"The best Sushi in town . Love love this place freshest sushi great service , we do a lots of Togo orders ."
"The food here is delicious, but plan to come here on a weekday late in the afternoon when they aren't busy. We came during the Lunar New Year celebrations when the City of Richardson was having a festival in the Chinatown plaza where this restaurant is located. The restaurant was packed! We sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes before a table cleared. Once seated, we ordered drinks and foods immediately, but waited at least an hour for our hakata noodle ramen to show up. The food was delicious, but the wait was so long, we missed the entire festival taking place outside. It was chilly inside. Our table was near the kitchen and the front door, but even when the door wasn't open, it was quite cool inside. I'm guessing they had the air circulating for the wait staff and kitchen crew who were probably hot from running around all day serving everyone. It wouldn't have been so bad if we could have received our ramen sooner so that we could warm our insides with hot broth. The food was delicious, well my spicy tonokata was delicious. It was flavorful without being so spicy that your nose started running. lol! The hakata noodles were plentiful and delicate enough that you could break them without slurping continuously for five minutes. Ha ha ha! Seriously, I was super happy with the tangled nest of noodles. There were a lot! That made me very happy. Waitstaff were nice, apologetic about the wait, good about refilling our drinks on a regular basis. Price was about $44 with drinks. Not cheap, but average for the area. I would come back, but definitely in the off season."

"Oni is a must-have when in Deep Ellum. It's easy to order (two kiosks, self-serve OR sit at the bar, not both!), and easy to pick your spice level... just know there are no remakes or refunds! Choose wisely! You can get your spice on the side if you're wanting to be adventurous but not have a heavy risk of dragon fire breathing, mouth melting spice levels. The ramen is quality, always delicious, and tastes fresh. I love that you can choose a hard or soft boiled egg because, let's face it, not everyone likes it the same way!The restaurant itself is a skinny sliver of a place with two entries, one at the front, one at the back. It's stylish and utilitarian; plenty of place for you to hunch over a steaming bowl and slurp noodles to your hearts delight. It's definitely casual and the mood (and crowd) gets more creative as the night goes on!I will always approve of Oni when it comes to ramen. The spice choices are dialed and they know it."
"Great location off Lemmon Ave. The food here is always fresh hot and delicious. I got a huge chicken soup for about $14. It's definitely a lot of food and I would recommend this location"
"Definitely one of my go to places for quick fix of Korean fusion food. Their togo service is stellar. I've never had my food order wrong and precise with special instructionsLove getting their loaded Bulgogi fries and Chasu-Don. Bulgogi has a char grilled flavor. Ingredients are fresh. Great flavor for both items."
"High quality sushi with good ambiance. Servers were pleasant and welcoming, I would definitely come back!!!!!!"
"I've been here before so I'm surprised at the poor service today. To be fair, they appear to be understaffed - I only saw two people working and no hostess. When I walked in and said it was just myself, the gentleman appeared confused and then referred me to the bar, which had no bartender. I was asked what I would like to drink, asked for sparkling water, and was offered the choice of Perrier or club soda from the gun. I chose Perrier and it came in a plastic bottle. I had to open it and pour it myself. About 8 or 9 minutes went by and I realized it seemed as if I had been forgotten, so I dropped a $10 and walked next door to Truluck's where I'm having an amazing dinner."

Had dinner here with my family since my son had heard so many good things. The parking really sucks, there is very little street parking, but several lots and each cost oner twenty bucks. The restaurant had a very friendly staff and they were eager to help with inputting your orders. I ordered the Texas Mazeman, and aside from having a very big chunk of ramen, partly uncooked and inedible, it was a really good bowl with lots of flavor and a really good broth. My wife also enjoyed her vegetarian bowl. If ever in the area again we will make another visit.

Ok so if there was a sixth star I would give it that because it was that good! Basic no frills ramen place with a K-pop theme. The service and the food are top notch. We ordered the garlic miso ramen soup and the veggie ramen soup with veggie potstickers you can add more items to your ramen and they even allow you to customize the heat level. I would definitely return again! I wish they had one back in Arizona !

This was a nice find!I thought the service was great since the lady taking my order was sweet and patient throughout. The ambiance is nice also- it has a couple of small booths inside to eat at- it seems you order at the counter and then sit down. We opted to go. TIP: not everything is on the menu up front or in the paper menu itself. Make sure to peep the left wall which lists some of the many items but also using the paper menu as a supplement to it. For example, I looked on the paper menu and did not see the shrimp tempura Bao bun until after I ordered and sat- I then realized they have a whole menu on the left wall. The food I had was:-Shrimp Tempura: nice and crispy, fresh. The batter was a bit overpowering to the amount of shrimp but nonetheless pleasant to eat. It paired super well with the sweet Spicy Mayo sauce it came with!-Chicken Bao Bun: fresh, although I felt it was missing something the whole time. It comes with grilled chicken and coleslaw which you can tell are freshly made. The coleslaw is fresh and crunchy. Although I ended up using the Sweet spicy Mayo sauce that came with the shrimp tempura which helped a lot. -Takoyaki Octopus Balls: pretty good! Topped with a lot of sauce and you can tell they are freshly fried. The meat inside is a decent amount from other Takoyaki Balls I've had although the dough is overpowering and mushy at points. Maybe doing a bit less dough would balance it out better. Otherwise pretty decent Takoyaki!I'm just visiting this area but would recommend you check this place out. From what I tasted- they offer fresh, quality food. Inside it feels like you're in a spot in Japan which is nice. I would def recommend ordering their Shrimp tempura Bao bun which will hopefully come paired with the Cole slaw and Sweet spicy Mayo sauce.

I'm going to jump on the bandwagon and declare this place as the best sushi restaurant in Southlake! Never mind that its the only sushi restaurant I've visited in Southlake. But in all seriousness, I've been to plenty of places in neighboring cities and this one really is among the best. So I can see why they have such glowing reviews. We got the spicy edamame and the Yellowtail Heaven as appetizers. The Yellowtail Heaven was so good that we ended up ordering a second one. Then we got the No Problem, Tropicana, Special Dragon, lobster and double tuna rolls along with tuna sashimi. Each one was like a work of art and tasted just as delicious as they were beautiful. I couldn't pick a favorite because everything was so exceptional. Also, they get bonus points for bringing all the rolls out at the same time. I can't remember the last time I went to a sushi place that did that. At the end of our meal they surprised us with a complimentary dessert which I can only describe as a kind of ice cream sandwich, beyond that I don't know what else was in them. What I do know is that they tasted great. The final pleasant surprise was when the bill came. Unlike many other sushi places, our stellar meal actually didn't cost a small fortune.

The appearance inside and out is very clean and pleasant. The waiter greeted us right away and was super friendly. He did forget to bring our drinks (ice water) and we had to ask a couple of times. The food was fresh and tasted good. The only reason for dropping a star is that the price is a little high for serving size and quality.

A little wait when we went. We had an early dinner on Saturday around 5pm. I think we waited 10 minutes.Such a cute spot with stacked honeycomb seating. The menu was great. They have a little robot bringing some dishes which actually worked really well.Really enjoyed the omurice, ramen and appetizer sampler.Lovely service.

"Cool hidden gem in Frisco. Food and service was excellent! We got a chicken ramen and passion fruit tea, delicious very fresh."
"We finally have a chilly night and my bestie was craving ramen so it worked out perfectly. I got the Tonkatsu Garlic ramen and I loved it. She got the tonkatsu ramen. Really good flavor and a generous portion for the price. We ordered a couple of rolls and we both liked them. The restaurant is small and cozy. It has a very homey feeling to it and everyone we had contact with was very friendly and accommodating. I don't live in the area but I would definitely come back"
"Delicious ramen! The chicken ramen & the tonkatsu black ramen were so decadent, rich, yet light (not heavy!) you have the choice of adding additional toppings~ lots to choose from!We also tried the house salad and seafood salad which were so fresh! Dara was a great server and was on point on the service!Great spot for a warm bowl of ramen on a cold day~"
"We visited this spot while in town and had dinner here one evening--it was such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was clean, charming, and inviting. The young lady working that night greeted us with a warm welcome and the biggest smile. She patiently guided us through the menu and answered all our questions, making us feel right at home. The food and drinks were absolutely amazing--bursting with flavor in every bite! They even provided take-home containers so we could enjoy our leftovers later. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, and we'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in town!"
"Disclaimer: I ordered via DoorDashFirst time trying Rakkan Ramen and I was excited to finally experience their food.I totally appreciate that this restaurant offers so many vegetarian options! It is difficult finding ramen that is not pork based. I recently had dental surgery, so I say that I am on a geriatric diet, meaning soft foods. When I saw Rakkan as an option on DD, I knew it was the right time to try it.I ordered the vegan bun, veggie gyoza and Vegan Garnet ramen. I must confess, I am a mushroom fanatic. I could eat mushrooms for every meal and I have never met one that I didn't like. The vegan bun was full of umami mushrooms, which were delicious. Unfortunately, the bun was falling apart and I had to eat it with a fork. The bun was mushy- bummer. The veggie gyozas were tasty, but the best part was the dip for them. I have never had gyoza sauce that was that tasty-- I could drink the stuff! The ramen... what a disappointment. I really thought that since it contained the same mushrooms as the bun, that it would be delicious. Sadly, it was boring and lacked so much flavor. Plus, the serving was shockingly small for the high price. With tax and tip, the meal was $39. Thirty nine dollars for one person! I mean, at a fine dining establishment I would expect this. At a ramen eatery, no. What a bummer."
"My friend wanted ramen for lunch so we landed here. We started off with the chicken karaage and gyoza which were both lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the seafood ramen and my friend ordered the tonkotsu ramen. We both felt the flavor of the broth could've been richer and he did note it could've been spicer even with the side of spicy oil he had. Overall, it was an ok experience and we had good customer service."
"Visited on Friday at 430 pm and we were greeted and seated promptly. Charlie was so delightful and attentive, she is an excellent server and her kindness is infectious. The broth, it was delightful and overall great. I LOVE spice and I didn't enjoy their hot sauce (think sriracha flavor) and the broth could have been more complex, it was good. It was just missing a layer of complexity to the flavor. We enjoyed our experience and will be back!Arigatou!!"
"Hold on Houston. I may have left you, but I didn't leave my appetite behind. But what's this? Ramen? Good noods and chillacious drinks. I'm just making up words alright? Bear with me. But picture this. Bustling streets. Chatters of different conversations from bars around the way. Aromas of carbs and tonkotsu scream in the air to be devoured on a hot day. You're hungry and you just need some good eats in your stomach. Making your way into Wabi means you're either waiting on their patio for a table/bar seat. Or you're immediately sat with yourself (or with friends.) The menu is pretty extensive from their scallops, meatballs, to Japanese fried chicken and ramen which are pretty damn tasty. Plenty of the food has been good noshes and people like Amanda, Ahn, Jasmine, and Denise have made this place incredible. Here's the food and how I eat it. The scallops have a light soy marinade with micro greens on top. I had a dash of salt to compliment it. Shittake mushrooms have a nice density to give it extra umami. That bone marrow butter is stellar. I get the tsukemen which is their dipping ramen; but what do I do? I add scallops and that bone marrow to enhance that broth. The gods answered my prayer and I couldn't stop saying thank you to the food one. Overall, it was great. I love the atmosphere and I couldn't thank them to be another home away from home."
