Beard Park

Very nice park for afternoon play dates. My kids loved it. The only reason why i left out a star is because some of the items needs a little more security my one year old kept falling off the turning chairs.

Lots of different play scapes for different ages. Baby swings. Lots of benches. Area had a lot of children and still didn't feel too crowded because there is a lot to do including a music making area.

Really is a cute park for kids. The design and layout is amazing, kids can run and play and have different learning experiences. The playground area has turf which is preferred when you have smaller children who still put everything in their mouth. Only downside to this park is it is open to the street, the only thing that separates the park from cars traveling 45-50 mph is a small parking lot.

I only gave 4 stars because of the spiderwebs. There's a beautiful wooded area on the lot and that brings the spiders. No big deal, but it's good to know so you can check out the spaces before the kids.The 360 sight-lines are excellent at this park. The pavilion is a nice 4 picnic table area with around rock wall along the back side - chair height, so PLENTY of seating. The pavilion is partially uncovered (2 tables are covered and 2 are not). But it's INSIDE the playground, which is awesome. I've visited a few parks lately in hopes of a pavilion inside the park (not on the outskirts). The bathrooms are also extremely convenient. I didn't visit them, so I can't attest to their cleanliness. There's structures for smaller kids and larger kids. Structures that are more challenging (like a rockwall, ladder stairs, or rope climb) and structures with steps. There is a music area too. And there are 2 small play houses - locked, but they are good for pretend play (on the porch). A ton of parking. And at least 2 drinking fountains (however, the one next to the pavilion wasn't operating when we tried it).There are only 2 infant swings (no standard swings). I think there are 5 slides of varying heights/styles.

I will say, this is my first time at this park @ 1:00 pm - 06-07-23, the park is nice and different from others, my biggest concern is the restroom, there are so many spider webs and there are no lights the kids were scared to go in the restroom and had no other option but to just go while crying. The first thing I did notice about this park is how many large spider webs there are. If we could have someone come weekly and spray the park down or something that'd be great.

My daughter loved the playgrounds here. She loved looking for the little animals throughout the grounds. I like how the ground is fake grass so it's soft to walk on. I also liked the nearby restrooms with heat sensor sinks and hand dryers. There's also a dog water station too!

Even though my daughter is no longer interested in parks this is a great place. The town has done a fantastic job in the upgrades and improvementsI like the walking paths, they are clean and well maintained.Parking can be as issue at times, especially if any of the neighboring businesses are having an event.

Great park for toddlers on up to elementary school aged kids. There are a total of 4 separate play structures. A couple for older kids and a couple for younger. My three year old had to try all of them of course! With a little help from mom or dad he navigated them pretty well. There's a covered area in the back with picnic tables. Plenty of other benches around each structure for adult seating. Lots of shad, but the majority of the structures are in the sun. Because they are plastic they do get hot to the touch in direct sunlight so take care. They have cleared a pebbled trail in the wooded area for a nice shaded adventure walk. Do watch out for those poisonous leaves though! It looks like more development is to come, but not clear as to what yet. While we were there a couple of food trucks were in the parking lot. Well they weren't really good...shaved ice and artisan ice cream. Shaved ice hit the spot! All in all, great playground and nice spot for a picnic or birthday party. We will definitely be back.

Cute little park with a trail! My daughter has fun here and never wants to leave . It's kid friendly and she likes to look for the animals haha. I like the little buildings set up there. Only downside is that the big kids (7+) running around into the little toddlers. I wish more parks were segregated by age range to avoid these types of issues.

Beautiful Park!Be very careful! Last Saturday (the day before the mothers) I went with my little boy and my family broke the windows of my truck and stole everything inside. The park needs security.
