Our server Zita (I hope I am spelling that correctly) was on point with her recommendations, and very attentive. - Parking it's shared with all the other locals, so it may get packed at peak hours. - they have plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, and it's good for small and larger parties. "While I had family visiting town, the family in-town and I felt this would be the perfect location to have dinner to celebrate our reunion.The drive from Frisco to Garland is definitely worth the trip. There was plenty of space to accommodate our large party of 15. The staff was very friendly and super helpful with the menu selections. I can't remember what we all ordered, but I do remember we ordered our own selection and then ate from each other's dishes! LOL!Here is what I remembered this most:1. Chicken Adobo - very delicious!2. Beef Pares - the fried rice paired with the beef was excellent!3. Sizzling Sisig - I think multiple family members ordered this - it was enjoyed by all!4. Bistek - great comfort food!And dessert was AMAZING!!! Halo-halo is a must try if you've never had it. The presentation and serving is most impressive. "This Taiwanese food has been established for sometimes. It is great place for breakfast and lunch. This restaurant has a lot of regular customers. This is local well know Taiwanese restaurant. They carry typical Taiwanese street food. We got the Taiwanese Rice roll. It has fried pork floss a fried dough. It just like in Taiwan. We also got salty soy milk which my wife favorite. She likes it for breakfast. The last dish is the beef pancake. The slice beef shank is delicious for the in filling. Overall is good Taiwanese restaurant. Definitely come back for more especially for the deli lunch specials."

"Not quite what i was expecting in terms of ambiance, it was a bit more dive barish than I was expecting, but the staff and the menu were excellent. It seems this bar is a victim of its environment at some point, but regardless of the surrounding area, the patio still appears to be quite popular, this is definitely a local's hangout. I was impressed by the variety of the menu, even more impressed with the brisket sandwich! It appears regardless of where you are in Texas, the BBQ is top notch. The tater tots on the other hand are not worth trying, unless you're a fan of frozen tater tots. The staff are full of energy and very personable, this is a great place to hangout for a while. "Not for me.I walked in and thought it was super strange that the doorway INSIDE smelled like cigarettes, not the outside. Then I realized that smoking is allowed indoors at this place. I seriously thought Louisiana was the only state where this was still allowed and was shocked.Beer selection was fine, nothing to write home about. Don't come looking for a bunch of craft beers.Our server did a great job even though it seemed like she was the only one working tonight. They also warn you with a sign at the door that they're short staffed, but honestly I thought it was fine. Maybe if I were throwing back drinks, I would have needed to go up to the bar for more drinks, but for our group, I found the server pretty attentive.We had the chips, queso, and salsa, and the mozzarella sticks. I thought the queso was pretty good. I didn't really touch the salsa because I kept eating the queso. The mozzarella sticks had a nice cheese pull when they first arrived at the table nice and warm.I had a nice time but when we left, my jacket smelled like an ashtray. I'm pretty sure all of me reeked of cigarette smoke. I got home and immediately threw everything in the washer and showered. My jacket still smelled like cigarettes after the wash so I sprayed Febreze on it.I appreciated the Saints stuff on the walls and honestly I thought the ambiance was great for a large group. I just can't deal with the indoor smoking, so I won't be returning."

Don't let the looks of the restaurant discourage your visit...they definitely make it up on their freshly made and BIG portioned dishes that they serve.If you're a Vegetarian like me, we do have some choices...but, it's limited. I highly recommend their Tacos of Flor de Calabaza (Squash Blossom) and their Tacos of Huitlacoche, (Edible Corn Mushroom), pronounced weet-la-COH-cheh. They are big portioned and the tortillas de masa (corn tortillas) are freshly done...so, don't expect your dish fast since these people actually start doing your food as you order dish from their menu. They were delicious!!! Note: You can have the Flor de Calabaza (Squash Blossom) and Huitlacoche ((Edible Corn Mushroom) in empanadas too.Note: Huitlacoche (Edible Corn Mushroom) - It is also known as cuitlacoche, corn smut, and Mexican truffle. Note: The menu that's on this Yelp review from a fellow Yelper isn't the complete menu. So, come on in to see their awesome dishes. Note: This restaurant prepares their dishes Oaxacan styleMan, I just wish I had taken pics of the dishes that my family were served. My Brother had one of their Tortas...and it was HUGE! It was the size of the whole plate...and with that stated, it was packed with delicious flavors that left my Brother wanting more.I tell y'all...the menu that is on the fellow Yelper's review doesn't display the full menu of what this restaurant really offers. Somehow, I or someone will need to take pics of their full menu for everyone to see.I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious and BIG portioned dishes that this humble restaurant offers.
