Aviators Wing House and Craft Cocktails

Awesome neighborhood bar! We just moved to the neighborhood and hadn't tried any of our new local restaurants just yet. My husband LOVES wings, so this had to be our first stop. The name is spot on for the decor. Everything is aviation themed and looks fresh and fun. They even have airline seats outside when you want in the front door. On this particular evening, I don't think they were expecting a crowd. There were less than 10 people there when we arrived, but it had nearly tripled by the time we were done. Overall, I think we were there a little longer than normal, but the server/bartender was incredible. It was only her on the floor, so she was spread very thin, but she had a great attitude and speed to make up for it. My husband ordered a cocktail that had very specific ingredients, so she apologized to him for the delay, but she wanted to make sure she had the appropriate amount of time to make sure it was made JUST RIGHT. And that she did. Both of our cocktails were delicious with well-balanced flavors. The wing sauces are not your every day choices. Of course they have your typical sauces, but they had some unique ones as well. The Mile High Club was the atypical sauce my husband chose and I went for the Rising Sun. I LOVED the Rising Sun and would absolutely order it again. Their fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned. The cook was helping out by bringing food out to tables. I'm not sure if he normally would, but I'm sure the bartender appreciated the help if it wasn't normally done. I certainly hope this isn't a "fly by night" (sorry not sorry for the pun) business because they have all the right recipes for success at their fingertips. We look forward to our next wing stop.

Whew, there was a lot going on at Aviators on a late Saturday night. First off, the music was LOUD, and evidently being controlled by someone's phone at the bar and they were picking their choice of music which was all over the place. They even stopped/started songs over a few times. It was a bit much. The server was nice but not very attentive. She was gone for long periods time and did not circle back to check in on us. My biggest complaint is that I picked dry rub wings...and my wings came out greasy/wet....I even wondered if they weren't cooked all the way through. I blamed myself because I usually ask for my wings to be well done/extra crispy and I didn't this time. I didn't finish my wings because of this. I will say the "Aviator Rub" flavor was pretty good. I also ordered a salad with my wings, but I didn't get it until much later when I was done eating my wings, we were trying to tell our server this but as I stated, she was gone for long periods of time. When she did come back she said that the kitchen kept giving her caesar salad instead of a side salad :-/ My date did enjoy his wings though and the lemon pepper french fries were also good. I ordered a drink and it was entirely too strong. I like a strong drink that also tastes good, the alcohol over-powered the flavor -- which is not the point of having specialty drinks. I see a lot of great reviews so maybe we just came on an off night.

Tried a new place out and it did not disappoint! They had crappy Justin Bieber (or something) for awhile. Asked them to put on the World Series and the sound and they did right away. They were short staffed so that hurt them but everyone was so nice and all the food was great!!!Justin was our saving grace!!!! Best.Dude.Ever.Wish it was closer so we could go again. Poppers were awesome! Only 4 but super good!! Fried pickles are cut super thin and also great.Wings were all good. Turbulence and aviator dry rub were our leader board!Cajun and truffle fries were perfection!!!Thanks for a great night out at a new place. Give it a try!!!!

Meaty, flavorful wings, though I'd probably order them extra-crispy next time. Service was not only friendly and attentive but seemed to enjoy their jobs as well. The atmosphere was cool with several TVs, classic rock, and of course aviation-themed decor. They also have a nice patio area that opens to the bar.

Very nice people working here and a clean and comfortable space. The wings were so plump and juicy, which is what people who love wings hope for! We all had different sauces but I highly recommend Kailey's Landing.Next time I'm in Dallas, I'll be back!

They're still in the soft opening stage, but excited to see another wing place popping up nearby!Ambiance: Staff was friendly and everything looked new. Inside is like a regular sports bar. I will say I came around 12p and they were still closed probably as it's soft opening, so I can't back around 5p and they were open.Food: expensive for what it was+ Buffalo Wing: good= Chicken tenders: just ok... Breading was thick and not crispy+ Fried cheese curds: good= Tater tots: could be crispier

What a cool spot! Visiting from out of state and found this place for late night food and drinks. We ordered several drinks off the hand crafted cocktail menu that were fun and delicious. Mine had a freeze dried dragon fruit slice. Our server Justin was a super friendly guy. He helped me select the right drink for my tastes. I would return for sure!

So we started our journey here on Friday evening but the man above had other plans for us (big time accident in the car) anyway we made it here for lunch and decided to try the wings and quesadillas. I have something to compare them too so this was an easy one! The wings were great, they were crispy and hot (just as they should be). The quesadillas were filled with chicken and vegetables (could use a little more cheese) and as they say if the wife is happy than everyone is happy. I wanted to come to a place as an ex helicopter jock, I'd feel comfortable. The ambiance is typical end of runway, flyers pitstop. The service was excellent! So if you want a place just to kick back and be able to think a little without the booming music and see friendly faces (with a smile) try the aviators wing bar.

Order pickup from here. The order even went through and of course, I was charged. However, when I showed up, the business clearly looked closed and seems like it was for a health code violation? Really frustrated because I was excited to try this place.

Wings were amazing so glad I found this place will be back unique flavors and the drinks were so good but the service was best of all the owner was nice. The bartender knows how to make drinks and the young man that greeted us and sat us at the tablewas so kind.
