Located in a busy newish plaza, I was totally unprepared for the wonders inside. I chose baba ganoush, Greek salad, and root vegetables paired with a sauced chicken and the whole thing was amazing. I realized too late I probably should have chose falafel because that's something I don't get at home; or just all veggie sides because they were so amazing. "My wife always wanted to come and eat here. This place is hidden on the back side of the building as we were trying really hard to look for it. Prices are not too bad for what you get as we did get full off of the meal. I order the gyro plate and my wife the kebob. We ordered the zucchini and also the donuts. I would recommend all of them. The service was awesome as our waitress was very kind."

For all of you celiac and gluten free folks out there, everything on the menu is gluten free aside from the tabbouleh and the pita bread. This is now going to be one of my regular spots."

My only recommendation is for the green beans to be fresh... with the seasoning and way it is prepared, canned or frozen beans wither easily. "Sahara is the epitome of never judge a book by its cover, because based on the area it's located in it's easy to feel reluctant to want to dine in. Once inside though all of your worries wash away & are met with inviting staff and comforting decor. What's cool about Sahara is that it's both a restaurant and a market, so you can shop authentic Persian/Iranian produce while you dine in or wait for your to go order. Today I tried their $15 lunch special, which comes with your choice of protein - rice or salad & two sides. Everything was made to order and fresh, was well seasoned and well proportioned. I have no complaints. I was also finally able to try some potato tahdig, which was a highlight for me because a lot of middle eastern places in the DFW metroplex don't serve it to guests. If you're in the area, give Sahara a go."

"Having dined at Spitz numerous times when visiting the Minneapolis area, I was completely unaware that a couple of locations have opened in the DFW area. Once I discovered this, I quickly made plans to stop by for some delicious eats. Per the staff, this location opened a little over 6 months ago. For those who are unaware, as I was told by staff at location in Minneapolis, the best description of the menu at Spitz is 'Mediterranean Street Food'. Whatever way one decides to describe it, just know it contains lots of delicious eats. The Spitz menu consists of wraps, salads, gyros, wings, etc. All meats are halal certified and they have a vegan menu plus gluten-free options. Similar to the Minneapolis location, this one also contains a bar consisting of cocktails, wine, sangria, and numerous beer options.This location has indoor seating that consists of table/chair setups plus bar seating. Weather permitting, there are also table/chair setups, outside on the sidewalk patio. The outdoor area is dog-friendly. As for decor, there are there are splashes of bright colors along with a few murals throughout the space which just helps enhance the laid back feeling. There are two restrooms which are not gender specific. This location is part of a fairly new strip mall and has plenty of parking in the shared lot. On my first visit to this location, I went during 'off-hours' so upon arriving I was the only customer. I placed my order at the bar (I ordered my favorite item, the Street Cart Doner wrap with beef and lamb wrap), was given a card to put at the table so they know where to deliver which order. After paying, I chose a table and waited for my food to be prepared and brought to the table. As it was my first time at this location, the staff assured me wrap would be as delicious as I remembered from the Minneapolis location.Speaking of staff, everyone was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the menu. Add to that, they exhibited a great deal of pride in what they were doing along with the brand.After a short wait, my order was brought to the table and it was everything I remembered. In addition to being super tasty, it was also very filling and it took me back to my first visit to the Minneapolis location. The only thing missing was a mural of Prince. Going forward, this Spitz location will be in my rotation of fast-casual healthy eats."

Food comes to you and they'll bus your table after you're done. We ordered takeaway and it was all packed up for us, ready to go in less than ten minutes. Gyro was a great value, really fresh and a good size. Grilled beef was cooked well, not dry, and plentiful. Harissa chicken was on-point with flavor, spice, and heat--taste buds intact, this will be ordered again! Hummus was fresh and creamy, but we regretted getting the pitas toasted. Rice and tomato-cucumber sides were tasty, too! No lie, though, we were bummed Taziki's doesn't have French fries. Lol. There's just something about a gyro, tzatziki, and fresh fries that hits different. ;)Overall, we enjoyed our meal from Taziki's and will be back for gyros and fresh pitas soon!"

I ordered the Greek Lemon Chicken Soup + Mediterranean Salad. The soup is chock full of herbs and lemony zest, tender shredded chicken, and basmati rice. It normally comes with pita bread but I'm GF so I passed on that. The salad was fresh and included garbanzo beans, candied pecans, and feta cheese. (There are 3 salad options and I can definitely recommend the Mediterranean.)My hubby had the beef gyro + potato chips. The gyro was loaded up with juicy, tender, perfectly seasoned beef, and the chips were fresh and delicious.For drinks, you can choose from fountain sodas, sweet or unsweet tea, bottled Topo Chico and Pellegrino including plain or orange flavored in the can. They also have desserts like baklava, cheesecake, and cookies. A really great menu! We'll definitely be back."

Their prices are affordable, $10.99 to $18.99.As you enter, you encounter the menu printed in large, colorful print on the wall; the flow of the restaurant is circular counter with the fresh pita bread being the second encounter here. At this point, I am 100% hooked! If you look towards the back of the fresh pita offerings. you can see the oven where these magnificent breads are being baked! Oh my! What a perk! All platters, come with 2 pita breads! As you proceed down the counter, you can see the appetizer section, followed by the side choices, and finally the meat selection choices. Almost at the payment section at the end, there are some desserts and freshly baked offerings. The whole place was like a candy store but with delicious Mediterranee food! Amazing!You give your meal selections to the server, who will place the side dishes together on your plate, while the meat is served separately. This particular evening, I chose 1 meat platter with 4 sides! What can I say... I wanted to try it all in one sitting!My platter consisted of hummus, falafel salad, crisp cauliflower, rice, and chicken. I loved it! The portion for me was enough for 2 meals.
