"First time at this restaurant, GPS took me to the inner corner of the shopping center, but it's on the edge of the building. There was about a 20 minute wait, and it was pretty true to the wait time. Once I got my table I didn't realize I had to order in the front. I eventually ordered my Philly Cheesesteak and it was SUPER good. It was hot and flavorful. The service was excellent. I was asked regularly if everything was good, from just about everyone working. It was very pleasant. One thing I really appreciated was when I asked for a cup for water, they gave me a good size cup for water. Most restaurants give you a 4-8 ounce cup. Definitely would like to go back the next time I am in the Arlington area."

So, finding a Guatemalan restaurant brought immediate excitement, as I'd never had the opportunity to sample food from that country. The restaurant is fairly large, with an amply sized dining area as well as a coffee shop, bakery, and small store.Upon my arrival it was pretty busy, with a wait of roughly 20 minutes. I figured surely this place had to be good! Once seated I was given a rather extensive menu that had a multitude of options I wasn't expecting. Let's start with the drinks; they have a large selection of hot and iced coffee beverages, from regular coffee to specialty flavored and seasonal lattes in addition to fruit flavored creations and smoothies. Essentially, whatever kind of coffee you fancy, they have it!The food menu is vast, and there are an abundance of traditional as well as American breakfast items ranging from enchiladas and chilaquiles to omelettes, French Toast, and pancakes. Although it wasn't on the menu, the server was accommodating and allowed me to get a mocha. After a long hard look, I decided on the eggs with loroco and cheese. The mocha was a creamy blend of chocolate and espresso that was quite satisfying, while the eggs came with plantains, refried black beans, salsa, and a slice of cheese. We were seated by the kitchen which added to the noise level.My second main point is that the food was good, but not as good as downtown. The wife's corned beef hash was dry. My chicken and waffles were good but not knock you socks off. The waffles were outstanding, light and fluffy, and the chicken was seasoned and not over-battered. Yet, something was missing to bring it all together. The sausage gravy is very good.They work really hard when the restaurant is so busy and so I understand our server may disappear for a time. I've seen this place during the late party evenings but never during the day walker's shifts because I'm usually in bed and can't be bothered to leave it. Ask Eddie. It's true. But I digress to the food. Touch down taco on corn - jalapeño wrapped bacon with eggs and smothered with cheese - I would probably ask them to melt the cheese a little bit but the flavor was stellar. Chef's favorite omelette - goat cheese, carmalized onions, mushrooms, brisket - flavors were lost for me. The mushrooms had texture and flavor that was absorbed by everything, you had the tang from the cheese, and the brisket didn't really do much. It was okay to say the least. Pancake - can't mess that up! For a single mini flap jack it was good."

The patio at Maple Landing perfectly faces the take off path of Southwest Airlines. The service is incredible. No sooner than seated, our beverage orders were taken. Some great suggestions were offered. They had brisket sausage. Yes, for brunch. I had the fluffiest french toast, with a ginormous pile of the plumpest, juiciest fresh blueberries ever. My eggs were a perfect over medium. My son ordered pancakes. To be honest, as big as they were, one would have been plenty. Super light, rose high enough to block a planes take off. Topped with caramalized bananas, nothing needed syrup. Best of all was the service. Every aspect of this experience was 6 star. Yelp has kind of spoiled me. I know know what to expect, and where to find it. The food and service was 5 star. The patio view of others flying off to great adventures earned a 6th star. I tried their chicken biscuit sandwich. It had a fried chicken thigh, kale apple slaw and honey. It was delish! Surprisingly, I also really enjoyed the pimento cheese. I'm not a typical pc gal, but this one seemed to have more flavor and heat to it. Overall, we had a really lovely brunch!
