BBQ King Express & Pizzeria

We went to World Food Warehouse in Richardson and the smells were so intoxicating that we decided on a lunch of non-American fare, so we ended up at BBQ King Express. We had been to its previous location a few years back and liked it. This new location is much nicer inside, more seating and cleaner. The move was beneficial. Most of the menu is Indian/Pakistani but they also have pizza and burgers, I guess for the kids?We started with veggie samosas and they were good but SPICY. The hottest I ever had. It did not come with any sauces but did have chickpeas which were very soft. The kid had pizza but the wife and I had Pakistani. She had the boneless beef Karahi and loved it. She asked for mild and they delivered. The flavor was intense and deep. The food can be incendiary so be careful. I had the chicken shawarma and really liked it. It came with a side salad and the rice was delicious. The shawarma was not spicy. Our server Zaib was efficient and professional. She got our order right and brought things immediately when we asked (napkins, silver, etc). The prices are very reasonable. We would definitely return.

good place for a quick burger bite, but skip the plates BBQ KINag Express is in a popular complex with other restaurants and coffee shops. If you're coming in the evening, parking is kind of difficult because everyone and their pet hangs out in this complex. The restaurant does have good, spacious indoor seating, and a couple of tables outside. Service was good For the food, first off, I've ordered the beef burger before, and it was good. The chicken burger, chicken tenders, and fries were good. Unfortunately, the entree plates are a pass. We had them before in the past and they were good. We had them recently two weeks ago, and they didn't have any flavor at all, both the kababs and shawarma plates. I might come back to try the burger if I'm in a hurry and there's nothing else open nearby

This is in between Arwa and Big Dash. It has a lot of random things on the menu. Peri Peri chicken, Biryani, pizza, gyro, shawarma..etc. Just seemed random. Maybe it's not.. Peri Peri chicken takes 45 minutes to prepare. I'd like to come back for that! The gyro plate was good. Tender. I liked it, it was different from our usual. Kids got a chicken alfredo pizza and beef taco pizza. Don't turn your nose up!! They were surprisingly good. I don't remember what husband had. Would come back.

We come to Richardson often and saw the new sign up for this location. It used to be under a different name previously. We decided to venture our dinner out here. The setup looks really nice for the place and it is very clean. There seems to be plenty seating and had a very welcoming and casual setting. The menu had a lot of options from burgers to kabobs, pizza, pasta and more. Can't really tell what specific type of cuisine it is since there is such a variety, but that works out for people who want to order different things. We ordered the bbq mix platter, spaghetti and fries. Food came out fairly in good time and the servers were very cordial. The bbq mix platter was a great size for all of us, easily 3 people can eat from it nicely. The quality and taste of the kabobs and rice were really good. My boys devoured it so quickly. The spaghetti was also really delicious, loved the layer of cheese on top. Unfortunately, the meatballs and our fries never came which is why I am taking one star out. We didn't order much which is why I feel none of our order should've been missed. Nevertheless, whatever items did come to us tasted great, service was great as well all in all. The host, believe his name was Badal or Badar, was exceptional in ensuring we were okay and kept checking up on us and while we waited for food he brought crayons out for my kids to color. We like it when owners or hosts come out to speak to us, and he did so. He was very courteous and pleasant to speak with. Overall, experience was great and we will definitely return to try other menu items.

The staff was friendly and I really appreciated how clean and fresh the space is. I also like the music playing, as it's not too loud and really adds to the vibe.I picked a drink, ordered, and received my food in an appropriate amount of time. I ordered the daily special, which was Lahori Fried Fish. It wasn't too spicy and was as fragrant as it was delicious.

This was simply amazing. We had butter chicken with goat Karachi with fried chicken and burger and everything was exceptional and authentic. We are happy to have found this gem of a place. The place is clean and staff is very friendly and polite. We will comeback inshallah and try other dishes. Thank you

Chicken wings tandoori flavor are to die for! Generally all grilled items are great. Service is slow at times when they are full. they could improve in this matter.Chicken broast is unique, reminds of KFC but its more tastier here!My kids loved Pizzas and Calazones.Would definitely go back repeatedly.

This was the worst service I have ever experienced. We were a party of six, and the way our food came out was ridiculous. One person got their food right away, then 5 minutes later, another dish arrived. 15 minutes after that, the next dish came, followed by another 5 minutes later. The final dish took a shocking 40 minutes to arrive. When I brought this to the owner's attention, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. While our server was nice, that wasn't enough to make up for the terrible service. We will never be coming back.

Food is so so but way Overpriced and very poor service. Untrained staff who knows nothing about customer service or running a business. Never going back. Waste of time and money.

I ordered the butter chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The naan that came with it was very large and tasty and it was more food than I was able to eat in one sitting. The staff was very sweet and one employee held the door for me when I was walking in with my hands full. You can eat inside or out on the covered patio. Highly recommend!
