Barneys Cafe

The food at Barney's Cafe was truly fabulous! I ordered Chilaquiles and my wife got an omelet which were both some of the best dishes we've had in a while! Service was great as well. Everything I tried was delicious including the pancakes except for the chocolate-batter pancakes which were a little dry. I found the menu exciting and fun too. Barney's knocked it out of the park for us and I can't wait to come back.

Stopped for brunch and recommend this spot for breakfast/brunch. Biscuits were fluffy and good. Pancakes were especially fluffy and really good. Son loved his pancakes. Husband's bowl was also good and full of flavor.

Went here for breakfast cause I wanted to try this place for so longg.. I saw it everyday while I drove to work and knew I had to give it a try!Ordered gyro omelette with potatoes and biscuits! The omelette tasted amazing! The lamb meat was so flavorful we absolutely loved it! Also, to satisfy our sweet tooth, we ordered our usual banana, strawberries, and nutella french toast which was also amazing! The only reason for 4 stars is cause our server was not very good.. she never asked us for sides when we ordered and gave a super vague reason that a lot of people don't order sides so I don't ask them unless they actually tell me.. I have never heard this reason from anyone! Also, they only refilled our coffee once! I being a breakfast person, have been to multiple brunch and breakfast places and have always had more than 2 refills offered! Oh well, at least the breakfast was good...

Had some free time this morning, so I decided to give this place a try. They weren't busy, so I got sat right away. I ordered bisquits and gravy with scrambled eggs. I also got OJ, and you could tell that it was fresh squeezed. The bisquits were moist, and the gravy had nice chunks of sausage. They put something on the eggs to give them a nice flavor. The prices were very reasonable. My breakfast was about $14 with tax. I would highly recommend this place

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday with a friend/business colleague and quickly remembered why I liked this cafe so much the first time I visited earlier this year. They have a great variety of menu selections, the space is clean and bright, and service is very good. I ended up having breakfast for lunch, ordering a veggie omelette with potatoes and gluten-free toast. Everything was tasty, and our server was attentive without being over bearing. Definitely need to pop in here more often!

Since moving to Dallas, I had avoided anything similar to biscuits and gravy. It is one of the remaining southern delicacies I had no interest in trying.Although initially hesitant, I ordered the Barney's omelette. The first bite removed any hesitation. The combination of the sausage chunks within the omelette and the sausage gravy on top was very delicious. My enjoyment did not end with the omelette. The hash brown was just as delicious with a slightly crusty top. Even though I forgot to request dry toast, it was served unbuttered with a side of butter.

The food here is very affordable compared to other brunch spots I have been to. The service is fast and the food comes out pretty quickly. The food was pretty good and the portions were decent sized. Despite all these positive things about the food and service, I felt like this cafe lacked brunch vibes. It was super quiet and was not giving me the energy that I was searching for. With that being said, if you are searching for an affordable and yummy brunch place, come here. However, if you go to brunch strictly for the vibes, I think it is best if you go somewhere else.

Arrived at 1:00. Had to double check the hours because the way we were being ignored and the way everyone was running around, you would have thought that they were getting ready to close. Server was asking for our drink order before we could even sit down-another bad sign. Brought our drinks and then NEVER came back. Getting frustrated and had to ask someone if anyone was going to take our order. Again, it seemed like everyone was either cleaning up or just chatting with each other. Checked hours again on Yelp. Nope, still an hour and a half away from closing. Food was just okay. Ambiance wasn't anything exciting and with a million breakfast popping up and existing ones having way better food and service, will not be back. Do not understand the 4 1/2 stars.

Best grits I've ever had at a restaurant. Waffles are amazing can eat without butter or syrup

Favorite breakfast spot in Texas. We come literally every time we go to the DFW area. The service is always great and food is absolutely amazing. 10/10z
