As a self-declared restaurant reviewer (my only real qualification is that I eat... a lot), I was thrilled to check out the new Bread Winners location in Allen. I've been to other Bread Winners before, but this was my first time at this spot--so naturally, I had to put it to the test with a friend just to make sure we are in a good place.I ordered the Cobb Salad, and let me tell you--this wasn't just a salad, it was the salad. You know when you take that first bite and just know you made the right choice? Yeah, that was me, sitting there like a proud Dad at a little league game. The greens were crisp, the chicken was juicy, the bacon was perfectly crunchy, and the avocado? Let's just say it wasn't one of those sad, underripe, rock-hard avocados. Nope, this was peak avocado--like, "I won the avocado lottery" kind of avocado. Every bite was a flavor-packed masterpiece.And then... the espresso martinis arrived. I can't say enough about the espresso martinis.Look, I was already happy after the salad, but when I took a sip of that espresso martini--made with freshly brewed espresso--I swear I could hear Andrea Bocelli singing in the background. It was so smooth, so rich, so perfectly balanced, I almost expected to look down and find myself wearing a tailored Italian suit. For a moment, I wasn't in Allen, TX--I was in a gondola in Venice, watching the sunset, with an espresso martini in hand and zero responsibilities. Pure bliss.Final thoughts? This place is a winner. Bread Winners has always been great, but this Allen location is off to a fantastic start. Whether you're here for a salad, a sandwich, some pastries, or just a martini (or two, let's be real), you're in for a treat.

The coffee and service were very good. It's huge on the inside.The avocado toast could have easily been more elevated and I was disappointed in the discrepancy of how much avocado you get. The bread is toasted and buttered which is good. The croissant tastes identical to the Costco one which is not a bad thing

As a longtime bread winners customer, I was so excited that there would be one opening up in Watter's Creek. The good: I decided to try a new dish, Leo's favorite scramble. It did not disappoint, the hollandaise over the eggs mixed with the potatoes was such a treat. My sister in law ordered the banana bread French toast which was phenomenal.The bad: the service wasn't very good. It took a long time to get our service and order our food. This is common given it's a brand new location, so if you check it out be patient. Regardless, the food was consistent as is with its other locations so it's worth the try if you're in the area!

I live down the street and have come here twice. Service is great, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. I ordered the classic breakfast, no complaints. The grits are yum but I'd compare them to more of a polenta... very savory. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. He said it was okay/good, I think there was a bit too much going on for him. The cake and key lime pie are divine. We had muffins that were on the dry side and the coffee was decent, definitely one of the best places for breakfast on this side of town.

Fabulous breakfast at Breadwinners in Watters Creek today! We had Kristi as our server and she was AMAZING! Food was top notch!!! Service was outstanding! It was chilly in there because of all the windows so dress warm! Happy to see this addition in Allen! Can't wait to go back!

I love having more and more breakfast options close to my house in Allen. Breadwinners will definitely be added to the list. As you walk in you see a nice display of pastries cookies etc. The service was very accommodating our waitress was on point with all refills and very nice. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu

Love Bread Winners and thrilled to have a location closer in Allen! Their brunch menu never disappoints- I'm a huge fan of the chicken and waffles, the croque madame, and now the farmhouse breakfast tacos, which I tried for the first time and absolutely loved. Our server, Dana, was amazing- she treated us better than family. Can't wait to come back!

Lunch was great! I had the half tuna melt sandwich and half grilled avocado salad. My son had a grilled chicken sandwich and my daughter had the California roll-up. All super good!Sahira was our server and she was so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is great. So happy it's here in Watters Creek!

Food is good, and the manager was very helpful when he corrected our bill in which we were overcharged for bacon and for an egg on one of the breakfast items, even though the menu stated the correct price. However, our waitress, I believe her name starts with an A, refused to substitute one of the sides on the hamburger entree . A garden salad or vegetables is the same price, so you're telling me you can't substitute it for fries or pasta salad which I don't want? Really ?? Very poor customer service. It is not a good way to start off when you're new restaurant in that area. They also charge for two eggs, where the Uptown location told me it was the same price whether you got one or two eggs added on so again, very poor customer service on their part. They could take tips from the Uptown location, that's the one I'll go to, as I know I'll get the best customer service and food .
