"This restaurant is so cute inside, very aesthetic and beautifully designed. Food was delicious, we enjoyed the samosas, hummus, chicken shawarma, chicken kabob, and kufta kabobs as well as the mango and strawberry mojito mocktails. The service was also great! Our waitress checked on us often.I also wanted to mention that the five stars is in part due to the hostess in the front. She was so kind and really helped with our son who was getting a bit fussy. She made him a balloon hand out of a glove and a fun toy out of a water bottle. We very much appreciate her and would come back 100% because of her!! Thank you if you read this!!!"
"Some of the best chicken I've ever had!!! Really really good and the management / owners are very kind! Def will be back"
Movie has been made on this famous dish. This is made up of boneless skinless chicken breast cooked in tandoor and blended in light creamy masala sauce with cashew.

"I can understand why Al Markaz is such a cornerstone of the Pakistani community in DFW. Located just across the street from the Hmart complex, AL Markaz offers arguably better quality and cheaper groceries than any other place in the area. The food in the food court is solid and felt like I was eating in someone's home. Here's a breakdown of what I got:- Mixed chaat: A mixed assortment of potatoes, tomatoes, yogurt, fried pita. There are probably other things in there that I don't know, but overall the taste is refreshing and has a bit of spice, sweetness, and savoriness. - Bihari kebab: Ground meat that's presented like an upside-down bowl. Very good seasoning. The consistency was a bit mushy for me but otherwise, taste was amazing.- Chicken tikka breast: A bit on the drier side and not as seasoned as the other items on the table.- Naan: This is 100% the best naan in town. I would come back just for this.Service was great! Workers came around often to see if we needed anything (e.g., utensils, napkins, plates)."
"New favorite neighborhood takeout spot when I'm visiting family... place has rotating daily specials which usually run out. Favorites include a standard order of dhokra for snacking & mixed grill for a protein fix with a few different well seasoned and tender meats. Also a fan of the nihari which is flavorful, not crazy spicy and not under an inch of oil. This time around also tried out the haleem which was great and would definitely reorder."
"I have ordered the goat curry and garlic naan a couple times. The dish was spicy, hot, and fresh. The guys there provide friendly service. I don't see many people dining in. However, the quality is worth the trip for takeout or delivery. I even use Chime Deals to get at least 20% cash back. I'm picky with Indian restaurants and this place has a secret touch!"
"This place is the best! Authentic, tasty food, with a great location. Nice family owned business with reliable service. Highly recommend."
"If you ever looking for a great Pakistani/India restaurant. Please please come here to this place. The food is awesome."
"Butter chicken and chicken 65 are both extremely flavorful and filling with big portions and we always have leftovers for the next day. Conveniently located near kroger so you can grab groceries and then pick up dinner! Garlic naan is a good complement to anything you order / samosas are also really delicious. My one thing is that if you want it spicy maybe you have to ask? I always feel like everything is mild when we order."
"Silver Spoon has incredible food, this is my go to spot in Allen for great Indian Food. The place is located in a small strip mall on McDermott, and you barely notice the place unless you're looking for it. When you walk in, you first face the register. You can order at the register, or take a menu to your table and peruse for a bit. The place is not fancy, you're not going to have a 5 star server handing your food on a silver platter, but what you will have is great food made to order and probably leftovers when you're done.I order the Chicken Tikka Masala typically, then I add a side of of Daal just to because its so flavorful. I've ordered both in house and to-go, and both are equally wonderful. You are not rushed as you enjoy your meal in the quiet restaurant atmosphere, and the calm music in the background is great as you enjoy your meal.I will continue to dine here, it's a great place to have in Allen, and I'm happy to patronize this establishment."
"Ordered lunch for my team around 10:19am for a pickup at 12:30pm. I ordered ahead because we have 30min for our lunch and it already takes us 6min to drive over there. I showed up at 12:22 and let them know I was here and to my surprise they didn't check their order system to see if any orders had came in. No apology and was just told to wait 10min. As soon as I walked about that when we got the email and text saying my order was confirmed. So I knew it was a restaurant issue and not that they didn't get notified. They just didn't check. After waiting almost 20min the food was finally ready. We ordered 2 - chicken tikka masala and 2 - chicken curry and garlic naan. The garlic naan was burnt. The chicken curry was horrible pieces of meat and none of it came with rice???I paid about $72 for all of this and it was just horrible. Would never go back!"
"Have you ever eaten Indian food and wished it had meat in it? Well, then Pakistani food is for you. This is one of my favorite South Asian restaurants in all of DFW. I've eaten here over 15 times now, just working my way down the menu and never been disappointed. In fact, my love affair keeps deepening with every trip. My favorites so far are chapli kebab, sesame naan, beef nahari, Keema Naan,...the list keeps getting longer. Do yourself a favor and try something new and I promise, you'll keep coming back."
"I see UberEats promos here and there for Cafe De Khan, so I decided to try this place out! -Chicken Tikka Boti Roll: Overall, pretty decent! The chicken itself was flavorful. The parathra (flatbread) was oilier than I would've liked. The accommodating dipping sauce was pretty good as well. I'd give it a solid 4/5.-Chicken Biryani: The chicken was much dryer in the Biryani. The biryani was on the spicier side and had some good flavor to it. Not the best biryani ever, but it suffices. 3/5Because of the UberEats promos, I was able to get a big amount of food for a reasonable price. Food was packaged well."

During our visit to Dallas, we stumbled upon a vibrant hookah and shisha lounge that impressed us from the moment we walked in. The ambiance is truly a standout - the space is beautifully designed with stylish seating, mood lighting, and a modern decor that creates a relaxed yet energetic vibe. The music was perfectly curated, adding to the overall atmosphere, and the service was attentive and friendly, making for a welcoming experience. We decided to order a variety of dishes to share, starting with the Shrimp Dynamite, which was absolutely fantastic. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, coated in a creamy, spicy sauce that packed just the right amount of heat and flavor. The Fried Rice was another winner - aromatic, savory, and well-seasoned, making it a great complement to the shrimp. We also tried their Hummus, which was smooth and rich, served with fresh pita for dipping. The Fries were crispy and golden, a nice side to balance out the more flavorful dishes. However, the one downside of our meal was the Lava Cake we ordered to celebrate a birthday at the table. Unfortunately, it was a letdown - the cake was dry, and the molten center was more like a thick, gooey mess rather than a rich, flowing sauce. It didn't live up to the expectations set by the rest of the meal.Despite the dessert disappointment, our overall experience at the lounge was fantastic. Between the delicious food, great atmosphere, and attentive service, it's definitely a place we'd return to. Whether you're looking for flavorful bites, a chill environment to enjoy hookah, or simply a place to hang out with friends, this spot has it all. Just maybe skip the lava cake and stick to the savory dishes!

This spot has been recommended to me by so many people and I've also seen it in a few TikToks and I finally checked it out. Inside of a fantastic quaint grocery store. The Dal Gosht was phenomenal. Such a flavorful sauce and tons of goat meat. It comes with a huge piece of naan and some veggies. You can also buy frozen entrees in the groceries store. I love it here and I will definitely come by again and try the brain masala.

This restaurant is an answer to my prayers. No Kidding!!!!Finally, an authentic restaurant with quality food. I was here for the first time yesterday and the place was super clean. Its small area to seat so dine-in for large groups might be challenging - I dont know!!Food, however, is heavenly. This place has won me from other places. DFW desi resturants should quit and learn from these nice folks.

Royal Grill - a hidden gem nestled along Hebron Parkway. From the outside, it looks pretty ordinary, but the Indian/Pakistani dishes inside are some of the best I've tasted. The staff is friendly and always there if you need suggestions or have questions (or need additional food ;) ).Now, moving onto the food. The Mango Lassi was just right - creamy, smooth and the perfect balance of mango and yogurt. Their garlic naan? So garlicky, just how I like it. The Chicken Seekh Kabab practically melted in my mouth in an explosion of flavor, but not the spicy kind. If you're in the mood for something hotter, I'd recommend the Beef Seekh Kabab for a lovely burn. I also tried the Paneer Tikka Masala, something I haven't tried often, and I loved the pan-seared texture and seasoning.I don't visit Texas very often, but I look forward to checking this place out again when I do.

A solid value and good food! This is one of those shopping center restaurants that is easy to overlook. I've lived in the area for a while and only just now visited Lahori Kabab, and I wish that I ate here earlier. I've noticed that it seems to be a popular place, a consistent stream of customers coming and going. And now I know why, good prices and good food. I recommend calling in the order beforehand, ours took about 30 mins. On this first visit we ordered samosas, chicken karara, and chicken tikka masala. The samosas were alright, wouldn't say the flavors were anything standout but it was fried well. The sauce it came with was pretty watery / thin, though, probably one of the only criticisms of the entire meal. The chicken karara was great, so much chicken! I opened the box and was surprised at the large portion. This is probably what made the wait longer but it was worth it. It had a nice smoky flavor from the tandoor and was seasoned well. This was recommended by one of their regulars that was picking up a tray of this when I went to order. I would get it again for sure. The chicken tikka masala was fairly standard, which is a good thing in my book. A nice creamy sauce and tender chicken. Paired great with the rice and also with the chicken karara since that is dry. Ordered an extra naan just to soak up all the extra sauce. This is a good restaurant that deserves a look, but definitely call in your order if you don't want to wait. As of early June 2021 they are take out only.

From the outside you would think this was a hole in the wall, but you wouldn't want to walk past, walk right in! Located in a shopping center with clothing and electronic stores, this Indian restaurant does not disappoint. Order at the counter and they'll bring your food to the table to eat, you pay afterwards. The lamb dish was delicious and flavorful as well as the okra ( I LOVE okra) and it didn't disappoint. For the amount of food you receive the prices aren't bad at all and totally beat out high end competitors. Give them a try!

Nice visit tonight at the Gurkha Bar and Grill. We'd seen the great Yelp reviews and finally got a chance to make the trip to Euless to try it out. The restaurant sits in a commercial complex next to a supermarket, lots of easy parking. Inside a dozen or so tables and a full bar with baseball, soccer and other sports showing. Service was prompt and friendly, with our server explaining the menu. I had the tandoori chicken, which was perfect. Appetizers were awesome and the prices were right. Extensive menu, all types of offerings from the usual tikki chicken to goat and lamb dishes. All in all a great place to visit for legit Nepalese and Indian Food.

"Everything was fantastic until I got chappli kebabs that taste like 600 grams of salt.Disgusting! Seekh kebabs were great. Wasted my money"
"We love getting take out from here. If you're in the mood for some cosy, authentic Indian food, this is a great hidden gem. The spices are spot on, & they're generous with their portions. So far, we've tried most of the menu items & none of them disappointed us! Yet, our favorites/must have's are the mutton biryani & chicken lollipops. The only thing that caught us off guard is that there's a sign that it's mandatory to wear masks here, yet none of the employees or customers do. Confusing..."
"I ordered from Uber eats and I don't know if it was an off day, but my butter chicken was horrific. It was very bland and swimming in oil. I had to season it myself on delivery and still couldn't save it. They didn't include my Naan either. When you're starving and the food is still horrible that's when you know it's bad. Luckily I ordered the chicken patties which were delicious but probably not home made. I cant recommend or return here."
"Ordered food for pick up. I assume it was the owners that helped me, they were so incredibly warm and nice...service couldn't have been better. Goat portion was small for the price ($21); lots of bones and fatty pieces with very little meat. Also VERY greasy. And VERY spicy. Palak paneer was tasty and more fairly priced for the portion. Also had butter chicken. Again, tasty but a very small amount of (5 small chunks) to sauce ratio. We like some spice but most dishes were just way too spicy for us. The naan was delicious, light and fluffy. The buffet also looked very fresh and plentiful so maybe we'd try that next time."
"The name is a bit confusing, I would expect a place called BBQ Tonite to serve your regular Texas BBQ but they serve indian and pakistani food. I went here with some friends that knows the regional food very well and I let them order and just share. Unfortunately I didn't catch the name but the chicken was very good. The naan bread was good as well. They also serve it with different sauces which are very flavorful without being overly spicy. The staff wasn't very attentive when we went here and we had to work to get their attention but they were prompt once they noticed we needed assistance. They have a varied menu, I will definitely want to return here and try more of their menu options."
"There is often a lack of consistency in Pakistani food in Dallas. For this reason, I held back my initial feelings, and waited until I had food from Shinwari Kitchen at least 5 times. I am very happy to say- Holy Smokes, this place is awesome! From delicious kababs, to their karahis, it is apparent that the ownership and chef have an aligned interest of giving a consistent quality product to their customers.I can say no bad things about Shinwari Kitchen, even if I tried to find a fault I would fail.I highly recommend their karahi dishes. When my family visited last week, I told my sister, "I am going to get us the best karahi you have had". She was skeptical as usual - I have failed her at other establishments that would succeed when it was just my wife and I, but would fail me when I invite family. I cannot say the same about the Shinwari Chicken & Goat Karahi. She and her family enjoyed this meal as if it was their last!I ordered via Uber Eats last night too. Yes, they deliver, and yes it is a little pricey- I do not blame them, commissions on UE are insane. They passed this test with flying colors. The quality was still maintained - and though it is more expensive on UE, I did not feel ripped off in the slightest, because the food is just THAT good.Wishing the ownership and staff the best here, please never compromise on your quality! Keep it up!"
"We stopped by the restaurant after playing badminton in the area since it was close by. The restaurant is pretty small, with only 4 tables. It's located right next to a gas station. They offer a variety of dishes, from fried chicken to burgers to Mediterranean food. You order at the register, and grab your food from there as well.I wasn't too hungry so I got their beef shawarma fries, and my boyfriend got the biryani chicken. The portion was pretty big for both our orders, but our friend got the beef shawarma wrap and it was pathetic. The price difference was like $1 so I would recommend not getting the wraps.I like my beef shawarma fries. It was freshly fried and had a good mix of beef pieces and sauce. The biryani chicken was okay. It doesn't look like the photo on the menu at all since they just dumped a bunch of rice on some pieces of chicken. My boyfriend didn't mind since the portion was big, and it tasted okay. Food took about 10-15 mins to come out and there were customers coming in and out constantly. It looks like a local favorite so I might drop by again when I'm in the area for their shawarma fries, but don't expect it to be mind blowing."
"Fast service, food came out hot, and solid ambience. Highlights of the meal include the Malai boti chicken and Shinwari goat karahi. Both were melt-in-your-mouth tender. Garlic naan and Lahori fish was solid"
"Chicken Mali amazing good quality white meat and the Beef Gola are also amazing and spicy. Service is as expected from a small hole in the wall kinda place. It is clean"
"Chicken Karahi was quite flavorful.Nan and rice is extra, but the value is still decent. The chicken itself felt a bit bland, it didn't feel like it was cooked in the sauce, which is a shame because the sauce is really good. If the chicken was pan cooked before being added it would be better. The restaurant itself was way too quiet tho. Music should be played, its very awkward."
"This place was great. Came here and grabbed dinner with my friends and everyone had a delicious meal. The food is reasonably priced they even have specials throughout the week. I had the chicken tikka bbq plate and it was delicious. A very satisfying dinner. I will definitely come back."
"Originally-I came here because I loved Breezeway cafe and didn't know that it's been replaced but I thought I'd give this spot a try. I'm glad I did because the food is delicious. The Dal Gosht is spicy and flavorful. The goat was so tender and just fell of the bone. Veg samosas and the two chutneys they come with was so flaky and the potato filling had a spectacular flavor and crisp. Also got the healthy barbecue bowl with chicken malai boti which had a specific taste that I couldn't pinpoint but my boyfriend still liked it. It was so tender and spicy. And it's served over the fluffiest rice. The staff is also so nice and patient with some of my questions. I found this place to be a great surprise. They serve good portions for an affordable price. Would definitely come back here."
"So good!!! I have been searching for food in the area packed with flavor and this restaurant makes everything amazing. I love getting a half order of any of their chicken and naan. It's the perfect meal. Healthy, spicy, the right size, and so delicious. The chicken is very good quality. This is my new favorite restaurant in the area.Expect the food to take 30 minutes. Everything is freshly made, including breads! I like to order takeout 30 minutes ahead. When I arrive my order is always hot and ready to go! Their website is great for placing orders!!!Be aware the sign is hard to see. There's nothing above the store, the sign is just in the window so the store appears vacant at first look."
"Love Bay Leaf! The owner is always so friendly and even remembers our order when we call in. The food is seasoned deliciously and has large portions. The restaurant is comfortable and casual, a plus is how quick and convenient to-go/pick up is.The beef fry and porotta are the best! Highly recommend."
"They have delicious food and a variety of food different items to Choose from.. they have great weekly specials which is another bonus.. and to make it even better..their customer service is fantastic.. Always greeted with a smile and my to go orders have always been perfect.. they always make sure my order is complete and ask if I need anything else.. kudos to everyone!!"
"My first introduction to Indian cuisine was here many years ago. I had the lunch buffet and since then it has become one of my favorite cuisines. I love how flavorful and warming the Indian curries are and the satisfying bite of warm, fluffy naan dipped in them.Located in a little shopping strip, I was happy to find that this place was still open after all these years when I stopped in last week for the lunch buffet ($8.99.) We walked in and a gentleman gestured us to seat and help ourselves. There was nobody else there and it looked like we were the first customers at around 12:30pm. One other customer came in as we were leaving. This was surprising, because I recall them being quite busy for lunch before. The offerings were limited, though what they did have was good. The biriyani and tandoori chicken were still the star items for me. The chicken was flavorful and not dry at all like a lot of other places. The curries were tasty but was unfortunately barely warm. For dessert, they only had kheer, but man was that kheer delicious! I wish there were gulab jamun though. The only time we saw the staff was when a lady dropped off a basket of hot, fresh naan. The dining area is not in view of the counter. There was no clearing of plates or even asking if we wanted something to drink. Everything is self served. They have room temperature water in a dispenser on the buffet. Cups and utensils are also there along with napkins which are also at the table. Some may like this setup for a quick lunch option. We did. Would I come back again though? Probably not any time soon. I've had the pleasure of dining at many other places that offer more variety and awesome service. Although the food here is solid, this place doesn't even try to welcome you. Maybe it's better as a to-go option from now on but I'm not in the area much."
"Love the sandwiches at this place, plus their curries are great. You have to be careful at spice levels for the American trade. We ordered a sag paneer dinner (cheese and spinach soufflé) at a level 3 out of 10. Believe me next time I will order it at 1/2 or less. For a neighborhood joint, clean and friendly service, and at 9pm their is a steady stream of customers. If you have not tried this gem, make an effort to. You won't be sorry!"
"Excellent freshly prepared food. Delicious bbq (it's kinda hot so be prepared!) BBQ pizza was really tasty. Menu is straightforward so you can order quick if your super hungry. Quick service. Would go again."
"The food was okay and the service was a bit slow. They ran out of their special chili chicken at 12pm in the afternoon which was really weird. We ordered their chicken 65 and it tasted old and salty. Rating this place a 4 star and hope for improvement. Will definitely return and try other dishes. Ambiance - It's just a food court and everything serve in plastic."
"This has quickly become a family favorite ever since it opened. It's crazy but we've had streaks of coming here weekly haha. There isn't a lot of dedicated parking in the immediate front of the restaurant so you might have to park a little outward. The restaurant itself is well kept. There are clean restrooms, booths, and tables. Well lit and nice décor. They recently added some outdoor tables and string lighting about a month or so ago.My one star deduction is for the service :/ It is painstakingly slow. The waiters are nice but possibly need to be more coordinated. Sometimes you'll have to ask for things like silverware, raita (yogurt based green sauce), etc twice. Also if you plan on getting tea afterwards BE SURE to order it at least 15 minutes early...they make it fresh so it takes some time. I actually really appreciate that most everything seems to be made right after you order so if you feel your stomach churning in hunger waiting, the food will at least be fresh :)Any issues with the service will most likely be offset by the AMAZING prices and taste. A plate of very well-flavored chicken biryani is $2.99; yes, there might only be 2 small pieces of meat but the flavors are great. The naan isn't greasy at all and pull-apart soft! If you decide to get kabobs, I would suggest two links per person. If you're really hungry or a meathead maybe throw in another. The raita they make is the perfect accompaniment for any of their dishes. (As I mentioned before you'll have to ask for raita because the servers sometimes forget to bring it out.)The gyros sandwich is pretty good also. The flavor has a kick to it and there's a really good orange sauce in it that is similar to thousand island dressing. The meat is very thinly sliced. The other item that I like a lot are the samosas! If you come by for an afternoon snack, they go excellent with their tea! The tea is PERFECT. Hot and frothy, it has the aroma of cardamom and cloves. If you're experiencing any heartburn from anything spicy, the mango lassi is pretty good also! The prices are CRAZY. It's so cheap that I felt like we were ordering random things haha! The four of us ordered a lot, were stuffed, and even had a small piece of kabob and biryani leftover...total tab $28!!!If you do a carryout be sure to add 10 minutes to their time estimate and ask for raita :P"
