First time here and would definitely go back. Loved the vibe and decor. Felt upscale but comfortable. It is cold, so bring a jacket, although they gave us a blanket:)Waiter was very attentive and polite.Tried several things on the menu. 1836 is their take on an old fashioned, which is supposed to have Dr Pepper in it but I couldn't really taste it, still really good tho.Left Foot Special is basically a margarita but the midori gives it an interesting after taste.Wine by the glass selection seems ok, but ask to try them first. I don't think we actually got what was on the menu (according to the check). The burger was AMAZING! By far favorite part of the dinner. The seafood special was good, swordfish, but felt a little dry. My friend got the prime rib and she said it was really good but not sure she'd order it again. I can't vouch as I don't like prime rib, but my mom loves it so I'll take her to try! Get the onion rings on the side!Tried their take on bread pudding, it was pretty good but a little over powering in apple pie if you don't like apples. All in all, I recommend. I want to go back and try happy hour!

One of the best meals I've had recently. My family had just relocated to DFW, I had a hankering for prime rib, and so upon a google search Brass Ram was one of the first to pop up. Upon reading good things, my wife and I scheduled a date night. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu; overall, the service was really superb. We ordered the French Onion Soup, Iceberg "Chunk" Salad (wedge salad); I had the American Cut Prime Rib with a side of creamed spinach, while my wife ordered the NY Steak Frites. The soup and the salad were fantastic, while the Prime Rib was a perfect medium rare, accompanied by au jus and horseradish cream, PLUS a yorkshire pudding (made, I assume, using the drippings of the prime rib yum yum). Taste was everything you'd want out of a prime rib--succulent, well-seasoned yet only with salt and pepper (nothing else to distract from the meat itself), medium rare throughout the entire cut. The creamed spinach was a hearty, very rich side--probably the best creamed spinach I've had, plus it was definitely sharable for at least two people. My wife loved her NY Steak Frites, saying it was the best steak dish she's had at a steak restaurant (or any restaurant, for that matter). Overall, a great place for a specific occasion and/or if you love prime rib. Will come again!

Brass Ram has such a rustic yet opulent vibe! We chose to valet the car as we heard that the self park options weren't so good, but the lot next to the building seemed to have plenty of spots? It's $7 but there's a $1.75 convenience fee. However, it's nice that you can call for your car before you leave. The restaurant is on the second floor, and the hostesses are so friendly, they opened the door for us and were so understanding about us being a little late (valet was parking another car). We got a nice wide booth that could easily fit 4 (maybe even 6) people. Our waiter was super knowledgeable and guided us on the nightly specials and kept in mind my allergies. He recommended the pop's cut for prime rib which is super shareable amongst 2, maybe even 3 people. We ordered 2 sides as he recommended as well because the portion sizes were just right for us two. We also ordered the carpaccio app which was amazing and so delicious. We didn't end up finishing all of the prime rib, and we got extra au jus to take home with us! I'm a little disappointed that they didn't do anything special for my husband's birthday but the whole experience was pretty nice.

Cool rustic place that has a vibe similar to town hearth. We ordered:Appetizer- Crudo royale: enjoyed it, but don't think it was worth the price of $45.Entree- Pop's cut: 28oz, bone in prime rib. For people who love prime rib, I'm sure they'll throughly enjoy this. We learned prime rib is just not our cup of tea. We still enjoyed it, but prefer an uncut piece of steak with a vibrant crust on top. Sides: - Mushrooms: this side encompassed, as the name suggests, just that: Mushrooms. My wife enjoyed the bowl of mushrooms as a pairing for the prime rib- Creamed Potato: delicious. The jus on top was delectable. Dessert:- Donkey roll: the star of the night! I was initially hesitant about this and was leaning towards the carrot cake, but BOY AM I GLAD WE GOT THIS. Highly recommend everyone try this. The roll was a cinnamon flavored pull apart that was effortlessly airy and full of bounce. Topped with a rum raisin ice cream, all over lightly glazed and chopped apples. All in all, a good experience. We wouldn't go back for the prime rib - nothing wrong with it, just not for us - but would undoubtedly come back for the dessert.

The Brass Ram in Dallas, Texas, is a little gem perched on the 2nd floor downtown. From the moment I walked in, I loved the restaurant's chic but nostalgic atmosphere. There is memorabilia everywhere. The highlight of my meal was the wedge salad with a southwestern ranch dressing twist--it was simply amazing!Like a good pescatarian I am, I also tried the crab cake, and let me tell you, there's no filler in this puppy! It was packed with crab meat, perfectly seasoned, and pan seared. Loved it!

The service and the food were outstanding. We were greeted and seated quickly (we had a reservation through OpenTable)), and the general manager came over and said hello. Our waiter was attentive but not bothersome, and offered information on a number of specials as well as some details on the menu. The peach and buratta salad special was light and delicious and truly exceptional. The wedge salad is one of the best I have had. We both got prime rib, the smaller cut and the gentleman cut. The meat was cooked perfectly and very flavorful, accompanied with a popover and horseradish sauce with au jus.Great food accompanied with great service really made this dinner special.

From the moment we took the elevator up, I enjoyed the vibes. The host was welcoming when we arrived and chatted as we walked to our seats. It wasn't crowded for dinner on Tuesday night, which was nice. The appetizers were so good, and the meatballs were just delicious. Our server, Sarah (sorry if I got their name wrong), was fantastic and attentive. She also gave us suggestions off the menu. And everything we got was just delicious We did get the Caesar salad with no croutons But other than that, everything we ordered was as is. We enjoyed it so much that we even got gift cards, but you do have to pay separately for them We did sit in a corner booth closer to the back after the bar. We did Uber, so I'm not sure about parking

What a great restaurant! It was our first time there. The food was amazing (I had the pasta with braised beef and it was delicious). The service was top notch and the wait staff were very friendly. The general manager even visited our table. The ambiance was amazing. Highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.
