Brake & Clutch Warehouse

I decided to come through in the clutch and I did so by trying not to brake anything inside this warehouse.Funnily enough this has been used for some events recently, like some sort of hipster event space, so it's good that they found an extra way to make money from their beautiful facility.But I've noticed nobody has reviewed the brakes and clutch services yet, but they do offer them, so that's a good bonus. Lovely event space though and four stars for it as an event space.

Disclaimer: I only attended a company event here. I didn't have to make the reservations or speak to anyone from the company so I can't speak to their customer service or their process for reserving the space. The venue is located downtown, which isn't my favorite for parking. There is a small parking lot and parking down the street. The space is gorgeous. Rustic warehouse with barn doors and exposed brick walls. The bathrooms were clean, stocked and properly working. All the things I would want from a venue seemed to be present.

Attended a wedding here and the venue is beautiful. The building has tons of old charm with modern touches. The staff was really nice and the in-house caterer was great. Highly recommend.

Our wedding is planned for Sep 2020 but due to COVID we have had close family members (sisters, grandparents, parents) that cannot attend. We also do not want to subject any of our family to potentially catching the Coronavirus at our event, and potentially dying as a result. Due to the inability to have close family attend and the desire to not put our loved ones in danger, we immediately reached out to Brake and Clutch (in early Jun 2020) to see whether we may be able to get our deposit back, or have some other option. I was immediately told by B&C that there was absolutely no way that our deposit would be returned (~$8,000 for venue and catering). My fiancee and I have been devastated since this money was put down out of our own pockets, for our special day, and despite the fact that we now can't have all of the people that we are close to attend, B&C is forcing us to have the event. B&C has even involved their lawyer who has told us that we must submit to binding arbitration, threatening that if we lose the arbitration then we will also have to cover B&C's legal costs. This venue and caterer (CN Catering) have shown absolutely no sympathy to our terrible situation and I would therefore very strongly recommend you stay away from them at all costs.
