Everyone enjoyed the food! If you come, you have to get the empanadas! I really enjoyed the empanadas here, especially with the sauce. I absolutely loved my paella. We met some neighborhood regulars who highly recommended the margaritas and made some dinner suggestions. The bar in back was busy with the football game on. And our server was great. Out of all the joints in DFW, Munay by far makes the best version. You can taste the seasoning with every bite, even down to the deepest sections of the breast. The Aji sauce is addicting and offers a nice spicy quick to the chicken. The Chaufa de Pollo hit the spot just right. Hot on arrival and packed with flavor. Tasted like it was cooked in a wok. 10/10 recommend."

That wasn't an issue as I could order pollo en mole y dos tamales in my awful Spanish. The problem when she asked "here or to go". Thankfully a guy in line next to me helped me out.The chicken was tender and mole sweet, spicy and delicious. The black beans were savory and the rice was fluffy. The tamales were a Guatemalan version and they were fantastic. I can't recall the cost of my giant horchata, but it was reasonably priced and paired well with my meal.Seating is spartan, but this not a place you to dine. This is a place you go to eat delicious food at a reasonable price.There is a on the left side as you enter with the bakery and various items like Guatemalan soda and snacks.I think I was the only non-Hispanic in there and that is wrong. More, different people should be enjoying this food."

"hard to find this restaurant, it's actually in the little condo complex on the lake. very cute on the outside, hot af inside... i dunno if their AC was broken or if they just don't have AC but it was hot and uncomfortable. plan on doing to go. the pina coladas were delicious and the food was good at reasonable prices. the tequenos were very yummy and the ceviche was great. i woudl skip the arepitas. cacapa was good but quite heavy. overall, it was pretty good, but i think i would try somewhere else first before coming back."

I can't say that was blown away - I thought it was just ok and didn't have much flavor. I ordered the half chicken with fries and a salad. When I got home and opened the container I noticed the fries were soaked in grease as if they were not done cooking so I tossed them in the air fryer for a bit. The chicken was a little dry and the salad was basic with a mayo type dressing that I didn't care for. The green sauce that came with the chicken was also a little bland for my taste."
