"The pierogi was excellent and the owners were so friendly and gave us samples of everything to try. Great snack in the market!"
"Let me start by saying that I have been to this place 5 times since early March!!... today is April 2nd. (Yes, I know... I have terrible eating habits)That should say a lot tho!Bottom line... absolutely give them a visit! So why did I give four stars instead of five you ask? Good question.I deducted one star for inconsistent performance. Three of the five times that I've visited have been phenomenal. Whereas the other two times have, unfortunately, missed the mark rather substantially.-The first time I went :I ordered a half pound of pork ribs, and a small side of mac & cheese. I literally made it three blocks before the wafting scent of smoky rib deliciousness won and I had to pull the car over and just chow down in the 7-Eleven parking lot. (I will say that the mac & cheese was just OK but MY mac & cheese is amazing so everything else basically fades in comparison!)-The second time I ordered:the food was just as good and luckily I made it all the way home. However I did decide to pass on the mac & cheese.Third time:I went on my lunch break and it was everything that I wanted it to be.. it hit that greasy spot and it just made me glad to live AND work rather close to such an amazing barbecue place (it's a catch 22, really)This is where it gets tricky because for weeks I had been raving to my friends and family about this barbecue place; how amazing the barbecue, how it's fall-off-the-bone tender, etc. Alas, I finally had a friend to join me for lunch and of course we decide it best if we go to Blus barbecue and on this day not only were the ribs incredibly tough to the point that we were not able to eat them but they were also incredibly over seasoned and I mean heavy heavy heavy on the pepper. I apologized to my friend I told her heyit's not normally like this she understood because she had been hearing me rave about these ribs and me being the picky person that I am she knew that it must just be a one off.The fifth time that I went which is the pictures that you see below the meat was fall off the bone tender I even explain explain to the cashier that my last experience was definitely subpar he apologize and threw in a spare rib. But as you can see the ribs were definitely fall off the fall off the bone tinder however they were not seasoned well and they just didn't have that you know like it's almost as if they may have been boiled or some thing I'm not sure if maybe they changed cooks in the back I don't know but whoever was there in the back cooking at the beginning of March we need to bring that person back because the consistency is really what's throwing me off at this point. Now that I finish the ribs in the pictures below. Period.... AbsolutelyWill I be in just as quick of a hurry to go there again I don't think so because I'm just afraid to get disappointed at this particular junction... but it was fun while it lasted!!"

"this was a surprise hiding close to home. I had no idea this venue was here! I should have taken more photos (not sure what I was thinking) The grounds are beautiful lots of spots to sit and reflect , view the lake or just sit and visit with a friend,.The event venue holds a lot of people and the outside area just off the bar area allows for even more people. Staff was top notch, food was DELISH! the only complaint I would have is the weird bathroom doors in the ladies bathroom."
"My first order just happened by chance . I saw an article on NewsBreak today about their upcoming move on July 12th to a different Mesquite location . I decided to see if they were on doordash since they aren't far from my home. I prefer to have my food delivered instead of me having to drive . I am a spoiled Queen . I ordered the bacon wrapped chicken sandwich, black beans , and strawberry cheesecake. My food arrived a little earlier than I requested always better to be early than late. Everything is a 10‼. At first I was disappointed with the thin slice of the strawberry cheesecake, but I cheered up when I remembered that cheesecakes are typically very rich, so I didn't need a larger slice. I also thought the dasher brought the wrong order to my home . I saw the picture on doordash showing several pieces of bacon wrapped chicken on skeeters looked tasty & was very tasty juicy and tender . Outstanding"
"RubaLee's right now is a catering, pickup and delivery company. Based on my experience with the food, they should definitely get a brick 'n mortar dine-in! They serve up Southern staples with a distinct home style cooking that makes you warm and fuzzy like good soul food should do.They do pop-ups on multiple occasions at my work place, and this time I wanted to really try out their Cajun tilapia. The fish is to die for - flaky and perfectly seared with a generous seasoning of Cajun spices, enough to impart a ton of flavor, without being hot or overpowering. Tender and moist to the last bite!I also sampled their mac n' cheese (wonderfully cheesy without being runny or too thick), and their collard greens were one of the best renditions I've tried (don't think this is done with ham hocks, but definitely some kind of pork is infused into it).The cornbread was a let down, as it was a tad dry and over baked on the outside.Finished the meal off with a generous slice of their banana pudding, which I highly recommend. Lots of textural elements imparted with the addition of some kind of plain cookie topped with layers of pudding and frosting."
"BBQ Larry is great! After a quick overview of BBQ in Texas, Larry unleashed your team to create the best steak you can muster. In a "Chopped" style competition, teams are professionally judged on their creations. This was an awesome event to work together with parts of your team and foster competition against others. Would recommend."
"I was at a catered event earlier this month and Two Skillets was the caterer. They served a lunch and a dinner. The lunch was a fajita bar and was very good. Everything was fresh, warm and tasty. The dinner was Italian food and again was excellent. The servers were so attentive and helpful. They never left the food and replenished immediately. The ambiance was nice because we could just take the food to any table we wanted. Desserts were also very good. Hope they are back for this event this fall!!"
"I'm amazed that I'm the first one to review Big Box. I can't say enough nice things about the food. I have tried every single thing on the menu due to being fortunate enough to get to a tasting. All the meats are up there on my BBQ meter with the pulled pork rated the best. The veggy sides are breaking new ground on catering. I have to provide lunch for vegan and vegetarians frequently. Big box offers so many sides that it's easy to satisfy everyone. Brussel sprouts! Broccoli, vegan hash! Then to make more people happy, there are gluten free desserts! The delivery can be pricey but after having big box catered to three events, I can say that it was worth it to have happy people eating healthier. Thank you!"
"I'll be honest with you I have not actually had occasionally go it was one of the spots that I definitely definitely definitely intended to a diet I rather get get something because it's out of a their mobile it's black owned by women that impressed me those two factors impress me very very much the food of the menu looks spectacular and of course I'm a yelper so I got to be a foodie but not just any foodie a foodie that appreciates good food. The last night of my trip to Plano at made plans with the owner but I called it's it's one of those where you look at the meeting and see where they are so you essentially have to drive to where they are and I had made arrangements to meet on my last evening there in Plano due to certain circumstances they were not able to make it and I did call and the only explain to me what happened which I really really appreciate it, however when I go back that's going to be one of the first spots I go to because I will be calling to see where they are before I get there"
"Postino is my default Southlake spot. What's not to love? Especially if you love wine and tapas, two of my favorite things, and lucky for me the gluten free menu is robust. You can even get any of the bruschettas on gluten free bread, which is my preferred order. A bruschetta board allows you to choose 4 toppings, so you get 4 different pieces that are each chopped into 4 smaller bites. Perfect for sharing. My fave toppings are the goat cheese and pepper jam, the brie/apple/fig, the salami and pesto, and the mushroom and mascarpone. And there are so many others! Then the wine list is great ($6 glasses until 5pm) and they also have a fun cocktail menu. Full bar. Lots of seating."
"Street bites is an eclectic catering company that features popular street food favorites from all around the globe. Perfect for someone like me who will eat anything from anywhere :-)They did a pop up at my place of work and their staff were very friendly and quick in getting out the food to the very long line.I ordered a bulgogi beef rice bowl, which is obviously the Korean representation on the menu board. They had very generous amounts of beef heaped over white rice and came with a crunchy side salad. The beef were cut more like chunks instead of the traditional thin slices, which I personally didn't care for, but that's a matter of choice. Unfortunately the beef was a little chewy as it had obviously been cooking a while, but it is understandable since they're not cooking to order on this occasion. The sauce was also a bit too sweet for my taste, teriyaki perhaps? Dunno. I'd have preferred some fiery gochujang, but that's just me.The side salad gave a bit of crunch, which was a big plus for me as it added that extra bit of texture. Overall it was a 3/5 for me.The chocolate chip bread pudding with vanilla sauce was absolutely wonderful. Very generous portion which can easily be shared between 4 people on diets or 2 who aren't."
"I cannot complain one bit about this place. the food is Outstanding. The service is to match, its GREAT eating for 2 days! they give you too much food. And the ambiance.. top notch!!!"

I 10/10 recommend them!! I grew up eating Pierogis and haven't found a place in Dallas that makes a good one. This is the place!! The owners are absolutely wonderful and kind and make the best food. If you want to try something different at the Farmers Market I would definitely check this place out. Also the owner was wearing super cute Pierogi earrings that she was SO kind and gave me a pair!

Rode around Plano for awhile looking for a creditable place to have BBQ since I was only in town for a few days and really wanted Texas BBQ. First time in Texas so was lost on where to go to and what to get. Just so happened I took a chance based on a photo I saw and I was not disappointed.Ribs: I can't say anything bad about the ribs at all. They tasted just as good without sauce with sauce. Big A+++++ for me because I'm not big on some peoples sauces so that makes it worth it. However the sauce depending on the palate may be different it was a vinegar based which if not mistaken is Memphis style (don't kill me Texas if im wrong I'm just going on what I was told). The only down play was it was $45 for a 1/2 a rack which was a pretty big blow to me for pork ribs. If it was beef ribs I wouldn't have said anything but that was special I had just missed. Overall rating in my opinion would be a 8.5 for the ribs just because of the taste but the price just made those bites taste different. Peach Cobbler: I'm just going to say maybe it was because I got the last scoop of the pan and it was sitting there for awhile but that was not the peach cobbler I thought I was going to get. It tasted like something out of a grocery store freezer that was heated up which was disappointing since I really wanted something sweet after the amazing ribs. I will try again when I revisit so I don't want to deter anyone from the dessert but I will have to re-review this item so I'm not going to rate it. Presentation however it looked amazing...wished it had more peaches also...got maybe 2or 3 small cuts of peaches and the rest was crust. Jalapeño Mac and Cheese: So I've only had macaroni and cheese like this out of pigeon forge Tennessee which is in my other review but it was great I finished it first out of everything...really wished it was flattop seared which is how I had it before it just does something. However I would rate it a 8 must have. Brisket Wrapped Jalapeño Peppers: This was different all the way around for me. Loved every bit and loved the overall presentation. Definitely will be going back for those...$5 a piece which is not bad for everything in them. Rate these an 8 must have. Establishment: Great vibe!!! Manager and Bartender was attentive and came over to ask about the food. Locals was fun and was live. Sitting was little odd but wasn't terrible. Just never was a fan of people passing me while I was eating to order. My own bias opinion. I would rate the establishment a 9 just because it was exactly how I would want a BBQ place to look and feel. Prices: $85 for what I posted minus a banana pudding and pulled pork 1/4 pound. I find this to be a little pricey I'm not going to lie for the amount of food that was given. I don't live personally in a cheap area at home so it was okay for me but for someone who may not...it's not a bang for a buck kind of place but a definite must try.

Our company hosted a "Lunch with Soul" last month for our employees and after much research, had RubaLee's catered in. To say it was divine is an understatement. The food was made with so much love and passion and you could taste it with each bite! The smothered pork chops, shrimp and grits and banana pudding were the absolute highlights of the meal! Ms. Maggie and her sister add did their mom proud with their service and quality of food. HIGHLY recommend for your next big event. They do weddings, graduations, corporate events, you name it!

I'm am just arriving home from an event for 14 people tonight. We had colleagues travel in from across the country and across the globe who wanted a "Texas" experience .... well Larry and Sarah provided an amazing time for all! From the yummy brisket dinner to tips and tricks of the trade, to a spirit-filled competition, the evening was a great success at a reasonable price! I highly recommend this for your next team building event!

Two Skillets was a perfect match for our event! The staff was so easy to communicate with. Within minutes of their setting up, I was free to socialize with my guests, without worrying about a thing! The food was beautiful and the staff made us feel "looked-after" the entire night.

Big Box catered out luncheon and I was not pleased. The brisket was overcooked and very dry. The meat tasted like it was leftover from the day before and reheated. I didn't even touch the chicken. It looked under cooked and almost raw. The meat was a disappointment.

"Great food, OMG, great service! I want to try every single thing on the menu! We have had brunch and lunch and still have more to try! We will be back for sure!"
"Daquari:A+++ I tried the peach and mango mixed together. The flavors blended perfectly together, the alcohol content was on point. The 16oz for $7 bucks definitely gave me a buzz. The 3pc HH wing combo: C-They serve wing sections, so in my opinion they may want to reconsider the amount they provide due to the size. The meal came with 3 flats and an order of fries. For $6 bucks I felt the portions sizes were small. Especially since you're only receiving 3 undersized wings, they could've gave more fries to accommodate. However I will say the flavor on the wings (lemon pepper) was OUTSTANDING!!! I would definitely recommend that flavor. Would I visit this establishment again. Yes, but only for the daquari, not the food."
"My team orders their sandwiches once a month for our team meeting and I must say the sandwiches are good. I've tried the toasted turkey and the grilled steak I'm not a fan of horseradish and the sandwich is still good. Plus it's a fan favorite amongst my team"
"I love their loaded potatoes!!! The best in OakCliff!! Quick take out process and awesome customer service. A bit small inside but great delicious food! Enjoy!!"
"Thyme & Date delivered, curated, and set up a grazing table for the departure breakfast after our wedding. They were friendly, communicative, professional, and punctual. Their presentation was BEAUTIFUL, and everything was fresh and delicious. Honestly, those might have been the best blueberries I've ever had. Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Leon and team -- exactly what we needed to cure our hangovers, and start our day."
"This restaurant was on my list to try and finally got around to visiting with my Yelp buddies. The place is casual with a bar that offers beer, wine and cocktails. They offer a buffet during the week and an à la carte buffet on Saturdays. The drinks were made fresh, and we tried the sambol bun, egg hopper and cutlets for appetizers. The table ordered different dishes ranging between the biryani, curry and rice, beef bowl, lumprais and roti combo. I tried the fish curry and rice, which had a complete homemade flavor. Cannot ask for anything more! The only call out I would have is the portion of rice is too small if you are really hungry :). Everyone enjoyed their dishes and had great feedback on the flavor and presentation. The sambol is a must try.The restaurant was fairly busy and service was a tad slow. It did look like they were understaffed. Family run establishments that make good food are always great. Who cares if the service is a bit slow ;)Plenty of parking is available and the hoppers are made in the open kitchen which is nice to watch.Pricing : Moderate Will I return? : For sure!"
"My employer arranged a team outing at Tre Cooking Concepts, it was a lot of fun! We split up in teams and had a cook off. They gave us a handful of mandatory ingredients and you had to cook two different dishes but use all the ingredients and no googling for recipes, the point is that you have to be creative as a team.We had to come up with different dishes using pork loin filets, I thought they came out pretty good even though we didn't win. Chef Tre was there and very involved which made it fun. He told some stories, joked around, tried some of your food etc. After all the teams were done, he graded the dishes based on creativity, flavor and presentation. The other teams could sample whatever food was left.We also had a lunch included which included shrimp with grits appetizer. This dish was awesome, great flavor and just enough heat and the shrimp had good flavor and was cooked perfectly. They also served a chicken dish which was good and had macarons and assorted cupcakes as dessert. Everyone loved the outing. They also have special nights where couples can cook different types of cuisines and other types of events."
"An awesome offering to our small community of West Dallas. This is a food service kitchen that offers food from multiple restaurants. It's awesome you can order online or at the kiosk from different places at once. All food items are delivered to secure pickup stations with code and links from your phone to unlock. I really enjoyed House of Hibachi and look forward to trying the other 20 different restaurants."
"Seriously some of the best bbq I have ever eaten... Reached out for catering for 3 people, received a quick response and was very friendly and easy to pick up my food. No brick and mortar location currently but trust me this is worth the drive to get catered. Support local and give Jacked Up BBQ your business!!!I ordered: Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket Sides: Mac & Cheese, BBQ beans, and Cheesy Cream CornEverything was so tender, the ribs fell off the bone, and all the sides tasted like amazing. Also for once in my life I did not need any BBQ sauce to eat with my meal - perfectly seasoned and made with love Fun fact: Jacked Up BBQ was 2019 Lonestar BBQ Society Champion, and the 2018 State Fair of Texas BBQ champion"
"Wow!! I found this place because of their state fair food packs and it was out of this world! GF fried Oreos, funnel cakes, churros, and corn dogs- all so good. I recommend you try them out and am looking forward to trying more very soon!"
"Great little catering business. Family owned and great burgers! Try them! Thank you!"
"The Bop Bop is located in the Revolving Kitchen & has delicious foods! I ordered pickup for lunch and my food was ready and warm. I love how the bowls have a variety of rice, noodles, meat and vegetables so it is a lot to eat, it was packed! I could even say it's two servings & it was very satisfying. I enjoyed the flavors and quality of their ingredients. They were so kind and gave me samples of their mandu for free, which I actually hoped for. I received a kind text message afterwards thanking me for my order. I'm definitely coming back to try their other foods!"
"Great food and service for my wedding over the weekend. They were extremely accommodating on the menu, including a last minute change the day before for a guests special dietary needs. Highly suggest the taco bar!"
"We had an amazing dinner (catfish and the ribeye ) We weren't sure about the neighborhood at first but decided to give it a try anyway and we were SO glad we did The inside is so eclectic - service was spot on and our food arrived hot and delicious! Large servings and kind and friendly service"
"I wish I could give D Jackson 5 stars but the meal I received fell very short when it came to the sides. I ordered a two meat plate of brisket, ribs, potato salad and greens. Now I'm fully aware we can't always expect food to be cooked exactly the way we grew up on BUT they seriously need to change their potato salad recipe. Never have I had potato salad made out of frozen hashbrown diced potatoes, shredded carrots & whatever else was added. The potatoes were still hard which is a big no. Instead of cutting corners just get a big pot & boil down some nice russet potatoes. No shredded carrots & light on the relish. The greens also fell quite short. Although meat was added there was absolutely no meat flavor in the greens, which is ironic. Maybe the meat is added after the fact. I can't say exactly what else they needed but they were not it. I tried to doctor up the sides but instead just threw them away. However, on the other hand the meat was pretty decent - 7/10. I was looking for more moisture & a smokey flavor. The portion size was right on which I am glad of because that's the only part I was able to eat & enjoy once some BBQ sauce was poured on top. I really was hoping to rave about this place because of the hype of prior reviews but I honestly don't see myself returning. Hopefully my suggestions are taken into consideration."
"Miranda is what makes you a 5 star establishment. I broke my femur last July and she always helps me in and out of the store. Food is always great, but she takes your store to the next level. Makes great recommendations, very friendly and kind"
"Growing up with "Doozies" as a staple sandwich for special occasions, it was always exciting to attend any event where Doozies would be served. Throughout the years, many companies have tried to make them but there are none quite like the original. If you haven't tried them or don't know what they are, then order them right now! You will not be disappointed. The owners are fantastic and do their best to accommodate special requests. The desserts are insanely good. Especially their lemon bars and hello Berthas. If you have a special event coming up, don't think. Call and order some Doozies and Desserts."
"What does one do when there is an 8 mile back up on 35 South on the way home from work? Well, one finds the first restaurant and stops to wait out traffic. I sat at the bar facing 35 so I could watch the traffic crawling along while having a beer. They brought me chips and salsa that were pretty average, but not bad. The bartenders were super friendly. Hopefully I'll never need to stop here again, but that sure beat sitting on the freeway in the heat of the summer.***This place is called The Alamo now. I updated the Yelp listing."
"This delicious menu didn't disappoint. The freshest food was served; the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail had plump shrimp and a lot of Avocado and was extremely tasty. The boiled Combo #1 had an extraordinary amount of crab legs, huge shrimp, meaty sausage, potatoes and boiled eggs. The sauce was perfect, as well. They offer self-serve ice cold water infused with either cucumber or lemon; love that! The service was over-the-top friendly. We loved the casual yet polished ambiance which made for a pleasant dining experience. VERY CLEAN! We'll definitely be back!"
"If you have not had the opportunity to try EZ's TexMex BBQ, you're missing out! Their catering service is top notch! Great tasting brisket, ribs, baked beans and of course mac & cheese... You will not be disappointed!"
"Frisco Hall is a fantastic place to hold an event. Both the management and the staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating, It has several different flexible spaces, and the location is convenient for most people in the area."
"Fun place to go for breakfast. Authentic and home cooked. Interesting old world ambience. Warning serious coffee drinkers -- If you like coffee with breakfast, bring your own because all they offer is Turkish coffee, a very strong sludgy bitter drink. There is no milk or cream to dilute it. Just sugar! ugh. The cup is so tiny no room to add water. This is a very strong, very small cup of coffee at 3.50 a pop. My breakfast would have been stellar if I had brought a travel mug of my own fresh brewed coffee with cream! I doubt they would mind so long as you ordered the food from the menu and left a tip. Otherwise, I highly recommend for a place off the beaten track. Go early if on the weekend because it gets very crowded."
"If you're looking for the absolute best customer service and delicious food then I definitely recommend Cherished Events And Catering! She will go above and beyond to create what you've dreamed of for your event. Her food not only looks gorgeous it tastes outstanding as well. I've worked events with her and I've had her cater events, all were a complete success because of her hard work and dedication doing what she loves."
