"This is a cool little place, it's basically a trailer out in the middle of the country, and they have dang good burgers! I hate that they don't have french fries, because this burger would be so good with fries, they also do not have a fountain machine, they have a ice chest full of soda. Not ideal but again, the burger is the bomb.The burger is pricey, but worth it, I recommend this place and will be returning."

"I brought my work team of 5 here to commemorate Black History Month through our support of a local, black-owned business. We didn't have an issue with service being slow like some of the other reviews mention. We had a wonderful experience at lunchtime on a Wednesday. The restaurant was near empty. The waitress sat us quickly and brought us carafes to refill our waters. Background music was great and the perfect audio level for weekday lunch. We got a free appetizer of the corn muffins with honey butter, which are just so delicious. And lunch itself was yummy. My gumbo was a little saltier and spicier than my personal preference but the sweet cornbread muffins balanced it out for me. The gumbo was served with dirty rice, also yummy The team also ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the fried catfish meal. Servings were generous and everyone really loved their dishes. We were out the door maybe by 1:15pm? So total dining time of about an hour. It was totally within timeliness expectations for a corporate lunch hour. Don't hesitate, and check out Southern Gourmet Kitchen if you're in the area!"

"I'm not a big fan of BBQ but everything from this place was mouth-watering deliciousness!!! I was at the Truck Yard in Lower Greenville and they happened to be around. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, pulled pork nachos, and 2 meat meal with jalapeno sausage and brisket. The ribs had a nice smoky flavor to it and was full of flavor. The nachos were a bit on the small side but everything in it was great - definitely order it with the pulled pork! The brisket meat was soft and succulent. And the jalapeno sausage was spicy and had a nice kick to it!I'm salivating as I write this review!!! Lol I can't wait to try out this place again!!!"

"This review is for a takeout order while visiting in town nearby. Very easy to order online or over the phone with staff. Picking up only took 2 min or less.I figured getting a momo was necessary since that's the name of the joint. I think they were so flavorful and delicious! The paneer and chicken were the best. Some other amazing dishes I highly recommend are the butter chicken, chicken buryani, and paneer masala! We did medium heat and it has a good kick, but not too overpowering the flavors were just right. Don't forget some garlic naan to dip into your sauce! I'd go here often if I lived in town!"

"I was surprised with ribs, potato salad, beans and fixens for lunch today. Folks, I never even got any of it on a plate. Once I sampled a bite of each, there was no time to waste transferring the food to a plate. The two of us just stood over the food and ate straight out of the the containers. Each bite was the most delicious. Don't forget the BBQ sauce. I was dipping the raw onion slices and pickles in that sauce! Full of flavor and a little needed spiciness. "Cute name. Im visiting Dallas and a friend of the family recommended this place and took me here. I really appreciate the simple menu. We placed our orders and the food all came out as we ordered and was pretty fast. We tried a variety of tacos, elote and a quesadilla. The hot sauce was pretty spicy according to one in out party that had it. I stuck with the mild and it added a nice tang. Would probably come here again but maybe eat in your car or take your food to go if it's windy like it was today!"

I love how the bowls have a variety of rice, noodles, meat and vegetables so it is a lot to eat, it was packed! I could even say it's two servings & it was very satisfying. I enjoyed the flavors and quality of their ingredients. They were so kind and gave me samples of their mandu for free, which I actually hoped for. "Okay I've been wanting to check out this food truck to see what all the hype is about!! It is located a little off 380 in front of Eskimo Hut. Well it is about the fact that they have really solid BBQ!! I wanted to try it all so I got the Chubby platter ($20) which is brisket stuffed potato, sliced brisket, sausage, ribs and chicken. I subbed the chicken for extra brisket. I also had to try their brisket tacos ($2 off taco plates on Tuesdays) cause it is taco Tuesday and do I really need an excuse to get tacos!?! The ribs are super tender but the meat will not all fall off as soon as you take a bite as it should be!! It's on a bone for you to eat it from!! Lol. The brisket is spot on! Juicy tender!! Really good!! The loaded baked potato was so delicious !! The tacos....AMAZING!! Like REALLY amazing!! I am so glad I finally stopped by!! Check this place out!! You won't be disappointed!!"

"I wish I could give D Jackson 5 stars but the meal I received fell very short when it came to the sides. I ordered a two meat plate of brisket, ribs, potato salad and greens. Now I'm fully aware we can't always expect food to be cooked exactly the way we grew up on BUT they seriously need to change their potato salad recipe. Never have I had potato salad made out of frozen hashbrown diced potatoes, shredded carrots & whatever else was added. The potatoes were still hard which is a big no. Instead of cutting corners just get a big pot & boil down some nice russet potatoes. No shredded carrots & light on the relish. The greens also fell quite short. Although meat was added there was absolutely no meat flavor in the greens, which is ironic. Maybe the meat is added after the fact. I can't say exactly what else they needed but they were not it. I tried to doctor up the sides but instead just threw them away. However, on the other hand the meat was pretty decent - 7/10. I was looking for more moisture & a smokey flavor. The portion size was right on which I am glad of because that's the only part I was able to eat & enjoy once some BBQ sauce was poured on top. I really was hoping to rave about this place because of the hype of prior reviews but I honestly don't see myself returning. Hopefully my suggestions are taken into consideration."

"Went to this place a couple of days ago with a couple of coworkers. There are a few decks to sit out by the food truck, and two portable heaters around. One of the heaters was not working too well, unfortunately, but they had said they were fixing it and should be up within the next little bit. We ordered, and sat down with a timer buzzing. The buzzer went off with each plate, about 5 to 10 minutes apart. That part of the service was a little lagging since we were not all able to eat together. The food itself was very tasty and well made with quality ingredients. The overall was pretty cost efficient and tasty. The dosa was very fresh and flaky. The ambiance was what was expected in terms of very cultural to this food truck. Highly recommend it."
