To think we stumbled into Bucky's on accident is crazy! Why didn't I know about this place before!? After enjoying the Deep Ellum Block Party for a bit, we decided to hunt down some brunch, and so we found our way to Bucky's! From their bottomless mimosa brunch, to their Cajun full menu! I felt transported back to the streets of NOLA during Mardi Gras! I decided on their Gumbo and it was delish but my boyfriend's meal was the star of the show! He got their fried chicken and waffles, and they spared no expense at portion size!!All the while you enjoy delicious food and mimosas, servers are constantly walking around refilling your glass so it never runs dry! They do not joke around about bottomless mimosas! We loved the vibes and the ambiance and will definitely be back for our next brunch day!

Everything on the plate was spot-on.Now, a tip for the drinks: save yourself the frustration and go straight for the moonshine. They have over 30 varieties to choose from, and it's their specialty for a reason. I tried the bottomless mimosas, but they were mostly orange juice, and the Bloody Mary, while packed with flavor, was missing that signature vodka kick.If you're looking for boozy cocktails, this might not be the place for you--unless you're ordering the moonshine. Overall, it's a spot worth visiting for the food and their standout moonshine selection!

A friend and I kicked off our Sunday Funday with brunch at Bucky Moonshines, and it was a fantastic choice! Despite frequenting the Deep Ellum neighborhood, this was our first visit, and we were instantly impressed.From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant, thanks to an incredible live DJ playing great music. The highlight? $7 bottomless mimosas! We couldn't believe the value and were thrilled to enjoy them.For food, I went with the Cajun seafood boil, and it was everything I hoped for--fresh, perfectly cooked, and seasoned to perfection. My friend chose the salmon pasta, and she raved about how flavorful and well-prepared it was.Bucky Moonshines exceeded our expectations, and we'll definitely be back. Whether for the music, the mimosas, or the delicious food, this spot is a must-visit in Deep Ellum!

Best Crawfish Étouffée I've found in quite some time. Generous amount of crawfish and spice level is just right for me. It has a bit of a kick, but not over the top. The dirty rice it's served on is also very good. Service was excellent as well.

Bartender was welcoming and happy to serve me! I would have appreciated my bread toasted but it wasn't a deal breaker! I'll be back.

This was going to be the perfect 3rd date with Mr. Right, everything seemed ideal at first. We ordered our food around 2:00 pm, I ordered a simple bacon and eggs. At around 2:30 pm Mr. Right got his food and mine was nowhere in site. We told the waiter and then two separate people came out and assured me that my food order had been placed. At 3:15 pm they came over to the table and said I could no longer get breakfast and that I could order whatever I wanted on the menu and it would be on them. I needed to eat what I ordered due to my diet. So they brought me out what Mr. Right got at around 4:00 pm. The service was bad, the music was too loud, and the Manager was very unprofessional, she called the people in the kitchen an ''unorganized hot mess". This restaurant was supposed to be a very special lunch date, but they single-handedly ruined the date for us. In good faith, I can never recommend this restaurant to anyone. Just through the whole restaurant away and start all over again.

This food is THE BEST I've had. Service was 10/10, they had a DJ and the ambiance was chefs kiss. I would go back every weekend if I didn't live an hour away. Best experience and wonderful people! Loved it

I walked into this place totally clueless, only knowing there'd be moonshine involved, while my partner was practically bouncing with excitement--turns out she had an entire TikTok file saved on the place! The setting was super casual, with a quaint little outdoor patio and fans spinning in every corner to keep things cool. The vibe was perfect.We all decided to go for the moonshine flights, and wow, each one was so distinctly different! It was definitely an experience. My favorites ended up being the sour apple, root beer, and blackberry. With a list of over 50 different moonshine flavors, it was a fun, social experience just trying them all out. And if you're not into straight moonshine, they even had mixed drink options with it.For brunch, they had $7 bottomless mimosas, which was a steal. The food was delicious--the wings were fried to absolute perfection. They didn't have a catfish po'boy on the menu, but when we asked, the kitchen happily made one to order. Our waitress was so attentive, making sure we were taken care of the whole time. The music was great too, really adding to the atmosphere.We're already planning our return trip. I'm still thinking about those moonshine flavors and that brunch--it was seriously such a fun spot!

People! If you're looking for some crazy-delicious Cajun food, this is it! My first bite into the catfish pontchartrain, I was sold. My girlfriend said her chicken fried steak was in her favorite top-5. The boudin balls as the appetizer were the introduction to the rest of the deliciousness that was about to happen. Seriously, go. You won't be disappointed.

Great food and even greater service. The varieties of moonshine offered was wide. Our party of 6 opted for a moonshine flite....very yummy
