I finally had a chance to get to Bramblitt's. I went on a Friday night, and it was pretty crowded. If the front area is crowded, don't forget to venture to the back of the bar where they have a room with a TV. My wife and I had martinis (priced very reasonably) and sat behind a table where the person was painting, so we enjoyed watching her paint. Bramblitt's is an art bar, so painting is encouraged, and they have paint on hand. It is a nice addition to the bar scene in Denton.

My brother and sister did a gig down the street, and stopped at this bar to check out the open mic. Bar was unique with artwork on the walls, but pretty claustrophobic inside. The bartender who had pink hair streaks was incredibly rude with a rude demeanor to all of us. Even though she saw us, she ignored us and took a long time to order. Then was condescending to us. Believe her name was Kara or something starts with a K. Some regulars we spoke with, also said she's been rude and slow to get drinks. We did not want to order anymore drinks after our first drinks and will not return.

I've been to this place a few times to watch some of my friends play shows. Very chill place to hang out and listen to some local artists. As the name implies, there is a big, friendly, adorable golden retriever who hangs out there. There are art supplies and art projects, as well as finished pieces on the walls all for sale, and patrons are encouraged to paint and craft on site. Courteous waitstaff and a friendly all-ages environment make this a very inviting place to spend an evening. The only downside is that the venue is extremely small and is somewhat reminiscent of a wide hallway. it can be difficult to move or find seating, as this place is usually crowded during shows. A fantastic idea and execution in need of expansion.
