The ambience was good as usual, although it was crowded when we went there around noon on a Sunday. We paid with separate checks which was no problem for this waitress."

"A quaint little breakfast spot in the gayborhood with a line out the door on a Friday morning must mean this place is good, right? Craving a solid meal and after getting -insert star emojis- PAID -insert more star emojis- I wandered down into the gayborhood of DFW, which I might add is about less than a mile from me. I've seen this place during the late party evenings but never during the day walker's shifts because I'm usually in bed and can't be bothered to leave it. Ask Eddie. It's true. I park my car right across the street from the bar windows to people watch, watch my car, and enjoy the brightness of the sun like an ancient Chinese grandpa while enjoying my glass of water. But I digress to the food. Touch down taco on corn - jalapeño wrapped bacon with eggs and smothered with cheese - I would probably ask them to melt the cheese a little bit but the flavor was stellar. Chef's favorite omelette - goat cheese, carmalized onions, mushrooms, brisket - flavors were lost for me. The mushrooms had texture and flavor that was absorbed by everything, you had the tang from the cheese, and the brisket didn't really do much. It was okay to say the least. Pancake - can't mess that up! For a single mini flap jack it was good."

"I've only been here twice now. A daughter once lived nearby and coming here was her Christmas Eve tradition. We went with her again last night. It's cafe food done well. I got the chicken fried steak with mashed (I've already forgotten what they call them) potatoes and Brussels sprouts. It was amazing. The steak was fork tender (I still used my knife). The server wasn't overly attentive, but the food made up for it. I initially thought my steak option was a little small, but I was stuffed as I took the last bite, so it was perfect.This may be our new tradition as well."

"How eggsquisite is Eggsquisite Café! I really enjoyed this lovely little café! I was not expecting to walk into such a classy looking place! My group and I were sat immediately and service was prompt and friendly. I totally gobbled up the fresh and flavorful Greek wrap that I ordered. The chicken was moist and delicious. I got French fries as my side and they were perfect - crisp on the outside and tender inside. I am looking forward to my next visit when I can spend more time and try more food and their mimosa flight!"

My husband and I both ordered the Eggs Benedict because we know what we're about. Breakfast potatoes were sufficiently crispy but flavorless. Hollandaise sauce had no bite, and the poached eggs were way overcooked. Like the yolk was solid. You'd think for the amount of time they let the food overcook, it'd be hot when it got to you. But that wasn't the case. The service was fine but there was a little bit of "the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing" situation going on, so that was a bit inconvenient as well. Overall, we will not be returning."

I wish I lived closer, as I would be a frequent customer.The menu looked so interesting that I want to come back for breakfast sometime. The star of this place is the service and the food.Noah, our waiter gave us great service. He was on top of our experience and was a big part of making the total meal experience a great one.I ordered the pancake combo breakfast. It came with 2 eggs cooked to order, a breakfast meat, hash browns or home fried potatoes, and of course pancakes! It was all really good! Also at our table was a BLT Sandwich and the Tuscan Grilled Cheese. Everyone was really happy with their meals. "If you're in need of strong, delicious coffee. This is the spot. Can actually taste the espresso in the drinks that I can appreciate when most "hip" coffee spots don't hit the spot. There is a huge workspace towards the back, where you can sip your coffee and do some work.I got the Kentucky cold brew, for under 5$ this drink was 10/10. Can opt for a splash or in my case, a heavy splash of milk of your choice. Cold brew was strong and so so good. Def will be back to this cafe!!"

When the party that arrived after us had their food this review lost even more hope... my husband went to the bathroom and says they were very clean, which made me think the smell is not their fault. The food was good but the lobster bisque tasted like it was made from imitation crab meat. The Reuben had no thousand island dressing ... do is it a Reuben? First time likely last time"

I was surprised to find out they had gluten free bread! The pimento cheese dip was very good. The chips however didn't have the best flavor. They almost had an over cooked taste. The Turkey sandwich was very good! It had a nice spicy kick to it. I was shocked that the gluten free bread didn't just fall apart when I picked it up. The food here was very good. I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're in the area!"

I found myself in this part of downtown on business so, decided to partake in a coffee and pastry. Palmieri came up with good temperatures on Yelp so, I went for it. Its located in the Gentrified area called Farmers Market. In my childhood this was a real working farmers market and you could come here on any day of the week and find a selection of common foods, from fresh vegetables to meat and everything in between. Now it's been enclosed and spaces rented to food stalls and shops. Nice area. Most businesses were still closed when I arrived at about 920am. I searched for a while until I found Palmieri cafe. I didn't realize it was a walk-up. No harm though, they have an excellent staff of three waiting to expertly help you.I ended up ordering a Cappucino and Cornetto. The Cappucino was perfectly prepared and placed in a Real Cup for my pleasure. A Cornetto is a pastry made with eggs, butter, water, and sugar, then filled with pastry cream.I have to admit. For almost $5 I expected more. The flavor of the bread was fairly average and I expected a bite of richness. The cream filling was almost nonexistent. They could improve here.I would say if you are here and in the mood for a coffee or pastry give them a try. Otherwise, I don't think id go out of my way to get here!"
