I've been a member here at ASC for close to 30 years. From archery, sporting clay, skeet, trap, rifle, to pistol there is a range here for everyone.Although I'm not as active as I used to be (I got a real job and lost my skeet partner), I still love to come here and make some noise. I'm mostly a skeet guy but also enjoy heading down to the pistol and rifle ranges from time to time. This is a private club and from what I hear it is not real easy to become a member anymore. Better thee than me trying to get in I guess... hehee.

This is a great outdoor range. They are in progress of upgrading this range. It is affordable, $5 per person, but you must be a member. It is extra to shoot trap. It also has the option for archery. Our entire family went . My daughter was able to target shoot a .22 rifle, and I tried out a revolver. It's fun and a great place to practice.

Exceptionally nice club and facility. Might be the best kept secret in the South. Yes, the club is private and it might take months to get in with even the on-line processing. The ranges for everything, including archery are maintained with volunteer work days...that means you participate in the improvements with your own hands. I have found all the members very friendly and easy to get to know, yet there are some very serious shooters and fishermen here too.

Great club, great people, spirit of volunteerism thrives inside and out of ASC. Many youth groups, ladies day, etc sponsored. Brand new half million dollar, lighted skeet fields, six totally rebuilt rifle and a pistol ranges out to 200 yards, all freshly paved...ASC has been investing it's 2800+ members' dues wisely. Also trap, sporting clays, 5-Stand, archery, fishing pond...$75/yr dues, $325 to join, no share to buy, no "fraternity to rush." Once a member, free to shoot 365 days a year. The clays are the least expensive ANYWHERE, and have been stable at $3/25 clays skeet/trap, $4/25 clays 5-Stand, and $5/25 clays sporting clays, which includes super sport stations. Come one, come all!

Don't bother, what a clckesss unfrield bunch of members. I made three meetings and tried to mingle, because you have to have two members recommend you and what a hard group to get to know. I'm pretty friendly and out going, and this bunch of characters are a funny crowd. Dont waste your time unless you know someone that is a member. By the looks of the place they could use a few members to generate some money to do so upkeep.

I called to ask a question and the man who answered the phone just said "No" and hung up on me. I think that is very rude and disrespectful. No manners or professionalism at all. Do not consider.
