"My good friend of mine - Byron S told me about this place called - "No. 1 Plus Chicken", so Bruddah man had to check 'em out!Are ya a fan of Korean Frrrrrrried Chicken? If so, then No. 1 Plus Chicken got ya covered!Located at a small strip mall in Dallas, you'll find many other Aisan eateries, as well as a Korean supermarket at this small strip mall.As I walked into No. 1 Plus Chicken, the small little restaurant was packed with folks, so I decided to do take out & eat my grub at my hotel room.Looking over the menu, I decided to get a 10 piece chicken wings with Yangyum sauce (sweet & spicy sauce) and a side of onion rings. What can I say about the grub? The Korean Frrrrrrried Chicken wings was OUTSTANDING! Good flavor, & very meaty pieces of chicken! As for the onion rings, the serving size really surprised me, as the serving was HUGE!Service here was on point, as the clerk who took my order was friendly & had advised me that my food order would take approximately 20 minutes or so (my actual time was a lot faster).Cravin' for KFC?Give No. 1 Plus Chicken a try!Bruddah Fran gives 'em a "shaka" sign!"
"I've ordered takeout from this place three times in the past two weeks. It's consistently delicious and always packaged with care. The servers are incredibly efficient, ensuring you get your food promptly, even when the restaurant is busy. Thank you Omi team."

"I came here for lunch and not the all-you-can-eat buffet. The food was good despite the exterior part of the building looking rough: I ordered basic Korean dishes like a classic bibimbap and a clear noodle soup. Both solidly delicious. Same with the Korean sidedishes served as an appetizer. The interior of the restaurant is huge. Looks like they have a second floor as well. And Sura was empty during weekday lunchtime. If you're looking for good Korean food and don't want to deal with the crowds at Carrollton, then I'd recommend Sura."
"Great location off Lemmon Ave. The food here is always fresh hot and delicious. I got a huge chicken soup for about $14. It's definitely a lot of food and I would recommend this location"
"Nestled in a lively strip mall in Carrollton, Texas, Ddong Ggo is the ultimate Korean bar experience. The moment you step inside, you're greeted by a relaxed yet buzzing atmosphere, filled with the cheerful chatter of friends enjoying their night out. It's the perfect spot for good times and great food. The drink menu is a highlight, offering a variety of Soju in fun flavors that keep the party going. But the food truly steals the show. The Cheese Island is a must-try, featuring massive chicken wings surrounded by cheesy corn--pure comfort food bliss. The spicy chicken is equally impressive, delivering a flavorful kick. For something a bit different, the spicy fried tofu is a crowd favorite, as is the savory seafood pancake.Ddong Ggo is more than just a meal; it's an experience. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious Korean dishes with friends, this is the spot."
"Had a craving for Korean food on a recent trip to Dallas so I checked Yelp and found Maht Gaek in Plano. It's located in the Ranch 99 supermarket shopping center. We arrived just before the noon lunch rich and got seated right away. They were busy throughout lunch and a constant line of customers waiting for a table. The service is fast and efficient and the food comes out fast. Only downfall is the tables are small and the four top we sat at could not hold all the dishes we ordered. BBQ pork ribs 5 stars their signature dish. Meaty grilled pork stacked on a hot plate. Oxbone soup 4.5 stars great bone broth could have had more toppings and noodles. Sautéed calamari 5 stars large portion spicy sweet. Grilled mackerel 3 stars good portions a bit dryBanchans we're good especially the eggplantService was good. Plenty of parking."
"Every Wednesday, Cashew's parents look for a date night away from the three monkies. I decided to give this restaurant another chance after they didn't serve us because they had a party that day, yet had their restaurant open. The place is located in a strip mall with many businesses, so parking can be an issue depending on the time you go to eat. We arrived and the place was empty. The young man is very friendly yet asks weird questions like, "Are you gonna eat?" This place has no menus, so you need to do a QR code. The bathroom is located in the back next to the kitchen. The young man suggested appetizers, and so cashew's mom asked for dumplings (5) appetizer. The dipping sauce truly helped the flavor of the dumplings, which are very small. I got the burrito and wife the chicken pieces. The burrito had a very nice mix of Korean flavor with Mexican style, and the chicken pieces had no flavor besides the dipping sauce. Cashew's mom liked the chicken pieces. The place is good and prices are adequate. The young man works hard and looks to make your stay a pleasant one, so I would recommend this place. I'm just careful. If it's full, they can't deal with large numbers."
"This is the fam's go to Korean BBQ place as we don't really do buffets. My favorite is their bibimbap. Staff giveaways complimentary mugi ( barley) tea. Appetizers keep changing but they are usually healthy.Lunch time is usually busy. Servers are friendly."
"BBBop is a cute Korean itchen located in the Bishop Arts neighborhood of Dallas. It's very spacious and they get your food out quick. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and they gave us great recommendations. We started with the Soy Garlic Krispy K Wings. The super crunchy, lightweight skin soaked up the soy garlic sauce and each bite was an explosion of flavor. They also have other flavors: sweet chili, sweet, and spicy chili or seoul fire. For entrees, we enjoyed the Spicy Chicken and Dumplings and For Realz Steak bowls. Be prepared for some heat with the chicken and dumpling, but it's good, flavorful heat. The chicken was tender and it created a cool texture with the dumpling pieces. We got the steak in a hot stone bowl ($2 extra) and it comes out still sizzling. Beware the hot stone keeps the dish hot for awhile and it takes a minute until it's a comfortable temperature to eat. It creates a layer of crispy rice on the bottom, that's so good. It has that traditional bulgogi beef flavor, fresh veggies and fire sauce that make that make an excellent dish. I look forward to visiting BBBop again; next time I want to try the Coconut Curry Bop Bowl and a Joy ice cream sandwich for dessert."
"Great service, free kids meal, food is pretty good and huge portion. It was 80% full during Sunday dinner time"
"WHAT I ORDERED: Osam (spicy squid and pork) and Beef Soondubu PARKING: Parking lot INSIDE: Mom and Pop shop, great pictures of the food items hung on the walls, friendly staff as she took our order and called out when the food was ready. There's a rack to put your tray of dirty dishes when you're finished eating near the entrance. THE FOODS/DRINKS: The complimentary barley tea was refreshing, the osam had great flavor, not too spicy at all, but my favorite was the soondubu or tofu soup. It was rich in flavor and didn't skimp out on actual tofu and beef pieces."
"The design of this fast casual chain was really cool. The tailgates and crate doors were very cool. The food was fresh and super yummy. Got 2 pieces of tempura shrimp & the steak & shrimp hibachi. Only thing I wish they offered is a mixed tempura appetizer instead of having to order by the piece. Service was efficient."

Not bad for a KBBQ place in Dallas. My friend recommend me this place while I'm in town. She's been coming to this place, because the taste has been consistent good. There is an option of them cooking the food in the kitchen and bringing it out to you or you can grill it at the table. I prefer grilling at the table because you can cook it to your liking and it's nice and hot. The staff actually helps grill majority of the order. Both the prime rib and pork belly tasted pretty good. It was perfect amount that fed 3 people. Their banchan are delicious and my favorite is their eggplant and tofu. They make kimchi fried rice at the end of the meal, so don't forget to save some meat for them to mix it in! If I'm back in town, I wouldn't mind coming back again.

This is our favorite Korean BBQ all-you-can-eat !Good amount of parking because it's in a plaza. They have French fries!!It's difficult to find an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ that also has: French fries, ginger dressing for crunchy lettuce salad, AND beef bulgogi. All our favorites. Most meats are available to grab from buffet line, so there is no waiting to get more cooking. They switch out the grill plates often. There are side items to order from a screen, such as dumplings and more edamame. Order is placed immediately from screen at table. Decor is minimal and plain. I think only half of the restaurant has BBQ tables, but all tables upstairs are available to grill. We made a reservation for late afternoon 5 people, but we went early another time and didnt need one. Thank you!!!

Ok so if there was a sixth star I would give it that because it was that good! Basic no frills ramen place with a K-pop theme. The service and the food are top notch. We ordered the garlic miso ramen soup and the veggie ramen soup with veggie potstickers you can add more items to your ramen and they even allow you to customize the heat level. I would definitely return again! I wish they had one back in Arizona !

The customer service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. We were promptly greeted by the staff, and they were quick to respond when I used the call button at our table. The ambiance was lively and dimly lit, with great music that transported me straight back to South Korea! The honey butter chicken wings were a bit on the pricier side, but absolutely worth it -- they were flavorful, fresh, and made with high-quality ingredients. The tteokbokki was also delicious, with the perfect balance of spice in the sauce. There's plenty of parking, and the bathroom was spotless. I'll definitely be back!

The beef short ribs are delicious! I had them as a suggestion from my wonderful waitress! The price and amount for the lunch menu was perfect. They give you refillable sides of pickled eggplant, kimchi, cucumbers, and bean sprouts. Also comes with white rice. I sat at a table in the corner and it was perfect for me. I'd return and order the hot stone soup when the weather is cooler. Drop an egg in while it's still boiling! Delish!I like that there is no TV to cause distractions. Nice to ease drop on the conversation around you. It's enlightening! People are strange creatures. They are closed on Tuesday! All other days of the week are fair game!I returned a second time and it was just as good! I'm already craving another night to try something new! This is my new favorite place. July 2024

We stopped by during Christmas. One of the few spots open! Great service, the workers grill the meat for you. Lots of sides. A salad, soup and rice bowl come included for each person as well. As well as the scrambled egg bowl. On the pricey side but worth it!!

"I loved my Korean dining experience at Musiro. We were seated immediately and served promptly. We ordered the spicy pork and cold noodle combo, seafood pancake, and tofu soup.Portions are very decent and Korean flavors in the food are bold and present. The tanginess of the cold noodles balanced out the spiciness of the pork. The seafood pancake was nice and crispy with the aroma of fresh seafood. You can always judge a Korean restaurant from its banchan. Our food came with 6 different dishes. And the owner personally refilled our dishes once we ate it all.I appreciate the attention and friendly service from all the staff here. I will definitely be coming back."
"Was craving some Korean bbq and this one was closest to us while visiting Texas. The place doesn't look like much but the wait time was short and the service was excellent. Our waitress was super adorable and helped us with our orders and making sure our bowls of sides were always replenished as well as meat order. The food was delicious. The price was only $25 for all you can eat.An added bonus, they offer military discount too.Would recommend this place . Can't wait to come visit again."
"This place is legit, homemade, authentic Korean food. Everything is fresh and their sides (banchon) are second to none both in variety and taste. The kimchi is one of the best I've had anywhere. I drive all the way here from Frisco because it's that good. It's located in a very modest shopping center but don't let that fool you. It's amazing!"
"17 years later after being the first review of Dal Dong Nae, I'm still coming back for their late night Korean food goodness. After a long day at work I can count on this place to stay open late and provide me sustenance. We ordered the pan fried dumplings to start, then spicy pork belly and a beef rib soup. The dumplings were crispy and had a thin skin which is barely holding in all of the still moist filling. The spicy pork belly is spicy, but not too spicy to make me sweat. Eating with a bowl of the multigrain purple rice helps to bring down the heat. The soup had large chunks of rib meat with bones and love the flavor of the softened radish in this soup! Of course I'm not eating this all by myself, but have the help of my wife. Well, I think our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and ordered too much food. We're having to take a lot of food home. You won't leave hungry! I think before we ordered we forgot about the full spread of ban chan that they provide to go with your meal. Over the years I believe the ownership of Dal Dong Nae has changed hands, but their newer owner Jeanie is an experienced Korean restaurateur in the Dallas area that keeps up, if not improving the menu and flavor that this restaurant has provided over the years. It has a home-cooked feel like an auntie provides."
"My spouse and I went here for lunch on a weekday recently and had an awesome hot pot experience. We tried their signature broth and the miso broth, ordering a handful of meats that our server brought out. The most impressive part was the cold bar that was fully stocked with fresh veggies, sprouts, eggs, and a wide range of seafood items, as well as a sauce bar that must have had over a dozen different options to try. I loved that the veggie bar was self-serve because I like a lot more veggies than my spouse does, so I was able to fill up on whatever I wanted while he was cramming his face full of meats. All in all, we had a great time and would return. My only complaint was that they no longer have a reduced lunch price for their menu; it's just the same flat price for all you can eat on the shabu side or the KBBQ side."
"Everything I've eaten here is very good. I've had almost everything on the menu and by far the best is the sweet and sour pork, black bean noodle, and spicy seafood noodle soup."
"A great alternative to going to hibachi! Good, quick and yummy! Service was nice, we always do takeout. Never stayed to eat but takeout was great!"
"Camera did not eat first in my picture so please excuse the half eaten meat plate! Burnin 92 is an open wood fire grill concept KBBQ place! Each combo you order comes with a salad, lettuce wrap, lots of yummy banchans, an order of corn cheese, egg soufflé, and soybean soup. Service is super quick and they open until 12AM every night! Definitely a place to check out and get your KBBQ late night craving out of the way!"
"Cool hidden gem in Frisco. Food and service was excellent! We got a chicken ramen and passion fruit tea, delicious very fresh."
"Nice laid back place. Good customer service and the food came super quick Rose Rice Cakes combo: the best on the menu. I'm glad I didn't get the spicy on because this one has the perfect amount of kick to it. I love the texture of chewy fish cakes & crispy tempura. That sauce is perfection, Wings: Soy BBQ garlic was my favorite. Seoul hot was good but not really spicyWhole squid fries: I love whole squid but the batter was too thick. Also, I'm just not used to this type of batter in general.Overall great chill vibe, would definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!"
"I've been here 3 times so far for lunch and all my orders have been to go. Placing an order is very easy, I prefer to call and they usually have it ready within 5-10 minutes which works great. I love teriyaki but not many places offer this in DFW.So far I have only tried the chicken teriyaki plate and spicy chicken teriyaki plate but it has been consistence and overall good in terms of flavor and taste. Only downside I've experienced is that the spicy chicken teriyaki isn't spicy at all. It tastes the same as the regular chicken teriyaki. I would save the extra dollar and just opt for some sriracha on the side or something. All condiments are self service and everyone working there is very friendly. I would recommend checking this out if you're looking for a new teriyaki spot"
"Not Asian fast food but Asian food FAST!!!And WOW what a menu! They have everything-Rolls, Bowls and wok dishes. Even mochi for dessert. Their drink menu is also very extensive from slush & smoothies to every kind of tea ( milk , matcha, Thai, Taro...) The service is friendly and fast. They also have a drive thru and online ordering"
"Dined here for the first time tonight and we enjoyed our meal - and will likely return! It's nice to finally have a good Korean place in Frisco that isn't KBBQ or AYCE This place reminded me a lot of BCD House but less options and much closer! We ordered the bulgogi entree, galbi combo with soontofu, japchae and steamed egg. Their soontofu was so flavorful and the tofu, wow, literally silkier than some of the other places I've had soontofu at. Service was great; they came around and checked on us a few times. Ordering was easy and the food came out in an orderly time. We'll be back!"
"My husband and I came here during lunch when the City of Richardson was holding its Lunar New Year's festival in the Chinatown parking lot. The place was very busy. Despite this, the woman in charge was very kind, let us know how long we might have to wait (about 15 minutes), and then seated us promptly. Food is delicious! We shared a meal. We ordered the combo beef bulgogi and soft tofu soup. You get to choose the type of soft tofu soup, so we selected vegetables. We were asked what level of spiciness we wanted on a scale of 1-3. I selected 2. It wasn't spicy for me, but my husband said it was a bit too spicy for him. The soup is served in a hot stone bowl, so it stays very hot throughout the entire meal. A raw egg is provided for you to crack and place in your soup to cook and mix in as you wish. The Beef Bulgogi is sweet and comes with lots of white cooked onions. A bowl of rice is provided on the side along with an assortment of pickled or marinated vegetables like kimchi and cucumbers. I wasn't able to identify all of the items. They are served cold, but all were appetizing. There is a call button near each table. We were able to press the button to get our waitstaff's attention. This was handy because they forgot to bring our cokes and glasses. We had a pitcher of water at our table the entire time. The restaurant is quite big with large private booths. There are a few televisions on the wall showing videos of Korean pop-stars performing. The sound was muted and no captions were on, but it was still amusing to see the costumes and choreography. Other traditional items adorned the walls like fans and lanterns. It's a very casual restaurant and family friendly with lots of high chairs for kids and tables large enough for groups. We would like to return to sample other items on the menu and try the place when it isn't as crowded and busy."
"Best wings in texas!!Been con in my here for years and the food it always fresh, the fries are always perfectly cooked."
"Delicious and great service on this cold gray dayYou hit the door with beautiful smell of searing meat Colin was our server and was very prompt and very good as well as coverage from other servers nearby for our group of eight or nine Easy to get plenty of food quickly tasty and fresh"
"I've only had two other Korean fried chicken spots . This place is pretty good. I othered the drumstick meal. The chicken was sweet and crispy . I enjoyed it. The seasoned fries were pretty good with parmesan cheese. You get a lot of food for the price . My only gripe is the crazy issues with parking in the area . It's next to Addison Improv, which isn't convenient. I would go back however when events aren't going on. Service was good but I ordered through Uber Eats for pickup . Clean restaurant."
"Everything here is AMAZING! The beef pancake, the spicy beef noodle soup and pork belly are a must!!!!Great service and wonderful environment!"
"Pretty good little lunch spot in a fairly industrial area. Burgers are a nice size, plenty of options for topping and a condiment bar. No frills decor with reasonable prices and tasty."
"I found this place when I was randomly out nearby. I don't think they offer the best ways to order food for a single person. There's no combos for sides, and I think they're over priced. I paid around $16 for 8 or 9 wings, you couldn't split flavors, and the flavor I chose had 1 heat level but was deff a 9 on the tongue & I like spicy. I'm not sure if that was a mistake or what. The inside was ok to sit and eat but I probably won't be back. The flavor and chicken was good but overall wasn't worth it."
"Good chicken, vibrant atmosphere, and great service! The original wings were surprisingly flavorful and had a good crunch on the fried exterior. I wasn't a huge fan of the flavor of the signature sauce, and the sauce took away from the crispiness of the chicken. Both wings however, were still very juicy. The boneless cheese flavor was my personal favorite, as the powder was extremely cheesy with the texture being just as good as the wings. There was also a full bar with TVs around the restaurant, so it would be a great place to sit down and watch a game."
"craved black bean and went to this place self service for sides and water it was the perfect cute place; especially after watching so many kdramas and cooking at home all the time (when i say cute i don't mean pink anime asethics but like a typical restaraunt that didn't over for their decor and let the food speak)the crispy pork was def crunchy and black bean had perfect amount of flavor without being overly salty or sweet"
"I love that this is an AYCE late night option. The food was good, service was slow at the beginning but once we started ordering everything was a lot smoother and quick. My friend and I went around 10:30pm and were there till close to midnight. Only one other table was there when we first got there but then tables started filling very fast around 11/11:30p. For the price, I have to say, it is pretty expensive for what you get compared to the other KBBQ places in the area. But everything I had was good. It wouldn't be my very first option when picking AYCE kbbq, when there are so many options in Carrollton, however, if it's late night of course I will be going here. They did not have the tanghulu on the Friday evening I went. That was a little disappointing. Overall nothing terribly bad to say, just expensive for what it is when you have a lot of other kbbq options, but worth a try if you're in the mood for KBBQ late night."
