"Went in on a Saturday for a late breakfast. The place was packed, but we got a table. I ordered the whole hog omelet, my wife had the eggs Benedict. My omelet was very good and well cooked. The hash browns lacked seasoning. My wife's Benedict left a lot to be desired. The egg was cooked hard, and the English muffins were too tough to saw through with her knife. The star of the show was the biscuits. I could eat my weight in them! The server was attentive and very courteous, making sure we had everything we needed, including drinks to go. The atmosphere is full-on old school diner. Lots of people and lots of food. We'd go back if we were in the area, just might make some different food choices."

"Just Wow! Scratch made biscuits. I was thoroughly impressed. Kept it basic as we were late to breakfast but two eggs, sausage and biscuits filled me up. Thought about rolls to go but forgot and I think that was a huge mistake. Lunch was coming out as we left and those looked great. Great service and my coffee cup was never empty. Small restaurant that is well maintained and the sayings on the walls are classic. We highly suggest you stop in for a meal!"

So when my friend suggested this spot for dinner, I was thinking we should save this for a special occasion weekend brunch kind of day instead. Little did I know, they serve breakfast all day! The inside was cozy and dineresque with a nature theme. The dining area was pretty large and spacious. The menus are printed on what looks like a newspaper and they include calories count for everything. They even have smaller portions for some of their dishes which is great if you're not too hungry or if the calorie count shocked you like it did me. Pierceson was our server and he was a super cool guy. He gave us some suggestions and was patient with our questions. Even though I was excited for breakfast, I wanted to try the dinner offerings too. In the end I opted for my beloved Benny. This one was the California Bacon eggs benedict which came with the standard English muffin and poached egg along with thick cut bacon, avocado, spinach, and grilled tomatoes. Now, the Hollandaise sauce was a let down as it was broken. The dish was still tasty but visually not appealing. The country red potatoes were delicious. My friend enjoyed her chicken fried steak meal. Overall, great addition to the area for breakfast any time of the day!"

"I came here today for the first time. I love the ambiance! It reminds me of the diner back in a day in a very nostalgic way. I love supporting the independent businesses verses chain. They have so many items on their menu, but I decided on Migas since that's one of my favorite dishes. It was so delicious. I've had many Migas, but this one was definitely on my top 3! The salsa was spicy and delicious! My server, Miss Penny Ann was so friendly and attentive. She asked if I wanted dessert and I asked her what she had and she named so many desserts they offer and the last one was Banana split, but I didn't want a big one, so she made me a personal little one just for me!! The other staff and the owners are so nice and welcoming! My visit to this establishment was a total success and great experience. I will definitely return to try other items on my next return."

"There are so many good things to say about Mama's Daughter that I'm not sure where to start. The cooking is perfect. The chicken fried steak is crisp and juicy. So is the chicken fried chicken. The gravy has a fantastic texture and is peppered just right. You'll want it on everything! The green beans with bacon are addicting. The cornbread is wonderful. The only thing here I'd pass on are the peaches because they're literally swimming in sugar syrup. Everything else is delicious. There's not a bad order to be ordered. The daily meat and three special gives you a an entrée plus three sides at under $12. It's a steal of a value.The only thing of better value is the service. You'll feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. Staff is just attentive enough without being overbearing. They'll have that refill just before you realized you wanted it. That check will arrive just before you're ready to go. Their grins and pleasantries won't stop. The vibe makes you feel at a distant relatives home. Getting a table might be tough at lunch and especially after church hours. Arrive early, because even the small parking lot is tough to navigate. If you have a large truck this could be a problem. That aside it's a wonderful café inside and out that makes you feel at home."

They also have 10+ stools if you want to sit at the counter. The place has a old school being at home feel. The staff is friendly & attentive and your coffee will be refilled often. The food was fresh and the eggs were cooked just the way they were ordered. The diner is clean and they also have a bakery for pastries. Recommend this diner for sure."

I'm a big breakfast lover and this restaurant has all bases covered - delicious skillet options, omelettes and pancakes. There's a small coffee bar where they brew up speciality coffee drinks. The servers are always friendly and food service quick! Seating is mainly booths with a few tables. If you have a group over 6 there may be a wait in order to push the few tables together. For groups I'd recommend having breakfast early to avoid waiting."
