"I love that this coffee shop is inside a plant nursery, it brightens the place and feels so magical. All the wood in the decor too makes me feel cozy. They sell some cute stationery items inside as well and since it's inside a plant nursery you can obviously shop around for plants too. Everyone at the cafe is always really helpful and kind. The drinks taste great and I had a London fog that was delicious. The main foods can be a bit pricey but it's really fresh, so it felt justified. My arugula salad packed a punch with fresh squeeze of lemon and the chicken didn't taste dry either. I think it's a great place to bring friends and family or have a cute date that doesn't feel like you're sitting in a cookie cutter coffee shop."
"Let me start by saying that I have been to this place 5 times since early March!!... today is April 2nd. (Yes, I know... I have terrible eating habits)That should say a lot tho!Bottom line... absolutely give them a visit! So why did I give four stars instead of five you ask? Good question.I deducted one star for inconsistent performance. Three of the five times that I've visited have been phenomenal. Whereas the other two times have, unfortunately, missed the mark rather substantially.-The first time I went :I ordered a half pound of pork ribs, and a small side of mac & cheese. I literally made it three blocks before the wafting scent of smoky rib deliciousness won and I had to pull the car over and just chow down in the 7-Eleven parking lot. (I will say that the mac & cheese was just OK but MY mac & cheese is amazing so everything else basically fades in comparison!)-The second time I ordered:the food was just as good and luckily I made it all the way home. However I did decide to pass on the mac & cheese.Third time:I went on my lunch break and it was everything that I wanted it to be.. it hit that greasy spot and it just made me glad to live AND work rather close to such an amazing barbecue place (it's a catch 22, really)This is where it gets tricky because for weeks I had been raving to my friends and family about this barbecue place; how amazing the barbecue, how it's fall-off-the-bone tender, etc. Alas, I finally had a friend to join me for lunch and of course we decide it best if we go to Blus barbecue and on this day not only were the ribs incredibly tough to the point that we were not able to eat them but they were also incredibly over seasoned and I mean heavy heavy heavy on the pepper. I apologized to my friend I told her heyit's not normally like this she understood because she had been hearing me rave about these ribs and me being the picky person that I am she knew that it must just be a one off.The fifth time that I went which is the pictures that you see below the meat was fall off the bone tender I even explain explain to the cashier that my last experience was definitely subpar he apologize and threw in a spare rib. But as you can see the ribs were definitely fall off the fall off the bone tinder however they were not seasoned well and they just didn't have that you know like it's almost as if they may have been boiled or some thing I'm not sure if maybe they changed cooks in the back I don't know but whoever was there in the back cooking at the beginning of March we need to bring that person back because the consistency is really what's throwing me off at this point. Now that I finish the ribs in the pictures below. Period.... AbsolutelyWill I be in just as quick of a hurry to go there again I don't think so because I'm just afraid to get disappointed at this particular junction... but it was fun while it lasted!!"

"Pizza and beer! Caught my eye on my way to work. Thought id step in for lunch and didn't disappoint. Stepping in i noticed a huge 4 tv display and thought hell yes! Sports! I got the number 1 which is a caesar and a slice. Ordered a tall beer. Beer was cold. Caesar dressing and salad was fresh and flavorful! Slice came out and it was a huge thin crust slice with a pickle on the side. Hot and fresh slice with just the right amount of ingredients! Definitely coming back again!Music and vibe was on point as well!"
"Did you ever go to the old Denton Independent Hamburger Company? If so, this is lime old times. Big hand-cut fries. Burgers cooked over fire in front of you. I got the cheeseburger and a side of cheese fries. Both have a cup of grated cheddar melted over each. It's really good. I got my burger all the way with mayo and mustard. To my pleasure, the mayonnaise was not sweet salad dressing like Miracle Whip, but instead was savory. The portions were generous. There are a few covered outdoor tables that overlook the new 50 West music venue open to the east side. There are several booths inside and maybe some tables. It's not enormous. I'm pretty stoked to have this in Krum."
"I saw this eatery on IG. The food looked appetizing. In is located inside Ann's I ordered a quinoa/kale wrap, it was delicious with a little spiciness. The service was great, and the ambiance was laid back. Their were tables to enjoy your meal. Would I go again? Yes. I would love to try Lions Mane. Please stop by a surprise, your tastes buds."
"This is a cute little restaurant tucked in the back corner of a strip mall off of Arapaho Road. As the weather cools, I imagine more people will be hanging out on the covered patio enjoying the cooler air while drinking a Cubano cordito, small espresso with steamed milk (and sugar). I briefly felt like I was in Little Havana in Miami. There are lots of desserts and pastries to choose from, especially flan, the establishment's namesake. I still haven't tried these, but the display case with the guava one is on my list for my next visit. So far, I've indulged in the Cuban sandwich and the vegetarian version. The Cuban is delicious, and - I - mean - every - bite! They have figured out the art of making sure mustard touches every corner of the bread, and that the thinly sliced pickles and pork are in every bite of the sandwich. I can't tell you how happy this made me. The sandwich is flat, similar to a panini which took me by surprise. It is also elongated. While I didn't appreciate this initially, I realize, it's like you get to enjoy the Cuban experience longer with smaller bites. The vegetarian Cuban sandwich is made with mushrooms and pineapple. These two are an odd combo I would never have considered. However the texture of the two together on the sandwich really did work well together. I didn't notice the sweetness of the pineapple at all. However, the Cuban sandwich taste is definitely different than the real meat version. The vegetarian sandwich is an acceptable lunch item, but if you have your heart on the real taste of Havana, you'll have to get the meaty version. The poblano cheese ball was an add on. It isn't spicy at all. In fact, it is bland. I dumped hot sauce on it to give it a punch. The texture of the perfect panko ball with the hot oozy cheese inside was lovely. Plantine chips come with the sandwich. They are thinly sliced and lightly salted. These are great for snacking, and you receive a lot of them either your sandwich. I ended up bringing them home because it was too much to eat. My big complaint is the use of styrofoam clambshell containers. Even if you eat at the restaurant, they serve your meal in this environmental abomination. There are so many other options available these days that are better for the environment and not hard on the pocketbook. Please consider this change!"
"I am certainly no pizza snob, but my gosh this is great pizza! I discovered Palio's in south Fort Worth, and have been hooked ever since. I have gotten to go twice, and taken it back to Abilene. Now Glenda loves it. As soon as you step up from all the normal chains, pizza has gotten quite expensive. Well, Palio's runs all sorts of specials to help make it a little more affordable. For lunch, I had a 10" personal pizza, Greek salad and drink for $11.99. It was all delicious and I had leftovers. I really enjoyed the Greek salad. Of course you can make your own pizza, but the choices in the gourmet pizzas are great. Our absolute favorite is the Grace's Alfredo. It's fantastic! The King ( a supreme) comes in next on our list. We tried the Ralphie, which was good, but probably won't order it again. Be sure and sign up for the VIP club to get additional specials And earn points. While Earl's 377 pizza in Argyle is the best I have ever had, Palio's is sure a great second!"
"After an early casting of my ballot down the street,I sought out this spot for some heavy fuel to propel me through the day. This cafe has been here forever and about 15 years since I've eaten here . It used to be crowded throughout their breakfast and lunch operating hours. However,8:30 and I'm the only one here? I immediately feel on guard and ready to make a decision to leave before I have an average breakfast experience. The friendly waitress finally appears handing out menus and taking drink orders.I ask her if there's been a change of ownership and she responds "yes a new Partnership". At least she was honest.I've seen it a lot lately. These older traditional family run cafes changing hands due to retirement, death or fatigue. It's predictable as the once well oiled machine begins slipping.I decided to throw caution to the wind and give it a chance. I'm glad I did. They serve up a multitude of daily breakfast plates for $12+ dollars. Ours were decent but not memorable.I'm afraid these endangered species cafes are no longer in demand and slowly withering on the vine. However,if your in the area and want to fuel up for the day,I say...Go!"

"I'm back trying another new (to me) restaurant. My normal routine is to order several different items in order to get a feel for the food. I ordered the rib sandwich, beef sandwich, peach cobbler, lemon cake and potato w/ 3 meats.I tried the rib sandwich first. I forgot to mention that I ordered it with no sauce on the ribs and they honored my request. The sandwich contained 3 nice sized ribs between two slices of white bread. The ribs had a nice flavor and weren't tough. Ok, good start.Next was the beef sandwich. I thought it was going to be on a hamburger bun but it wasn't. I don't know what shape you call the bread (hoagie?) but the sandwich was huge and filled with meat. I definitely was impressed and even more so because it tasted great. The last item I tried was the potato. Let me tell you, that potato could feed a family of four. It is HUGE. I got mine with links, pulled pork, beef, added tomatoes, added white onions, green onion, cheese and butter. You can't go wrong ordering the potato, especially if you want something that you can get 3 or 4 meals out of, easily.Let me say that I only took bites out of the sandwiches. The potato was my main focus and I've only eaten not even a fourth of it and I'm stuffed. I doubt I'll get around to the lemon cake or peach cobbler. I'm going to take a nap. Maybe once I try the desserts, I'll come back and add that to my review. This place is a must go to...."
"The food was delicious. Had the Porky's burger and fries. The meat was fresh. The food tasty and full of flavor. I would definitely come back. Small spot. No wait. Visited Saturday afternoon. Diverse crowd which is always a great sign of how good the food is."
"The best senior menu arround. I picked the pork chop that are Homemade pan fried . The pork chop was huge . It was big enough for two people. The pinto beans were homemade beans , you can taste the bacon flavor off it. The mashed potatoes were soo tasty more like home made, at least they were not tastless like cardboard . The Good Days resturant are consistent in their menu. And very well priced. Not like over ones head proce. Its like a small town resturant with customers of a small town P. S. Sorry my picture has bite taking off on it. Its bc I couldnt wait to eat it"

I wouldn't have guessed that there was a deli behind the nursery. Then I began to think if the deli was vegetarian because it was behind the nursery. Luck for us, they served different types of food ranging from quesadilla for children to flat bread pizza. The deli is attached to a store with cute Christmas stocking stuffer ideas. The manager and team created a cute Christmas arch connecting the deli and store. That was a nice touch! Also, outside had many photo opportunities and simple games for the children to play with.Back to the deli part - They serve a limited selection of alcohol, teas, and coffees. They also have water infused with lime and lemons. That's always an A+ in my books! They had an assortment of teas available to smell so you can choose which tea you'd like along with different syrups. Right up my ally! I ordered the chicken pesto panini with tomato soup and my husband ordered THE GOAT flatbread. I'm not a fan of tomato soup, but because my allergies were affecting me on this day, it was for the best that I had soup rather than chips or salad. To my surprise, the soup was fresh and topped with cheese and seasoning. It was made very well. The panini was delicious - lots of chicken and flavor. The GOAT was also very good - it reminded me of a margarita pizza with a twist. Lots of seasoning. Thank you for the amazing service and food. We will be back!!

Rode around Plano for awhile looking for a creditable place to have BBQ since I was only in town for a few days and really wanted Texas BBQ. First time in Texas so was lost on where to go to and what to get. Just so happened I took a chance based on a photo I saw and I was not disappointed.Ribs: I can't say anything bad about the ribs at all. They tasted just as good without sauce with sauce. Big A+++++ for me because I'm not big on some peoples sauces so that makes it worth it. However the sauce depending on the palate may be different it was a vinegar based which if not mistaken is Memphis style (don't kill me Texas if im wrong I'm just going on what I was told). The only down play was it was $45 for a 1/2 a rack which was a pretty big blow to me for pork ribs. If it was beef ribs I wouldn't have said anything but that was special I had just missed. Overall rating in my opinion would be a 8.5 for the ribs just because of the taste but the price just made those bites taste different. Peach Cobbler: I'm just going to say maybe it was because I got the last scoop of the pan and it was sitting there for awhile but that was not the peach cobbler I thought I was going to get. It tasted like something out of a grocery store freezer that was heated up which was disappointing since I really wanted something sweet after the amazing ribs. I will try again when I revisit so I don't want to deter anyone from the dessert but I will have to re-review this item so I'm not going to rate it. Presentation however it looked amazing...wished it had more peaches also...got maybe 2or 3 small cuts of peaches and the rest was crust. Jalapeño Mac and Cheese: So I've only had macaroni and cheese like this out of pigeon forge Tennessee which is in my other review but it was great I finished it first out of everything...really wished it was flattop seared which is how I had it before it just does something. However I would rate it a 8 must have. Brisket Wrapped Jalapeño Peppers: This was different all the way around for me. Loved every bit and loved the overall presentation. Definitely will be going back for those...$5 a piece which is not bad for everything in them. Rate these an 8 must have. Establishment: Great vibe!!! Manager and Bartender was attentive and came over to ask about the food. Locals was fun and was live. Sitting was little odd but wasn't terrible. Just never was a fan of people passing me while I was eating to order. My own bias opinion. I would rate the establishment a 9 just because it was exactly how I would want a BBQ place to look and feel. Prices: $85 for what I posted minus a banana pudding and pulled pork 1/4 pound. I find this to be a little pricey I'm not going to lie for the amount of food that was given. I don't live personally in a cheap area at home so it was okay for me but for someone who may not...it's not a bang for a buck kind of place but a definite must try.

The food is sooo good!! I'm watching my sugar intake, the desserts and ice cream is just right, not too sweet. I'm assuming he uses agave instead of sugar.. . Everything is always fresh.. Definitely one of my favorite go to vegan restaurant..

Finally got to try Bella Flan! It was semi-busy for a Saturday morning. We ordered 1/2 sweet cafecitos while we waited and they were perfect for a rainy morning. We got the Cuban sandwhich (votes Dallas's best Cuban sandwich in 2023!) and the poblano and original potato balls. The Cuban was delicious! They give you a generous serving of fried plantain chips to accompany it. It was filling and had the perfect balance of rich and tangy flavors. The potato balls were delicious & im definitely adding Bella Flan to my must eat again list.

We were in Allen to try out another place but they were to go only and we were not aware. So instead we decided to check this place out since we passed it on the way to the other place. This appears to be a local spot that mostly carters to people in Allen. It gives a local only type of vibe by which I mean that everyone is friendly and even the people at the table beside us helped me decide what to get with their recommendations. The menu has all types of items for breakfast and lunch plus they have daily special dishes. There is a strong Mexican food influence on the menu so is great for when dealing with someone who can't decide what they want to eat. I ordered the cowboy chicken with scrambled eggs after our table neighbors recommended it. The chicken was cooked well and was still moist. The gravy wasn't the best I had but still enjoyable. Mixed with the bacon, eggs, and biscuit, it's not a meal you take lightly. Overall I enjoyed our visit and would go back again to try some other items.

"I came to Dallas for a weekend trip and stumbled upon this place. Everything was so good. The vanilla cold brew was perfectly made. The shrimp and grits were seasoned very well and filled with shrimp. The bartender was really sweet and efficient. Also the food came out so fast. It was a nice vibe all around in this establishment."
"Enjoyed a business lunch meeting here.Service was spectacular. Our server was managing the whole dining room by herself and did so such gracefully -- smiling at every table. She made a hard job look effortlessly easy!Everyone in our party ordered something different and we all agreed that our food was prepared with a lot of fresh ingredients. Not a lot of places can still own that because things are often preheated and the re-heated, etc. It was clear that everything ordered for our table was made to order.I personally ordered the Rustic Nicoise Steak Salad which is described on the menu as 'Mixed Greens with a Poached Egg, Red Potatoes, Haricot Vert, Cherry Tomatoes, Olives, and Avocado paired with a Light Herb Vinaigrette.' Really great make up of a light (and very filling) salad. The steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself had a laid back community feel -- nothing too fancy or uptight. These guys also sell whole cakes in different flavors, shapes, and sizes.Support local small businesses y'all!"
"We came in late, and my group came in unknowingly almost 30 deep at 1 time! The team immediately sat us; Julia and Laura provided friendly and prompt service. The Brisket was good, Brisket QUESO DIP WAS AMAZING!"
"Strong burger! The owners are here working everyday to make sure they deliver to the loyal patrons. One of the best straight up classic burger values going in DFW right now .They get it right."
"I love the grill. It's a dive, but in a great way. The ladies who work here are super nice. The food is always super flavorful and properly made. The pork and barbacoa is braised in the juices until tender and juicy. The chili pork is spicy as hell. It's also very tender and succulent. The Barbacoa was not spicy at all but very juicy and tender also with great flavors. I have a hard time eating 3 of the tacos in one sitting. Normally I'll eat 5 spicy pork tacos at fuzzy's cause they are smaller. Here the meat pours out the sides of the tacos. If you are a boring gringo, they have decent burgers and gyros. At least that's what my friends tell me. I can never order anything but the beautifuly braised meats."
"I don't often give 5 stars, especially on my first visit, but Dix Cafe is deserving of 5 stars. The space is beautiful and comfortable. It used to be a wine bar and it was beautiful then, so I am happy then kept the cafe just as beautiful. The service is outstanding. Madison was our waitress. She was very friendly, besides giving my friend and I great service. The coffee is delicious. The menu has so many options it is hard to make a decision. The Veggie Omelette was one of the best I have had. It was the perfect size to fill you up, without being ridiculously big. And, a big plus, it came with avocado. The fruit was very fresh and the toast was the icing on the cake. My friend and I are already deciding what we will try next. I also plan to bring others soon."
"Absolutely love this place! The food is healthy and delicious and we've always had quick service here. Our favorites are Banh Mi, Chicken Prosciutto Sandwich, Peruvian Steak Sandwich. And all their sides and juice are really good. The place is very chill and perfect for family with kids. Highly recommend it!"
"My wife and I visited The Free Man Cajun Bar and Lounge today, and we were blown away by the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere. We started with the Boudin Balls, which were sausage with rice, breaded, and fried to perfection. At $14.95, it was a great deal for such a tasty appetizer. For our main courses, my wife ordered the Hot Chick, a spicy fried chicken breast served with gravy over rice. It came with a side, so she opted for a salad. The dish was priced at $18.95 and was worth every penny. I tried the Crawfish Pasta, which featured crawdads in a rich, creamy sauce over pasta, topped with grilled or blackened chicken. At $28.95, it was a bit pricey, but the flavors were so amazing that I didn't mind.To drink, my wife had a sweet tea that was very southern-like, with a hint of lemon and a surprising berry taste. It was a refreshing complement to our meal. One thing to note is that a 20% gratuity is added to your bill, so be aware of that when dining here. Despite this, we highly recommend The Free Man for anyone looking for delicious Cajun food in a lively atmosphere."
"What a surprise! We were too exhausted from our travels to leave the hotel and were in such luck how great it was! Cocktails were fabulous and live music was a great touch. But the highlight was the BBQ! (All the food really) We we're craving BBQ and this was a total surprise how legit it was! Brisket and biscuits melt in your mouth. Ribs are fall off the bone tender. Chicken & sausage was awesome. Everyone was happy with their meal. Highly recommend! Great attentive service as well! Loved it!"
"Great sandwich and it's fun to eat it in a liquor store. Also they had GF bread which was a nice surprise."
"We opted to try one of the family meals and really enjoyed the ribs, brisket, mac & cheese and fries. The service, hospitality and recommendations made for a great experience."
"We really enjoyed our dinner at WOF. Our sever, Brooke, answered all our first-timer questions and made good recommendations about the several sauces and seasonings they offer. She also kept my drink filled, which is something that matters to me.Their onion rings were really good. We like the lightly breaded ones and these were some of the best we've had in the area. We had the sweet BBQ wings, and on Brooke's suggestion, I tried the Texas Heat with lemon pepper rub which I liked a lot. It wasn't crowded at all on a Sunday evening. We had good food and good service, so we'll make this part of our regular restaurant rotation."
"This place is great. I ordered it on UberEats, and the food, price, and size of the portions exceeded my expectations. Even the packaging was thoughtful and kept my food warm and neat. I ordered the Cubano, yuca fries, and Materva, and everything was exceptional. I'll definitely be ordering again. The picture doesn't even do it justice"
"Went to another place for breakfast but they were not open. Yelp recommended this cafe for breakfast burritos so stoped in. 3 orders to go but because this is a cafe I could order different things to make everyone happy. Burrito for my brother in law, Omelette for my wife and steak & Eggs for me. All of it delicious and very fast for a to go order. Great service."
"Outside of trips to Portland and Santa Monica, I'm relatively new to this Food Truck scene, but when I discovered Klyde Warren Park and the glory that is it's food truck selection, I had to dive head-first into one of my all-time favorite cuisines - deli subs.Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? One of the toughest parts of running a food truck has to be the service aspect. You've literally got to bring your A-game all day every day considering you can't provide a place for anyone to sit, but Gandolfo's absolutely nails it with their Dallas crew. Super nice guys who are happy to accomodate and have your sandwich out in a flash. Really, really nice and genuine people. Star Granted.Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost?A good, non-chain deli sub is an investment without a doubt, but luckily I knew this going in, so I was more than happy to fork over $7.29 for a half portion of the "Big Apple" with extra meat. While it doesn't look huge in the picture, this was a meal and a half, and I can't even begin to imagine what a full-size would have looked like:http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=I8S-Mc8eOUvFtOfaFgedaQ&userid=OKX-V5j_qfuOebeHeWGrHgStar Granted.Stars 3 and 4: How was the food?Gandolfo's can dish up a brilliant sub, but my one gripe is that consistency can be a tad bit hit or miss. I've had subs at Gandolfo's that are easily among the best I've ever had, and I've had subs that have had me regretting my decision. First and foremost, you're looking at some really quality bread here, which is obviously one of the catalysts of any good sammie yeah? So the bread is solid, but it's in the meat selection that I've found a mixed bag. At times you get really amazing lean cuts of meat, but other times I've had a real dripper of a sandwich that really threw off the whole thing. Either way, there are amazing toppings of shredded lettuce and banana peppers, and a great mishmash of sauces that bring the whole thing together. Dual Stars Granted.Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? The product is great, but the consistency often has me deciding between Gandolfo's and nearby Uncle Ubers: http://www.yelp.com/biz/uncle-ubers-sammich-shop-dallas . That being the case, I can't say I would come here daily. No Star Granted."
"Amazing sandwiches I have never tasted anything like this I did order these through over eight and oh my gosh, my whole family loved it"
"The Reuben is delicious!!! Thick slices of yummy corned beef. Came with thick homemade potato kettle chips. I had a slice of strawberry cake for dessert and it was divine!"
"We eat there every Monday for lunch. We have gotten to know the manager and his wife. They are an amazing couple. The food is amazing!"
"Weinberger was on top of my list after my coworker told me how great it is. My husband and I stopped by around noon on a Sunday. The line was decently long however the service is quick and easy. There are a variety of sandwich options to choose from. By the time we got to the front of the line we changed our order 20 times. We ended up getting the Lustig and the Avery to go. The portion sizes are huge! Enough to save some as a left over. Each sandwich came with a bag of chips and a pickle. There is limited seating but again people were in and out of the restaurant pretty quickly. My husband also ordered a pb and j which looked delicious. We will have to come back and try more options."
"Very good! It's nice to have an upscale local spot. With that said the price is surprisingly fair. Our servers name was Eric and he was fantastic. Great cocktails, the spinach artichoke dip is fantastic. We both had the filet which was perfect. Good affordable kids menu so next time we will bring the family. Shop local!"
"We Have A Winner! When I saw the announcement Hattie Bs was closing in Deep Ellum, I was disappointed. I had finally found a great Hot Nashville Chicken joint. Then, just as quickly,I was elated to find out it wasn't a closing at all but, a relocation. Luckily, I remembered as I was cutting across town that, the new location in an old original International House of Pancakes building, was close. Perfect. The new menu is a little confusing and could use some help. However, the staff is super friendly and smoothly facilitates the ordering processI went for the classic mild sandwich. A chicken breast fried to perfection on a soft white toasted bun topped with well executed cole slaw. Almost perfect.Speaking of perfection, the crinkle cut fries( I hate to sound cliche) are the best I've ever had. Extra crispy, lightly seasoned outside, creamy soft inside. I could order just these and be happy. This location is more convenient than the parking nightmare of the old site. I've definitely found me another go to forFried Chicken satisfaction in Dallas.Go!"
"Great food, OMG, great service! I want to try every single thing on the menu! We have had brunch and lunch and still have more to try! We will be back for sure!"
