I just visited Ascension Coffee for breakfast before the Dallas Open and I just completely fell in love with it. To start, the ambiance is so fun and upbeat, it is a great place for working or having a full meal. It was a bit on the louder side, but I would imagine it was because of the event going on. Our server was genuinely so sweet and helpful. Really personable and just kind. I loved the s'mores board - I always see their coffee flights online and really want to try! It lived up to my expectations and was perfect to share with a friend. We also shared the mimosa carafe for the table, which was a generous size and so delicious. I ordered the hippie bowl as my entree and it was so flavorful, nourishing, and yummy. I added a side of chile crisp, which was amazing and enhanced the flavors. I literally cannot wait to return and I am so grateful I discovered this place!

On a crisp sunny morning we walked into this cafe close to the cowboys practice field. We were not sure what to expect, but it turned out to be an excellent find for cappuccino. Full bodied, not bitter, aroma of dark chocolate and citrus were first notes to hit with crema. It was like close your eyes and imagine the valley where coffee was grown. Not just cappuccino, most of their ingredients are locally sourced. And our server was amazing enough to offer us suggestions on food items. I had veggie sammie which was excellent.I'll be back soon for another cup.

Stopped by here for a visit after a tour of the Star Cowboys training facility right across the street.The coupon card we received as part of our tour package enabled discounts at certain stores along Star Boulevard and Cowboys Way. One of the deals was 10% off at Ascension Coffee so we decided to use it.It was a pretty hot day out so we ordered a couple of cold drinks.My bro got a chocolate frappe, my dad got the apple matcha and I love my cold brews so I got the salted vanilla cream cold brew.Thumbs ups from all 3 of us with all the drinks! The cold brew was smooth. I was worried that it would be too sweet due to the vanilla cream but it towed the line perfectly. There was more saltiness to the cream than sweetness which I prefer. The apple matcha my dad had was interesting. It did taste a lil on the artificial side and the apple was definitely more pronounced than the matcha. The chocolate frappe tasted like a milkshake (I prolly would order it w/o whipped cream myself).They made the drinks in a pretty timely manner. Maybe took 5-10 mins? We ordered our drinks 30 min before closing time and sat like 30 min past closing time and they were very nice about it (we sat on the sofas to rest our legs)!Would come back for that cold brew the next time I visit Dallas!

This is our second time here and I can say the service never lacks. The food is always great. Everything is always so fresh and delicious. The pancakes are to die for. We love to eat here before we do awards for our cheer competition. We love the vibe of this coffee shop.

Imagine my shock when realizing I've never reviewed one of my very favorite coffee houses!!! I love this location. It's close to me, vibe is always cool & cozy. It's clean, fun people in and out, and menu is just excellent, and most importantly, coffee is excellent. Pane Aria Benedict is my favorite, and I ask for Sweet Potato Hash with anything I order. Currently obsessed with the S'mores Coffee Flight - please don't tell me the calories!!

Stopped by this spot for a coffee break. Coffee was really good, we ordered the hazelnut latte and lavender vanilla cappuccino. We also ordered their pancakes for a snack. Great service! Our server was quick and respectful. My cappuccino came out wrong at first and she was quick to correct it. This place a good spot for students, business men, small groups like couples or dates, and can occupy bigger groups. Only thing is, it's more on the quieter side, great for studies or work meetings of the like, or for those looking for a chill spot with a cup of Joe. Overall experience was good. Till then, let's sip!

This was a very cute coffee shop at the Star. Great location and ambiance. It was a quick stop after spending the day there. We wanted to try the flight to check out the holiday menu. Although we had various flavors, none really stood out too much. The hot chocolate my cousin tried was very good. We may have just needed to try something else on the menu.

Had the chance to check out Ascension for brunch today. Pleasantly surprised by how good their food was, but the coffee was actually just ok to me personally. Tried the fall flight which had some pumpkin flavored coffees and butterscotch flavors. Probably would have been better to try just one kind, like a flat white or something. Steak sandwich: 10/10. The fries that came with it could have been more crispy and flavorful. Asian Fried chicken sandwich: 9/10, a little greasy but good flavor. The spice they used was complex. Service was really good. I got checked on a million times. And he gave good recommendations. Was pretty busy for a rainy Saturday. Probably would be a wait if the weather was nicer. I would go again to try other menu items!
