"Right near SMU campus ! Delicious bagel sandwiches and easy to order with quick service ! Parking was easy in the lot. Will come back for a bagel or bagel sandwich next time !"
"This place is always consistent! Friendly staff (love the owners), delicious food, and good atmosphere! The spreads are so good and I love the texture of the bagel. 10/10!"
"One of my new FAVORITE places for breakfast. This place is addicting. Definitely do an online order on the weekend well in advance as the wait is usually around an hour, but I promise it's worth it! Once your order is ready you get in line at the drive through which is ALSO one of my favorite parts as I love a good drive through on the weekend! Dont try and go inside, it's so crazy. I would rate it less stars for that but it says To go through the drive through for a reason! They are fast and bubbly at the window and I love it!! The food is amazing. Nice CRISPY bacon and perfect avocado. I used to be a big breakfast taco person but this has been a fun twist to my breakfast on weekends! I haven't had the non breakfast here but if you are also a breakfast food person, try this place out! They make it as easy as I have found in Dallas!"
"We went two weeks ago and the wait was insanely long at 1pm on a Saturday. I ordered a coffee and apparently they don't have any normal sugar in the whole restaurant? I asked two different people cuz I didn't believe the first one. We noticed the woman calling out orders and handing out food seemed pretty annoyed with the people bugging her at the counter so we tried not to bother her. After nearly 30 minutes and seeing all the people in line cycle out and get their stuff, and the place started yo empty out, we decided to go ask and were handed a bag that had been sitting there for a few minutes. The screen still said our order wasn't ready. So anyways we finally get our cream cheese bagel, and egg and cheese bagel, and they're pretty mid. Probably going to continue searching for a regular bagel spot."
"Love this place! I order their pistachio muffins and they are delicious when i warm them. I recommend getting their lox sandwhiches with jalapeño cream cheese and an English muffin. I always order before I head to my 9 to 5."

I'm the complete opposite from a bagel snob. In fact, the only time I really eat bagels is when someone brings them to work. If you're a Dallas foodie, you'll have heard about Shug's! Been on my list, but never around at a convenient time. Tbh I was wanting to go to Lubbie's instead (more so cause they were top of mind), but they close at 2p on Sunday. They have breakfast and lunch bagels. They have the whole menu (small on the fridges or something) when you walk right in, but there are no prices on it. Then they have the menu on the wall with prices. I wish the smaller menu had prices. Or that they have those laminated menus that most places have, so people have time to look before getting in line,.You order at the front and they call out your number. Since it's made to order, it may take a bit depending on how busy it is. It was pretty busy and was surprised we found a spot to sit. There are some chairs outside too.The base breakfast shug and spicy shug are $10.25. Classic lox $13.50. The lunch ones are closer to ~$13. Turkey is $13.50 Got the Chopped Cheese (ground beef) for $12. I actually thought it said chopped beef and was surprised that it was ground beef.. I wouldn't have gotten it if I knew it was ground beef. it's a decent size and filling. And I enjoyed it. But value wise... I'm not blown away. But I do understand the hype.the regular bagel and smear seemed like there was a lot of cream cheese.I wish I just tried the breakfast shug. Maybe next time.. I think they would find some success if they opened a location in the suburbs. They are also not the only bagel shop in town anymore...

As close as you can get to NY style bagel in North Texas. This place stays consistent with their bagels.

Shout out to Shug's for amazing bagel sandwiches and a sweet healthcare discount (we frequently get their bagels for the team in the hospital in the mornings). I'm a sucker for egg bagels and they have a delicious everything egg bagel. I've never been successful in ordering just a bagel with cream cheese - I end up getting a sandwich with the works. (Over easy egg, avo, hash brown, sausage, pepper jack - one time they accidentally gave me ghost pepper cheese, which was actually not horribly spicy and surprisingly delicious). The indoor seating is quite limited, and they have some outdoor seating available. The orders can take a long time, though I attribute that to them being busy around the clock, basically.

Great breakfast and coffee. The bagels are exceptional, and they pair them with a number of tasty breakfast and lunch sandwich options. The staff were super friendly. I got a cappuccino and The Yankee Clipper (Steak, Egg & Cheese). The bagel was delicious and sandwich ingredients were savory and good. The place was pretty packed the entire time I was there, but you can order on line.

Bagel Cage 21 is still my favorite local haunt for getting my bagel fix. I especially love their beautiful, bright rainbow bagels that they only make and serve on the weekends. The downside is that the weekends are extremely busy here and the available space to stand in line or wait for your order, or even to sit down and eat is extremely limited. There are a few tables and chairs inside and out, but the majority of customers take their orders to go. The staff and customers are always very polite here. Prices are a bit steep, but everything is these days. My bagel with sausage, egg, cheese and cream cheese was about $11, and my husband's salmon and lox on an everything bagel was about $12. We didn't get drinks, but they have a fridge at the front of the store that makes it easy to grab a soda or OJ to go. You can also order coffee or other beverages from the counter when you place your order. I wish these guys would consider expanding to a new space or maybe buy out the Jersey Subs next door so that they could offer their customers more room.

This place has an amazing vibe as soon as you walk in. Very happy and upbeat staff, great bagels and just an overall great experience. They have a great selection of bagels and the various accouterments necessary to create the bagel of your dreams. Definitely recommend for anyone who loves bagels.

I apologize in advance but no pictures this time. This is one of the most embarrassing situations because my everything bagel with Lox and cream cheese and capers was hot and just out of the over. It was inhaled!!! Truly one of the most wonderful things I have put in my mouth in ages. I can smell fresh baked bagels and bread from the moment the door was opened. This place is a gem. Yet, they get busy and it can be a bit hectic when there are families waiting for food but the pizza's looked incredible. Everyone was so happy and not one plate wasn't devoured. NOTE Benny's Bagels on Frankford is a KOSHER establishment. You will not be able to bring in your own food or drinks. There is nothing made with Pork/Piggy (or any meat for that matter) Everything is made fresh on premise and their NY Water Bagel is still one of the best I have ever had. This is a family owned and operated establishment and the owner is highly engaged in it's success. My belly is full and I am smiling from ear to ear. Wish you all were here with me...********************HIGHLY RECOMMENDED********************

It was my first time at a bagel bar. I got an jalapeño bagel with sun-dried tomato cream cheese, and an iced oat milk latte with white chocolate. I loved both the bagel and my coffee. I really liked the cream cheese spread, which was very fresh and there were actual dried tomatoes in them. The bagel itself was really good and very big and the coffee was just perfect to go with it.I happy to have this place so close to home and something different to try on than the bagel chain in the area. I will definitely visit again!

"First time here ordered a toasted bagel sandwich with turkey, avocado, lettuce & vegan cream cheese for lunch and iced latte. All were delicious I will definitely go back next time I'm in the area. The team were all super nice & my to-go order came out quickly, too."
"This place is good. It's a chain but seems to be supported by repeat business, which is always a good sign. The lox bagel was legit!!! Get it open faced for extra salmon! Will come back to try their pizza. This place deserves more than 3.5 stars."
"I went this morning after a post workout treat! I got the goldi-lox bagel and it was so yummy! My brother got the cowboy bagel and he loved it! I also got an iced latte that was the perfect sweetness. Love the decor inside as well. The owners were very sweet & patient with my indecisiveness. They have only been open for 8 weeks & everyone needs to go! I will definitely be coming back :)"
"Small spot inside the building on 1700 pacific Avenue, down the escalator in the food court.Stop by for breakfast or lunch for tasty options at a fair price. On top of that great customer service! Friendly and helpful, will be back soon!"
"It was delicious. Had the jalapeno and cheddar with the cream of course and sausage. It literally melted in my mouth. They toasted it too. The parking is kind of tight or busy. But I had to try it. I think it's the same place from up the street and they just move locations. Have to try something else. But I like the jalapenos and chedder one so much. So I will stick beside it."
