"Love the vibes. Sat outdoor to enjoy the sun. Our server so sweet & friendly. she always check on us. Food is good. Love the crab dip & seafood pasta. As for spicy garlic noodles, it's an okay for me. It's too saucy. Overall, I will rate this place a. 5. Already planning to be back with our big families on this upcoming holiday."
"The place is looking a little rough with the booth chair material showing large holes and places on the wall have tape and dents. Despite the aged appearance, the lunch buffet doesn't disappoint. Everything is so tasty!Plenty of vegetable choices and meat choices. I love their baked cauliflower. The seasoning just pops in your mouth. Same goes for the cooked spinach, and the cooked mixed vegetables. The saffron chicken is lovely because of the sauce which I like to sop up with my pita bread. The salad bar has hummus, baba ganoush, fatoush (cucumber and tomato salad), and tabouli. In addition to warm, fresh Arabic pocket bread, you can also get zaatar bread. I always finish my meal with the rice pudding. It is firm and has a few pistachios in it. The best I have had in the area. The drink station has generic sodas now, but they taste nearly the same as the big competitors that you are familiar with. Holiday prices are $25 for the buffet. Ouch! But hey, the food is still worth it. If you need to leave your seat, leave your plate and get a fresh one. The staff will take your used plates and leave your silverware. You pay at the entrance before being seated. This allows you to hangout or leave as soon as you need to without having to get anyone's attention to pay the bill. Still a great experience!"

"Chicken with white rice and salad was delicious. The chicken was moist and tender. The salmon a la carte was dry. The lamb a la carte was delectable. The spinach was below average. Good customer service. Plenty of parking. No indoor sitting, however, outdoor seating is available."
"Been to this place multiple times times. Great Mediterranean food! Great service from staff. They offer complimentary bread for starter. You can enjoy your meal in a great ambiance."
"Wonderful kebabs. Wish there was table service. Frankly a more enjoyable experience than one of their high-end competitors nearby in The Star."
"The lamb is my favorite but the chicken kebab also is quite delicious. Ray (owner) greets the customers and treats you like family. The buffet is well tended and fresh. I love so many things it hard to pick just one. Also I'm a fan of the Gyro as it's epic. Sofra is a highly recommended slightly hidden establishment. Bring your family and loosen your belt. Don't forget to leave room for desert and a Turkish coffee."
"Food was amazing! Huge portions! I had the combo loaded fries and hubby had the combo over rice! Both very good!"
"Imagine your favorite cafeteria line, only Mediterranean and it's meat and three, and that's my best description of Fadi's. Located in a busy newish plaza, I was totally unprepared for the wonders inside. I chose baba ganoush, Greek salad, and root vegetables paired with a sauced chicken and the whole thing was amazing. I realized too late I probably should have chose falafel because that's something I don't get at home; or just all veggie sides because they were so amazing. I also failed to add a dessert to take home, but now I have a plan for the next time I am in Dallas, right?I consider this a must-visit."
"Board Bites is DELICIOUS! Quality food & it's SO FRESH. if you're looking for a healthier option, this is a great spot to visit. Highly recommend their wraps and their salads. The hummus is FANTASTIC! Service is great and everyone who works here is VERY kind!!!"
"haven't had much Greek food in Dallas, but this spot definitely left a good impression. The ambiance is authentically Greek, with rustic furniture and paintings that really set the mood. The service was fine--nothing extraordinary, just standard, efficient operation. As for the food, it was solid. I got the Loukaniko Pita Sandwich. While it was pretty standard, it was exactly what you'd expect from a good Greek café. I left satisfied and would definitely come back for a casual, reliable meal."
"Mediterranean and middle eastern food are my husband's and my comfort foods, so this was the perfect spot for us to come on a Tuesday afternoon, after running around Dallas all day trying to settle in from a cross country move. The food is excellent and the staff was very helpful/friendly. It doubles as a hookah bar, so if you're sensitive to smoke, you might notice the smell even in the main dining room. But it didn't bother me.My husband is currently doing the keto thing, and he was very happy to find food he could eat :) the kebabs! Meanwhile, I am ALL ABOUT pita and dips! The Labneh, spicy hummus, and baba ghanoush were superb! We look forward to returning."
"Solid spot for late night food, although it can definitely get hectic especially on the weekends! Went with the Big Guys Mixed bowl, and after a night a drinking, hits the spot. Large portions, lots of protein. Solid gyro and the marinated was good although some pieces are a bit dry. The sauces are great, but if you are expecting the crazy level of spiciness from the red sauce like in NY, gonna be disappointed. Much more mild here and creamier, which works really well with the seasoned rice. Had a bite of my friend's Aloo, which is this fried seasoned mashed potato and wow it is good. In fact I liked it so much, I went back and got my own. I didn't finish the original bowl but that aloo was worth it.Not a large space inside for dining in, which makes sense since most had their order as take-out!"

Excellent weight staff enjoy the Texas fig salad along with the spicy noodles with chicken. The full-size portions were enough for two people to split.

We ended up having a late lunch/early dinner here after someone recommended it. There's plenty of parking in this plaza. The interior is okay, nothing fancy. Service was friendly. Pricing was slightly on the higher end.My wife ordered a beef kobida wrap, and I ordered lamb kabobs with kabuli rice. The beef wrap was pretty good. It seemed to be a whole wheat wrap, and enough veggies and sauce to make it flavorful. It did get messy with all the sauce leaking out, though. One comment I have is that the beef kabob kind of seemed skinny compared to the size of the wrap. The lamb with rice and spinach was also pretty tasty. The cooked spinach didn't seem to match the dish, but the kabuli rice was good and the carrots were cooked nicely. The sauce was flavorful. The lamb kabobs were good, though a bit tough.

The chicken kabobs were incredibly juicy and flavorful--I wish I could meal prep kebabs like that every day. Our server treated us to complimentary hummus and baba ghanoush. The hummus was wonderfully smooth and creamy, while the baba ghanoush, though not my favorite, had an interesting flavor. The pita was soft and warm, and the dinner rolls with butter they serve beforehand were phenomenal. The service was excellent, and the front door, big and heavy, adds to the authentic vibe. It's a bit pricey, but what isn't these days? Plus, the quality of service balances out the cost. Seeing spanakopita and avgolemono soup on the menu would have made my day. Let me know if they ever make it to the menu, and I'll be back!

Stopped in here today on my way through Frisco. I'm interested in coming back for a full enjoyment of all the foods they had lined up. It's a beautiful display of all types and varieties of Mediterranean dishes. Just wanted a light snack, so ordered a pint of their baba ganoush. It was topped with paprika and olive oil and they let you pick fresh and toasted pitas to enjoy with the order. The baba ganoush was creamy and smokey tasting, and is one of the best - perfectly prepared. The servers were super helpful and friendly. Love this place.Thank you for the exceptional treat that I enjoyed for lunch.

They have weekday buffet lunches! I was originally going to do a takeout of the lamb kebob wrap, but when I walked in, the owner greeted me warmly and introduced the lunch buffet. At 14.99, it's a great price for a well balance meal. You can choose from a variety of salads, and cold sides. The hummus was fresh tasting. Pita bread was so delicious too I wish I had room to finish it. The star was the freshly grilled ground beef kebab. Perfectly seasoned and mixed with various spices. The outside was even a little crisp. Highly highly recommend this place!

Food 4/5Service 4/5I got the lamb and chicken combo on a late Saturday night. Perfect food for late nights with big portions. I like less white sauce and no hot sauce on mine.

I came here with co-workers last week and was greeted in a friendly way by a couple of men standing behind a counter of salads. I was surprised because I wasn't expecting 'cafeteria style' and needed a minute to look at the options. They suggested I take a seat right behind me in a booth. I took in all the delicious-looking selections in front of me but wasn't able to make a decision until my co-workers arrived and shared some suggestions. The place was almost empty at 12:30pm - lunch time, which was sort of odd. The soft music playing was very nice, probably better for dinner, but we all liked it.We took up a couple of tables in the back and everyone had something different. They were all happy with their selections. I opted for the lamb, as I was thinking Greek - thought it was going to be similar to Ziziki's and was looking forward to lamb loli-pops. The food here is very good, fresh.I did think the vegetables were cooked in more oil than was necessary but the mushrooms were delicious and so fresh.Staff was friendly, but one man started speaking loudly to another man which caused all staff to look at him, almost scared of him. He was speaking another language and I thought it was unprofessional of him to be speaking so irately to this man in front of customers.Parking is tricky in this shopping center, so be prepared for that.

"Stopped in on my way to see my sis. The most confusing thing is the menu. The spacing of the words, pics of all the dishes on the menu without a rhyme or order or even knowing what pic belongs 2 what dish. But let me tell u, it didn't detract from the great tasting food and phenomenal service. I would definitely come back."
"Having passed by Maya's regularly for several year I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did. Located in Casa Linda Shopping Center, Maya's offerers its owner's own take on Mediterranean cuisine. I had the beef plate with a generous serving, delicately seasoned. Tabbouleh and babaganoush were the sides. I also got an order of falafel with tzatziki sauce. One pita was included. My friend had the roast chicken pita and cauliflower rice. Everything was delicious and filling. Service was helpful and patient carefully explaining to menu items to my friend, a first- timer to Mediterranean food. Ambience is basic and non pretentious. Outside seating looked comfortable and perfect for some Texas days. Maya's Modern Mediterranean is a small gem and worthy of its reputation. Certainly worth a second (and third) visit."
"Excellent food & service. The wait was worth it!! Best Mediterranean food I have ever"
"We were pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste of this fast casual restaurant. The batter on the wings is fantastic!! And those fries are a must. It will be hard to try new things here as we really enjoyed what we had today."
"I've been to Piaf Kitchen so many times within the last two years. They have the best of both worlds as far as dining. If you're having a date night with your man or lady I recommend sitting downstairs it's classy. If you are a bunch of women that just wanna have a good time sit upstairs . Good food good drinks. Make a reservation as they fill up quickly. On weekends they have live music, which makes it entertaining especially when everybody sing along. And obviously the food is delicious. What I'm most impressed about is the service it's not only your waiter that's going to help your table, all the waiters help each other out which I find fantastic. They are all quick and courteous and fun Bunch of individuals. I usually order anything I do not make at home in the past few times I've ordered their lamb shank. All I can say is melting your mouth."
"this place is pretty good I ordered a few things via Uber eats :1) borek cigar - pretty good but I think that it would be best to eat it hot right when it comes out . 3.6/52) kibbeh - I do prefer the version with a thinner wrap and not rice but it was still pretty good . The accompanying garlic sauce was great (3.9/5)3) iskindar- this is one of my favourite Turkish cuisine dishes . It was ok here - a little bit too dry (3.6/5)A descent Turkish food option here in Arlington"
"I usually get them to go and the food is awesome! My go to are the shawarma wrap/ sandwich. Sometimes I order the combo. The only downside is sometimes they put wayyyyyy too much onions. Like a bunch. When that happens I have to pick them out. I'll try and remember to tell them light onions and more vegetables next time. Still, I love how this place opens till 3 am and how good the fries are."
"We were going to the Heard Museum for Halloween and stopped here along the way. The wife identified this place on Yelp and what a wonderful find! This restaurant is outstanding in every respect. Truly an excellent experience and worthy of more than 5 stars. If we lived closer, we would be here once a week. The interior is very attractive and gives a homey vibe. There are definite signs of a Middle Eastern restaurant but it is not gaudy or overdone.Service was excellent. We were seated and the waiter appeared shortly thereafter. His English was perfect and his demeanor was gracious and polite. Throughout the meal it was easy to get his attention for something we needed. The food is stupendous. Beyond outstanding. Beyond amazing. Beyond "awesome" (the most overused word in the English language). It was nothing short of stupendous. We started with the trio appetizer, which is three dips: roasted red pepper (the menu says spicy but it is not really spicy); hummus; and the eggplant dip that I can never spell correctly, but the one that starts with a "bag". You know what I mean. All three dips were excellent, and they came with a type of Syrian bread that I had never seen before. It was hot and went perfectly with all three dips. I had the shish taouk which is seasoned cubes of chicken breast. Oh my gosh, it was the best I ever had. By far. The chicken was very flavorful, so tender, so moist, so utterly delicious. It came with delicious rice, all served on very attractive tableware. At $23, my first impression was that it was a bit pricey but after eating it, the quality and even quantity was worth every penny. The wife had the lamb shank and she loved it. The lamb was cooked to perfection, very tender and moist. It was high quality lamb. I am not a lamb person but I tried a bite and the meat did not have the strong flavor that you sometimes get with lamb. The price was $30 which I thought was high but again, the quality was worth it. It came with the same rice as I had, plus some bean soup. Everything was absolutely delicious. The portion was so large that the wife took it home and got two lunches for the week. This restaurant is quite a drive for us or I would return the day after. We are definitely going back and I hope it will be soon. This restaurant is an absolute gem. The wife and I joked that we should move to Allen just to be close to this restaurant."
"Excellent food. Great service. Dharmesh took care of us. We had the American Breakfast."
"AWESOME SHWARMA! The bread is so soft and delicious the service was a normal type place nothing to write about, and the ambiance is a great local spot type of vibe. I definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a good shwarm! I went on a youtube foodie vlog and they were doing a video on Middle East food and my mouth was drooling. Hence I looked what was around me and this hit the spot!"
"Sevan G&G is a hidden gem in Dallas. I am so sad that I have lived in this neighborhood for over a decade and didn't know about Sevan G&G Cafe until now. It's run by the sweetest family and the Mediterranean food was legit. Quaint atmosphere and BYOB. For all of you celiac and gluten free folks out there, everything on the menu is gluten free aside from the tabbouleh and the pita bread. This is now going to be one of my regular spots."
"Date on a diet! The aesthetic of this place is cute & perfect for a date. The chicken skewer was good, they brought the chicken out on a grill stick & placed it on the plate nicely hot & fresh. The salad was not good at all, tastes like it still needed to be rinsed. I noticed people around me also left the salad alone. My favorite part was the desert! One of the best baklava's I've ever had! Service here was good, they came around often to check how everything is going. It's a good place to check out if you haven't already."
"Such a small mom and pop restaurant with a big heart.Start with a FLAMING Cheese Saganaki! Literally delicious! The pita is fresh and the cheese is creamy! (See pic)The best part of this place is they treat everyone so well! The customer service is fantastic. It helps that the food is delish, too.A special (dinner meal) comes with FOUR sides. F.O.U.R. not 2. So you will be full. Trust the process. Not sure if I got all the pics, but we had shrimp skewers, baked tilapia, and salmon (our party of 3. My only recommendation is for the green beans to be fresh... with the seasoning and way it is prepared, canned or frozen beans wither easily. I'm It's a little off the beaten path but easy to get to and a pleasure to enjoy!"
"Sahara is the epitome of never judge a book by its cover, because based on the area it's located in it's easy to feel reluctant to want to dine in. Once inside though all of your worries wash away & are met with inviting staff and comforting decor. What's cool about Sahara is that it's both a restaurant and a market, so you can shop authentic Persian/Iranian produce while you dine in or wait for your to go order. Today I tried their $15 lunch special, which comes with your choice of protein - rice or salad & two sides. Everything was made to order and fresh, was well seasoned and well proportioned. I have no complaints. I was also finally able to try some potato tahdig, which was a highlight for me because a lot of middle eastern places in the DFW metroplex don't serve it to guests. If you're in the area, give Sahara a go."
"For starters the food is perfectly cooked, authentic, and full of flavor. Everything was well seasoned and perfectly tender. The appetizer selection offers 11 items to choose from The Turkish coffee and tea were spot on. I was greeted at the door with welcoming embrace and provided with kind service. The atmosphere is very well lit during day outs and plenty of space to not feel crowded. Definitely a must try!"
"Late night food means late night customer service. It's normally pretty quiet but can get pretty busy. Food is great and never have had a bad time. It was super late when I came in with my sister and the cashier had auto gratuity on us whenever we were paying out at the end. If you're adding it, don't ask us to tip kthx. Otherwise great food."
"Amazing flavors! The chef really knocked it out of the park! Staff is helpful and friendly. Surprisingly quiet lol but very beautiful inside. The lighting is gentle and the music isn't too loud."
"With only 5-7 tables in the dining room, cuisine prepared by a creative and daring master chef, and a professional waiter who actually serves from the left and removes from the right (what a concept!), Gorji is close to a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Expensive, yes, but the no-tipping policy reduces the pressure on your wallet down to that of dining in almost any other up-up-upscale restaurant. The duck breast was the best I've ever had, and my wife enjoyed the sea bass, which was prepared and presented in a manner neither of us have seen before. We wouldn't mind at all if Chef Gorji mandated upscale dress for his diners, in keeping with his upscale restaurant. But sadly, those days are nearly gone. Few people "dress for dinner" anymore, though the Gorji experience certainly deserves it."
"We stopped here for lunch on the way home from the kid's swimming competition in North Dallas. The restaurant had been closed for renovation but now is open (October 27, 2024).The ambience is clean and minimalist. Our server explained that they plan to get some plants and decorations that will spruce things up a bit. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday about noon. We seated ourselves and the waitress came shortly thereafter. The menu has all of the regular items you expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. The child had a starter of hummus and pita. The hummus was really good, lots of garlic and the right consistency. The portion of pita bread was generous. She liked it a lot. The wife and I split a starter of falafels (3 to an order). It came with a smattering of hummus and harissa sauce, plus a small salad. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad.I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it. Prices were very reasonable."
"Came in today to do a take out order for Mantu and Badamjan(fried eggplant). Both items were very delicious! First, the Mantu is basically a dumpling type bun filled with meat along with tomato paste, yogurt, lentils, and spices. The serving you receive is big enough to be a meal on its own. And it's incredibly satisfying as well! The Badamjan with Naan was amazing as well! They also have Kebob, rice, and baklava. The location was clean and well kept. Definitely recommend trying this location out. You will not be disappointed!"
"Wow, if I lived in Dallas this would be the goto for shawarma. Delicious and a fabulous portion of food that am struggling to finish. I ate in and the restaurant was clean and orderly. The fountain drinks provided extra refills and I ordered a meal with a Lebanese salad expecting a little bowl and it's a whole plate. There is no way you can walk away from a combo plate feeling hungry. Monday thru Friday from 11-3pm you can get any plate for 11.99. This place is a fantastic deal for lunch and dinner."
"Alright I will rate what I got, and my gyro plate was 10/10! I got the gyro with white rice and chickpeas, and told him to make it spicy. First of all, DO NOT SKIP ON ADDING CHICKPEAS! It's probably the best side they have. The gyro itself was juicy, flavorful, and fresh. Service was very quick and friendly, and this was at 11 pm so it stands for something! Definitely recommend checking it out!"
"Lovely. Elegant. Familiar. Nestled in Snider Plaza is this subtle gem. How did I miss it? So cozy. The atmosphere is welcoming and a table is warmly waiting for you. Gentle flavors, smiles and repeat customers grace refill this space. Yelp reviews drew me in. It's good isn't it. Cozy home kitchen table experience and bring a friend."
