Birria Aguinaga #2

Went in for lunch and was greeted immediately asking if I was taking togo or eating there, so I sat and it was full service(mostly). Lady came took my order for a beverage and brought out a delicious app of crispy tortillas and onions marinated in a vinegar I assume (it ws good). I did ask for a water that never made it to the table. I had the traditional birria tacos and the flavor was really good and they were cheesy, but the consume was very thin and the taco shell could have been cooked a little better. I did a Facebook live review also and gave it a 7.8 out of 10.

We loved this place! Food and atmosphere was amazing! Very accommodating to menu requests and everything exceeded expectations!! Definitely plan to return.

Tried the Birra for the first time and omg it was so amazing I came right back to get there with rice and beans yummy this was the best and don't forget the churros with caramel extra good thanks I will return again

TERRIBLE SERVICE !!!! The service here is no good!!! Send these ladies to a hospitality class!! My best friend and I always come to eat here but this was the last time. The last two times we have come here, the larger old woman with blond hair was very rude, we have been working in restaurant service for years and we have never treated customers like that. She gets upset if they ask for more lettuce on the plate or if the jalapenos we ask for are missing, she gives us a loud sigh of annoyance or frustration. Also, if the food doesn't taste good she doesn't want to change the dish for the 2 bites that my friend bit into. The lamb chops were so black they looked like pieces of charcoal. A good restaurant always makes sure you are happy with the food you order, but not this place! They did not want to change the dish because according to her they had to call the owner of the restaurant to void the dish from the ticket and she did not want to call him because she has already called him many times and she feels embarrassed to call the owner again. She told my friend that she had to change the dish for one of the same price. The "chops" were worth $14, there was nothing she wanted to cost the same so she ordered a fajita quesadilla and nachos without pico but with the jalapeños. The lady comes back saying that the chef does not want to give her the two dishes that cost the same as the "chops" I immediately told her to call the owner ... she walked away ... they ended up making the dishes that the chef did not want to give us in order to avoid calling the owner to change the ticket. The nachos didn't even have jalapeños, the quesadilla didn't have fajita just plain cheese, and she didn't even give her a fork to eat but we didn't even want to ask the lady for anything else because of her ugly attitude. I don't know why they don't have a manager there that they have to call the owner for everything ... WHO RUNS THE RESTAURANT?!? The waitresses? The chef who never came out? Customers are not important here! We didn't even eat comfortably anymore...not coming back!
