I tried this place because I enjoy supporting local businesses. They were very friendly at the counter. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I ordered the sausage and it had the thickness of a hot dog. The mac and cheese was flavorless. Dickey's is close by and their food has a lot more flavor.

Food is always hot and fresh, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Highly recommended you try! The service is excellent!

Oh my goodness, this place and the family who run it are one of the more delightful work travel surprises I've had of late. BBQ DNA is located in a small, nondescript storefront. I walked in and asked Donya, who was sitting at the counter, what she'd recommend. She suggested the caveman platter with brisket, burnt ends, and a side of potato salad. I trusted her and my goodness, am I glad I did. The brisket and burnt ends were properly seasoned and melt in your mouth delicious. The potato salad --- usually potato salad is an afterthought but I would fly back to Dallas specifically for this potato salad. The atmosphere was terrific and the family was just an absolute delight to chat with. Definitely stop by BBQ DNA next time you find yourself in Dallas. You'll be glad you did.

I don't know what to say, other than so good. Had the burnt ends and My Momma's Mac n Cheese. Incredible. Would definitely come back. Incredibly friendly service, very welcoming and comfortable area. Felt like I back home eating with my family.

Best food we had in Dallas. Delicious brisket. Chicken was juicy and peppery. Potato salad and Mac and cheese as good as momma's. Friendly service. So glad we stopped in.

Between Tru and momm...just the service alone is worth the 5 stars....I went with a group of freinds and once we opened the door it was nothing but welcoming and truly feel like your at a family members home. But the food....WOW. starters....banana pudding just get it...ask no questions....the smoked sausage you didn't even have to chew...baked beans had a nice kick the mac and cheese was great. Momma and Tru were so kind to give us the house smoked wings to try as well....and I can say if you went just for that and a side...you would not be disappointed. I hope this place lasts and continues to grow

Family owned business! Great bbq and service. Mac and cheese, green beans, potato salad, and peacan pie are a must! Only caveat, check the hours to make sure they are open :)

This brisket is the absolute dynamite. Like it puts Terry black's to shame and even my own!!! 10/10 would recommend the mac n cheese and the potato salad as well! The banana pudding was knock your socks off good!!!!
