Girls having fun
It was a baboon outside
Such Amazing place And My Kids LOVE IT.. We'll be back soon
Not impressed, good price but no buddy skater devices for little ones. Skates were real loose and wheels tapered, hard to stay straight.

Tonight was an incredibly special night. We celebrated my daughters' Sweet 16 birthday here Dad's Broadway Skateland! I have to tell you the owner is an incredible human being. Very accommodating. Lended his expertise in how I should set things up and how he can assist in me in getting it done. His workers are incredible as well! Very helpful and kind... we had about 100 people at our party and everyone sincerely enjoyed themselves! Having a facility like this make it really easy...Let me highly recommend this venue for your parties or civic organizations gatherings! You'll be glad you did! We certainly are!!

Wasn't impressed and no skate buddies for small children. It was air conditioned but skates were worn out.

If you were like me back in the 80s, you lived for those roller skating birthday parties. Back when in-line skates were just a pipe dream, we did our best attempts to jam skate on our four wheelers to the likes of Madonna and Wham! Dads Broadway took me back to those days...had I had grown up in the boonies. Honestly, the folks at Dads Broadway are super friendly and the rink is pretty spacious. It's just that its location isn't all that convenient or appealing. When we rolled in on a Friday night, we honestly thought we stumbled on a giant metal shed with a half lit sign that says "Skate" on it. There were maybe a dozen or so middle school kids making circles on the giant wooden rink. The place looks and feels old. If you want to skate back in time, this is definitely the place to hit up. You and your grown friends can virtually own the rink and hokey poke your way around the block. There aren't a lot of other entertainment options around so if you hit this place up, you're coming for the skating. I understand there's some roller derby action happening at Dads Broadway from time to time. Now that's worth making a trip out to Mesquite for!

Take cash!!! Took my daughter & her friends there for her birthday. They have a snack at but it's cash only. So, you get the total, walk to the front, wait for the guy to run your credit card again, take the receipt to the snack bar then get your food. Oh, if you want pizza, that's $17 for a large that is ordered from a pizza place & will be delivered in 30-55 mins. A girl showed up late & her father was yelled at by the man at the front. Be warned!!! The place is decent, Bathroom smells of strong baby powder to cover the urine smell that has probably seeped into the floor over the years. Staff was nice & there were several parties going on & the staff was great!!

So much better than Aloha. Its sort of weird like 1 lady said, it's like being sent in a time machine back to 1976. Sadly i can only give 3 stars because, like Aloha, I was digusted to the point of holding my breath in the restroom....the urine smell was overwhelming. I dont know why a place this old cant close for a couple days in a row and paint, fix, repair, update, scrub and clean!!!! No excuse at all for such a nasty bathroom. Really gross.

Had never heard of this place but found it while looking for places for my nieces Sweet 16 party. So took my niece one Friday night to check it out before booking the party. Your typical "old" skating rink but not too shabby. So she liked it and we went ahead and booked her party that night. $50 deposit on a 2hr $400 private party which we later added an additional hour for an extra $150. Asked about bringing our own food and could we pick the music and the lady was very nice and said yeah and we even talked with one of the djs and told my niece she could just make her own playlist on Spotify and they could play it straight from her phone. Fast forward to party day I arrived the owner "Dad" an older man was there greeted us and we began to set up food/decorations. The snack bar helper introduced herself and let me know only I could ask for the pitchers of drinks which were included in the package and I could add someone else, so I added my brother. Which I feel was an inconvenience because while trying to greet people and also enjoy the party myself the drink pitchers went empty a couple times when the snack bar helper was literally just standing there doing nothing. I think she could have kept the pitchers full and when I reached my 10 free then asked me if I wanted to purchase more. Then 10 mins before go time the Dj tells me the owner "Dad" doesn't allow music with cursing which eliminated over half of my nieces playlist. Ok I understand you may not agree with music with cursing during your regular business hours but I'm paying $550 for a private party, I think you should play what I want. Went and talked to him and he said definitely still no.Blew it off since it was lil to late to do anything and just told the Dj he could just play the music all night and he "Jammer" did well considering. The bathroom was disgusting I was told by several guests, I did not go so I can't confirm or deny. Then "Dad" comes over mid way through the party and tells me to take all the candy suckers off our candy buffet table because he was worried someone would skate with it in there mouth and get hurt. Ok these were older kids with a lil common sense, I could see if they were small kids. Also the fact that no one had even started partaking of the candy yet but I had to remove it just to make him go away. Then afterwards I find out several guests were told to spit out their gum at the door, some of who were adults and not skating anyway. He was very nice man and seemed geniune but he should take several steps back and try to be less "hovering grandpa" and more skating rink owner. As long as no one was breaking any rules (which we had one incident that was taken care of immediately), he should let us enjoy ourselves. Felt like we were being watched very closely and made me uncomfortable. Overall not too bad of a time though, we enjoyed ourselves, would I ever book here again Nope.

This place is GREAT!!! I took my VBS kids there. They are trying to revive this old school skating rink. We should support small business. They are not trying to charge a lot of money. This is a place you can afford to go too. They really treat you nice and I recommend this place to EVERYONE. Do not be a snob, support people that are giving happiness back to our community. Totally Family Friendly....
