"Outside of trips to Portland and Santa Monica, I'm relatively new to this Food Truck scene, but when I discovered Klyde Warren Park and the glory that is it's food truck selection, I had to dive head-first into one of my all-time favorite cuisines - deli subs.Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere?One of the toughest parts of running a food truck has to be the service aspect. You've literally got to bring your A-game all day every day considering you can't provide a place for anyone to sit, but Gandolfo's absolutely nails it with their Dallas crew. Super nice guys who are happy to accomodate and have your sandwich out in a flash. Really, really nice and genuine people. I've had subs at Gandolfo's that are easily among the best I've ever had, and I've had subs that have had me regretting my decision. First and foremost, you're looking at some really quality bread here, which is obviously one of the catalysts of any good sammie yeah? So the bread is solid, but it's in the meat selection that I've found a mixed bag. At times you get really amazing lean cuts of meat, but other times I've had a real dripper of a sandwich that really threw off the whole thing. Either way, there are amazing toppings of shredded lettuce and banana peppers, and a great mishmash of sauces that bring the whole thing together. "Weinberger was on top of my list after my coworker told me how great it is. My husband and I stopped by around noon on a Sunday. The line was decently long however the service is quick and easy. There are a variety of sandwich options to choose from. By the time we got to the front of the line we changed our order 20 times. We ended up getting the Lustig and the Avery to go. The portion sizes are huge! Enough to save some as a left over. Each sandwich came with a bag of chips and a pickle. There is limited seating but again people were in and out of the restaurant pretty quickly. My husband also ordered a pb and j which looked delicious. We will have to come back and try more options."

"I work in the Stone Tower and visit the deli at least once a week. Their daily lunch specials are always good. The persons who work there, two women and one guy, are all very polite. They have fresh cookies, brownies, fruit in bowls in the refrigerators, soda, water, juice, and cold Starbucks. A snack/junk food rack with a fair assortment. There are 4 tables with chairs to sit and eat. The one down side is their coffee selection. It is this machine of some sorts that uses bags or something. The one time I used it the coffee was way too strong and had to use a small cup. Overall this place is fantastic!"

The service can be good and terrible here, but this trip, it was decent. When calling it in, they repeated my order but probably could have upsold me on anything as I was starved! It was ready when I arrived.There was enough au jus this time (sometimes, it is significantly not enough). The taste was nice and salty with a taste bud pleasing beef flavor. The salad was good with decent quality lettuce. It was all well packaged and temperature was perfect after the 10 min drive home."

"Tower Deli is as good as it gets. It's probably the only restaurant/deli on the whole office strip, and it's conveniently located inside Addison Tower. If you get a sub or a sandwich it usually comes with chips. It's way better than driving to the gas station and paying double for something you could have bought at Wal-mart for the quarter of the price.Everything is made fresh to order and even though it's operated by two people, all the orders come out in a timely manner. Their daily specials sets them apart from the other deli's; I love baked potato day where the "works" includes a big heaping mound of sour cream, bacon bits, chives, and so many more. Be sure to go in earlier because the soup is gone by noon!Aside from that, this place is always fully stocked with drinks and snacks. They have breakfast items as well as staples like philly cheesesteak and onion rings or bbq burger with fries. Taco days are the best too.. but I'll keep going on and on."

My favs are the peach, mango blend in the summer; and peanut butter in the winter. The berry blend is really good, too! Depending on the season, Adam pretty much knows which I've come to get and always remembers to drop extra honey in my peanut butter smoothie or to add protein if I'm getting one for "the big guy" aka my co-worker.The BBQ chicken wrap is good. The muffaletta sandwich will make you hurt yourself because true to this deli's form, that is a LOTTA sandwich! The chicken in the grilled chicken pasta will make you bite your tongue and Taco Tuesday (and Thursday) does cause a frenzy! The tacos are beef or chicken and you can get fresh avocado on top! In the morning I like to get a breakfast croissant or burrito in the spinach wrap. Even the chicken, veggies and rice special is good! I also like the pesto chicken special. Did I mention the pastas? Grilled chicken pasta! And did I say the portions are NICE? Do I need to go on?Adam (the owner) has a real talent for for pairing flavors. If you're unsure how to top a sandwich or wrap, he is never wrong about the veggies or dressings. He is never wrong about what to put in your smoothie should you have some special need or desire, and he is jam packed FULL of nutrition knowledge you may take advantage of! If this guy wrote a diet plan, I'd be on it and, like a newborn puppy, I'd be at one of his tables daily to see what he would feed me!! Healthy food never before tasted this good."

This one has become my new favorite location as they don't run out of bread like the other one does.I walked in as usual on my last trip, enjoying the clean and bright store! The counter help are always smiling and happy to see me (yes, I tip plus talk to them). As they are building my usual giant double turkey Mike's way with no onion but add pickles and mayo, I grab a couple of packs of chips as I intend to make this last 2 meals. "I visited Main Street Deli at the recommendation of my plus one who raves about how great they are. He eats here at least once a week most weeks and is always recognized by staff. When I walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if I needed any assistance with the menu. Catch owner Susie in the background of this video making sure every customer enjoys their meals. Chef Larry in the back whips up the freshest meals, you can't get quality like this at other places. And say hi to Perry who is a main stay at this restaurant. Susie and Larry are the dream team couple for running this local business! There's a reason they're consistently voted the top restaurant on Trip Advisor- the perfect restaurant when visiting Garland for that small town feel. It feels good to #supportlocal. They're great for catering too. They sell a variety of sandwiches (deli, grilled..), subs, Greek specialities, burgers, salads, soups, and wraps. After talking with Susie and hearing her story of coming to Garland and trying to make it, I knew I had to try their gyro sandwich, homemade falafel, Greek salad, and hummus with pita and it did not disappoint. Also loved their extremely crispy sweet potato fries. Being on Main Street and near the industrial area, they get a lot of workers coming in on their break. Susie looked like she knew everyone! And everything that the others ordered looked so good. I'm definitely going back and trying their other wraps and sandwiches... so many great options to choose from and the service is really unparalleled."

"FYI the sign outside says "Ajumma Sundae Deli", not Kimbob Deli. Not sure why Yelp has it under a different name. Anyway, OMG. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Price and portions are unbeatable. I don't think anything on the menu is even over $13 and the Ajummas are so so nice. You can taste and feel the warmth in their food! This is by no means a fancy Korean place, but the food gives homemade, authentic vibes. I always get the Beef Stew Hot Pot because I literally can't seem to get it anywhere else since Volcano Soon Tofu closed down. It comes with 3 sides, 2 of which will always be kimchi and the third one is rotating. Some dishes like the Tonkatsu does not come with sides. All delicious! After you pay, there is a counter to the left where you pick up food which is also where the complimentary fishcake soup(?) is located. I grab a bowl of soup to start my meal and enjoy it while I wait for my number to be called. On rare days that I don't finish my meal, I will need a to go plastic container to carry the soup. They do charge $0.50 I believe for a plastic container but I think it's pretty reasonable given how unbelievably affordable and they are. I try to remember to bring my own. The styrofoam takeout boxes are free though if you're not eating soup. They messed up my order twice but both times were handled very satisfactorily. They gave me a totally different dish from the one I ordered and just came out with a brand new one without making me return the first one. The second time they forgot to add rice cake into my beef stew hot pot so they made a whole bowl of rice cake soup with clear noodles. Both times, they made amends with a smile! I will keep coming back again and again til my dying day!"
