"First time at this restaurant, GPS took me to the inner corner of the shopping center, but it's on the edge of the building. There was about a 20 minute wait, and it was pretty true to the wait time. Once I got my table I didn't realize I had to order in the front. I eventually ordered my Philly Cheesesteak and it was SUPER good. It was hot and flavorful. The service was excellent. I was asked regularly if everything was good, from just about everyone working. It was very pleasant. One thing I really appreciated was when I asked for a cup for water, they gave me a good size cup for water. Most restaurants give you a 4-8 ounce cup. Definitely would like to go back the next time I am in the Arlington area."
"A giant thank you to 1418 Coffee House -- we enjoyed our lunch, the customer service, and loved your vibe!My daughter & I savored a scrumptious chicken salad sandwich called The Lucy. Made in-house, with tender, fresh chicken, including tasty sweet cranberries, all tucked into a cloud-like croissant. We also indulged in a mocha frappe--hands down, the tastiest in town!TIP: Parking is a beast! There is a parking garage directly behind their building. Fair warning there were only 3 handicap spots. All of them were full at 2pm on a Wednesday. TIP: Every table was taken. Many people on their phone/ laptops, and thats okay if they are customers. BUT, the majority had no problem taking space that could easily seat 4 people. Frustrating to those of us who were there to spend money on food, pastries, and drinks. We would have spent more money if we had a place to sit and eat .. comfortably. When the Texas weather snaps to cooler weather, the outside seating area in front of the building will add extra space to this crowded spot. They do offer another outside area in the back, but it sorely lacks the same vibe.We look forward to making this part of our favorite lunch rotation and want to to try more items on their menu. Then again, if they can't gain quality control with the freeloaders, we might look for another spot. There's too much competition to struggle with this!"

"We loved our experience at the Yolk in downtown Dallas so we decided to give this location a try. Let me start by saying this location is crazy busy (Sunday morning) and extremely loud, almost to the point where it is difficult to converse. We did the wait list thing, showed up on time, and still ended up waiting another 15 minutes or so after that. We were seated by the kitchen which added to the noise level. My second main point is that the food was good, but not as good as downtown. The wife's corned beef hash was dry. My chicken and waffles were good but not knock you socks off. The waffles were outstanding, light and fluffy, and the chicken was seasoned and not over-battered. Yet, something was missing to bring it all together. The sausage gravy is very good. They work really hard when the restaurant is so busy and so I understand our server may disappear for a time. When we had his attention he was efficient. Prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. We are still fans of Yolk, but we prefer the one downtown."
"The iced coffee was super strong, but in a good way that kept me juiced up all day. Sandwich was superb and a good portion for the price."
"Wonderful neighborhood counter order cafe! The restaurant at looks like it was a Victorian home converted to a restaurant. There's plenty of seating, prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious!I ordered the French Toast Platter:it came with 2 eggs, 2 pieces of bacon, breakfast potatoes, and 4 pieces of french toasts with fresh cut fruitParking is right behind the building, and there's plenty of it!"
"My family and I have been going here for the past 5 years or so. We all LOVE the boba and its really good. My kids get the Lychee Peach black tea, and its amazing! DEFINITELY TRY! The service is also very nice! And, the entire place is really cute."
"Interesting looking place! Had live music and open mike! Really liked their outdoor area. Had a great salad with grilled chicken! It was a nice portion as well! The young lady that took our order was very helpful since we had not been there before."
"I should have followed the first rule of dining, which is if a place smells bad, don't order food from there. I walked in and the stench was a little foul, but since there were decent reviews, I ordered to go anyway. I got chicken pad grapow and this is one of the worst renditions of it I've ever had. The chicken is overcooked chunks of chicken when it should be ground chicken with a bit of caramelization, the sauce is too liquidy and the large chunks of green pepper are unnecessary. For thai food, this really misses the mark."
"The salty is easily the top two or three specialty donut places in Dallas. Solid staples and good rotating flavors."
"My family has been going here since before I was born and it remains my favorite restaurant. The best arepa and tres leches I've ever had. Service can be a little slow depending on who's working waitstaff but they'll come to you right away if you flag them down."
"Bookshop of my dreams. The Wild Detectives is a bookshop, bar, and cafe in the Bishop Arts District! We were strolling along and wanted to find a spot to grab a drink and enjoy the weather so we asked around and one local recommended this spot! We headed straight towards the bar since we knew we wanted a drink- my friend got the aperol spritz while I got the matcha pisco sour. We lucked out and came during happy hour on a weekday which is from 3-6pm and includes cool specials like $3 off cocktails, $2 off wine & tap beer & $1 off food items. If you buy a book during this time, they also have a happy book hour where you get a drink on the house if you buy a book... now that's my kinda happy hour!Since I already bought a book at a different store, I opted out of the book hour but still took advantage of the happy hour. The area itself is super cute with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. We ended up enjoying our drinks inside in the little nook area. We saw a lot of people catching up or working from here, which seemed like an ideal place to do both. My Matcha pisco sour was really good and actually a bit strong, in the best way. Definitely a different kind of midday pickmeup. It didn't taste much like matcha but definitely a pisco sour. After enjoying our drinks and reading from our books we brought long for the adventure, we took a look around the store. The book collection is curated since the space is small. Overall, such a cute lil bookstore/cafe/wine concept within this little unsuspecting house a little outside the main part of the Bishop Arts District."
"Honestly, 5 stars for not asking for a tip in a walk-up restaurant. I had the keto bowl and a waffle, both were good. Coffee was good. Price was reasonable. They have a deal M-F where you can get a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee for $7.50."

From the moment you enter into Bay 34th Street Dinner - you realize that you've found something special. You're greeted by their wonderful staff that embody the homey feeling of this cafe! Lamar is usually up at the front, his personality and kindness will keep you smiling the whole time. The building itself is small but the service and table turn around is quick - you have indoor and patio options. They can handled large groups but it is busy inside so be mindful of how long you nest. You do need to order up at the front and they have a To-Go line as well. Lastly the kitchen - it's clean and truly maneuvers like an old school dinner. They have multiple people in the kitchen and you do not wait long for your food. Everything comes out hot and off the stove! I've been coming here for a while now, it's always my first choice in the mornings. Give this place a shot - they are more than worth your visit :)

Quaint coffee shop in downtown Plano that offers a variety of sandwiches and standard coffee shop pastry offerings in addition to coffee. Street parking was easily available with a short walk down to the restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful in tracking down the pickup order I placed online. Can't recall the name of the coffee or food item ordered, but both were tasty and I would return in the future to try other menu options. Agree with other comments that the seating offerings are crowded and give off hunkered down, lounge for hours, vibes. If that's not your scene, suggest a visit when sitting at the outdoor tables would be comfortable, weather-wise. Or for a quick swing by, to pick up breakfast/lunch to-go.

While staying at the Hilton in a business trip, we found a breakfast spot close to the hotel. We were quickly seated. We had a tighter timeline the second day so told the server. He got us is and out with time to spare to enjoy our fabulous breakfast. The first day, I had biscuits and gravy but was out ordered with the two that ordered lemon blueberry pancakes. The second day, I got Nutella crepes with bananas. It was fab. First day service was meh but second day it was superb. Definitely a go back.

Such a cute coffee spot!! Really went in to try the creme brûlée latte but it's the middle of a heat wave in Dallas and that latte only comes hot because of the torching sugar portion of creme brûlée!!! Couldn't so it, so I went for my next option and got the Vanilla Lavender Latte with oat milk. We also got the passion berry lemonade and both were so good. The lemonade was so refreshing. Lots of places to sit inside and work if you wanted. Not many spots for large groups. The barista was super friendly and helpful...didn't judge me for wanting an iced creme brûlée latte! haha! Overall such a nice coffee place!

This is one of the cutest places in DFW. Murals, plants everywhere, vintage furniture, huge patio, just asking you to take photos for ig.It's good for a first date because you can meet for coffee and if it goes well, maybe you have dinner. If it goes really well, you can continue and have drinks. It's park style so you order at a counter and then get texted to come get your food. Everyone is crazy friendly, helpful, and trying to get you to stick around as long as possible.Live music on the weekend, and there's a ton of parking praise the lord Cocktails look good, but who cares they have blantons at a decent price.

Food real flavorful and good also worth the money if you're on a budget. I ordered to go and the service was exceptionally fast. The guy at the cash register was nice and patient with me ordering. Very small place but they get you in and out very quickly.

"cozy factor: 5/5It's giving Parisian cafe. Very busy inside. A mix of families and young adults. Lots of dogs. Don't know how I feel about the abundance of dogs. But the decor is very cute with big blue wingback chairs and a rustic modern French vibe. Cozy factor gets a 5/5. cuppa joe quality: 5/5Magnolias has a fun menu with imaginative drinks. I ordered the Sugar Cookie Latte which had a flavor profile of amaretto, white chocolate vanilla and cardamom. Flavor explosion. crowd watching: 5/5This is definitely a hip, bustling place. Excellent for people watching. Lots of fashionable people. I saw a very handsome man who slightly resembled Michael Ealy. customer service: 4/5I wasn't greeted when I entered but the baristas were incredibly busy because it was a high traffic time. remote work friendliness: 3/5While there's plentiful tables and seating, there is a very high noise level."
"I am honestly baffled by the high ratings. Was this just a bad day for us?We had the eggselent skillet and eggs Benedict. The eggs Benedict was the worst I have ever had. The highlight of the dish was the poached egg. The hollandaise was extremely thick and overpowering, the Canadian bacon had no flavor, and the only other flavor was coming from the stale muffin drenched in cheap butter. The hashbrowns -- I understand they are not supposed to have much flavor, but please put some salt and pepper there (or borrow from the hollandaise). They looked nothing like the eggs Benedict photo that comes up for this restaurant on yelp. As for the skillet, nothing special, but the accompanying pancakes were disappointingly stodgy. Also, everything smelt of old fat.The service was okay, food came in time, the place was clean etcetera. We won't go back, but I would give a benefit of doubt, and say this was a once in a while mishap. Which is why I put three stars, or else I would do two."
"I used to frequent this cozy little cafe when I lived in Dallas, now living in the suburbs doesn't make it so easy, but decided to revisit this place once again, and it never fails to satisfy my craving for tropical Cuban cuisine. We started out with appetizers, ordering the Yucca Frita, Cuban Empanadas, and Bolitas de Bacalao. All of the sharable plates came out hot and fresh. My dining partner tried the Ropa Vieja (my all time favorite Cuban dish) and I decided to try the Arroz Con Pollo. Both were exceptional, and both tasted great! The Arroz con Pollo is enough to feed two people! We also had dessert, the bread pudding and the Chocolate Coconut cake and both were the perfect ending to a tasty meal. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a unique dining experience!!"
"This is an amazing gem that is hidden in the center of Dallas's Oakland are. Hip and cool with a trendy vibe and a great garden where you can sit- dig friendly too! SHARA the barista was amazing! Lovely lightly flavored white chocolate lavender - not too sweet !Great job!"
"This cozy spot offers quick bites as well as a sit-down option. The food was delicious, and the service was great too."
"We passed by for breakfast. This place has truly exceeded our expectations. They don't have a kids menu but they will make Mickey Mouse pancakes for kids. I ordered chicken and waffles. The chicken breast was lightly breaded, very tender and crispy. We will definitely come back whenever we are around."
"A darling coffee house and crepe spot in Watters Creek. Just discovered this place by accident, as I had a hair appt in this center and had some time to kill. I ordered a Peppermint Mocha and a blueberry scone. Both were delicious! The young man at the counter was very sweet and friendly, and answered my questions with a smile. I wish I lived closer, as I would be a frequent customer. The menu looked so interesting that I want to come back for breakfast sometime. And on a beautiful Fall day, you can sit outside and enjoy the cool temps with the sunshine. Adorable place with great coffee and friendly service!"
"I love everything about this place! Thankfully, we arrived just before the college rush! The restaurant is definitely nothing fancy... Our server was super friendly! We ordered both types of the migas and I headed to the coffee bar! This is my favorite thing here... just love sampling the different types and flavors of coffee. They even had 2 decafs!!!It didn't take long for our food to arrive. Fresh and delicious... quite filling! I chose not to eat the potatoes so I could finish everything else! Reasonably priced and just as good as when I lived here 20 years ago! It was fun to be back!"
"We tried Anasofia's for dinner, and we loved the food. The ambiance was also perfect, and the service was good, though it was difficult for us to communicate what we wanted in English and understand the lady serving us as she was talking mainly in Spanish. Regardless, we got exactly what we ordered. We were a group of 6 and ordered vegetarian and non-vegetarian items on the menu; every item was good. They have delicious margaritas as well. Since I am a vegetarian, I will write about what I tried specifically. For starters, we had the chips & salsa. I had Chili Relleno ( vegetarian version with no meat or beef) for the main course, and it was super yummy! We will be back to this place. It is a must-try!"
"@ Vickery Cafe there's always a space for you Great Service Great Food My First Choice"
"Been coming here the last few months and it's been a fantastic spot to grab some breakfast and coffee. Great service and you should definitely try the breakfast tacos (the bacon ones are the best). Also coffee is great! Good music and great location in downtown Dallas."
"Delicious cupcakes!!!! We Got a lemon cupcake and a black velvet. The presentation was chefs kiss!"
"The coffee and other drinks available are pretty decent. Even the available food options are just typical, nothing to write home about. The biggest thing Cuppa Espresso bar has going on here, is the huge dining area. The sitting area is huge and they offer free WiFi, so nobody's in a rush to leave and it's quite comfortable."
"Pax & Beneficia is a vibrant and versatile coffee shop where people can comfortably chat with friends, study, or even conduct business. The welcoming atmosphere makes it a great spot for all kinds of visitors. I also appreciated that their patio is dog-friendly--a nice touch for pet owners! The service was excellent. The staff took the time to explain the menu to my niece and me, which was super helpful. The coffee here is truly amazing! I was in town for just a few days, and we ended up coming twice because we couldn't get enough of it. While I wasn't a fan of the egg salad toast (I took one bite and decided it wasn't for me), the quality of the drinks more than made up for it. I'd happily return for a matcha or coffee the next time I'm in the area. This shop is definitely worth a visit!"
"This review is for the momos only! I got the pork chili momos and the chicken seared momosThe pork chili was packed with lots of flavor (red onions, and jalapeños were included) and the inside was juicy. The seared ones were a bit dryer on the inside and the tomato sauce was not as flavorful as other places I've gotten momos from. If the sauce and the meat was not dry, I'd have given this place a 5/5. Inside had booths and tables. You order at the register. They also serve alcohol which seems like a good place to meet up with some friends to catch up or grab a meal. We got take out and the order did take about at least 15 minutes to come out so it seemed fresh!"
"Great little coffee spot. Friendly, quick, and great customer service. I tried the iced Korean coffee, and it was delicious."
"Has this place bookmarked for a while and me and the wife finally hit it on a date night recently. We both loved the vibe and the food. I had a few Sazerac's and she had the Espresso Martini and we both enjoyed the appetizer cocktails. For the main course I got the pork chop and it is easily one of my favorite's in DFW (not overpriced like other's bone-in chop). The sautéed green beans really surprised me. She got the chicken pot pie and she had to keep slapping my hand away from sneaking bites."
"Met a friend here for brunch on a Sunday morning. I was happy that we were able to get a table for two right away. The service wasn't the greatest. Our server forgot to bring my friend's coffee cup and took a very long time to flag down to get it corrected or our bill, but we both ordered the salmon lox plate which was pretty tasty. They leave a pot of coffee at your table so you don't have to wait for refills. I'd go back to try it again the next time I'm in the downtown Dallas area."
"I've frequented Armor enough now to confidently update my review. I really enjoy Armor Coffee, I only wish there was more indoor seating! The Bacon Breakfast Tacos are my favorite followed by their chocolate chip cookies, which are good but amazing when warmed. The cold brew is strong and tasty and their creative lattes sound delicious although I enjoy a plain ol' almond milk latte. The service is usually pretty cheerful and quick and I really enjoy that they have coloring pages and crayons for kiddos. Although, it's hit or miss if you'll actually find a table to sit at when you arrive - the indoor seating is tight and most tables are usually taken by people with computers. Likely due to the free wifi.My favorite part of Armor is their drive thru!! It's actually quick and the service is always great. I've never had a messed up order and my food/drinks are hot.If you're visiting for the nostalgia of following Jen on her IG Rambling Redhead page or No Demo Reno, you'll be happy to find a handful of merch from t-shirts, to cups, mugs and stickers available for purchase. They started a loyalty rewards program a year or so ago and it's not that great. I guess something is better than nothing though"
"Great Place!Warm greeting when you enter. Friendly waitstaff make this an enjoyable experience! The ambiance is is pleasant and pretty typical Texas cafe/diner. It was also impeccably clean which was nice.I ordered the Mimi's Omelette Breakfast which came with a large omelette that had ham, cheddar, onions and green peppers. It was prepared perfectly! It came with my choice of hash browns or grits, I chose hash browns and they were really good and not greasy at all. I also had a choice of Toast or Pancakes. The pancakes were delicious!I am a fan!"
"Superb little purveyor of coffee and morning pastry.Just off the lobby in the Joule hotel its convenient to run down and grab a masterfully prepared Latte or Cortado and pastries. The baked goods are supplied by CBD next door and are superb.Go!"
"I spent a lot of time in coffee shops I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the Houndstooth Coffee. I pass by this location all the time. I didn't realize the interior was this large. There were plenty of people working and just enjoying the atmosphere. The menu is short and sweet. I ordered a vanilla latte, with oat milk. It was very delicious. I wanted a croissant, but they didn't have any which I was surprised by because it was very early in the morning. They also have an outdoor patio which is snug but also very cool. overall, this is a nice neighborhood coffee shop. The people their seemed to be locals and had a relationship with the cashier and barista."
"What's that smell??? We found ourselves here due to Rosatti's being closed and after our first choice was closed. It's smells ... pretty bad but we took a chance on the account that the restaurant was full. We waited a long time to have a server come to the table.... We hoped for the best and ordered: blt, Rueben & tuna melt. .... When the party that arrived after us had their food this review lost even more hope... my husband went to the bathroom and says they were very clean, which made me think the smell is not their fault. The food was good but the lobster bisque tasted like it was made from imitation crab meat. The Reuben had no thousand island dressing ... do is it a Reuben? First time likely last time"
