"Great little place just off the main roads. It looks a little divey from that outside, but is clean and comfortable on the inside. Our service was excellent and everyone was incredibly friendly. We had the roasted brussels sprouts as well as the roasted peppers for appetizers and both were delicious. I had the southern smoked Ramen with extra spice added. It was excellent, and the spice level was perfect for me. Others had the sushi, which they really enjoyed. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area"
"I have wanted to try Nori out for so long, I've waited thinking it would be too busy but on a Monday night, I walked right in. They have plenty of seats, all bar style. I got a seat right in front of the sushi chef (of which they have 2 at all times it seems). I ordered the Hungry set, which was a great deal. They prepare the hand rolls for you as you finish so everything is very fresh, and the nori, which they're known for, is extra crisp and fresh. The sushi chef, Lim, helped explain every order to me as it came out. It was also happy hour with $3 sushi which was also delicious, but the standout star were the hand rolls. My favorite was definitely the soft shell crab, give it a try!"

"While I can't say that this place is for me, I can say that I had an unexpectedly enjoyable experience. It seems like the menus regularly change and I wasn't sure that I would enjoy any of their offerings this night. I ended getting the Rabbit Chorizo short rib. The rib was tender and seasoned well, but the cornbread stuffing that came with it was the true front runner. All around, the service was exceptional, but I am not excited to come back for dinner. Their brunch menu looks promising, however."
"Delicious ramen! The chicken ramen & the tonkatsu black ramen were so decadent, rich, yet light (not heavy!) you have the choice of adding additional toppings~ lots to choose from!We also tried the house salad and seafood salad which were so fresh! Dara was a great server and was on point on the service!Great spot for a warm bowl of ramen on a cold day~"

Amazing! Great environment and ambience. Went with my father and girlfriend. Staff was amazing. Food was amazing. We got sushi, bao and Ramen as well as their dessert. Pretty amazing. Definitely recommend. The Komodo tower is amazing. I get it every time I go, I've been 4 times and can't wait to go back again

I first came to this restaurant years ago during its soft opening and it instantly became one of my favorite spots... there have been ups and downs since then with quality, covid, and ownership change. I went recently this past week and am pleased to say the fish quality is truly at its best. Everything melted in my mouth and I had to even go back for seconds of some nigiri. If you're going I definitely recommend going for the hangry because the final 2 rolls make the experience 12/10.

Rye has been on our Dallas bucket list for quite some time and I am so thrilled that we finally got to experience it! The restaurant was fantastic from food to service with my only critique being the bathroom doors are glass, (I'm not sure why anyone would make that choice). My husband and I both started the meal with cocktails and a cheese board. I had their whiskey sour which was authentically made with egg white, a very rare find and it was spectacular! The cheese board was also very good with the house made challah and crackers being the high note of the dish. For our mains we had the Cacio e Pepe and the Pork Belly Lollipops both of which were very good although if I were to go back I would get the Pork Belly again and forgo the pasta as the very thin noodles made it difficult to eat. Lastly, we ended dinner with the espresso cake and cheesecake both of which were good but I would give the espresso cake an 8/10, slightly dry, and the cheesecake an 11/10 as it was the most perfect balance of flavor and texture. For a night out it is well worth it and I very much recommend!

My sister and I decided to have ramen on this frigid day in Dallas and picked Jinya because of the vegan options for me. We wanted to sit at the counter and the hostess looked at us weirdly then she said, oh you mean the ramen bar. Okay. The ramen chefs were all Mexican which is wierd because we grew up in Japan and good ramen is an artform. We scanned the menu and I decided on the Flying Vegan Harvest and my sister had the Black Tonkotsu. Mine was excellent with thicker noodles. However, it was like an entire block of tofu was used. My sister enjoyed her ramen which had thinner noodles, a whole egg which should be cut in half really, and lots of toppings. We both agreed that the portions are so large that they should reduce the portions and reduce the price. We don't need to eat that much. But, both were delish and fulfilling on this cold day.

Very nice dining experience, service is superb, the interior decor is beautiful, and the food is top notch. We came for Ramen, we had much more. The chicken Ramen was plentiful and delicious. We experienced the chicken Ramen with low carb noodles. The shrimp tempura in creamy sauce (the best shrimp tempura in town). The veggie stir fried plate that had eggplant, Brussel sprouts, bell peppers and mushroom was fantastic. The pork wontons were steamed and then pan grilled.Overall, we loved everything, can't wait to be back.

It was recommended that I visit the restaurant and I did on Easter Sunday. I'm guessing this was the wrong day because the restaurant was dead. It was maybe three people in whole restaurant. I was promptly seated and the staff was incredibly friendly. The menu has a lot options with reasonable prices. I ordered something simple and it wasn't special. I will give it another shot on a different day to have a drink. Please give this scratch kitchen time to grow and learn, before we say no. It's great to have a low-key spot downtown with a soul food-inspired menu.

Love the cool and chill ambiance of this ramen restaurant. My friend's baby was also loving the vibes as he was quiet the whole time!!!Starters included the seared scallops and the sweet corn fritters. The seared scallops did not pair well with the sauce as it was too salty. The sweet corn fritters were the best though. Perfectly fried crust and soft and fluffy inside. Delicious!!! We got the spicy miso ramen which was not as spicy as I imagined which was a good thing. I do wish it had more protein but overall a well balanced and savory ramen. As for drinks I loved my lichi li as it wasn't too sweet for being bubbly. Paired well with the appetizers!!!Highly recommend this ramen restaurant when in the Greenville area!!!

"Visited on Friday at 430 pm and we were greeted and seated promptly. Charlie was so delightful and attentive, she is an excellent server and her kindness is infectious. The broth, it was delightful and overall great. I LOVE spice and I didn't enjoy their hot sauce (think sriracha flavor) and the broth could have been more complex, it was good. It was just missing a layer of complexity to the flavor. We enjoyed our experience and will be back!Arigatou!!"
"First time at Esco. Went with a group of girlfriends for Brunch. The service was the best part. Greeted and seated and started well. Unfortunately the A/C was not up to par. Although we got there when they opened, they were already out of Shrimp and French Toast. Thought there would be a DJ, but we got low-key R&B vibes playlist the entire brunch. The food was plated well and was okay, but some of my friends indicated it lacked seasoning. Give mad props to our Waitress Jordan because she was the bartender, server, and deliverer. Has potential to be dope but it was underwhelming."
"Hold on Houston. I may have left you, but I didn't leave my appetite behind. But what's this? Ramen? Good noods and chillacious drinks. I'm just making up words alright? Bear with me. But picture this. Bustling streets. Chatters of different conversations from bars around the way. Aromas of carbs and tonkotsu scream in the air to be devoured on a hot day. You're hungry and you just need some good eats in your stomach. Making your way into Wabi means you're either waiting on their patio for a table/bar seat. Or you're immediately sat with yourself (or with friends.) The menu is pretty extensive from their scallops, meatballs, to Japanese fried chicken and ramen which are pretty damn tasty. Plenty of the food has been good noshes and people like Amanda, Ahn, Jasmine, and Denise have made this place incredible. Here's the food and how I eat it. The scallops have a light soy marinade with micro greens on top. I had a dash of salt to compliment it. Shittake mushrooms have a nice density to give it extra umami. That bone marrow butter is stellar. I get the tsukemen which is their dipping ramen; but what do I do? I add scallops and that bone marrow to enhance that broth. The gods answered my prayer and I couldn't stop saying thank you to the food one. Overall, it was great. I love the atmosphere and I couldn't thank them to be another home away from home."
