Our first disappointment was that there were no tables inside low enough for my daughter to dine at as she's in a wheelchair. Since it was late and we were hungry, we opted to dine outside at the lower tables.I stood at the bar and placed my order with E.G., the bartender. I ordered a smash burger, fried pickles, calamari, and two drinks. The total came to $61. I did not add a tip because I thought the price was rather high, there was no waitress, and I have to eat outside. It was quite cool last night as well.About 15 min later, E.G. brought the food to our table outside. The calamari and pickles were burnt. I tasted very little pickle or meat. I was so hungry, I did eat all the pickles and was going to try to finish off the burnt specks of calamari. I asked my daughter for a bite of her hamburger. The meat wasn't seasoned and I didn't feel like getting up and going in to ask for salt.I wasn't going to say anything because I was like maybe they're getting back at me for not tipping. Then, I said to myself, that shouldn't matter. You just paid $60 for some burnt food. So, I go up to the bar and asked E.G. if I could speak to the manager. She said there was no manager there and what was the problem. I told her I don't think I should be charged $60 for burnt food. She told me she needed to see the food even though she was the one who brought it out to me.So, we went outside. She asked why did I eat all of it if it was burnt. I explained that I was hungry, I wasn't going to say anything, but then decided to speak to the manager, and not everything was eaten. Horrible attitude E.G. then told me they had been serving food all day with no complaints and that their food is cooked on a timer so it's impossible to burn. I said well maybe the grease is old because the food is obviously burnt and the hamburger meat has no seasoning. She then reluctantly said she would see if she could reach the manager at this late hour and see if she would be willing to work something out.I waited outside for E.G. to return for about 15 min. It's getting cold now. I took pictures of the food for evidence as I now anticipated this was turning into a problem. My daughter and I go back into the establishment. E.G. walks pass me as if she didn't know I was waiting on her. She then reaches for her cell phone and appears to be texting. I asked her for the manager's name and contact information which she said she was not allowed to give out. She only had an email address. After emailing manager Erin, she finally responds 2 days later to offer me another free burnt appetizer the next time I come there. She said this is because I said I would never return and was going to blast them on social media. Spend your money elsewhere.
