"WHAT I ORDERED: Osam (spicy squid and pork) and Beef Soondubu PARKING: Parking lot INSIDE: Mom and Pop shop, great pictures of the food items hung on the walls, friendly staff as she took our order and called out when the food was ready. There's a rack to put your tray of dirty dishes when you're finished eating near the entrance. THE FOODS/DRINKS: The complimentary barley tea was refreshing, the osam had great flavor, not too spicy at all, but my favorite was the soondubu or tofu soup. It was rich in flavor and didn't skimp out on actual tofu and beef pieces."
"We love this place! Highly recommend! Their meats are premium and having it cooked on a charcoal grill makes a difference. I personally love their jap chae - definitely a fav of mine!"

"Love the restaurant, staff and food. Make sure to say hi to Baby Yoda and let him show you the force The food is fantastic. I'll definitely come back. I ordered the bento box and it was amazing."
"Went here with my family to celebrate. The staff was wonderful and the service was great. Our server was Jasmine (could have been Jazlyn). We had attention from the sommelier and discovered two new wines. I had the Nuri tasting board that was a sampler of four of their steaks. So so good. I also had the grilled okra. Again, really good. We had creamy mussels, crab cakes, Yukon potatoes and their incredible rolls. All was so good. The only thing I noticed was that they didn't have high chairs - my 14 month old grandson joined the celebration. I don't ding them for it. Children may not be Nuri's ideal customer. I just made note and share in case someone wants to bring a little person. Very nice steakhouse. Will be back."
"My husband and I came here during lunch when the City of Richardson was holding its Lunar New Year's festival in the Chinatown parking lot. The place was very busy. Despite this, the woman in charge was very kind, let us know how long we might have to wait (about 15 minutes), and then seated us promptly. Food is delicious! We shared a meal. We ordered the combo beef bulgogi and soft tofu soup. You get to choose the type of soft tofu soup, so we selected vegetables. We were asked what level of spiciness we wanted on a scale of 1-3. I selected 2. It wasn't spicy for me, but my husband said it was a bit too spicy for him. The soup is served in a hot stone bowl, so it stays very hot throughout the entire meal. A raw egg is provided for you to crack and place in your soup to cook and mix in as you wish. The Beef Bulgogi is sweet and comes with lots of white cooked onions. A bowl of rice is provided on the side along with an assortment of pickled or marinated vegetables like kimchi and cucumbers. I wasn't able to identify all of the items. They are served cold, but all were appetizing. There is a call button near each table. We were able to press the button to get our waitstaff's attention. This was handy because they forgot to bring our cokes and glasses. We had a pitcher of water at our table the entire time. The restaurant is quite big with large private booths. There are a few televisions on the wall showing videos of Korean pop-stars performing. The sound was muted and no captions were on, but it was still amusing to see the costumes and choreography. Other traditional items adorned the walls like fans and lanterns. It's a very casual restaurant and family friendly with lots of high chairs for kids and tables large enough for groups. We would like to return to sample other items on the menu and try the place when it isn't as crowded and busy."
"I stopped by for lunch over the weekend and was thoroughly impressed. I ordered the 3 plate combo with Beef Tartare, Pork Belly and Uni Bibimbap. I also added on the 6 piece wings. Both the Beef tartare and pork belly were prepared perfectly, and went great with the rice from the bibimbap. They gave a good amount of uni in the bibimbap. Now the wings are AMAZING! Crispy, great flavor, juicy on the inside and not overcooked. I will be back"
"Great restaurant with nice staff! We were gifted chicken skin on the house! Food was good and we liked the idea of being able to play games to win drinks. Would recommend!"
"date visited: 09.13.2024ordered: soy garlic wings quantity was good but the sauce was so thick and gritty that it made the wings soggy. the batter was also too wet in my opinion, but the quantity is decent for the price.service took forever even though we were one of the only groups seated. radish cost extra and also the kimchi banchan was watery and a bit bland. their dry wings (the yangyum in particular) looked a lot better. fries were fine. would go somewhere else esp if you're in the carrollton area!"
"We came today for the tofu and spicy pork bulgogi combo! The restaurant was busy but they got us in without waiting for a long time :) I really like how clean and bright this place is. The food is delicious and well balanced with great selection of banchan.Beef Tofu: very tasty and flavourful but a bit saltyBulgogi: a little dry but very good stillService: they were busy so it was a little hard to get their attention. Still, they did get us extra jap chae and got the bill on time. Will come again soon! Especially when it's not so busy because I think it might be a home run for us since it's a good restaurant to grab Korean food."
"Lee Dae Gam K BBQ & Shabu takes Korean barbecue to a whole nother level. They do a phenomenal job with their table side Korean barbecue as well as shabu-shabu. The service is excellent. All of their food is Super Fresh and very delicious. They are specially clean in all areas of their business from the prep stations to the serving stations everything is spotless. Now let's talk about our dining experience the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very very pleasant. I can't wait to go back to Lee Dae Gam K BBQ & Shabu because the food was such a phenomenal dining experience and it was also so tasty."
"This place is legit, homemade, authentic Korean food. Everything is fresh and their sides (banchon) are second to none both in variety and taste. The kimchi is one of the best I've had anywhere. I drive all the way here from Frisco because it's that good. It's located in a very modest shopping center but don't let that fool you. It's amazing!"
"The food at Ari is solid. I normally eat at Ari with family, and every type of meat is delicious. I also love that you get a bottomless serving of side salad consisting of spring mix lettuce, as well as the usual side dishes (banchan) that are typically served at Korean restaurants. A cool feature here is the space on the borders of the grill for cooking eggs and cheese with corn. The kids especially seem to love them.I'm finally writing this review because, after frequenting the Plano location of Ari countless times, we recently came to the Carrollton location, and I could not help but notice the impeccable service. Our server made sure we always had eggs and cheese with corn cooking on the side, and we never had to ask for more water. In fact, I don't recall having to ask the server for refills or extras of anything. Kudos to the staff at the Carrollton Ari. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Korean barbeque."

This is by far one of the best BBQ places in DFW. They cook everything with white charcoal.I haven't been here since before the pandemic, but man. The quality here blows my mind and I'm mad I've been going to mid places in Carrollton instead of here. They have the best banchans and meat selections!! Seriously!! MAD BUSSIN don't go anywhere else! Them potatoes HIT I got some bad photos but that's because my mouth was watering and I couldn't wait to eat. That's how good it was. Even the salad was so good. I felt so healthy chowing down dat bussin lettuce. Oh and don't get the white rice cause the purple rice is where it's at.On top of the food quality, our waiter, Joel, was super attentive and friendly. He cooked the meat for us and would make sure we are doing ok. Let me speak to the manager cause GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE RN!!!!! Overall, our experience here was great.Anyways. I posted this place on my IG last night and everyone swiped up asking where this place at. I hope the business here flourishes, we will be back! (And I hope yall will still have the potatoes) EDIT: I also had to mention that I didn't leave smelling too much like the grill. How yall do that? Thank you Koryo!

New favorite spot! Delicious udon noodles , great portion sizes for the meat, tasty salad, and filling bento boxes. Their curry sauce is thick and creamy. Their meals also come with a warm and savory miso soup bowl. Their potions are very well balanced. It was my first time trying soupless udon noodles and cheese filled pork Katsu! The lady at the cashier was super kind explaining the menu to us. It's very well decorated , and i appreciated the images with the names of the dishes on the way. It made choosing what to eat even more difficult since everything looked so delicious ! But now I know I have to come back and try other dishes.

Nuri Steakhouse is an upscale steakhouse with Korean influences located in the heart of Dallas. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and is one of the beautiful places I've eaten at. Combined with exemplary service, it ended up being a dining experience I'll remember for a long time.My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return)Atmosphere - Nuri Steakhouse is located in Uptown Dallas. Inside was one of the most opulent restaurants I've ever been to. The bar and dining area were separated by an open wall as my eyes were drawn to the immaculate light fixtures above. Plenty of pretty Dallasites dine here, blending into the Asian\New Orleans themed restaurant perfectly. This is a place to visit to enjoy food and drinks, atmosphere, and people watch. 1 Star.Service - The Executive Chef is from a Michelin Star restaurant in Korea, and I've seen all 3 seasons of The Bear to know how much attention the front of the house pays to its guests. It's not good service, it's a great experience. Our servers were experts on the menu, remembered our names, and were efficient in preparing our table settings between courses. 1 Star.Food - Imagine Korean and Texas Southern Hospitality had a love child conceived in New Orleans - that's the menu at Nuri Steakhouse. The dishes are creative and delicious. My dinner began with Wagyu Dumplings. The succulent dumplings were filled with a mixture of Texas Wagyu, pork, & truffle, and waded in a creamy herb sauce. The mixture was so tender and mild, and with a small dip in the herb sauce the bite melts in your mouth. For the main, I chose the Nuri Tasting Board. This was the star of the evening, served in a beautiful box with samples of Australian and Texas Wagyu, Korean marinated short rib, Korean kim chi, and assorted dipping sauce. The steak was tender and succulent, and the Nuri Tasting Board is a perfect item to share if you want a good sense of Nuri's flavors. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. This is a true steakhouse, while I only tried the Nuri Tasting Board, Nuri offers American, Australian, and Japanese Wagyu by the oz. There are also traditional steaks too. It's not cheap, but it shouldn't be. Nuri is an epic dining experience, and I will be back. 1 Star.

Got the fried chicken wings and fries. A little pricier at two dollars per win but the flavors and good and the fry is good. Service is 10/10 I thought it was going to be slow/ lackluster because they were a little empty and a bit slow to greet/ get our table BUT they were so nice and food came out steaming very fast. The hot garlic soy is way better than the normal one. The fries are battered really well. I asked for radish and they brought me so much and it was very yum!

Servers are fast and super nice vibe. If you're looking for a fun thing to do that's new on the weekend come here! There's usually a dj playing and everyone is so nice. You can play games and bet bottles of soju/beer or food. The weekdays are much slower but we still won a bottle from a table. Concept is nice, and clean restrooms! No one can beat me at rock paper scissors

This restaurant has such a cute and unique interior and I love how the restaurant is moderate size yet they made it spacious. We ordered the half and half (yangyum&honey garlic) and green onion chicken. The half and half chicken were super crispy and green onion chicken had one of the best marinated green onion I've ever had. To top it off, the service was great too! The servers came by in rounds to ask if we needed anything. This is definitely a good hang out place with friends!

"Got in line to be seated at 2:55pm. Was asked to join the waitlist as they were backed up in the kitchen. On the waitlist for 15 minutes. Were charged for dinner which starts at 3pm and is more $$Food was delicious. Have to ask for more sides and condiments. Service was very slow because there were not enough servers. 4star for food -1 star for poor management"
"17 years later after being the first review of Dal Dong Nae, I'm still coming back for their late night Korean food goodness. After a long day at work I can count on this place to stay open late and provide me sustenance. We ordered the pan fried dumplings to start, then spicy pork belly and a beef rib soup. The dumplings were crispy and had a thin skin which is barely holding in all of the still moist filling. The spicy pork belly is spicy, but not too spicy to make me sweat. Eating with a bowl of the multigrain purple rice helps to bring down the heat. The soup had large chunks of rib meat with bones and love the flavor of the softened radish in this soup! Of course I'm not eating this all by myself, but have the help of my wife. Well, I think our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and ordered too much food. We're having to take a lot of food home. You won't leave hungry! I think before we ordered we forgot about the full spread of ban chan that they provide to go with your meal. Over the years I believe the ownership of Dal Dong Nae has changed hands, but their newer owner Jeanie is an experienced Korean restaurateur in the Dallas area that keeps up, if not improving the menu and flavor that this restaurant has provided over the years. It has a home-cooked feel like an auntie provides."
"One of my favourite fried chicken spot. As I get older I try to stay away from fried food or eating super late... however, I love this place! And I've missed it! Was in the area and thought of this place around 9.30pm? So glad my bf was like okay let's eat! The fried chicken here is always fresh! And they double fry it to make sure it's crispy, crunchy and juicy!!! I always get the original or original spicy. You can't go wrong. Today we ordered a half of that and half yang yum chicken. Make sure to get extra spicy! 10/10!The curly fries were so crispy and seasoned! My fav was their crack chicken nuggets. The cheesy powder and spicy seasoning was night but the meat! Fried sooooo well!!!Can't wait to go back for another cheat day!"
"Everything here is AMAZING! The beef pancake, the spicy beef noodle soup and pork belly are a must!!!!Great service and wonderful environment!"
"My friends and I came here for a late night dinner and it definitely didn't disappoint. They have these private booths with doors that close and it made the experience feel even more unique. The food was AMAZING. The bossam is a must - best I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and go try their food"
"Really enjoyed it.My wife found a list of the top 10 Dumpling restaurants in the DFW area. We were dropping someone off at Dallas Love Field and decided to try nearby Hong Dumpling House. The gentleman the took our order at the counter was very pleasant and helped us choose.Their menu is small. We decided to try 3 different sets of dumplings. Each set came with 6 dumplings. We had:- Mandu (original): Filled with ground pork and vegetables- Shrimp Mandu: Filled with shrimp, ground pork and vegetables- Kalbi Mandu: Filled with marinated ground beef and vegetablesWe were told the order would take about 10 minutes and it was pretty spot on. In the mean time, we helped ourselves to some plastic flatware, napkins and chopsticks. We also grabbed a couple of drinks from the self-serve cooler. Our meal arrived. In addition to the dumplings, we were each served a small dish of their special soy sauce. We both ate 1 each of all 3 sets of dumplings. Honestly, they were all real tasty and we couldn't really pick a favorite. The gentleman at the counter took my payment after confirming what we had ordered and what drinks we took. I asked for a box and he gave me a large clamshell take out container lined with a piece of parchment paper and a small container of the soy sauce.Next time we try Hong Dumpling House, we will add the Spicy Squid Manu as the picture of it looked real good too."
"Not Asian fast food but Asian food FAST!!!And WOW what a menu! They have everything-Rolls, Bowls and wok dishes. Even mochi for dessert. Their drink menu is also very extensive from slush & smoothies to every kind of tea ( milk , matcha, Thai, Taro...) The service is friendly and fast. They also have a drive thru and online ordering"
"My go to place for AYCE Korean BBQ. It has a fun hectic vibe and can definitely be loud with k pop and the crowd, so it may not be the best choice for people who are wanting to have meaningful conversations over food. There's usually a wait on the weekends but it's not as long compared to Gens, and no wait during the week usually. You can pick whether you want regular choice of AYCE or premium with more options. I find the things I like in regular options anyway, so that's what I always go for. I have seen some tables order a la carte meats as well they have Japanese A5 Kobe and some other premium meats, and they looked great! One of the better steamed eggs and kimchi/soybean stew for AYCE restaurant. All of the various meats we've tried have been excellent, and my favorite is their beef tongue. I have noticed they tend to serve way more servings of meat per order when you order marinated meats rather than non-marinated, so be mindful when ordering. One of the fun charms of this place is their well known ramen stations. You walk up to the ramen wall and pull out a ramen of your choice, and make your own ramen using the machine and the topping bar. Super fun concept and a must experience for a carb top off after consuming meat. Moodaepo also has fun cocktail menus such as their watermelon soju. Definitely a haven for good korean bbq and drinking! I think this is the best option for Korean BBQ in terms of atmosphere, value, service, and fun."
"I love that this is an AYCE late night option. The food was good, service was slow at the beginning but once we started ordering everything was a lot smoother and quick. My friend and I went around 10:30pm and were there till close to midnight. Only one other table was there when we first got there but then tables started filling very fast around 11/11:30p. For the price, I have to say, it is pretty expensive for what you get compared to the other KBBQ places in the area. But everything I had was good. It wouldn't be my very first option when picking AYCE kbbq, when there are so many options in Carrollton, however, if it's late night of course I will be going here. They did not have the tanghulu on the Friday evening I went. That was a little disappointing. Overall nothing terribly bad to say, just expensive for what it is when you have a lot of other kbbq options, but worth a try if you're in the mood for KBBQ late night."
"Absolutely amazing food ,had the garlic ribs and kimchi soup highly recommend and will be back Service was great and ambiance to"
"I came here for lunch and not the all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was good despite the exterior part of the building looking rough: I ordered basic Korean dishes like a classic bibimbap and a clear noodle soup. Both solidly delicious. Same with the Korean sidedishes served as an appetizer. The interior of the restaurant is huge. Looks like they have a second floor as well. And Sura was empty during weekday lunchtime. If you're looking for good Korean food and don't want to deal with the crowds at Carrollton, then I'd recommend Sura."
"Very good!! We lucked up on Dong Bo Sung since the place we were initially going had a wait. We came here and were seated immediately. It quickly filled up after we arrived. We placed our drink orders, asked a few questions about the menu, and ordered. We had the fried dumplings, noodles in black bean sauce for 2, spicy chicken, and orange chicken. The noodles in black bean sauce could have been eaten by 3 or 4 people. It was a lot of food, and good food. Everyone enjoyed what they had and we have plenty to take home for another meal. We will definitely be back!"
"Every Wednesday, Cashew's parents look for a date night away from the three monkies. I decided to give this restaurant another chance after they didn't serve us because they had a party that day, yet had their restaurant open. The place is located in a strip mall with many businesses, so parking can be an issue depending on the time you go to eat. We arrived and the place was empty. The young man is very friendly yet asks weird questions like, "Are you gonna eat?" This place has no menus, so you need to do a QR code. The bathroom is located in the back next to the kitchen. The young man suggested appetizers, and so cashew's mom asked for dumplings (5) appetizer. The dipping sauce truly helped the flavor of the dumplings, which are very small. I got the burrito and wife the chicken pieces. The burrito had a very nice mix of Korean flavor with Mexican style, and the chicken pieces had no flavor besides the dipping sauce. Cashew's mom liked the chicken pieces. The place is good and prices are adequate. The young man works hard and looks to make your stay a pleasant one, so I would recommend this place. I'm just careful. If it's full, they can't deal with large numbers."
"Amazingly beautiful cool atmosphere. Very good drinks, loved the smoked old fashion and Jell-O shots. My favorite dish was the scallops risotto...yum!!!The Baos were delicious, specifically the Braised Pork Belly and Korean Fried Chicken. Lamb shank Korma...wow!!Service was efficient and extremely pleasant. Overall our party had an exceptional time and plan to go back soon."
"I've been here 3 times so far for lunch and all my orders have been to go. Placing an order is very easy, I prefer to call and they usually have it ready within 5-10 minutes which works great. I love teriyaki but not many places offer this in DFW.So far I have only tried the chicken teriyaki plate and spicy chicken teriyaki plate but it has been consistence and overall good in terms of flavor and taste. Only downside I've experienced is that the spicy chicken teriyaki isn't spicy at all. It tastes the same as the regular chicken teriyaki. I would save the extra dollar and just opt for some sriracha on the side or something. All condiments are self service and everyone working there is very friendly. I would recommend checking this out if you're looking for a new teriyaki spot"
"I've ordered takeout from this place three times in the past two weeks. It's consistently delicious and always packaged with care. The servers are incredibly efficient, ensuring you get your food promptly, even when the restaurant is busy. Thank you Omi team."
"Good chicken, vibrant atmosphere, and great service! The original wings were surprisingly flavorful and had a good crunch on the fried exterior. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of the signature sauce, and the sauce took away from the crispiness of the chicken. Both wings however, were still very juicy. The boneless cheese flavor was my personal favorite, as the powder was extremely cheesy with the texture being just as good as the wings. There was also a full bar with TVs around the restaurant, so it would be a great place to sit down and watch a game."
"Delicious and great service on this cold gray dayYou hit the door with beautiful smell of searing meat Colin was our server and was very prompt and very good as well as coverage from other servers nearby for our group of eight or nine Easy to get plenty of food quickly tasty and fresh"
"Pretty good little lunch spot in a fairly industrial area. Burgers are a nice size, plenty of options for topping and a condiment bar. No frills decor with reasonable prices and tasty."
"Best wings in texas!!Been con in my here for years and the food it always fresh, the fries are always perfectly cooked."
"The food has been great the several times I have gone in for lunch! The staff is very helpful and gets things done quick and properly to make sure you are served your food. On the weekends, the food court for 99 ranch can get VERY crowded in the parking lot and you might not have a chance to relax and eat peacefully. If you go, I'd recommend a weekday to have a quieter and relaxed experience than having to struggle for parking and then shop around while it's super crowded and try to find a seat in a crowded food court."
"I went with a few friends for lunch, the food was delicious. The service was great, we were checked on often and had a variety of pickled vegetables. The ambiance is nice, I was impressed with the fixtures and door knobs"
"A great alternative to going to hibachi! Good, quick and yummy! Service was nice, we always do takeout. Never stayed to eat but takeout was great!"
