"My husband took me here for our first anniversary. The atmosphere is very classy and the interior is designed beautifully. We both had the Ribeye with creamed corn, mashed potatoes, onions and tomatoes and snap peas. The steak was awesome but I think I liked the veggies the most. Extremely fresh. The waiter was very nice"
"came here while on a work trip after it being recommended by a friend.highly would recommend this spot. the service was great - the gentlemen that waited me kept checking in to make sure i was okay. complimentary bread was good.the wagyu beef meatballs were good but i had a unique taste, not sure if it was the gravy that added to it. had the cesar salad as a app as well before i had my bone in ribe-eye which was cooked perfectly medium rare with a side of truffle oil mushrooms. food was very good. the ambiance was classic new york style dark dining room. afterwards took a visit to their cigar lounge for a nice after dinner cigar."

"Food is amazing at Perry's.Anytime hubby & I go here food is always delicious.Been here two years in a row for our birthdays."
"In the area from out of town on our anniversary, and found this amazing place for brunch. First of all hopefully you get Mandy as your server, she is fabulous! I had the carne asada omelette, the streak was grilled to perfection and the egg was very fluffy. Paired with the cheese and peppers it was delicious! My wife got the chicken schnitzel special, all I can say is I hope this gets added to the menu! We also had a side of biscuits with the fig jam, I wanted a bottle of that jam. Everything here is scratch made and it shows. We sat out on the patio with the beer tap waterfall, and fireplace, it was a perfect setting for a lovely brunch with my wife."
"Jayna was a wonderful server! She was incredibly attentive and went out of her way to make our experience great. Sunday buffet was delicious with a great price. Lots of different options at the buffet: taco/omelet station, savory meats, breakfast/lunch options, sweets. Absolutely worth checking out."
"Yes. Resounding yes! Stellar food, great value. Still want to try their burger at lunchtime on Friday. The port chop is the star of the show. Everything is done very well. Never a disappointment in all the times I have been."
"I originally found this steakhouse on a random google search when my fiancé and I visited Dallas 3 years ago, and I'm so glad I stumbled across it! Everything from the crab cake lollipops, sides, and my favorite: the beef wellington is immaculately prepared. Of course the bill is pricey, but that is the expectation when dining at an upscale restaurant. The complimentary valet parking, the elevator entrance, the piano, and the waterfall all give this restaurant that extra push towards a lavish experience. If the food wasn't reason enough to come here, the staff is just as incredible. Everyone is helpful and goes above and beyond to accommodate your needs. They decorated the table for our anniversary, took lots of photos for us, and even ran after us when I left a souvenir I purchased earlier behind at our table. Whenever we have family in town and we want to make them feel like royalty, we take them to Dakota's."
"This is my 3rd time coming here , and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is serene and inviting, with a modern yet cozy décor that immediately sets a relaxed tone. The sushi itself was nothing short of spectacular. Every piece was fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. The variety on the menu catered to both traditional sushi lovers and those looking for something more innovative.Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive. The staff were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations based on our preferences.Additionally, the pricing was reasonable considering the quality and presentation of the food. For those who appreciate a great sushi experience. Its definitely worth a visit. I'll certainly be returning soon!"
"LocationUptown/Dallas just off McKinneyParkingValet-we went in the wrong was-trickyAtmosphereVERY classy! Decor with pink lights, video photo booth in entry. SeatingBar, large and small tables, booths-upper level-3 -4 steps and semi circular area with windows on McKinney. ServiceExcellentMenuThis is a steak restaurant. We had the happy hour wine, taco, and quesadilla. The taco was good-small street-flavorful. The quesadilla was excellent with a lemony sauce. Yum! Happy hour surf n turf!! Large happy hour food menu! SummaryClassy steak restaurant with great service and location. Happy hour menu rocks!"
"Excellent food. Excellent service. Had the hangar steak with bone marrow butter. Fantastic!!! Close to American Airlines Arena."
"I have one review posted that, because of the restaurant's response, went from 1 star to 2. Here's the thing - this restaurant requires two different and separate reviews. One, for a group of 4 or less. Quite another, for anything larger. This restaurant with it's seating and service is tiller made for small groups. You're treated well, you're cool and comfortable, the ambience (in the outer room) and very homey and pleasant. And the food is phenomenal. One of the managers, Angela, is an absolute gem and one of our favorite people in the industry. I think they have the best burgers in the DFW (a hotly contested category). They remind me of a blast from the past - Fuddruckers. For 4 people or less, they are a five star establishment."
"We celebrated my dads birthday here and the food and service was amazing. The restaurant has a moody vibe and dim lighting. We were a big group so we shared sides and entrees, definitely worth the price, I can't wait to be back."

Amazing Restaurant not only the great vibes of the people. The food was very nicely presented . Service was over the top. My water stayed full.. our waiter and waitress were very attentive and communicative.. love the little lights they have on the tables to assist the viewing of menu while maintaining the lighting all around low and intimate Where can I start with the food ; Appetizers for table calamari was amazing not rubber nor fishy tasing the best have had. 3four salad amazing. Steaks and salmon were on point. Celebrating a birthday. Not only did they bring out a dessert they blessed our Birthday Woman with 4 different (large ) slices of cake. I can't stopping saying how amazing this restaurant it! .

My husband and I made a last minute reservation for our anniversary tonight, and it was so worth it! I mentioned having a dairy allergy on OpenTable and from the "host desk" to the service (and kitchen) I felt acknowledged for that. (THANK YOU!) I had the ribeye and scallop special, and my husband had the a5 wagyu. I got broccolini and he got gratin potatoes (his one complaint is a little too watery), and outside of finding a hair in my broccolini (it totally happens and I was in no way upset!), the meal was fabulous. Both steaks and scallops cooked to perfection. The service was great, I honestly felt bad letting Adam know about the hair just wanted to make sure the kitchen knew about it, lol. Our cocktails (bourbon smash and boulevardier) were excellent! And the suggested, "on sale" Elouan" Pinot Noir was fantastic! We cannot wait to go back again, thank you so much to the excellent service all

Couldn't wait to go to Perry's and left disappointed.Had a reservation for 3, for our annual Christmas get together. Was seated within 5 - 10 minutes of arrival. This restaurant is beautiful. The decor gives luxury, the lighting is dim, nice for a date night.But....the service! Immediately the waitress vibe was not good. Sadly I feel that she stereotyped us, and she looked like us. It took forever to get our drinks (2 mocktails and a lemonade). 1 drink was returned due to it tasting like mint and the drink ingredients didn't contain mint. Next one was brought out in a dirty glass with something red on the inside of the cup.Food finally arrived, and one person's order didn't come out. Again mind you it's only 3 of us with very simple orders. We told the runner what we were missing, he said it's coming out, and never did. We advised the waitress after she finally made her way back to our table, as well as asked for plates for the sides that had been just sitting. She insisted that she did put the whole order in and would take care of it. A few moments later the manager came out with the entree, apologized, and said it's on the house. The pork chop bites were tiny, overcooked, and overpriced. The vegan chop steak was great, and so were the sides. The sides were actually really good. Once we received the check the entree that was on the house was still on there, we told her, she got an attitude and said well he didn't tell me. But she fixed it. Will I go back? I doubt it. Bad customer service is a BIG no, no for me. The food was okay but nothing I will be talking about in the future. We still enjoyed ourselves, but the service was simply unacceptable.

Food: 9/10Service: 10/10Ambiance: 7.2/10I came here for a special solo birthday supper and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Make sure you request the server: PRYNCE! He was so funny and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my special day. He was a great educator on the in-house and local beer selections this tavern specializes in. Now to the FOOD-it did not MISS!! The jalepeno burger with a side of risotto was immaculate in flavor, presentation and filling! The risotto is hands-down the best I've had in Dallas and even in comparison to other states. (It's better than Del Frisco's in my opinion). If you order the burger, make sure you request the Spicy orange tinted aioli sauce!! Prynce brought it for me upon request but i highly recommend they start pairing it with the burger by DEFAULT I also got to try the broccoli and it was good, I love that it wasn't drenched in salt. Thank you Shoal Creek for making my stormy solo birthday dinner a delightful and DELICIOUS occasion. I'll be back!

A friend offered to take me to dinner wherever I wanted as a thank you for helping him with some business strategy. Not wanting to head all the way into Dallas, I opted for Verf's, which I knew would be a reliable pick closer to home. Although it was Mardi Gras when we went, we got a quiet booth in a back corner behind the bar area and were able to enjoy a long conversation over a great meal. I ordered the Verf's chicken, which is garnished with hatch chilies, roasted corn and black beans. It comes with garlic mashed potatoes (my favorite carb) and asparagus. My friend had the ribeye, which comes with the same sides, and said the steak was cooked perfectly. We also split dessert--crème brûlée with blueberries, which was plenty large for two people. As I'd hoped, my friend was very impressed with the restaurant and said it was a great choice. I'll have to come up with some more clever business ideas so we can make a return visit.

Highly recommend Perry's for any special occasion--a birthday, an anniversary, or even if you're just looking to impress that date. This place will not disappoint. The staff is attentive, the service flawless, and you'll want for nothing during your visit. As a self-proclaimed steak snob who can cook better steak than 90% of restaurants in DFW, I can confidently say Perry's is in the top 10%. Their steaks are phenomenal. Order one medium rare, and you're in for a treat--it's that good. The wine pairings are equally impressive. It's clear the staff is well-trained to recommend the perfect pairing, and they absolutely nail it every time.I highly recommend Perry's for an unforgettable dining experience.Also....dont sleep on the sea food. That sea food tower is down to impress. If pasture food isn't your thing....pull something out of the sea. It's all good.

Great service, very attentive staff. The drinks were amazing, and the sides were the show stoppers. Warming they are very big so do not get 1 side per person, it is more of a sharing with the table format. We got the fries (best fries in the world), loved the au grantin potatoes, brussel sprouts, and Mac and cheese. For appetizers, we got the calamari and crab claws which came with the most amazing sauce. It had citrus in it that complemented the crab very well. The steaks, on the other hand, did not meet up to my expectation. It was not seasoned that well. However it was cooked very well. The sides paired well with the steak. Food overall was good, and service was amazing. Might only come again if I was in the area.

Came here Sunday around noon. I was quickly greeted and seated. The service was excellent, staff were very friendly. The sizzling dumplings were sizzling for real. Good amount of filling and very flavorful. The salmon poke bowl was a generous portion, everything tasted fresh.

"Food was pricy but you get what you pay for and we got far more in quality, service and ambiance than we paid for. We will be going back and we are all looking forward to it. Thanks for the quality of food and friendliness of staff that was shown to us on our first time visit. As I said, we will be back!"
"Yum! We need to come back to try more!Easy to find, plenty of parking, and many options on seating! Booths, tables, inside, and outside! The decor is warm and inviting! That matches the premium service we received! The menu has many different options! I ordered the meatloaf. Wow, melt in your mouth meatloaf! Great spices, great texture! The green beans and mashed potatoes were really good. Others at the table had fish and chips and chicken fried steak. Nothing but praise on those! Dessert? Oh my... I had the bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You want this!Price was very reasonable for taste, quality, service, and experience!"
"Had the chicken fried steak. The entire vibe was nice but casual, good drinks. No wait on a Saturday. It was all around a great experience. I recommend"
"Trying to get to this place took over 45 mins when it was suppose to be 5 mins. It has been one of the Hallmark Christmas places I've seen and apparently the entire city and travelers come out to see it. This night, there was a drone light show and the streets were filled, roads were blocked-- complete nightmare. I almost gave up, but there were people waiting for me at the restaurant and I finally arrived to the dedicated parking lot reserved for Dino's. When I get there, I head upstairs, very rustic and old steak house vibes. Wine was already served, so I get a glass poured. We chat, appetizers come out, and salads. Everything was very delicious. The main course, the steak was like butter. I ordered an old fashioned. Single ice cube, perfectly crafted. We had chocolate cake for dessert. Decadent, not too sweet. If I had this for my last meal, I'd be happy."
"Great hospitality and the food was good quality. We like the fact that they prepare so many items table side. The owner works there, which makes a huge difference."
"We have passed Randy's several times and decided to give it a try. The ambiance is charming and our server Travis was great but overall, it was very overpriced for the value. Everything we ordered was just "ok". We started with the stuffed mushrooms and crab cakes. Though the crab cakes were pretty good, they were incredibly small (2 ounces according to the menu) and even though they state the size, for $26, it was pretty sad. Next up was a wedge and Caesar. The hubby liked the wedge but felt it was drenched in dressing. The Caesar was absolutely not a Caesar and was the most tasteless Caesar I have ever had. I could taste no dressing, the lettuce was soft, there were olives which made no sense. The large Parmesan "discs" added nothing and was stale tasting. For steaks we got the filet and ribeye. Both were cooked well but were again, "ok". I have had worst but I have definitely had better. Our side for our meal was the au gratin potatoes which was easily the least favorite dish of the night. It was various sized diced potatoes swimming in a loose and oily cheese sauce. Finally, we ended with the "famous" Jack Daniel's bread pudding. Sadly, the meal was not redeemed by this sweet ending. The alcohol flavor too strong and the bread too mushy. Nothing really famous or noteworthy. Overall, we left feeling we were glad we gave it a try but know we won't be returning. The ambiance and history is there. It was a shame that the quality of food the price was not."
"I came in on a slow Sunday night for the first time. I order food, sit down to a slow rainy night and wonder; "I hope this place is good because that Steak expensive ." After I order my food a random waitress pass by and says. "You're going to love this food." I said sure. As I thought this dude do not know I'm about the fattest food critic you will ever meet. Order: Filet 8oz grilled pineapple, Fried rice, Broccolini, Moscow mule. I have to say, the food is well prepared from cow to belly the steak was simply amazing. Well cut, cooked and served. The sides set the example of what a side should be. I tried the wine, absolutely stunning. The staff were top notch, the decor does not complement the quality of the steak and wine. I have to visit again to try more. :)The desert..."
"I really like the ambiance of the place, and they've done a great job with decor. It's cool they used a couple of old guns as the doorhandles for the front doors and then they have a big sitting area with large leather couches. The staff were super helpful and kept the drinks filled and checked in occasionally, and how good the food was. The food itself didn't really strike me as amazing, honestly just average for a good Mexican restaurant, thus the four star rating.I am from out of town, here, visiting one of my kids, so I don't know if I'll make it back anytime soon, but it was pretty good"
"Came here on a whim with a visiting friend and absolutely enjoyed my experience, although I wish we had better seating it didn't take away from the beauty of this place. The food was fresh and made to order, absolutely delicious and my drink was okay but not to much to mention. I would definitely come back, the hostess mentioned a wonderful brunch I would love to try."
"There's a reason The Classic Cafe has been around for so long. The cuisine is outstanding and so is the service. The ambiance is charming and romantic. We ordered the Thanksgiving take out dinner this year and it was amazing!! We will definitely do that again. Thank you to the owners and the entire team who made this holiday so special and stress free!"
"Forewarn anyone trying to go here tonight for Valentine's Day:Last year I went with my wife. The food was amazing .....after waiting almost 2 hours even though us and countless others had reservations. It was a complete joke and they still charged full price. Oh! I forgot 1 free glass of wine. I'd go back. Maybe. But not on any busy night. Good luck!"
"...Every last family occasion? Right here. We made a reservation via OpenTable. If running early, the bar has got you for some sweet potato sticks, cocktail, tea or cappuccino. The venue has been a mainstay in the HP area for a minute. It has its regulars. Fine dining that's the next level experience. Maître d' and servers are personable and warm. Venue is intimate. There's a movie theater and designer stores within the plaza- for a pre-post meal promenade/adventure. Valet available and works for tips. Enjoy!"
"The food was delicious and cooked perfectly. It was everything that you expect a steakhouse to be. The waiters were very thorough without being intrusive."
"Leeann was our waitress. What a ray of sunshine. Had a wonderful lunch. Cream of Mushroom soup and the Manhattan Clam Chowder were both amazing. The Turkey Bacon Club highly recommend. Bacon Wrapped Chicken Cordon Blue was outstanding, the Brussel Sprout underneath were perfectly done. Definitely going back."
"Visited Mac's on Main for Restaurant Week! Their 3 course menu was $49/pp.Our server recommended the hibiscus martini which was fabulous! Highly recommend and the flower itself is also edible - reminded me of eating lychee. For apps, both their salads are great, especially their summer salad.Their prime rib is phenomenal! Very tender and accompanied by a dressed baked potato. If you have to decide anything from the menu, you need to try the lamb chops! Their lamb chops are some of the best I've ever had, and it comes with cheesy scallop potatoes. We had the apple galette with cinnamon ice cream and key lime pie for dessert. Both were good but nothing outstanding.Overall, I would definitely come back for their drinks/main entrees!"
"We visited Culpepper for the Fajita Friday special advertised on social media, we stopped in around 11:30am. Seated after a few minute wait and we were greeted by our server promptly with fresh tortillas and butter. We each ordered the fajita specials to try, one beef and one chicken both with flour tortillas (no substitutions or changes). Our fajita orders arrived within 1-2 minutes after ordering and overall was just okay. Portion sizes were small and the plates contained mostly onion no peppers; served with a small side of rice, beans, cheese and toppings. Flavor wise the food was bland, however the chicken had more flavor than the beef. We were hopeful based on the fajita advertising on social media, but not as impressed as we'd hoped. We might give another shot and return to try Happy Hour and other menu options, we hear there are live music nights."
"First time at this steakhouse and have to say by far the best I've been too. The service from the employees from just walking in were awesome, very welcoming. The appetizers, to the entree was delicious. Also had corn, and Mac cheese did not get a picture. The restaurant was very nice/elegant. Loved it. Def will be going back"
"With only 5-7 tables in the dining room, cuisine prepared by a creative and daring master chef, and a professional waiter who actually serves from the left and removes from the right (what a concept!), Gorji is close to a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Expensive, yes, but the no-tipping policy reduces the pressure on your wallet down to that of dining in almost any other up-up-upscale restaurant. The duck breast was the best I've ever had, and my wife enjoyed the sea bass, which was prepared and presented in a manner neither of us have seen before. We wouldn't mind at all if Chef Gorji mandated upscale dress for his diners, in keeping with his upscale restaurant. But sadly, those days are nearly gone. Few people "dress for dinner" anymore, though the Gorji experience certainly deserves it."
"Date night was a hit because food not only was the food delicious, but Hailey was amazing. Not only is she going be America's next top model, you guys should give her a raise for being awesome. The service received from her was above and beyond. She even chased me outside to give me my card back. We love this place despite living so far away now, and will be back soon"
"I was excited to find that Tim Love had a little hidden gem off the square in Denton, so I quickly made reservations for my finance's birthday dinner. From the moment we walked in the door, they made us both feel so welcomed and special. They immediately wished him a happy birthday without prompting which confirmed that they had read my notes in our reservation. We started with a cocktail made to order at the bar until time for our reservation. The bartender did an excellent job of recommending the perfect whiskey. Once we were seated, our server Ryan took excellent care of us. She thoughtfully asked about our wine preferences and made an awesome recommendation. Then, she walked us through the menu and clearly explained how the courses would be timed and prepared. And, the manager David came by several times to check on us but also gave us plenty of space to enjoy our meal. We had the grilled oysters to start, and what a way to kick off the meal. The flavor pairing of lime, serrano and manchego cheese were so good. Then, we shared the butter lettuce salad which the kitchen thoughtfully split. They have really found a way to elevate their version of a wedge with the dressing, lardons and pepitas. Then, we both had the beef tenderloin which had been thoughtful prepared, seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was so tender that we didn't even need our steak knives. Finally, we finished our meal with the whiskey carmel, bacon sundae. Just Wow!!!I am always surprised by the food scene in Denton, but our meal rivaled some of the best dining experiences that we've had anywhere in the world."
"Grandscape truly has it all!! A member's only cigar lounge! Great entertainment and eateries!! Davio's is my favorite!! It offers the finest cuisine and you will feel catered to!! We visit this lovely 5 -star restaurant during the week. Typically we have the entire restaurant to yourself but the waiters make you feel like you have a personal waitstaff and chef!! Don't sleep on Davi'o's !!"
"I want to be clear that this place is very expensive, almost comically, but we were celebrating my birthday and I been wanting to eat at Knife for years. So here we are.It was a quiet Monday night and it felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves. The dim lighting provides a very moody ambiance, kinda felt a little throwback to the rat pack era. You always forget what exceptional service actually looks like until you come to a restaurant a Knife. Our host, waiter, and bartender were all top tier. Quick shout out to our bartender for making some exceptionally tasty and balanced cocktails. The bread basket to me was an interesting flex. It was kind of off-putting when our waited arrived at our table with this massive basket of bread for our choosing. All the bread was fantastic but I would avoid the biscuit. Even though it was good, it wasn't hot and no one wants a room temperature biscuit. The Mac and Cheese for me was almost great. The quality of the pasta was good as was the flavor of the cheese. However the cheese sauce was broken in my mac and cheese. This happens when you incorrectly reheat a cheese sauce. I could taste where the cheese actually separated from the sauce and it created a grainy texture. The sleeper side was the roasted okra! Our waiter even said not many people order it and it's a restaurant favorite. It was soooo gooooood and not slimy for all you okra haters. Now for the main event. We ordered the 45 Day Aged 44 Farms Rib Eye medium rare. So was the steak delicious, yes. Was it $145 declious? Meh not quite. The best part was the bites of the crispy edges on the exterior of the steak. What an epic bite of food. However, it was still cold in certain parts, and yes I realized it was ordered medium rare, but a cooked steak shouldn't be served cold unless that's how you want it. Also there was some gnarly fat and gristle buried inside the steak that wasn't fun to eat at all.Would we come back and try other things, absolutely. But at these prices, it would have to be for a pretty special occasion."
"Visited 12/29/23 for the first time. Occasion was a birthday and it was definitely an excellent choice. At check in, there was a line and I did have reservations and wanted to make sure we checked in on time. When I go to the front, the hostess never acknowledged me, until I said excuse me, we have a reservation. She wasn't the nicest or most helpful, but we were escorted to our seat. Reservation had birthday (surprise) notes and this was related to the waiter. Now, our waiter Rogelio, was incredible. From start to finish, he was outstanding. Helpful, informative, and my boyfriend was impressed and happy with his service. Rogelio went above and beyond to ensure things were wellCocktails - blackberry smash (made to perfection) and the Tito's Martini was on point Appetizer - beef croustade Main - Surf & turf (chef's special) and baseball cut filet (Oscar's way). Dessert - Texas Pecan cake Food was wonderful! Asparagus was meh - was not a flavorful as we'd hoped but still good. One of our steaks wasn't cooked correctly and THANK GOODNESS Rogelio noticed and asked to have it sent back to the kitchen and fixed. We didn't want to complain over it but it was medium rare and we'd ordered medium well. It was returned by the chef, replated, and cooked as requested. Now..:the cake. ABSOLUTELY DIVINE! We devoured the entire slice and there were no regrets. If anything, GET THE DESSERT!Great dinner and excellent experience."
