"This was my first visit and I lived the vibe and ambiance of this restaurant. They hit on all cylinders with an outside happening area with a soundstage for live music, a fireplace to sit around and an area for kids to be kids. The inside has a great feel too. 5 star all the way to whoever designed this place! Our service was OK, but our server had an 8 top in her section and I believe our table suffered a little neglect because of it. For example the kitchen runner set our food down and left and the next time we saw her was 10 mins before we saw our server. I needed malt vinegar for my fish and chips, and by the time I got it my food was no longer hot. Our drinks went dry as wel, which should never happen in my opinion. Food wise I ordered the wrong thing. I got fish and chips and they were pretty average. Also at our table was ordered salmon and a burger. I had a taste of those and will say I lost the menu lottery tonight. The fish and chips were not even in the same league as the salmon and the burger. If this were my restaurant I would step them up, or take them off the menu.Overall just an ok experience. I would come back, but you couldn't pay me to eat the fish and chips again."
"LocationEast DallasParkingLarge lot which fills up fast, street parkingAtmosphereChill brewery. SeatingInside bar, booths, tablesOutstanding de-tables, chairs, umbrellas-like we were at a art. ServiceOder at the bar-fast, friendlyMenuSpecial menu, food, beer, beverage. We had the sparkling brut-crisp, not too dry. Refreshing. Hoppingeimer-perfect! The salmon salad was AMAZING! Lots of sliced cherry tomatoes, feta, cucumber slices, onion, bib lettuce. Light vinaigrette. So good!! SummaryWe were recommended to cone here-new fav place!! Great food, wide list if beers, chill atmosphere!"
"Had a really good visit here on a Saturday afternoon. The beers were great but the best part was talking to the staff. We had a non beer drinker with us and they provided really personal suggestions and have samples to make sure they had a good experience. We also helped taste test a new drink they were working on.A typical brewery experience with snacks and you can bring your own food but the team makes the difference."
"This place is a low key hide out the owner and beertenders love what they do they have a great amount of knowledge of what they brew and the process !!! I recommend a blonde or milk stout"
"Cute little place in the heart of downtown Frisco. The folks that own this place are super friendly and very helpful when trying to decide what to order. They will get you whatever samples you would like to help you decide. I ordered the Sleigh Ride Seltzer and it was amazing! I am already looking forward to coming back and trying more of their amazing selections."
"Just moved from Austin after living in the heart of Texas that has the best breweries. This place did not disappoint. They have two bars--and the upstairs patio is amazing! Food is great and has a good variety. Not to mention - great service!"
"Cool, laid back brewery in old downtown Carrollton. I wasn't sure what to expect going in but quickly found our way around. There is plenty of shaded seating outside to keep you cool in this Texas heat. I enjoyed the Rosé and tried a couple of other options in the flight. I really enjoyed the food, the burger was delicious and cooked well. The staff i encountered were all very helpful and friendly."
"This place is an institution. One of my favorite stories to tell people is that the first day my wife and I moved to Dallas from California, a rep from Peticolas let me try some velvet hammer for free and take it home... and this was in the before times when you could only get beer home in a growler! So for someone just out of college and just getting their start in a hot hot apartment, having a growler of velvet hammer and no furniture but making it work is a very special special memory to me. I go out of my way to get their beer whenever I can, especially at Torchys!I've run their 5K twice, and it's a super fun event with an excellent vibe and excellent swag.I had the honor of meeting the founder at an event at Alamo Drafthouse, and getting to tell him my story and he seems like a totally great dude!If you haven't gotten to come here and watch a soccer game yet, add that to your Dallas bucket list!"
"Great place to hang out even for a weekday.Stopped by on tuesday night for a bingo night. We had to seat ourselves and order at table using the QR code.It was convenient, but it would be great if they allow substitutions or an option to remove something from food.We ordered few beers, classic burger, brisket cheese steak, nachos and cheese and veg wrap.Service was quick and beer and food were amazing!Bingo was okay, their sound system could use some upgrades. Will definitely go back for upcoming events"

Dropped in here for a brunch a few weeks ago with my wife and a couple of her former co-workers. It was a beautiful Saturday, just begging for an outdoor setting for brunch. First thing to know, I think this place has the most dog-friendly and "pup-ular" patio ever, so be prepared. Our servers were very nice and prompt, and our drinks came out quickly. Mine was Gary's Michelada, a wonderful combination of tomato juice, Tabasco, Worcestershire sauce, and their Gary Golden Ale, which is described as a "hoppy ale", but the hoppiness was tamed with the other ingredients. Served in a tall glass with a yummy strip of bacon, it was a great alternative to that other brunch favorite, the Bloody mary. Moving on to the food, we started with hush puppies for the table, which netted us five deliciously brown and crispy balls of delight, which were also soft and still moist on the inside, with just the right amount of jalapeno kick. The lemon hot honey drizzle was modest and added a great flavor without being overwhelming. For my main, I opted for the Armor Signature Burger, served with pepperjack cheese, crispy jalapenos, a bit of sweet bacon jam, and a juicy meat patty and bacon. It was done to a proper medium as requested, and accompanying fries were crispy and delicious as well. I did sample some of my wife's bacon fried rice and while I wish it had had more of the promised house kimchi, it was a flavor delight and was popular all around the table. This is a great place for brunch. They have an expansive and nice looking indoor seating area as well for when the weather gets rough, we'll be sure to check that out

LOVED our first visit! So much to enjoy, and sounds like plans in the works to mature the already excellent experience further. We came because I love the Hoppenheiner beer I get at local package retailers. The brewery is what I look for - tables for socializing, a good selection of beer, and a view in to a clean high quality establishment. Hands up. I am excited about an upcoming project to layer in a coffee roaster so I will be back once that installation is complete. Be still my heart. I believe in dual use space and this hits the sweet spot. The food menu is creative and I passed this time for lack of plant based options. Hopefully more to come! Pleasant staff and service. The model is you order at the bar and walk your order to a seating of your choice, so you are doing the work here. I love that for flights you write down your own selection so there is no room for error. Flights are bit expensive. Overall we adored the total visit and cannot wait to come back especially when it warms up to sit outside in the lovely lawn seating.

Frisco's first craft brewery - what's not to love!!?? We really enjoyed our first time here. It's cozy, quaint and the beers on tap did not disappoint!! Owners and staff are super friendly greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome! Easy going chill vibe with fun hops decor throughout and a little patio out front with fire lamp with a garage roll up style door! Games on the tables and good music to boot! Perfect date night or gathering with some friends. I recommend the "orange Speedo" brew or get the beer flight like I did to try a few! There's a dark peanut butter one you MUST try! Soooo good! Welcome to the neighborhood guys we're excited you're here!

Atmosphere: 4/5I came here on a Sunday afternoon. It was surprisingly dead. The bar and restaurant as a whole are beautiful and spacious. Seating is comfortable and family friendly. There are a ton of TVs all around the restaurant (not just at the bar top) for sports which is why I initially came here. They had a few different games playing so definitely something for every fan.The bar itself was VERY clean and tidy, which I appreciated. Rick, the bartender, made thorough effort that everything was spotless which I love to see as a customer. My main complaint with the atmosphere was the music. They played country, which is totally fine, it was just very sleepy country. Not much energy in the music and more like stuff you'd slow dance to in a dive bar. Mix this up with more modern pop-country and I think they'd see a more energized crowd. Drinks: 4/5I only had 2 cocktails while I was here; the Black N Mule and the espresso martini. - Black N Mule: this was good, but a bit too sweet and not gingery enough. If you like sweet cocktails and want something fruity it is worth trying.- The espresso martini is SUPERB. Rick executed this perfectly and it was very well balanced. Highly recommend. Food: 5/5Food was delicious. When I browsed the menu online initially I wasn't terribly impressed as it looked like your basic bar food. But there were a few standouts so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. Everything was incredibly well executed. The specials really tipped the scales too.- Coconut Shrimp - delicious! Not a ton of heat in this dish but the flavors were incredible and exceeded my expectations. - Mojito Lime Chicken with Orange vinaigrette: a pleasant surprise. I initially wanted an elevated salad but the menu didn't appear to have anything that fit that bill. This was the chef special of the day and I hope they make it a staple! It's SO flavorful. The only concern I had was there were a few bites of chicken that I was uncertain if they were fully cooked (due to texture, not temperature or appearances) but this could be me being paranoid. The chicken was also very flavorful and juicy. I would order this again. - Brownie Sundae: a pleasant surprise! I expected your basic cold/dense brownie square with a dollop of ice cream on top. But the chef made tweaks that took this to an outstanding level. Probably the best brownie I've had in a couple years. Service: 4-ish/5This is the one area that I'm back and forth on. If you had asked me what the service was an hour into my visit, I'd say a 2.5-3. But by the end we were sitting at a 4.5-5. This is what has my overall review at a 4.I interacted with Amber, the manager, first. She is lovely, attentive, and has a great personality tailored to the service industry. Very pleasant and engaging. Outside of interacting with her, it was tough to get service from the first hour & a half of bar staff I encountered. I felt like I had to call from across the bar to get service/food/drinks as there were no check in's from staff. They were very kind and helpful when you could get their attention, but I didnt see the level of proactivity that I'd expect to see from a bar like this. Verbal & nonverbal check-ins with customers every 15-20 minutes should be standard, in my opinion. After the first hour and a half, a couple servers who were not my bartenders, improved my experience tenfold. Jason came around to check on me as he was inputting tickets (I was immediately in front of the bar service station) which throughout the rest of the afternoon led to a number of great food recs (the salad and brownie were both his suggestions) and engaging conversation. I cannot emphasize enough how pleasant and professional of a server Jason is and how much he specifically turned around my impressions of this bar. The interactions with Jason seemed to spur a whole new (and engaging) side of my bartender Rick as well and the service and experience on all fronts improved significantly from there. It then felt like a bar I would *want* to become a regular at.From the backstory I gathered, it seems the owner is well aware of past service based complaints and inconsistencies in training and is taking big steps to improve. The manager Amber was hired to revitalize the bar and create consistent and quality experiences. A purge has happened in non-compliant staffing and those who remain are being retrained and brought up to a higher standard. From what I learned, this bar has a lot of exciting things on the horizon (seasonal offerings!), and they have the framework and now an actionable plan and leadership in place to make it something really incredible. I imagine by mid November this spot will be *the* place to be.All in all, I would recommend and I'm excited to see the improvements come to fruition!

Inside is dog friendly Took my work team to trivia night on Thursday at 7pm. I recommend arriving at least 15 mins early to grab a seat. Trivia lasted two hours - 3 rounds of 10 questions. Teams up to 6people and a picnic table sat 8-10 comfortably. Two teams can sit at one table. Trivia is playable in saloon and from second story interior balcony as long as screens/tech is working appropriately. Trivia was very fun. This is comparable to Geeks Who Drink. Really a fun group with a good mix of advanced and approachable creative questions. Skip the nachos. Order the fried pickles or sliders. Beer was delicious. They will help a sober attendee out and have off menu NA beers that they will serve in glasses. Lots of near by parking. This is a new fave of mine.

"I met some friends for trivia night. I started with the Ube Pina.... a purple beer! I wasn't sure about it but the bartender let me sample it first. It's like a pina colada meets a beer, so delicious!! I also tried the Echo Chamber - Blackberry Lemonade. It was also good, definitely less sweet than the Ube. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. It's a very friendly bar; I noticed they won awards for "neighbor bar feel", "best community", etc. The area isn't the greatest, but there's some street parking available."
"We've been hitting up Odd Muse quite regularly for the last year or so and we continue to have a great time. The place is relaxed, lots of pets, kiddos (supervised) and board games to go around. The staff are always super friendly and happy to give you samples of anything you'd want to try. Hazy IPAs are definitely their strength imo and they always have something creative cooked up so you'll always end up trying something new and inventive. If you are not into strong hazys they do have a long list of other beers as well including ones they've won a lot of awards for (for example the 500 pesos Mexican style lager just won a silver medal last week). There's also usually a food truck out on the weekends to pair up with your brew or you can always order something in. Great relaxed vibes here. Great job team!!!!"
"I briefly met the owner earlier this year, and in addition to being a nice guy, he seemed very passionate about his business. So when I noticed them on Door Dash I gladly ordered lunch as this is the type of person and business I want to support. The first time, I tried the Angus sliders off the appetizer menu since I wasn't too hungry and it was plenty for $9.99. The patties were very thick so they were filling for the size. They come with cheese, red onion and a bbq sauce. I got it without onion and the sauce on the side. The burger was well seasoned, the slider buns were buttery and crispy on the edges and were also thicker than your average slider bun (very smart choice) and the sauce was tasty and complimented it well. It was a really good first impression. I think I saw this on the Yelp delivery menu more recently at $1 more, which is understandable- supply chain issues and more expensive protein costs will of course impact the menu prices.I feel pretty certain I tried several sandwiches from here this summer, but with my ADD if I don't have a pic posted, it may not have happened, lol. So I'll just stick to the details I definitely remember. About a month ago I ordered the pot roast grilled cheese with tots. I believe it was $13.99. It comes with jalapenos, but I never know how spicy jalapenos will be and I was at work, so I got it without. It was a good thickness and the portion was more than fair for the price. I have no complaints as I like grilled cheese, I like brisket and I like tots. It was a solid meal that got me through the day and I think I was only able to finish about half of it. Today I tired the sirloin steak Caesar salad for $12.99. While I wouldn't have minded more steak, the size of the salad matched my expectation. I liked that the thin slices made it easier to eat with other ingredients and the dressing was much tastier than I typically get from a Caesar salad.I haven't been in person due to my work schedule, but they are located in The Shops at Highland Village and if I find myself over there with extra time, I would definitely stop in. Seems like a nice place for Happy Hour on the patio.I find their appetizer menu especially to be interesting and varied and it seems like they put a lot of time and thought into their sauces. The rest of the menu is typical bar fare with a variety of nachos, burgers, sandwiches and salads, so exactly the type of food my husband eats. I just like that they have a good mix of proteins to choose from like shrimp, chicken, turkey, pork and I think I've seen an impossible burger on the menu. I saw a few reviews mentioning tiny portions, but I haven't had that experience at all. I know several specifically mentioned items that are appetizers, so I'm not sure if people are trying to make a meal out of Happy Hour apps or if people are still struggling to accept price fluctuations with supply and demand. I mean, I'm not thrilled that I've been spending more at the grocery store, but businesses are going through the same struggles so I'm not surprised if I see something more expensive than it was the last time. Besides, the price is completely in line with the other businesses in the area and there are more expensive options in the same shopping center."
"Staying nearby rode the Lime Scooter to FCB to sample the brewskis. Loved the Especial, a Mexican style lager brewed with epic hops, on premises. Nice servers and lots of choices. They have huge indoor area for watching games or patio to enjoy the rare nice weather days."
"Great, relaxed place to hang out, try some different beers, and catch up with friends. I've only been once and only tried two different beers (both IPAs) and thought both were solid. The staff was very friendly. There is a nearby food truck and you can bring in your tacos or BBQ, but I also saw folks bringing in some pizzas (not sure where from). One of the IPAs that I had (I think it was called the Northeast Texas) was very good and I'd recommend it highly."
"I love how amazing the service is here. I'm a vegetarian so I ordered the loaded baked potato but with queso and macaroni on top instead of meat. They charged me for a non meat baked potato ($4 less) which a I really appreciated since I didn't order meat. The food was super fast. The beer cheese tasted way too much like beer to be enjoyable for me but the pretzel (minus the extra seasoning on top) was really nice! The baked potato was huge and kept me full for a long time. I'd definitely be back here and plan to visit again"
"Love this place! They have fantastic weekend events. Follow them on FB or IG. I especially love how people bring their dogs in. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Seth is the best. Highly recommended this brewery. Keep up the great work!!"
"We used the private room space over the weekend and had a great experience. The room was nice and had a TV inside as well. Service was also great. Between those there, we had pizza, wings, shrimp starter, tacos, chicken straps, and other items. Everything was great and I heard the drinks were as well. I definitely want to come back here soon."
"Great beer with multiple selections that aren't just IPAs. Same for food. Cool setting. Disappointed that there were zero tshirt men's options. Would have liked to have treated myself and rep a new top 10 brewery."
"We spontaneously stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to check it out after seeing their sign for cider. This is such an adorable brewery! Lots of seating indoors with cute decor. Free vintage arcade games (we played 2 player Tetris). There is also a Photo Booth for a charge. Large outdoor fenced patio area with seating and some lawn games. Pet friendly. The staff was extremely friendly and offered us samples of their cider and hard ginger ale. That hard ginger ale was delicious! We spoke with the owner about their brewing practices. Allergy note: their cider and hard ginger ale are made gluten-free but are brewed in the same stainless steel barrels as their beer so despite cleaning in between, there is a theoretical risk of cross-contamination. They also had a substantial wine list and I enjoyed a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. We will definitely return here again and bring our dog!"
"Always a good time here. The tap room is small, but the staff is always great. You'll get all the beers they sell at stores, plus any special experimental beers. They don't sell food, so BYOF. They have a bunch of board games, and you can go walk around the actual brewery too. Check this place out!"
"This place was so cute It's located adjacent to the Truck Yard in the Colony. They specialize in Sour beers hence the nameBut they have a full barA small wine list And you can always go next door to grab a different beer beverage if you prefer Lots of seating inside and outThey literally share the entire outdoor space with truck yard so there's something for everyone AND you have access to the amazing food truck offeringsLots of TVs for sports watching and the roll up garage doors ice house style for taking in the beautiful rolling hills of Austin ranch..Later this year this complex will have a tiki bar and they'll never get rid of me haha The service was great Dog friendly Plenty of parking Highly recommend"
"Love coming here. Bartender is always friendly and informative. I'm not much of a drinker but the craft beers they have are really tasty. Bartender explains what they taste like and helps you decide what to try. They have different fun things you can do like Bingo, Trivia and Lotería. Tacos and pizza are available on different days. I have been several times and each time had fun. Parking can be a little difficult. Arrive early to ensure a good spot. People here are friendly also. Plus sometimes they have live music. Check out their facebook page for dates and times of what's happening."
"Lots of space for large parties both inside and large outdoor space when the weather is nice. Food is solid, ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and taco trio. Great selection of beers as well!"
