was hot bean dip....crazy!"

We really enjoyed Jalepeno's (restaurant name before new management) and we love Noel who has worked there for years, BUT the quality of the food has just fallen through the floor. I ordered a steak fajita quesadilla and it came our drenced in grease. I was just shocked, and I added a picture for context. My wife ordered the Chicken fajitas and they came out dry and tasteless. I attempted to eat part of the quesadilla but it made me sick at my stomach and did not even make it home before I had to RUSH to a bathroom (thanks Tom Thumb) I asked to speak to a manager and the waiter said there wasnt anything he could do, didnt offer to make anything else or to take it off the ticket so we will not be going back. As I sit here thinking about it, I am feeling Nauseous. I gave it two stars because the staff there truly is very nice but the food is now just isnt good."

Was even better when we added lime!Hubby had Pacifico and I had a skinny margarita, which was tasty and boy did I NOT NEED ANOTHER. The food was delicious (highly recommend the top shelf Margarita and Angelina's Fajita nachos) we had simply outstanding service with Julian who was patient with our unruly terriers pictured below and anticipated our needs before we even realized them (bringing separate water dishes for both of our dogs, split our enchilada dinner completely without being asked or without a split charge, etc ). The salsa, pico and guac were so authentic and flavorful and we couldn't believe how affordable the prices were when we got the bill. We will be back and often, perfect detour when doing an evening stroll on the colony shoreline trail!"

"This is going to be my new favorite taco spot in Addison. When we entered into the establishment, we were instantly greeted by what seemed to be the owners of the taco kitchen. They were pleasant and extremely friendly. We gazed through the menu and they let us know they were actually in the process of adding salmon jerk tacos, and told us that it was a customer favorite. They did NOT lie, I ordered those tacos and instantly fell in love.It's salmon seasoned in jerk seasonings on a corn tortilla topped with a mango salsa. Idk where the heat comes from (salsa or salmon) but honey, I almost broke a sweat in that their restaurant from the spice. However I LOVED it, it was full of flavor & I already cannot wait to go back (as well as try to make some at home lol). They also provided a complimentary margarita which was also tasty. We also started with the queso and cheese which was also good. "Alright so, Booger Red's is "named in honor of the legendary Texas bronc-busting champion Samuel Thomas Privett (1858-1926)." But I still don't know WHY it's called "Booger Red's" specifically.. I guess that was Samuel TP's nickname? But why? Let me go google... Okay I'm back and I sort of regret looking further into this. The story of Booger Red is tragic! What the heck... So Sammy TP was called Red since he was a child because he had red hair. Got that half of his nickname out of the way. He was the greatest "bronco breaker" (poor wild horses) of all time and he's credited with originating the modern day rodeo (ugh not a fan) -- anyway, he advertised himself thusly: "Come and see him ride, the ugliest man dead or alive, Booger Red!" Why was he so ugly, you ask? Because as children of confederate soldiers often did, 12 year old Sammy and his bff were playing with gunpowder on Christmas Day, stuffing a dead tree with it to make fireworks. Sadly the gunpowder exploded early, throwing Sammy 20 feet through the air and killing his poor friend! Sammy lived, but he was gravely injured in the explosion. Legend has it (honestly I've no idea how accurate this story is, so legend has it) that a neighbor kid saw Sammy being carried to the hospital, took one look at his mutilated little face and cried out, "gee, but Red sure is boogered up now!" And apparently "boogered" is an adjective meaning crippled, maimed, or disfigured. Who knew? So poor Sammy was blind in the hospital for six months and while he fully recovered, he was very very disfigured. He basically had no more eyes, nose, or mouth, just little holes.... He was described as looking like "a pumpkin with bullet holes for eyes." So sad! Why did this have to happen?!Anyway, Sammy's family would tease him and call him "Booger Red" after that one rude neighbor kid started it.. I guess the nickname made Sammy laugh, so there you have it. This saloon is named after him! He never stopped breaking broncos and went on to become super famous for it.Booger Red's is right between H3 Ranch and The Stockyards Hotel. It's a long and narrow saloon lined with an enormous bar and giant stools, and some of the stools are saddles. Fun. This saloon is probably the most classic looking and feeling "Wild West saloon" in the stockyards district. It's thoroughly decked out in all things cowboy from the floors to the wall-mounted animals to the paintings of dance hall girls to the vintage pulley fan system lazily circulating air far above your hat hook.Behind the bar is an enormous mounted buffalo butt... lucky for you I'll give you the short story this time: the Hunter brothers (restaurant next door) hunted buffalo and said the only thing that got them through those long hot days of looking at buffalo butts was an ice cold beer. And that's that! Booger Red's is famous for its Buffalo Butt Beer which is crafted in small batches and always served in a bottle, in an ice bucket. You gotta try it at least once. And of course you can order food from H3 Ranch's menu; ribs, steaks, nachos, spit-roasted pig, fried catfish, lots more. It's fun here. It feels like you're on a the set of a western, so just lean into it and spend some time bar-side with your boots up."
