Ok I've written how great this bakery is before. Their pastries and everything for breakfast are still outstanding. I usually hit it up a couple of times a month. BUT, now after getting pizza twice from their Friday night pizza, I'm comfortable saying this is the best pizza in DFW. I love pizza and this is closest to good NY pizza as I've found here. Nice crispy crust. The salad they do for pizza night is also great. So don't miss out on the pizza in addition to wonderful pastries.

I stumbled upon these guys at the Coppell Farmers Market while on a mission to find decent sourdough in DFW, because as a San Franciscan, my bread standards are sky-high. Farmers markets seemed like a solid bet, and I'm happy to report: bet placed, bet won.I snagged their second-to-last loaf (phew!) on a Saturday and impulsively threw in a ginger cookie too--because why not? Let's talk about that ginger cookie. Three kinds of ginger? YES, PLEASE. It was bold, spicy in the best way, and topped with crunchy sugar for that perfect texture. It was so big I split it into three desserts. Praying this isn't just a seasonal item because I need more. Now, onto the sourdough. I tried it for lunch today, and it's got a beautiful chew and tang--definitely the best I've found in the area so far. My only gripe (and this is a general bread-world gripe, not just here) is that I wish more bakeries made sourdough in loaf form instead of round boules. Sure, they look rustic and artisanal, but they're a nightmare to slice evenly--especially when you hit the center. I like to pre-slice and freeze my sourdough for sandwiches throughout the week, and let me tell you, slicing a boule evenly is a test of patience, strength and knife skills I am working on.That said, I'll definitely be back, maybe next time I'll get there early enough to snag the first loaf of the day instead of nearly missing out! There is a physical bakery too - the location I am currently yelping.

Walking into Bresnan Bread and Pastry Shop is an experience in itself. The moment you step through the door, you're greeted with the most heavenly aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries. It's like a warm, inviting hug for your senses. One of the highlights of their selection is their unique, super-long sourdough loaf--it's unlike anything I've seen before and a definite must-try for bread enthusiasts. We also sampled their pastries, including their croissants, which were perfectly baked, buttery, and flaky. The portions were just right, leaving us satisfied but eager for more.Bresnan's combines craftsmanship and flavor in every bite. Love to stop by here again when you're craving carbs.

Have you been living in the suburbs of Dallas looking for a new home? Somewhere to go to that sweeps you off your feet and helps you forget about your troubles with one bite? I was ready to write this review this morning when I indulged in a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and assorted pastries. Then they told me they served pizza by the slice for lunch, so I came back. My expectations each time were exceeded. I can't believe this place exists 5 minutes from me and I'm just now going. If they were open for dinner, I'd probably be coming back again. This place is the real deal. As someone that has had the food sweats since this morning, you can trust me.Highlights: everything. Spinach artichoke danish, did you read that? Wow. The biscuit on the bacon egg and cheese was probably the best biscuit I've ever eaten. Blueberry danish? Spectacular. Don't just go for breakfast, come back for lunch. That pizza is the best pizza in McKinney. Crispy undercarriage, wonderful flavor, wow what a musical I had in my mouth today. In summary, if you're looking for a place that reminds you of a bakery in Chicago/New York (major city with great food) this is the place for you.

Beautiful pastries in downtown McKinney. This is a lovely shop to visit if you're looking for French style pastries. Service is friendly but it can get crowded on a Saturday morning. It's worth the wait.

This is the cutest bakery in McKinney downtown. Love their croissants, the almond and chocolate one are so good. They also have seasonal vegetable and fruit pastries (savory and sweet), we tried the rhubarb and tarragon pastry which was unlike anything I have ever had. Also wild mushroom and cheese pastry with basil sauce was so so good! We go here often, pick some coffee and croissants and pastries and head to the park with our kid. Love this place! Yet to try their breads! The menu looks so good. Highly recommend thjs place!

I had a friend visiting from out of town and she told me she really wanted a cardamom bun. So I went to work to find a place we could go.Bresnan was the one place that kept popping up, so we drove all the way from Carrollton to check out some delicious pastries. We got the orange cardamom bun, the kouign amann, sour cream coffee cake, and cream cheese danish. Everything was so pretty and delicious! I thought the coffee cake was my favorite but the kouign amann really grew on me and was still very good even the day after. It's a bit of a drive from our place but we might be back when we want really good pastries.

4.9 ??? I wanna know who doesn't think this bakery is 5+!!! Wow!!! There aren't enough words to describe all of the delicate delicious breads and pastries at this shop. A French bakery is alive and well on the McKinney Square. There was an actual Frenchman ordering pastries the day we were there - that's a huge nod.If I lived in McKinney, I would eat here every day. We had a chocolate croissant, the monkey bread, a lemon roll & I had a savory quiche. it was tempting to order two of everything. What a gem You will find us here every time we visit McKinney! Very friendly crew and you get to watch them create the magic.
