"Great sandwich and it's fun to eat it in a liquor store. Also they had GF bread which was a nice surprise."
"Outside of trips to Portland and Santa Monica, I'm relatively new to this Food Truck scene, but when I discovered Klyde Warren Park and the glory that is it's food truck selection, I had to dive head-first into one of my all-time favorite cuisines - deli subs.Star 1: How was the service and atmosphere? One of the toughest parts of running a food truck has to be the service aspect. You've literally got to bring your A-game all day every day considering you can't provide a place for anyone to sit, but Gandolfo's absolutely nails it with their Dallas crew. Super nice guys who are happy to accomodate and have your sandwich out in a flash. Really, really nice and genuine people. Star Granted.Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost?A good, non-chain deli sub is an investment without a doubt, but luckily I knew this going in, so I was more than happy to fork over $7.29 for a half portion of the "Big Apple" with extra meat. While it doesn't look huge in the picture, this was a meal and a half, and I can't even begin to imagine what a full-size would have looked like:http://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=I8S-Mc8eOUvFtOfaFgedaQ&userid=OKX-V5j_qfuOebeHeWGrHgStar Granted.Stars 3 and 4: How was the food?Gandolfo's can dish up a brilliant sub, but my one gripe is that consistency can be a tad bit hit or miss. I've had subs at Gandolfo's that are easily among the best I've ever had, and I've had subs that have had me regretting my decision. First and foremost, you're looking at some really quality bread here, which is obviously one of the catalysts of any good sammie yeah? So the bread is solid, but it's in the meat selection that I've found a mixed bag. At times you get really amazing lean cuts of meat, but other times I've had a real dripper of a sandwich that really threw off the whole thing. Either way, there are amazing toppings of shredded lettuce and banana peppers, and a great mishmash of sauces that bring the whole thing together. Dual Stars Granted.Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? The product is great, but the consistency often has me deciding between Gandolfo's and nearby Uncle Ubers: http://www.yelp.com/biz/uncle-ubers-sammich-shop-dallas . That being the case, I can't say I would come here daily. No Star Granted."

"We eat there every Monday for lunch. We have gotten to know the manager and his wife. They are an amazing couple. The food is amazing!"
"Weinberger was on top of my list after my coworker told me how great it is. My husband and I stopped by around noon on a Sunday. The line was decently long however the service is quick and easy. There are a variety of sandwich options to choose from. By the time we got to the front of the line we changed our order 20 times. We ended up getting the Lustig and the Avery to go. The portion sizes are huge! Enough to save some as a left over. Each sandwich came with a bag of chips and a pickle. There is limited seating but again people were in and out of the restaurant pretty quickly. My husband also ordered a pb and j which looked delicious. We will have to come back and try more options."
"I order breakfast through uber eats. Great portions, great taste, well packaged, food gets delivered fast."
"I work in the Stone Tower and visit the deli at least once a week. Their daily lunch specials are always good. The persons who work there, two women and one guy, are all very polite. They have fresh cookies, brownies, fruit in bowls in the refrigerators, soda, water, juice, and cold Starbucks. A snack/junk food rack with a fair assortment. There are 4 tables with chairs to sit and eat. The one down side is their coffee selection. It is this machine of some sorts that uses bags or something. The one time I used it the coffee was way too strong and had to use a small cup. Overall this place is fantastic!"
"A quick phone in and grab it order. I was craving a French Dip and salad. The quality is almost always good at this location as it was this trip. The service can be good and terrible here, but this trip, it was decent. When calling it in, they repeated my order but probably could have upsold me on anything as I was starved! It was ready when I arrived. There was enough au jus this time (sometimes, it is significantly not enough). The taste was nice and salty with a taste bud pleasing beef flavor. The salad was good with decent quality lettuce. It was all well packaged and temperature was perfect after the 10 min drive home."
"This place is definitely a hidden gem in the middle of Addison. This is a great stop for a quick lunch. The staff is always friendly and sometimes you can even see Joe himself! Fresh, authentic deli style sandwiches, salads and more."
"Really good pizza (taste like real new York pizza).every one in the there provided great service. Looks and feels like a true New York pizzeria."
"Tower Deli is as good as it gets. It's probably the only restaurant/deli on the whole office strip, and it's conveniently located inside Addison Tower. If you get a sub or a sandwich it usually comes with chips. It's way better than driving to the gas station and paying double for something you could have bought at Wal-mart for the quarter of the price.Everything is made fresh to order and even though it's operated by two people, all the orders come out in a timely manner. Their daily specials sets them apart from the other deli's; I love baked potato day where the "works" includes a big heaping mound of sour cream, bacon bits, chives, and so many more. Be sure to go in earlier because the soup is gone by noon!Aside from that, this place is always fully stocked with drinks and snacks. They have breakfast items as well as staples like philly cheesesteak and onion rings or bbq burger with fries. Taco days are the best too.. but I'll keep going on and on."
"Chicken shawarma was fresh and not too heavy. Like the minis gherkins inside. Will be back! Ambiance not the greatest."
"I have never gotten a bad meal here so this review will mostly be a list of things I've tried! By the way, how many places have YOU been to like 100 times and NEVER gotten a bad meal????The smoothies definitely have that holler back factor! My favs are the peach, mango blend in the summer; and peanut butter in the winter. The berry blend is really good, too! Depending on the season, Adam pretty much knows which I've come to get and always remembers to drop extra honey in my peanut butter smoothie or to add protein if I'm getting one for "the big guy" aka my co-worker.The BBQ chicken wrap is good. The muffaletta sandwich will make you hurt yourself because true to this deli's form, that is a LOTTA sandwich! The chicken in the grilled chicken pasta will make you bite your tongue and Taco Tuesday (and Thursday) does cause a frenzy! The tacos are beef or chicken and you can get fresh avocado on top! In the morning I like to get a breakfast croissant or burrito in the spinach wrap. Even the chicken, veggies and rice special is good! I also like the pesto chicken special. Did I mention the pastas? Grilled chicken pasta! And did I say the portions are NICE? Do I need to go on?Adam (the owner) has a real talent for for pairing flavors. If you're unsure how to top a sandwich or wrap, he is never wrong about the veggies or dressings. He is never wrong about what to put in your smoothie should you have some special need or desire, and he is jam packed FULL of nutrition knowledge you may take advantage of! If this guy wrote a diet plan, I'd be on it and, like a newborn puppy, I'd be at one of his tables daily to see what he would feed me!! Healthy food never before tasted this good."

Was craving a good deli sandwich for lunch and Google brought this place up. What an unsuspecting spot for this deli shop, in the back of Specs Liquor store. One stop shop I guess....genius idea! They had both hot and cold sandwiches and also a seating area. I chose to get mine to go. Quick service, maybe because it was much later past lunch time. I ordered the Texas Chicken Reuben which was a hot sandwich. It was stacked with a good amount of meat, sauerkraut and pickled jalapeños along with this sauce or aioli spread. It was DELICIOUS! I was pleasantly surprised! I will be back to try other sandwiches from here for sure. Mr. G's you've won me over!

The Gandolfos food truck out by work today, ordered the I love NY and a Dr.Pepper, yes weIn Texas. Regular sandwich sized bread, marbled rye, Russian dressing, taste was good, nothing out of this world but different for me (it was SUPER HOT) burned my mouth, but 18.00 bucks really? We are in Texas, not NYl, this is a once in a lifetime try, and unfortunately the priceRuined the moment. And yes lime other reviews, they do take some time to make your sandwich.

Another great sandwich at this shop. All clerks in masks and super friendly and helpful. I got the big kahuna-had lots of meat_mushrooms/onions in a toasted bun. There are a couple tables to sit at but took mine home to eat it. Easy to find off Hebron, not many parking spaces though. I recommend this location.

Best sandwich shop in the country - bar none! We lived in McKinney, Tx for 10 years and now every time we fly back (5 min. from DFW) for a visit we have to get our Weinberger's fix (the Ludo is my favorite; dragon's breath is my wife's). Just was back last week - took 4 colleagues (1 from Maine, 1 from Missouri & 2 from Minnesota) and they all said best sandwiches they ever had!! Now it is time to pine for the next time!

I ordered from uber eats a pastrami Rueben w/easy kraut. It came with a delicious pickle & seasoned fries. This sandwich was HUGE! Took me 3 meals to eat it & OMGoodness was it delicious. The pastrami was perfect & I'm glad I said easy kraut because anymore would have messed it up for me. The bread wrapped it all up to perfection. I can't wait to try another one. Go try one of these monstrous sandwiches for yourself!!

There is nothing but good things to say about this deli! Let me tell you how I found out about this place. I saw the legendary rapper, Da Brat, post a video on YouTube a few months ago. She was in the deli eating with her makeup artist. She and her friend were eating two different sandwiches. They made it look so good. They were talking and smacking, and it seemed like they were having a good "Ole" time. I couldn't wait for the opportunity to eat at the deli.Well, the deli didn't disappoint! The food is incredibly delicious! The owners/chefs are the sweetest people. The first time I ate their hot link and egg sandwich. It was soooo good. I wasn't very hungry, but ate the whole sandwich. The 2nd time I ate their lunch special. That was equally delicious. It was deli turkey, cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a croissant and a side of chips. They have a variety of chips to choose from, so I selected one of my favorites, Sun Chips. My mom enjoyed her breakfast sandwich too!It is a small place with a few tables. Since they make the food to order so please don't rush them. The food is worth the wait!I've been here twice and will absolutely return. I highly recommend this restaurant!

McAlister's didn't disappoint! I always try to stop here when in town. I called my order in ahead and Chris served me when I got to the restaurant. He oozed positivity and happiness and you could tell her really enjoyed working there! He was very pleasant to interact with! I got the Italian sandwich with potato salad, my go-to and it still tastes like I remember as a kid. If it's not broke, don't fix it! I also go a black cherry sweet tea and that was enough to keep me up all night (I'm sensitive to any caffeine though!) All in all, wonderful experience at this McAlister's and will be back when I'm in town!

Jersey Joe's is across the street from my office and just was in the mood for a sub. Ole Joe's was the remedy to my hankering. Service was awesome, super nice folks who seem to love making people happy poppin' jokes and having a good time. The 11. Big Joe was awesome, all the meats had me sweating, but that didn't stop me from deleting this sandwich in 30 seconds. Highly recommend if you're in Addison!

"We ordered the chicken milanese and chicken parmesan sra. sandwiches. Five stars all the way. The focaccia bread and steaming chicken made the sandwiches. It took quite awhile to get our sandwiches, but I learned the restaurant had only been open for a month and a week. They were probably still working out kinks, and they were busy as heck. The owner was very friendly, and I verified that he's Italian! You can't find that often in Texas."
"Best Rueben sandwich and the fries are something special! Nice atmosphere and great friendly staff. The portion was huge."
"This deli is fantastic! Their sandwich selection looked great. I had the Cordon Bleu Chicken sandwich, and my husband tried the Chicken Club. Both were absolutely delicious! The establishment is clean, and the staff is super friendly. This is an excellent spot for anyone craving a sandwich or an affordable lunch. We're definitely coming back to explore more of the menu. Highly recommend!"
"Yummy knocks deli sandwiches out of the park! 1. It's halal/kosher 2. Priced reasonably 3. Amazing taste. I've had the chopped cheese, turkey sandwich, and the Reuben and somehow even a simple Turkey sandwich is the best thing you'll eat. Will 100% be back for more."
"I saw the sandwiches and figured I'd stop in. I'm a sucker for bologna.I order a whole bologna sandwich for $12.00. And the guy behind the counter keeps slicing. And slicing. And slicing. And slicing. And eventually I tell him, "I'm good. That's plenty"He says, "No it's not. Yer gonna learn why you're supposed to order a half" and continues slicing.Joke's on him. Ate the whole thing. It was a banger. I'll be back."
"One stop shop when buying kegs or tank exchange etc...also grab a burger and tots....good flavor. Service was great .."
"This was a great little lunch spot. Can't go wrong with the club sandwich. You can order online and pick it up what's progressive text messages to let you know when it's ready. the recently updated menu provides plenty of choices for breakfast and lunch."
"Delicious BLT & cute little deli. Nice people, clean food area, lots of parking. Nothing less than 5 stars. Kudos."
"I've only had breakfast and coffee here and it's always so good. I tried their matcha latte and loved it. They have different biscuits but will sell out quick. Great breakfast /lunch spot with outdoor seating as well. Good selection of craft beers. Handful of people with their laptops."
"Mike's subs are magic! Seriously! On my last trip there, I was famished! Eat the arms off your neighbors kind of hungry. This one has become my new favorite location as they don't run out of bread like the other one does.I walked in as usual on my last trip, enjoying the clean and bright store! The counter help are always smiling and happy to see me (yes, I tip plus talk to them). As they are building my usual giant double turkey Mike's way with no onion but add pickles and mayo, I grab a couple of packs of chips as I intend to make this last 2 meals. After all, that is almost a 3 lbs, 13" long sandwich! The price is always wonderful and all are happy as I leave. Now here is where the magic begins...I walk in the door, sit down, start eating. POOF! that monster of a sandwich is gone! No way that huge thing, ALL of it, made it into my belly!"
"I didn't want to like this place because the prices are a little bit steep, but that can't stop me!I had a little bit of Sticker shock when a bacon cheeseburger and french fries and a drink cost me $18. I thought this must be good or at least it better be lolFact of the matter is that it is delicious! Hand form, not frozen patties grilled fresh to order they were amazing. The service was friendly and fast, making this a perfect place to hit on the lunch hour and not be late coming back from work. The ambience is kind of a nice little deli vibe with a small town feel."
"One of the best burgers in oak cliff. Like seriously if you come to oak cliff please stop by and get something to eat. I have the bacon cheeseburger. It was so good I came back later in the day for the burritos. I love that it's family owned and that they care about their customers. This is gonna become one of my regular stops while in the OC"
"Seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I'm not a sandwich girl. This one called the Amalfitana came with fresh cut prosciutto, burrata, arugula, EVOO and I got extra balsamic vinegar on it. Freaking delicious for 12.99 and HUGE! I had to give the other half to a coworker. Highly recommend."
"The "Reuben the Great" is the best Reuben sandwich I have tasted in Texas. Outstanding! The prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and efficient. BUT, I have been to the Plano location at least four times this year, and EVERTY TIME, the soft-serve Ice Cream machine is out of service. My advice, before you order, ask for a manager and tell them that if the Ice Cream machine is not working when you finish your meal, you want a refund of your total check. If they don't agree, leave and find a Jason's Deli that has equipment properly maintained.NOTE: this is the location on Parker Road near Preston Rd in Plano."
"The food is good! First time I ordered a brisket baked potato and 2 meat nachos! They both were delicious except I'll most likely order one meat for the nachos because 2 is way too much unless you're a meat lover! Next time I ordered for pickup, the place is kinda small but there is inside seating. Most people there were waiting on their order so I was glad I ordered via DoorDash pickup. The cashier was super nice with a welcoming smile. I ordered the rib plate with beans and potato salad and a 10 piece hot lemon pepper basket. Everything was delicious, the ribs were tender. Beans and potato salad yummy! Oohhh but the wings! Sooo good, they're barbecued with the seasoning of your choice with those homemade fries were so good! Highly recommended! It's a new business, welcome them to the community with your patronage!"
"I visited Main Street Deli at the recommendation of my plus one who raves about how great they are. He eats here at least once a week most weeks and is always recognized by staff. When I walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if I needed any assistance with the menu. Catch owner Susie in the background of this video making sure every customer enjoys their meals. Chef Larry in the back whips up the freshest meals, you can't get quality like this at other places. And say hi to Perry who is a main stay at this restaurant. Susie and Larry are the dream team couple for running this local business! There's a reason they're consistently voted the top restaurant on Trip Advisor- the perfect restaurant when visiting Garland for that small town feel. It feels good to #supportlocal. They're great for catering too. They sell a variety of sandwiches (deli, grilled..), subs, Greek specialities, burgers, salads, soups, and wraps. After talking with Susie and hearing her story of coming to Garland and trying to make it, I knew I had to try their gyro sandwich, homemade falafel, Greek salad, and hummus with pita and it did not disappoint. Also loved their extremely crispy sweet potato fries. Being on Main Street and near the industrial area, they get a lot of workers coming in on their break. Susie looked like she knew everyone! And everything that the others ordered looked so good. I'm definitely going back and trying their other wraps and sandwiches... so many great options to choose from and the service is really unparalleled."
"Well...as small as it is, I didn't expect much. But what a pleasant surprise! Hubby had the California turkey, number 10, and said it was amazing! I had the Santa Fe Chicken, number28, and it was awesome! Again, it's a really small place with 3 tables, and it's close to George W. Bush library,...so make it the place to go."
"This was a good deli. It is hard to find if you don't work in the building. The deli is in the north side of the 6060 central building. The sandwiches are made w care, and they have nice sides. The specials each day are good. They are very friendly."
"This place is so great, from the food to the ppl. Tucked away on a side street across from SMU, if you don't know about it, you could miss it. The owners have so much passion for bringing the best quality food at a price that can compete. It does give off like a sidewalk store in a big city and the stuff for kids is great. They give back to the community all the time. They also run a bbq bulk meats name and do catering I believe. Please give them a shot and you will be hooked."
"This isn't your basic office building deli. Their hot menu specials are DELICIOUS! The owner, Tom, makes a point of knowing everyone who comes through the deli and keeps his menu diverse and interesting. I must have had the best shrimp etouffe I've ever had at this deli. Their serving sizes are very generous and they have an excellent selection of sides."
"This little hidden gem has been around for a very long time. Food is great, drinks are priced right, you feel right at home with friendly patrons and servers. NOTHING not to love about this place. Check it out, try the wings and maybe you can enjoy some of the candy offerings at the bar. Give it chance and you'll be glad you did."
"FYI the sign outside says "Ajumma Sundae Deli", not Kimbob Deli. Not sure why Yelp has it under a different name. Anyway, OMG. I LOVE THIS PLACE. Price and portions are unbeatable. I don't think anything on the menu is even over $13 and the Ajummas are so so nice. You can taste and feel the warmth in their food! This is by no means a fancy Korean place, but the food gives homemade, authentic vibes. I always get the Beef Stew Hot Pot because I literally can't seem to get it anywhere else since Volcano Soon Tofu closed down. It comes with 3 sides, 2 of which will always be kimchi and the third one is rotating. Some dishes like the Tonkatsu does not come with sides. All delicious! After you pay, there is a counter to the left where you pick up food which is also where the complimentary fishcake soup(?) is located. I grab a bowl of soup to start my meal and enjoy it while I wait for my number to be called. On rare days that I don't finish my meal, I will need a to go plastic container to carry the soup. They do charge $0.50 I believe for a plastic container but I think it's pretty reasonable given how unbelievably affordable and they are. I try to remember to bring my own. The styrofoam takeout boxes are free though if you're not eating soup. They messed up my order twice but both times were handled very satisfactorily. They gave me a totally different dish from the one I ordered and just came out with a brand new one without making me return the first one. The second time they forgot to add rice cake into my beef stew hot pot so they made a whole bowl of rice cake soup with clear noodles. Both times, they made amends with a smile! I will keep coming back again and again til my dying day!"
"Oooo Trades is fabulous. Cute exterior, cozy interior. Wonderful service. An array of bagels, hot or cold sandwiches, and, house smoked lox and meats. Absolutely delicious was my "Italian Beef" on this visit - so tasty was their perfectly braised beef, the right amount of giardiniera, and, beautiful beef broth. WBB often!CHEERS!"
