Made in-house, with tender, fresh chicken, including tasty sweet cranberries, all tucked into a cloud-like croissant. We also indulged in a mocha frappe--hands down, the tastiest in town!TIP: Parking is a beast! There is a parking garage directly behind their building. Fair warning there were only 3 handicap spots. All of them were full at 2pm on a Wednesday. TIP: Every table was taken. Many people on their phone/ laptops, and thats okay if they are customers. BUT, the majority had no problem taking space that could easily seat 4 people. Frustrating to those of us who were there to spend money on food, pastries, and drinks. We would have spent more money if we had a place to sit and eat .. comfortably. When the Texas weather snaps to cooler weather, the outside seating area in front of the building will add extra space to this crowded spot. They do offer another outside area in the back, but it sorely lacks the same vibe.We look forward to making this part of our favorite lunch rotation and want to to try more items on their menu. Then again, if they can't gain quality control with the freeloaders, we might look for another spot. There's too much competition to struggle with this!"

Craving a solid meal and after getting -insert star emojis- PAID -insert more star emojis- I wandered down into the gayborhood of DFW, which I might add is about less than a mile from me. I've seen this place during the late party evenings but never during the day walker's shifts because I'm usually in bed and can't be bothered to leave it. Ask Eddie. It's true. I park my car right across the street from the bar windows to people watch, watch my car, and enjoy the brightness of the sun like an ancient Chinese grandpa while enjoying my glass of water. But I digress to the food. Touch down taco on corn - jalapeño wrapped bacon with eggs and smothered with cheese - I would probably ask them to melt the cheese a little bit but the flavor was stellar. Chef's favorite omelette - goat cheese, carmalized onions, mushrooms, brisket - flavors were lost for me. The mushrooms had texture and flavor that was absorbed by everything, you had the tang from the cheese, and the brisket didn't really do much. It was okay to say the least. Pancake - can't mess that up! For a single mini flap jack it was good."

I literally made it three blocks before the wafting scent of smoky rib deliciousness won and I had to pull the car over and just chow down in the 7-Eleven parking lot. (I will say that the mac & cheese was just OK but MY mac & cheese is amazing so everything else basically fades in comparison!)-The second time I ordered:the food was just as good and luckily I made it all the way home. However I did decide to pass on the mac & cheese.Third time:I went on my lunch break and it was everything that I wanted it to be.. it hit that greasy spot and it just made me glad to live AND work rather close to such an amazing barbecue place (it's a catch 22, really)This is where it gets tricky because for weeks I had been raving to my friends and family about this barbecue place; how amazing the barbecue, how it's fall-off-the-bone tender, etc. Alas, I finally had a friend to join me for lunch and of course we decide it best if we go to Blus barbecue and on this day not only were the ribs incredibly tough to the point that we were not able to eat them but they were also incredibly over seasoned and I mean heavy heavy heavy on the pepper. I apologized to my friend I told her heyit's not normally like this she understood because she had been hearing me rave about these ribs and me being the picky person that I am she knew that it must just be a one off.The fifth time that I went which is the pictures that you see below the meat was fall off the bone tender I even explain explain to the cashier that my last experience was definitely subpar he apologize and threw in a spare rib. But as you can see the ribs were definitely fall off the fall off the bone tinder however they were not seasoned well and they just didn't have that you know like it's almost as if they may have been boiled or some thing I'm not sure if maybe they changed cooks in the back I don't know but whoever was there in the back cooking at the beginning of March we need to bring that person back because the consistency is really what's throwing me off at this point.Now that I finish the ribs in the pictures below. Period.... AbsolutelyWill I be in just as quick of a hurry to go there again I don't think so because I'm just afraid to get disappointed at this particular junction... but it was fun while it lasted!!"

At $14.95, it was a great deal for such a tasty appetizer.For our main courses, my wife ordered the Hot Chick, a spicy fried chicken breast served with gravy over rice. It came with a side, so she opted for a salad. The dish was priced at $18.95 and was worth every penny. I tried the Crawfish Pasta, which featured crawdads in a rich, creamy sauce over pasta, topped with grilled or blackened chicken. At $28.95, it was a bit pricey, but the flavors were so amazing that I didn't mind.To drink, my wife had a sweet tea that was very southern-like, with a hint of lemon and a surprising berry taste. It was a refreshing complement to our meal.One thing to note is that a 20% gratuity is added to your bill, so be aware of that when dining here. The kids burger (ordered medium) was well done and not eaten. We waited at least 30-40 minutes from the time of ordering until our food was brought out. We also ordered dessert and it was all delicious (key lime pie, chocolate mousse, and creme brûlée) and waited about 15 minutes for them. Overall a good experience, despite a long wait times. The restaurant itself is very cute, but attire of some of the other waitresses made it seem very informal despite menu prices. One waitress wore a see through white tshirt with no bra and nipples were very visible to everyone; quite off putting for such a nice restaurant."

The food came out slow, but it's probably due to the crazy amount of people out that day (beautiful spring day, and prom weekend).Food: We ordered the following dishes to share between the 2 of us1) sideways belly cheater/Fried Pork Rib (3/5: would pass on this!
