But we rolled the dice and walked in anyway... and let me tell you, saying I'm glad we did is like calling the Grand Canyon a ditch. This place has layers, folks! The energy and vibe here? Absolutely electric, off the charts, and just about every other overused phrase you can think of.We rolled in as a party of 15, and they handled us like pros, no sweat. The entertainment? Spot on. Now, I've read some whiners griping about the prices. Newsflash: this isn't McDonald's, folks. If you're looking for a value menu, you're in the wrong place. The prices here are right in line with any other establishment worth its salt."

The only downside is sometimes they put wayyyyyy too much onions. Like a bunch. When that happens I have to pick them out. I'll try and remember to tell them light onions and more vegetables next time. Still, I love how this place opens till 3 am and how good the fries are."

Stephen W. "We stopped here for lunch on the way home from the kid's swimming competition in North Dallas. The restaurant had been closed for renovation but now is open (October 27, 2024).The ambience is clean and minimalist. Our server explained that they plan to get some plants and decorations that will spruce things up a bit. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday about noon. We seated ourselves and the waitress came shortly thereafter. The menu has all of the regular items you expect at a Mediterranean restaurant. The child had a starter of hummus and pita. The hummus was really good, lots of garlic and the right consistency. The portion of pita bread was generous. She liked it a lot. The wife and I split a starter of falafels (3 to an order). It came with a smattering of hummus and harissa sauce, plus a small salad. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad.I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it. Prices were very reasonable."

First, the Mantu is basically a dumpling type bun filled with meat along with tomato paste, yogurt, lentils, and spices. The serving you receive is big enough to be a meal on its own. And it's incredibly satisfying as well! The Badamjan with Naan was amazing as well! They also have Kebob, rice, and baklava. The location was clean and well kept. Definitely recommend trying this location out. You will not be disappointed!"

I showed up at 12:22 and let them know I was here and to my surprise they didn't check their order system to see if any orders had came in. No apology and was just told to wait 10min. As soon as I walked about that when we got the email and text saying my order was confirmed. So I knew it was a restaurant issue and not that they didn't get notified. They just didn't check. After waiting almost 20min the food was finally ready. We ordered 2 - chicken tikka masala and 2 - chicken curry and garlic naan. The garlic naan was burnt. The chicken curry was horrible pieces of meat and none of it came with rice???I paid about $72 for all of this and it was just horrible. Would never go back!"

I ordered the lamb platter which included tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, lettuce tomato onion over rice with white and red sauce. Service was cordial and the food was ready fast. I recommend getting the sauce on the side. Otherwise everything gets so messy and the sauce overpowers the flavors of everything else. As far as the food, the meat tasted stale, like it had been sitting on a warmer too long. The tomatoes and veggies also didn't taste very fresh. I guess if you want fast, you sacrifice in freshness. With so many dining options in the area, I expected more. Location is good, service was fast, food not up to par - 3 stars"

Laura C. "We stopped here on a whim, as we cruised Lower Greenville, looking for something different, something new to eat.The exterior of Ariana didn't really leap out at us; but the idea of Homestyle Afghan food did. The interior of Ariana has been spruced up; but it didn't strike me as somewhere to dine in. It was cold temperature wise and the subway tiles and the one lone metal table with four metal chairs didn't help warm it up. The low slung couches against the wall with low tables in front didn't work for us either. So, "to go" it was, as the menu seemed to be amazing. The afternoon we were there it was the Chef Mother and her Daughter running the show. Most food was cooked to order it seemed with the front handled by her oldest. Frankly, I had to lean in to what I already knew about Middle Eastern food to ask intelligent questions about the menu; but it was still a little difficult to grasp the flavor profile from the daughter.Although they call the well seasoned and flavorful Qorma sauce "curry," it's not like any curry that I've had to date. My husband's Chicken Qorma was wonderful braised dark meat chunks (with a rare bone chip or joint piece) in a deep red tomato sauce that was rich and a little oily. The rice was perfect. The accompanying salad was uninspiring and undressed. We ordered these terrific ground beef stuffed dumplings to share called Mantu Dumplings. Shaped similarly to a tortellini, they were steamed and topped with lentils in a savory tomato sauce. There was a tzatziki type sauce with the 7 of them and they were absolutely delicious.I eventually decided on the Chapli Kabab. Since our order was to go, every box or dish was really a surprise, as we had no expectations. The Chapli Kabab turned out to be two grilled patties that were spicy, tender and so very good. They came with a small mound of very tasty fries, the same, but limper, uninspiring salad and two sauces - a thin spicy vinegary sauce that we didn't care for and a bland cilantro sauce. The Chapli Kabab also came with what I think was Afghan Naan. Actually, I Googled everything we ordered, and more from the Ariana menu, after we got home to see what we were eating for sure. The Naan was not like Indian Naan. This was BREAD. It had thick edges like a pizza, and was chewy and dense. I read about what you are supposed to do with it to eat it and it's purpose is very similar to Indian naan, so my husband tried some with his curry. Very. Chewy. The end result was that we liked all the flavors and the moderate prices. The food was generally well prepared and it traveled well. The online menu certainly has piqued our interest and we'll definitely be back."

Marianne P. "This place is not instagramable by any means, but it has the BEST paneer tikka masala (and chicken). Hands down! I will pass 10 other Indian restaurants to come here. The first time we went, a man (I suppose an owner) came out and gave us a bunch of delicious sides to try and chai tea. THE TEA...sooooooo good!! It's hot, creamy, spicy, rich, and delicious!!! I would go every day just for the tea if I could. Covid safety: This last time we went, they had plastic face shields in front of the register, gloves were required upon entering (and provided), and there was also hand sanitizer by the register. They didn't have any tea, BUT, it is the middle of a winter snow storm and Idk the min amount they have to make. Maybe it's a lot...but I would have gladly taken it off their hands. Also, I don't order off a particular menu (because there are 3.) I just ask for the paneer and chicken tikka masalas. Get the garlic naan!! Tip: one order could be enough for 2 people with 2 sides of naan. (If you're not that hungry.) That's all!"

Hannah N. "My first introduction to Indian cuisine was here many years ago. I had the lunch buffet and since then it has become one of my favorite cuisines. I love how flavorful and warming the Indian curries are and the satisfying bite of warm, fluffy naan dipped in them.Located in a little shopping strip, I was happy to find that this place was still open after all these years when I stopped in last week for the lunch buffet ($8.99.) We walked in and a gentleman gestured us to seat and help ourselves. There was nobody else there and it looked like we were the first customers at around 12:30pm. One other customer came in as we were leaving. This was surprising, because I recall them being quite busy for lunch before. The offerings were limited, though what they did have was good. The biriyani and tandoori chicken were still the star items for me. The chicken was flavorful and not dry at all like a lot of other places. The curries were tasty but was unfortunately barely warm. For dessert, they only had kheer, but man was that kheer delicious! I wish there were gulab jamun though. The only time we saw the staff was when a lady dropped off a basket of hot, fresh naan. The dining area is not in view of the counter. There was no clearing of plates or even asking if we wanted something to drink. Everything is self served. They have room temperature water in a dispenser on the buffet. Cups and utensils are also there along with napkins which are also at the table. Some may like this setup for a quick lunch option. We did. Would I come back again though? Probably not any time soon. I've had the pleasure of dining at many other places that offer more variety and awesome service. Although the food here is solid, this place doesn't even try to welcome you. Maybe it's better as a to-go option from now on but I'm not in the area much."

Also had butter chicken. Again, tasty but a very small amount of (5 small chunks) to sauce ratio. We like some spice but most dishes were just way too spicy for us.
