We hoped to grab some good Tex-Mex food while in town and Pepe's & Mito's had pretty good reviews so we headed there. We had no trouble getting a table and the staff was friendly and attentive. Lucky us, we happened to be there during happy hour! I had the house margarita on the rocks while hubby had a frozen strawberry margarita. At $5 each, they were a good deal while also being strong and tasty! They brought out warm chips with good salsa while we looked over the menu. I ended up getting a "House Speciality" item - Shrimp Enchiladas, which are served with rice, beans, and salad. At $18.95, I felt they were a tad pricey. But my husband had some of mine because he only ordered a Tortilla Soup. We would come back here again, especially during Happy Hour!"

The brisket enchiladas are outstanding, but the carne asada is even better.On our second visit, we went for brunch and were not disappointed. The breakfast quesadilla was massive and absolutely delicious. I had Agustin's enchiladas with mole sauce and steak, which were perfectly balanced. We capped it all off with churros that were the ideal sweet finish.The all-day happy hour is a huge bonus, and their house margaritas are on point. The portions were perfect and the service was great and prompt despite coming here an hour before closing. Their salsas are tasty and they give you separate salsas per person which I liked. They also have chunk green salsa as well if you ask! We also ordered small guacamole which was sub par and they can work on the presentation. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here but it's a solid choice for your local tex Mex dining."

I would say the food pricing is on the higher side ($20-30 per entree), but the serving sizes were large, so I wasn't too upset. I tried the brisket tacos and I unfortunately thought the meat was pretty dry. It was okay with the avocado and salsa, but the sides of beans and rice were also pretty lackluster. Definitely wouldn't come back for a meal.Here's what I did like though: the service was incredibly attentive and friendly, plus we constantly had a basket of chips at the table. That's honestly what kept this review from dropping to 2 stars. Their complimentary salsas were solid and the queso was actually incredibly delicious. The drinks here are boozy and they claim to be the inventors of the frozen marg. I did try the Frozen Strawberry Mango and it was sweet, but strong aka dangerous. Overall, I would recommend coming here with a group during happy hour and enjoying the nachos to share."

For group dining, Los Jimadores has a wonderful private dining room that is very spacious and can accommodate a large group.Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and escorted to our dining room. Our servers immediately started taking drink and appetizer orders for our group. Hot baskets of chips, salsa and a wonderful bear dip were placed strategically around our tables. Chips were filled frequently so we never lacked for anything. By the way, the chips were fried to perfection with no greasy feel to them. I loved their salsa and the After our group got settled in with drinks and munchies, our servers, with military precision, to take our orders in an "orderly" way. My wife loves quesadillas, so she ordered a half of chicken quesadillas, perfect portion for her, and I ordered the La Bandera Platter, I was hungry. It consisted of a cheese enchilada topped with green sauce, chicken enchilada topped with sour cream sauce and a beef enchilada topped with chile con carne sauce. The three enchiladas were served with rice and beans. I probably ordered too much, but oh well, the platter sounded so good.After a short wait, a barrage of servers converged on private room with all of our entrees. It was amazing, each entree was delivered efficiently to the correct individual. Margaritas were refreshed, we were all ready to dig in. My wife loved her chicken quesadillas. My La Bandera platter was SO delicious, the three types of enchiladas each stood on their own deliciousness. I loved the variety of the enchiladas. Los Jimadores rice and bean which accompanied the enchiladas were so flavorful.I ended our wonderful gathering by trying Las Jimadores' flan. Oh my goodness it was one of the most awesome flans I've had in a very long time. My wife and I can't wait to return on our own to explore more items on the menu, plus try a flight of tequilas. Thank you Los Jimadores for a wonderful experience."

We were warmly greeted and seated immediately. The waiter took drink orders and brought chips immediately. Their salsa and another dip they served were excellent. When looking at reviews I noticed that if you check in, you also received a free queso. The menu has a great selection and the food was exceptional. The presentation and quality were top notch Tex-Mex. The margaritas were fabulous and the only negative was they couldn't make mojitos--which were on the menu. Our waiter couldn't explain why, but the house sangria hit the spot. It's easy access and has plenty of parking. Definitely something to try if you live in the area and haven't or are visiting."

Okie Bill for breakfast for 2 came to about $35. My only negative point is the difficulty with the menu if you're vegetarian. I got breakfast tacos with papas and the botana with hongos/mushrooms. "This place is unique for sure. It's local owned, decorated from the bottom to the top (sometimes in controversial political statements). The inside itself is pretty small with very few tables and a bar. We went on a Friday night for dinner - ordered a couple drinks and plates. It was our first time here and I want to say either the owner or manager definitely made an impression. They must of known my family likes their drinks strong, because after the drinks were served, they came around and poured an extra 2-3 shots into everyone's drink which was funny. My mom got this pineapple margarita type thing and it was pretty huge and had lots of surprise gummies in it.They keep the salsa on deck and even have a spicier salsa you can ask for if that's what you like. In regards to the food, it was decent price and not bad. I will say everything was on the salty side. The taco meat, beans, even the salsa. This was kind of unfortunate because the service was great and the workers are funny, the food prices are there, but the flavor just didn't hit in the right spot when you compare to so many other places. I still will give this place props though! Maybe I'll try again on another day."

Not to worry because I was there for an early dinner before a Stars game and able to get a seat at the bar with no problems. I started with their complimentary salsa flight and a house margarita and then went with a nacho appetizer for my meal with a trio of hot sauces. The food was delicious and I'd recommend coming for sure based on that. Service and ambiance was a miss for me though while sitting at the bar. They have traditional bar seating and then seats around a "bar" which reminds me more of sitting at a diner like Waffle House. I'll just say the seating was awkward because the workers congregate there to pick up food from the kitchen and watch over their tables. While my server was quick, he never once smiled and it was obvious that he couldn't wait to get me out of there (this wasn't due to trying to free up a seat either as there were plenty). I would have stuck around for another drink but instead headed out to another spot after finishing my meal."

I have never been seated in the restaurant part, but you have to pass through it to go to the restrooms. It's bright, quiet and very restauranty. The bar area is the opposite. Dark, colorful with all of the music artist portraits, loud and also cozy. Could easily spend a while here watching sports.We have always sat on the bar side. They have several tables and of course bar seating. The chips are those thin greasy type that are so good and the salsa is tasty and not too hot. The cheese enchiladas are always my go to and they are cooked perfect as in the cheese is just melty enough.Prices are pretty average for the area, and service has always been quick and friendly.Any time I have a cheese enchilada craving this will be my spot."
