Burger Island

Food... it's good, but has gotten REALLY pricy. I got a turkey burger which is one of the better ones I've had. $10.34 with $4.00 small tots and no drink. I asked for a cup of water that was poured from a pitcher with out any ice. Tasted like tap faucet. Service... the young lady working the register could really step it up in the customer service department. It's as if she really doesn't want to be there. I enjoy a side of mayo with my tots. When I asked for some, I was quickly told that they do not offer this. Something to do with a health risk... what???? Ever heard of mayo packets??This establishment used to be a byob. I brought a couple of beers and was surprised when the young no personality lady said, "you can't bring in food or beverages from the outside." I replied, " Since when." She said that there was a sign on the door and asked me to get rid of it. The owner heard everything going on and recognized me as a repeat customer of several times. She said that we could finish, but there was a problem one evening with some very rowdy customers that led to this new decision. Understand....Ambiance... it's clean. But, there was some really weird piano music playing that seemed associated with a children's video that was playing on the tv. A friend of mine, who happens to be a professional piano player, joined us later and made the comment, " that music is so creepy!" Agreed!Overall take off this, when you have extra money, get the food to go so you can take it home and eat and drink as you wish. At least I have mayo there!

Always quality food and service. Great for takeout. You order over the phone and it's always ready in about 10 minutes. The family that runs the place clearly care about excellent quality and service and are always polite and professional and the food is always prepared well and fresh.

The service is great and so nice! They have a huge variety of gourmet burgers and also their fried catfish baskets are delicious! Music ambiance is nice as well

I was in the area and was hungry, There was a major chain burger place nearby but I thought I'd try an independent and I am glad I did. Burger was good, fries were fresh cut fresh made and the combo price was less than I was expecting. I would definitely come here more often if I lived in the area.

My son was intrigued by the name and asked if we could go for lunch. Glad we listened! The kids got grilled cheese and fries, which they loved. I got the veggie burger, which is honestly one of the best veggie burgers I've had in a while. Not dry, didn't fall apart, and had actual veggies inside. My husband got the double jungle (the sweet lady behind the counter warned him it was HUGE - she was right. It was a man vs food situation, but he said it was delicious.) The place is super clean, has adorable retro booths, and super cute decor, that transports you to a calming little retro island. You can tell this place was built with love. The kids topped it off with blue bell ice cream. Can't wait to come back.

My go to spot ! A lowkey joint that has a reputation for having big burgers and some good appetizers . I always get the double deluxe with a side of fries. My stomach is always full and happy once I'm done with this burger. A lot of times I'm not able to finish this burger in one setting and will have to leave it for left overs. I tried the sweet potato fries once and they were very good. I also hear the sandwiches and subs are very good too. Great spot for good eats!

I first have to preface this review with the fact that I hardly ever order a burger anywhere. I am almost always disappointed because I feel like I can make a better burger at home. Enter Burger Island. I don't know what it is about this place but they have some killer burgers! I get the Island Burger and it is great. The meat is quality, the toppings are fresh. The Big Island is a huge 1/2 pound burger, but the smaller one is 1/4 pound and perfect for me. Last time we ordered, my friend got extra bacon and avocado and there was SO much bacon on it! My friend also enjoys their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. I also like their seasoned fries and tater tots, but if you get them to go, I suggest throwing them in an air fryer or the oven for a few minutes when you get back to crisp them up a little bit.

The jungle burger is the best - hot, fresh and ready in a timely manner. Staff is very nice as well

Went in to place a To go order . I wanted a To go jungle burger with the buns on the side because I don't want the burger all soggy and disgusting by the time I get home . They told me they will not put the buns on the side ..

I work next door at the Metro By T-Mobile and went inside to try to buy a small side of ketchup but he wouldn't sell me some ketchup i had to purchase something just for some ketchup. Ridiculous really No srars if you ask me do not recommend bad cuatomer service
