Hands down best Detroit Style pie in the metroplex. Perfectly cooked. These pies are wet, chewy, crispy and freaking delicious. Detroit-style pizza is a rectangular pizza with a thick crust that is crispy and chewy. It is traditionally topped with tomato sauce and Wisconsin brick cheese that goes all the way to the edges. This style of pizza is often baked in rectangular steel trays designed for use as automotive drip pans or to hold small industrial parts in factories. The style was developed during the mid-twentieth century in Detroit before spreading to other parts of the United States in the 2010s. The dish is one of Detroit's iconic local foods.

For anyone who doesn't know, this is a passion project at Alfonso's of the same location. Apparently the owner is from Detroit, and decided to dedicate a new project to Detroit Style pizza. WARNING: I did enjoy the pizzas here, but I have to throw out the disclaimer that their service is pretty bad right now. You may need to wait way longer for your pizza depending on how busy they are. I ordered on a thursday night at 6PM. I didnt get my order until 7:20PM, even though the app said 35 minutes! I was fully committed because I already drove 30 minutes out of my way to get here. Their wait staff and kitchen run around in panic, scrambling to keep up with the orders for to-go or even dine-in. I admit I was pretty upset when I see six people around me all confused as to when they will receive their to-go order. One guy even drove up to the store because his delivery was 90 minutes late. I ordered the large detroit style with pepperoni and sausage. Id say this is a textbook definition of detroit style, from the way it looks to the textures of the brick cheese and crunchy edges. I like how the dough has enough hydration to feel fluffy and not be a dense mattress of bread. The edges dont have the crackly crispy crunch that I crave, but its still fairly crispy. Do yourself a favor and only order the large and not the small. This pizza does lovely as leftovers when heated just right in the skillet. The service may be the biggest turnoff for this place, but I believe that they offer a solid Detroit pizza experience that doesnt require being on a first come first serve ordering list like some of the other pop up detroit pizza businesses. If you're lucky, you'll get your pizza in a reasonable time. Otherwise, good luck and dont be too hungry as you wait!

I order pick up. No where on the website did it say that the pizza joint was in another restaurant, so I found myself driving around for a while. The pizza looked ok except for the edges were burnt. The pizza itself was bland and the crust so burnt that it cut the roof of my mouth when eating. This place is a poor example of what Detroit Style pizza really is

Yes yes and yes! Detroit Pizza for the win. I grew up in the midwest and absolutely LOVE Detroit style pizza These guys do it right. It has a little bit of Italian flair due to the selection for some of the toppings but overall a solid win.

We ordered a small deep dish and a medium hand tossed. The deep dish had pools of oil on top. The hand-tossed did not taste completely done (dough seemed undercooked) After eating one slice of these, we felt sick and threw the rest of it away. Will not be back. .

Really good Detroit style square pizza. Well done crust makes it even better. Healthy portion of toppings too and ratio to dough, which was great as some places skimp on toppings.

Not great....very expensive and not a gem by any means. Domino's pan is $7.99 and its not bad.Jets is fabulous...this pizza is not even close to JetsI'm going to guess that the crust and cheese is pre-cooked and they ad a few toppings and recook itLots of crust...the crisp edge is good but not very many toppings, it reminds me of a sicilian pizzaIt looked great and smelled great...I so wanted it to taste greatwhy why why are there no great pizza's in DALLAS

Took a chance on this tonight and so glad we did. Delicious Detroit-style pizza. We ordered a small pepperoni and mushroom - the 4 slices were perfect for two hungry people. Had the perfect amount of crunch, gooey cheese, and the sauce tasted really fresh. Hit the spot. Looking forward to coming back!

One of the worst pizza! The sauce was not evenly distributed and it was a huge mess! I got bites of pure cheese and no sauce. The crust is super thick but in between the dough felt raw still! No flavor! These reviews must be fake because this pizza sucks! Don't waste your money! It's advertised as a ghost kitchen but there is no signage and it's actually Alfonsos restaurant that you pick it up at! 4 pieces for $16 what a waste! Seriously don't order pizza here it's a joke, it's disgusting!
