"The salty is easily the top two or three specialty donut places in Dallas. Solid staples and good rotating flavors."
"The food is great. The toasty is huge. They really love to make signs! And cannot tell you a minute early what the special donut of the day will be."
"Came here for a craft event and had such a great time. The burritos were so good and the matcha latte was amazing!! Better than most coffee shops I love it. Pretty art on the wall and great service from barista here. Overall fun time and positive experience. Thank you!!"
"Thinking of going to Starbucks? Just don't. This place has better drinks and better food. The owner is so nice. WiFi code is available at the front. Drive through is available. Plus it's slightly cheaper."
"Super cute small business in Lakewood with a delicious variety of fresh donuts! They also do special decorations and croissonuts!"
"I was one of the many fans of Carte Blanche before it closed, so I was eagerly awaiting La Rue Doughnut's opening day, which ended up happening on a weekend when I was out of town. Finally was able to make it out twice in the past month and got to try many of the different flavors on offer -- so glad to report that the baked goods remain some of the best in town, especially our beloved cruller! The brioche doughnuts are pillowy and light and all the various flavors are super balanced and work well together. The only "sad" part for me is how often flavors rotate -- wish I lived closer for the excuse to drop by more often. The Elvis doughnut from October and the lemon pistachio brioche from the latest seasonal flavors were so good, as is the permanent butterscotch toffee brioche. Loved the cookie we tried in October as well. Even the gluten free offering is a wonderful texture and flavor! And of course the kolache is an absolute unit, super savory sausage with a lovely za'atar seasoned dough. Can't wait to stop by again soon to try the next round of new flavors!"
"The Salty Donut is located in the bishop art district area so the vibes and aesthetics are there. It's a really chill place with unique donut options. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with umbrellas. The staff is friendly and helpful.I was fighting the urge to order everything on the menu but every choice we ended up making was delicious. The strawberry shortcake was my favorite. I usually don't like filled donuts but these were tasty. They're not too sweet and the frosting doesn't taste fake. The bbq bun is a must try if it's still available. It's like the char siu bao from dim sum but southern Texas bbq style. Highly recommend making a stop if you're here."

This place is a whole vibe of a donut. Donuts made right there fresh in house, your mouth is watering just by looking at everything! No wonder it's the Salty Donut ....cause I'd be salty ....if I was here! You pick from an assortment of donut holes, seasonal donuts, and classics.... Super hot, fresh and delicious! We pretty much ordered every donut in house and the kolaches made with brisket and sausage! - Huge selection of coffee, tea, cider, and champagne! This is not your typical donut shop, so come to sip, and enjoy! Tons of inside space for a party and out patio too! This place is where all the magic happens! Big shout out to the entire staff ....it took us about 30 minutes to place all of our orders and amazing service was from start to finish! We dinned in 10+ deep! Had a chance to have some fun, take pictures and enjoy the vibe'. ...We will for sure be back! I must say if you're a fan of brisket, you will love it...but bring some BBQ sauce in to dip! this place is a 10 out of 10!

This is the donut spot in The Colony! They have everything and everything is delicious. If you are craving a delicious, fresh donut then you need to go here! It is located in The Rice Bar but who cares! Come breakfast and then come back later for a meal. Seeing the glass displays of all the yummy donuts will make it hard to pick just one. The inside is very clean and has many tables to sit at so you can Have your donut and eat it too.

Great coffee and great service! Got a matcha latte, dirty chi and a Vietnamese coffee. All were really great, but the Vietnamese coffee topped the list. Staff were also so friendly and helpful. They even added sugar for me when I forgot to ask.

Drinks are a little bitter. I asked the lady to mix the whipped cream n the drink and she said no. Then the girl said she needs to ask permission? Lol you are blending a drink, whats so hard about mixing the whip you usually put on top, into the drink? Lol.Never coming back. Scooters for the win!

I know how good this spot is from visiting the one in Orlando early 2021; so as soon as this donut shop pulled up in my Yelp search as being nearby my hotel, I jumped in the car to make my way to donut heaven. I love asking the staff what their favorite selections are. The girl behind the counter had amazing suggestions, and put up with my inquisitive sugar fixation very kindly. She suggested to get the pumpkin donut bc it's on its way out, and it ended up being my favorite of all I tried. Sooo savory, fresh, melt in your mouth flavor. Not too much pumpkin, had a nice slight cinnamon flavor but mostly a brown sugar butter taste that was the perfect fall/winter donut. Also loved the seasonal gingerbread latte! I had a sip of my significant others vanilla latte, and his was amazing as well. (I still liked mine better bc it was festive) If you are in the Bishop street neighborhood of Dallas, be sure to stop in for a quick sugar high ; )

"Love Spring Valley Donuts. The family who owns it and runs it, is super friendly and the donuts are great. The place is very clean, and they always have a nice variety of stuff.I also really appreciate the inexpensive prices, because the area can get pricey. If you want to be the office hero, stop by Spring Valley Donuts on your way to work!"
"These ladies are beyond amazing! They are so sweet and patient with everyone. They have beautiful, amazing custom donuts out fresh every morning, whether it's for a holiday or just something fun for the kids, like a spider man donut or Cookie Monster. I believe they also do specialty orders if you call ahead of time. My favorite thing to get is the Jalapeño kolache, soooo good, nice and spicy! My newfound favorite though is the cinnamon roll donut holes. I didn't know such a thing existed and it's the perfect pick me up with a cold bottle of chocolate milk. They have tons of drink selections here from hot chocolate, to Red Bull, Gatorade and many other things. They also have breakfast sandwiches and burritos that they will heat up for you to make for a quick on the go breakfast."
"The donuts here are soooooo good! We've tried a variety and have zero complaints. The customer service here is great. Prices are reasonable. We try to come every weekend."
"This is the local donut shop of all donut shops in our area! Korean owned and they have created some of the best croissants and kolaches. Everything from bacon, ham jalapeño, in a variety of ways. Check them out! It's not your average donut shop! And it's super clean and well run/organized. I highly recommend this establishment for your "go to" donut shop."
"Decent donuts with a very strange to go food container. Would like to see more variety with the overall offering, and would like them to be given in something other than a generic to go food container from the fire festival.Great service from great employees in a great location! Will be back but wish they would get a couple of things fixed."
"I can't even count how many donut places I drive past to come to Cotton Candy donuts. They're amazing, the staff is kind, and the donuts are the best"
"A hidden gem. Awesome donuts, prices, and staff!Beef rolls available, in addition to sausage. Love this place."
"Me and my 7 year old stopped in because we had seen pictures and it did NOT disappoint! Literally the most adorable, girly place ever. Perfect for a sweet pick me up with lots of options! It's a little pricey - 3 mochinuts (Korean style donuts) for $10. Obviously not the same price point as your typical donut shop However!! The atmosphere is obviously meant to be an Instagram dream for the teens and 20-somethings that love to do that kind of stuff. It has photo ops galore! They had about a dozen flavor options for mochinuts out and I think they rotate flavors. We had chocolate, raspberry, and mango and brought leftovers home. They're sweet without being overtly sweet, and the texture kind of reminds me of a non-greasy funnel cake. Crunchy on the outside but not super dense. We really enjoyed it. My daughter also got a strawberry yogurt shake, and they had samples of their oolong and jasmine iced tea which was FANTASTIC. They also have games to play like uno and jenga - we played a few rounds and it was so fun! They also serve a ton of different Korean style hot dogs and cheese sticks. They looked fun and I'd definitely come back to try. I have two young girls so I think this summer we will have to come back for a fun mid-day mommy daughter date! Also I love the entire strip center - Korean bbq and another dessert place just opened up. You could literally go sample stuff from all the places nearby and make a date out of trying something new."
"Can't believe no one has reviewed this location yet! I live right next door to a SMD, but this one is worth the drive because it offers breakfast tacos and burritos (with choice of sausage, bacon, turkey bacon, chorizo and potato), migas, and other breakfast plates, in addition to kolaches (small and jumbo) and the regular standard donut fare. I ordered one bacon + egg + cheese taco to try today ($2.49), and it came with a tiny cup of homemade green salsa. SO GOOD! Definitely going back for a burrito next time (which is just $4.99). What a surprise find in the Design District!"
