Bankhead Brewing

My go-to pizza place a short drive from home. Beer is always great and the servers are always friendly. My pup and I always enjoy the outside seating since it can be loud and cramped inside during the evening hours. I love the Street Taco pizza and the pretzels. The lobster Mac and cheese is great too. You can get a personal size pizza if you want a smaller and cheaper option for 1.

Regardless if you're in the Rowlett area or miles away, Bankhead Brewing is a MUST try.This was only our second visit but we're already planning our next visit. BB's menu is something you'd find in a trendy Vegas restaurant. This place is certainly a hidden gem. I'm not much of a beer drinker but I'm sure there's something for everyone. Let's move on to their pretzel appetizer. This is how I would imagine pretzels in heaven, welcoming and pillowey. The salad portions are enough for two good sized portions to share with. Make sure you bring your appetite as the entree portions are good sized. The hubs ended up taking home half of his brisket grilled cheese that he absolutely loved. Finally, the Piggy pizza (and other pizzas on the menu) are not your typical pizzas so make sure to bring your adult tastebuds, you won't be disappointed.

Bankhead Brewing is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in town. The vibe is super relaxed with a great mix of industrial design and cozy seating, both indoors and out. Whether you're there to hang with friends or have a quiet meal solo, it's a great place to unwind.I've tried a few things on the menu, and they've all been winners so far. The Bahn Mi pizza is a standout with its crispy crust and bold, fresh flavors, but the fish and chips might be my new favorite. The fish was perfectly fried--crispy on the outside and flaky inside, and it was served with thick-cut fries that were seasoned just right. It's definitely a dish I'd recommend if you're looking for something classic yet satisfying. And of course, I can't forget the pretzel--it was soft, warm, and paired with a beer cheese dip that was out of this world.Their beer selection is also great, with something for every taste. I personally loved their IPA, which had the perfect mix of bitterness and citrus notes. The only small downside was that service got a bit slow once the crowd picked up, but the staff was friendly and attentive when they could be.Overall, Bankhead Brew is a fantastic spot with great food (don't miss the fish and chips and pretzel!) and solid brews. I'll definitely be back for more!

This Bankhead location is excellent. A nice area of Rowlett. Their Texas Twinkies are a bit smaller than the Fort Worth eatery but still very tasty. We were torn on which pizza to order. Our server Zailee suggested why not half pizza of each which was an exceptional idea. Service here is absolutely top notch. I don't drink beer much, but here I make an exception for their Low Hood or Liquid Language. Peace out, all is good.

This restaurant is located in downtown Rowlett. It has a nice patio with a fountain out front. We were seated immediately. The aromas from all the yummy food surrounded us. My boyfriend and I shared half street taco/ half the god father pizza. It did not disappoint. The woodfire cooked pizza had so much flavor! Street tacos slices were really unique, while the god father slices had a more classic pizza taste. We couldn't decide which one we liked better! Really liked the country music that they played. Service was fantastic. Our waiter was super friendly and attentive. Other members of the staff would even check on us to see if we needed anything. I definitely will be back!

This is an annual Super Bowl party hosted by friends and a much better experience than the last visit. I always like to give second chances and I'm glad we did. This time I paired the Low Hood (Belgian Triple - Complex spiciness from Belgian yeast phenolics. Finishes dry and smooth with subtle pilsner maltiness 9%ABV 32IBU) and the Mad Honey pizza (pepperoni, bacon marmalade, hot honey, olive oil, basil). If you're looking for a place to have a gathering, the brewery room is good for small groups and they also have a nice patio area. The main dining room gets loud and hard for conversation but overall it's a nice atmosphere. Our service for the event was really good even with the chaos of too many people in that small space (not the restaurants fault). They did dedicate plenty of staff to take care of all of us and given the number of people crowded in there they did an amazing job of getting the right food and drinks to the right people. My bf's pizza did get lost in the shuffle somewhere but they remade it and got it out to us pretty quickly. All-in-all a good event and good food/beverage!

First time here and an amazing experience!! Great service, great drinks, and great food!! Andrew, Eric, and Priscella took great care of us. Very attentive. The longer we were here, the busier it became!! We sat at the bar, just an awesome restaurant and brewery!! Tried different specialty drinks and the hamburgers were really good & fries super hot. Everything cooked to order!! Plenty of parking. Great selection of award winning beers! Everything was fantastic!! We will be back!!

Can't wait to return!! From the ambiance, food to our waitress Brandi to the decor, we enjoyed it all. Bankhead Brewing has a cool, deep ellumish vibe for those who are a couple of decades past spending their weekends in Deep Ellum. We started with a beer flight, obviously. Beers and cocktails were good! Enjoyed the BLTA dip and the Texas twinkiesgor appetizers. Brandi mentioned the Twinkies were spicy but as native Texans we had no fear. These peppers will take your taste buds right off but they were sooo good!! The Nashville chicken sandwich was perfection!! Big piece of chicken, with a crunchy crust and a little kick. The Piggy pizza was a hit! Tenderloin Steak sandwich was good but the least monumental thing we ordered.Prices were a slightly higher than expected but seems to be on trend with the last few years. I can't wait to rerun and sit on the patio.

This place was jumping, but service was still good and quick. It's a beautiful place and they had football on, which is a win-win for us. I'd prefer grilled chicken in my salad over the pulled rotisserie chicken. But overall, the food was good, beer was cold and people seemed fun. I'd definitely go back when I'm in the area.
